What a lovely little cafe. We had a realy lovely breakfast. We was very lucky to get in as it was very busy. Very clean and the staff were lovely

Thought would try somewhere different so tried this cafe for first time. But was overpriced to say the least!! I usually visit another local cafe where I can get x2 Bacon, x2Sausages, x2 eggs, x2 hash browns, black pudding, baked beans, x2 fried slice and a choice of toast or bread & butter accompanied by either tea or coffee for £10.95……. At Tollesbury Cafe….. £16.90 complete and utter nonsense!!!

Absolutely delicious scones. Wonderful range of unusual flavours. Such a charming little cafe with a range of local pottery and other art for sale.

Found this wonderful cafe quite by accident and enjoyed the most wonderful brown fried bread and eggs I've ever tasted. Haven't had fried bread for years (not many restaurants do it) but it was worth waiting for. Service was efficient, food freshly cooked and atmosphere great, thank you. Highly recommend.

We visited here this weekend. Cafe is very cute and a good breakfast selection. I’m coeliac and also dairy free. The gentleman that served us was very knowledgeable and could not do enough for me. He made sure everything was cooked in a separate pan. I wish other places were more like this! Food was lovely and we would happily return. Thank you!

Just walked Tollesbury wick, with 2 Jack Russell's, called in for some lunch, friendly and dog friendly.. Asked for 2 sausages for the dogs and they came out all cut up in a bowl each ... Our food was lovely as well sandwiches with plenty of salad and homemade coleslaw!! If your passing you must call in... especially if you have your dog with you ! Throughly recommend 👌 👏

We've just had the club's Christmas Dinner at the Tollesbury Cafe: excellent. Reasonable price; the food was very good & plenty of it; the service was unobtrusive & timely; they provided Christmas crackers and each person got a fridge magnet with the club logo on, which was a very nice surprise. They catered for vegetarians and those with food allergies with no problems. Definitely recommended.

Our rambler group visited the cafe for lunch and experienced quick and efficient service. I had the best egg sandwich ever- not too firm ( rubbery), not too sloppy, seasoned perfectly, and served beautifully, and my friend had a delicious coronation chicken sandwich. My first visit since a change of ownership in (I believe) 2020. The new owners were very friendly and welcoming. We sat outside as it was a sunny day but inside was bright and very clean. Service was quick and our food arrived as fast as it could be cooked. I had a breakfast which was tasty and non greasy with the fried eggs cooked to perfection. My tea was included in the price of the breakfast. The ladies loo is spotlessly clean with some useful little bits just for the ladies. I will definitely be telling my friends and family about this little gem.

A Friday morning breakfast of a full English at a very decent price with toast and a hot drink. The food was hot, nicely presented, cooked without loads of grease or fat left hanging around and very tasty.The Cafe was warm and lovely and clean.The staff welcomed my sister and I and afforded the same welcome to our two little dogs who got half a sausage given to them after our breakfast offered by one of the lovely staff.We look forward to visiting again soon.

We have visited this Cafe over many years and notices that, towards the end of 2019 it was beginning to look somewhat tatty.Evidently new owners have taken over and WHAT A TRANSFORMATION!We did our usual walk out to the Lightship with our two little dogs, looking forward to the usual bacon rolls and a mug of hot tea.On entering the cafe we were literally stunned by the transformation. In two short weeks the new owners have literally gutted the cafe and have redecorated to a very high standard.The food was just what we needed, hot, freshly cooked, and served with a smile.Our little dogs were even treated to their own portion of bacon, completely free of charge.Evidence of summer treats present such as soft ice cream and specialist flavoured ice cream make one think of the warm days ahead.
