Toby Carvery in Liverpool

Fantastic dinner. Fab service by Natalie Great atmosphere here despite being really busy. Pudding was fantastic too.

I came today for a dinner at 12pm with my partner, the chef jamie was funny and wonderful, the meat was juicy, the veg was fresh and nice and hot, will be returning.

The food was absolutely amazing as always and we was served by a lovely young girl called Jenny. We will definitely be back very soon.

Myself and my husband deceided to pop in for Lunch, he wanted the carvery I just wanted a sandwich. The waitress came and took our order, advised the sandwich would be about 10 minutes and left. My husband got his carvery which did look very appetising, while I waited for my sandwich, and I waited and I waited. By this time, my husband had finished his lunch and I was still waiting for a sandwich !!! In the end we deceided to leave, on paying the bill we advised the young man that my sandwich had never arrived, while I appriciate it wasnt really his fault, his response was "aaah sorry about that. Nothing else. I found this really bad manners and bad customer service, I had previously discussed bringing the Grandsons into the Breakfast with Santa, but now I will probably go somewhere else. Toby Carvery you have let a customer down and yourselves.

I would gave 5 stars only I booked front booth for my brother who disabled in September ,only to be told not book even though on my E mail which was disappointing The young lady served was lovely although seemed lack of staff for a full restaurant Food was delicious as always and staff serving was friendly and efficient We still return ,please get these issues right great place otherwise

Food was really nice and fresh was served by a lady called Natalie who was very welcoming and ensured we had our drinks topped up and recommended some deserts to us.

Nikki was such a lovely waitress to my friend group and asked us how school was going. She was very quick with clearing up our table.

Aigburth is my favourite Toby, every member of staff is friendly and approachable. Our server today was Carol. She came to our table, introduced herself, and asked if anyone had any allergies. We placed our drinks order and went for our carvery. The food is always great and so much to choose from. The yorkie puds are huge, then five meats and everything you would want on a roast. We got back to our table, and our drinks were on the table ready for us. Whilst eating, we were asked if everything was alright. It's always a great place to eat. Thanks, Carol, for the personal touch .

Can't fault the food,the carvery was great, the beef so tender and a great selection of vegetables but the service was appalling.We had finished collecting then eating our carvery before my grandsons. 5 chicken nuggets were brought to the table.We waited another age for his ice cream.Definately need more staff.Good foo

Stopped here on whilst leaving Liverpool. The food was what you expect from Toby Carvery. What made the difference was the service. In particular was George. He went over and above what you expect from them. Would definitely recommend.

Usually come to this carvery as we find the food decent. This time one of the carvers the really loud one made some sexist comments, including the likes of women can’t think for themselves and how they copy the person in front of them. Was totally disregarded when I said something back and handed my plate. Waitress had a very rude attitude when we just asked what the policy was on the food deal. Huffing and puffing in front of our faces just trying to get a simple question answered. won’t be returning.

Came in yesterday and was served by Carol. She was amazing there wasn’t enough she could do for us, she was really attentive to our girls and was really helpful and kind. Good service really makes it! The food was lovely and was a pleasant experience all round.

Me and my boyfriend when for dinner had a warm and Bubbly waitress called Wendy she was the most loveable character I have ever met she spoke to us and made us feel welcomed she didn't just speak to us ones and walk away

This is my favourite Toby, I know they should all taste the the same but they don’t! Toby Aigburth is by far the best. Recently refurbished and feeling nice n cosy. Lovely service from Ayesha who was delightful throughout.
