Ordered mine and my daughters food and I asked if I could not have any drumsticks with my 3 piece meal please. To be greeted by this arrogant cocky young thing of a kid saying dont know not sure attitude. To which I just starred at him. Thought the saying goes. The customer is always right. Anyway the food arrived and my god it was ultra spicy. To the point my daughter left most of her popcorn chicken. Not the best I've had at all. Needs some serious changes in the place.

Staying in the area for a few days and thought we'd treat ourselves to a take away. Sadly, neither food nor staff were anywhere near any standard, not even poor, much less than that. Soggy lukewarm fries which were covered in black spots, and miniscule lukewarm pieces of chicken. Counter staff seemed to have mislaid their manners......the food was thumped onto the counter, no hello, hi or thank you, just a 'wait a minute, your ice creams being done'. We won't be returning !!!

I had a very good wrap today and well presented. 13/7/24. Adequate parking and with a roundabout at each end, it can be visited when travelling north or south.

It would seem they are downsizing the meals and drinks. What used to be a nice meal is now only a snack. Sadly they haven't downsized the cost. Nearly £18 for 2 small meals. Will think again before using.

Fuming I came all the way and they were “closed” despite the workers just standing around in there. They state that they are open 7 days a week until 11pm it was 8pm. Not happy 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

Food was hot even though we took away and my grandparents enjoyed their favourite rare treat. It was really busy so there was a short wait for food the main issue was getting parked.

Micro mega box basically half empty, Mixed toilets made my female partner very uncomfortable as there were men in there and it was a small space , children should not go in there on there own, There was only toilet pans in the cubicles they were covered in urine, the floor had urine on it and toilet paper on floor very dirty , My partner asked me to stay with her as she felt threatened

Fried chicken served wasn’t hot and tested bad! Burger was delicious as usual!

Best kfc in Herefordshire the one in the main of Hereford is hit and miss but this one is 10/10

Be very careful what you order from here. I ordered a 4 piece meal and it came in a small box. I double checked with the staff member that it was all there and his reply was “You’d be surprised what we can fit in there”. Well the surprise was that they’d picked the smallest pieces of chicken possible in order to save using a bigger container!

This place is a lot better than Hereford KFC Hereford makes you sick AS Hereford food is so greasy where Ross is brilliant food

We had a visit to KFC in the sunshine today, great food, great value, close to Starbucks as well. Handy location when driving north or south.

Had monster bucket for 1, it was very slightly undercooked, chicken was a little springy to chew.

Poor service unhelpful staff with a don't care attitude and chicken very greasey and asked not to have any legs as my partner cannot eat them and were given 2 of them as they said thats all they had! Will not use them again!

Handy on the way home from watching Wales play in Cardiff. Awful service - closed all the seating areas - I suppose to avoid cleaning. Staffed by children who were extremely rude to customers and even told one elderly gent to eat outside (at 9pm mid winter?) Very greasy for a KFC

Been their few times now service and staff are not up to standard as are rude plus they never give the customer everything that should be with the meals plus taken food back twice for my money back as first time was eating in at KFC and the chicken was no where near cooked and second time was dry and over cooked and today found a hair in the batter with soon put you off eating it wouldn't be every going back as over price rubbish if ask me

A lovely KFC, food was very good and it was very clean

The food was hot but found the original chicken quite greasy. There was a lady cleaning the tables and chairs where I was sat but rather than lift the chairs she was dragging them out across the floor....it was akin to nails scraping down a blackboard and extremely unpleasant. It's good that they are now cleaning regularly as this was not previously the case, but in your face cleaning right next to where you are eating is not good. Previous reviews appear to have picked up on cleanliness issues in the past but this overkill is unnecessary around guests who are stoll eating. The watermelon and lime drink I had was nice and refreshing.

Food was nice and freshly served. One of the better kfc's I've been to with the bathroom facilities clean 5☆

Hot food unlike MCDS, gravy is awesome and food was nice. Can be a bit messy in the seating area. Good value.

We entered and used the machines to place our order. We found a table whilst we waited , they were all unclean and left over food was even left on the floor in the corner. We cleaned the table ourselves before collecting our order. Staff were not very interactive and the one , who was slumped over the counter, even called across the restaurant to notify me there were plates on the counter. Would have been more pleasant for him to have brought them over, seeing as it was quiet in there. Food was nice and well cooked. Not a place we would stop off at again.

Cracking place to stop off not very busy like the town KFC it's perfect, get your food straight away no wrong orders etc. Quiet seating area.

Two orders that I was going to check prior to leaving but thought they couldn’t get wrong. I WAS WRONG! One order had only one side and the other missing a chicken fillet. Not been there for about 3 years as it was bad and won’t be back again as still bad. Couldn’t be bothered to go back to sort

Walked in to an empty restaurant, completely dis'd by three members of staff within 2 metres of me, debating some technical aspect of fried chicken no doubt. Not so much as a 'hi, will be with you.' Ok if it was one person who was busy, I'd have more patience but 3? I blame whoever trained them in customer handling (or not). You make human contact with a person asap, felt instantly uncomfortable so walked out. Perhaps I should have heeded the traffic cones in my picture, turned around and never entered. Anyway in ten minutes I'll be at Gregg's in Monmouth.

A ideal little KFC full of your normal KFC goodness. Planty if space to sit and really fast and friendly service. The eating area was very clean and well maintained by staff regularly keeping it clean and tidy.

Busy place but order dealt with promptly by a very helpful KFC employee. Only waited a couple minutes for order. One of my best experiences at a KFC. Well done Ross on Wye KFC.

Nice little KFC to fuel up en route to Wales. Limited seating inside, but the outside seating on a nice day was a good place to eat. Clean and well ran made for a pleasant visit.

Dirty, dirty, dirty. No toilet roll in toilets, no hand sanitiser. We asked for something to clean tables, they said they didn't have anything. We had to use serviettes and water from tap in toilet. All tables filthy, bins overflowing.

The worst KFC I have ever had, cold insipid chips, luke warm non crispy chicken. Tried to complain but staff not interested. Waste of money as food was inedible.

Dirty windows, dead flies everywhere, my order was wrong; I didn't get a receipt as the printer wasn't working. The air con system is covered with dust, the floor was dirty...avoid

Lovely little KFC on Ross round about, very small queue, not long to wait for food. Had a very nice wrap of the day 😊

I used to be an inconsistent experience going to a KFC. they would have exceptional sites and abysmal sites, thankfully they have got this fixed as they are have a standard offering. The new small budget menu means my wife who eats very little can find something for her taste and people like me who are a bit of a greedy sod can order something that works for me.

Computers were easy to use to order the food which was made quickly and to a high quality.

Literally the fastest food I've ever had. I typed the order into the computer and by the time I'd walked over to the counter they were calling the number. Food was fresh too.

Twice taken food bad and got my money first time was first time eaten in their the chicken wasn't cook and the second time was dry to the bone wasn't impressed at all

Portions very small, and not many chips were all legs, 1 chips, 2 straps of chicken, very small 2 sparrow hot wings, and 2 chicken drum sticks £8,99, I have always enjoyed a KFC but this place let them down big time I will not stop there again

Love this KFC! Very friendly staff, normally quick service and the food is always spot on! Loads of parking by the shop too! Little bit expensive now, but it's not the stores fault! 10/10 would recommend to everyone!

I reviewed this place a few years back, and it was terrible. It has improved slightly, but a lot more could be done to tidy the place up, empty the bins regularly, and provide a better experience. Still one of the worst I've ever visited, but has improved slightly and no longer feels like I'm being electrocuted in a bath of vomit.

An experience I will never forget. The food? Amazing, the best KFC I have had and will probably ever have. But more importantly the service, and waiting times blew me away. But the general vibe of this place was second to none, something I couldn’t comprehend, a lovely lady offered my friend a free Pepsi, everyone in the restaurant displayed the upmost manners and respect. It was as if Saka, Sancho and Rashford converted their penalties; this experience was the peak of a functioning British society. In a very bleak world this experience somewhat restored my faith in humanity. Ross and Wye KFC, you have my heart⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Great place if you like chicken

We only stopped for a drink, so not really long enough to give a more detailed opinion. However, the staff involved with my order were very friendly and polite.

Food was awful, asked for a bucket but if possible no legs as none of the family like then .They said they would try .. got home and they had put 2 legs and 4 tiny picues of chicken in the box ..these looked like wings .. the least they could of done is put 6 varied pieces in. The fillet strips 4 were good and 2 were only half pieces??? .The gravy was the runnyiest I have ever seen . Really need to up your game as this used to be one of the best ones around . I couldn't take it back as its a 25 mile round trip .
