Went for an evening carvery and was served by James and Harvey who were helpful and friendly despite being very busy. Food fresh and hot as usual.

What a lovely little establishment, my waitress hannah was very efficient and had a lovely table manner. Will return, thank you hannah

From stepping in through the door our vist was exceptional with a lovely sunday roast and a drink . Hannah was very welcoming and attentive .

Food was excellent. Roast beef really good. Spuds great. Cauliflower cheese a delight. Sausages a welcome addition. Massive Yorkshire was a tad dry. Oodles of excellent gravy sorted that out. Really good service all through as well. Decor left a little to be desired - food on the floor stains on the ceiling, dated soft furnishings. It was v noisy as well - sat near screaming kids didn’t help. But worth going for the carvery.

Myself and a couple of my friends went to the Toby Carvery Warrington..our food was really good and our server was a guy called james..what a knowledgeable young man..and a very polite member of the team..nothing was to much trouble for him..having team members like james means we will definitely be back..Thank you 😀

We have had the carvery in the past and it was lovely. Today due to the hot weather my friend and I decided to go for the house salad with turkey..absolutely disgusting!. I don't know how they have the cheek to charge for it!. The turkey was beautiful but it was just a plate of lettuce (and not even nice fresh lettuce) thick slices of carrot, I found a 1" ribbon of cucumber and they had thrown on 2 cherry tomatoes that hadn't even been halved and the dressing was acidic. We ate the turkey but left the rest...I'm just sorry I didn't take a photo!...if you want to know how to do a first class house salad then visit the Stag at walton!! NEVER AGAIN

Not good. Some of the dishes were empty, only a beef joint and not much pork. Turkey wouldn't be ready for an hour. Not the usual standard. I had a discount for a kids meal but wasn't asked at the carvery. I thought we would just be charged with it at the end. Very warm.

Was here for a family lunch food was good staff were very nice especially our server James who explained everything to us and was very attentive, would happily return

We come here on 10th July I can honestly say it was the worst roast ever had it was cold the mash test like soap it wasn’t good at all the desserts were actually hotter than the main meal 1 of are friends didn’t even eat 5 mouthful as it was that bad

This company should be ashamed of itself. Visited for Sunday lunch with my teenage son who has special needs. I asked the manager, Mark Lynas, if we could have a few slices of bread because my son won't eat any vegetables, including potatoes, and he couldn't just have a bit of meat as a meal. He refused 4 times. I explained he is autistic and still he refused. I said I was happy to pay the full carvery price even if he just had meat and bread. Every time I asked he just said we could have the carvery or nothing else. He only backed down when he realised how it would look if he made us leave in front of other customers. He finally conceded we could have some of the left over bread from the breakfast service. Wow! How magnanimous! I made a complaint on the Mitchells & Butlers web site (who own Toby). And guess who they gave the complaint to? Of course, the manager I complained about. He send me a standard template email saying thanks for the feedback and it disappoints him to read about my experience. No apology. So I phoned them to complain. They said the area manager, Nicholas Moore, would contact me to discuss. That was four days ago and I am still waiting for his call. Really can't knock this pub for a good Carvery. Excellent selection of food. The young lady at the bar and hovering around the pub couldn't do enough for everyone and her manners were exceptional (especially in this day and age) 2 Carveries...one being a normal sized one and the other being a bigger plate came to 14.99 because I had a voucher.

Love Toby Carvery - Food always top notch , what makes this one special is staff - the chef on carvery 9th March & our server - james , an absolute gent. We're a big group from Ireland 🇮🇪 & he looked after us at the highest standard. Nothing was too much & always a cheery reply with a smile.

The worst carvery I have ever had, more fat than gammon. One pot of gravy between 4 people with one ladle in the pot. No Yorkshire puddings, no stuffing (when we clearly requested kindly extra stuffing, is this a joke?) ! And all puddings non existent. What an absolute disaster. I have had to make my own gravy and microwave the meals for £74 that is shocking. Thanks for upsetting the wife on mother's day and No thanks. I have attached my one pot of gravy between 4, the other pots were pigs in blankets they were great.

Went for a midweek carvery. The food was great, great value for money. Had a vegetarian option it was lovely. Katie who served us was brilliant, she couldnt help us enough. She was a credit to the place!

First time for breakfast we went in and was greeted by two lovely members off staff, they told us everything we needed to know, food was amazing ypu just help yourself. Will be returning in the near future thabkyou again, Hannah and I'm not sure of the other ladies name. Thank you.

I love toby carvery. The food was lovely this evening and staff members were attentive and were all smiling. The two staff members who attended to us seemed happy and were very patient with us. i usually visit a more local toby carvery however will definitely be back to this one.

Warm friendly welcome, food was great simple all you can eat, we had refill hot drinks aswell just what you need in the morning. Hannah served us today very attentive.

We enjoyed dinner here twice while staying at the hotel nearby. I also attended alone one afternoon and enjoyed similar great standards of service. I was impressed by the staff who clearly engage with their customers.

We went to the Toby Carvery for a birthday meal and we were served by Sydnee who was lovely to us. We were also helped by the manager, Paul, who was kind and really helpful in regards to some gluten sensitivity questions. The food was delicious and everyone was filled and happy. Shay the bartender made out night. This guy needs a raise. We sat on the bar side and made sure that our Wowcher code was honoured as it wasn’t as straight forward as it should be! Honestly felt bad for that(the manager came over and sorted it). Shay ensured we had everything we needed and was just so friendly towards us. Despite being busy he still spoke to us. He couldn’t be any more friendlier, nothing was too much for him!! The food was lovely too. One of the best we’ve had in a while. Food very nice could be hotter good value for money but I was charged £2.50 for a glass of still water which spoiled my experience. My friend was charged £2 for half a Bitter.
