Baltic Fleet in Liverpool

Sitting inside and was provided wine in a plastic pint glass. Informed the barmaid we were sitting inside and requested a proper glass, but was refused as the “dishwasher was full”. Pointed out there were clearly clean wine glasses behind her and was rudely told they wouldn’t provide one. Very poor service and would not recommend. For the cost of £12 for two drinks, would expect much better service than this.

What a shame! Ordered 2 drink - appreciate the sunshine and the busy day- having worked in hospitality for years . To be refused a proper glass when you pay £12 for 2 drinks is a bit of a take a mic moment - especially with the attitude from the lady serving me. The lads behind the bar are always great, but to be told no when there were clearly clean proper glasses behind the bar is a bit of a disgrace to the hospitality industry. I expected more from you Baltic Fleet …

A quirky favourite of mine that serves decent beer - try the Trappers Hat - and attracts an eclectic customer base that ensure the place buzzes. It aso has an excellent outside area for the summer months

Gran pub, pero comprueba cuánto te cobran. Me estafaron. Me cobraron de más por una pinta por cinco centavos. Tal vez esto es común en Liverpool y debería haber sido más cauteloso y haber pedido ver la máquina de tarjetas antes de pagar, pero no esperas este tipo de cosas... Por supuesto, esto podría haber sido un error genuino, pero el hecho de que fuera exactamente un cinco por ciento más que el precio de la pinta que pagué me hace pensar que fue deliberado. Pero la elección de la cerveza era buena y la calidad estaba bien y el otro personal del bar que me cobró correctamente por mis otras bebidas era educado y profesional. No debería dejar que una experiencia manche mi vista, pero ahí estás.

Great escape from the cold and wind. Lovely crisp beer and an open fire, too. Steeped in history and well worth a visit. It's also much cheaper than a pint on the Albert dock.

Called in for a quick drink as we were passing on the way home. Quite a busy Saturday night but we were served pretty quickly and with a friendly smile as if we were regulars. Two spirit drinks reasonably priced, nice clean glasses and even somewhere to sit. Can't comment on the food but we will be back again especially now I know you serve Paulaner 😁

It's a nice drinking spot. We we're a little disappointed that there seemed to be less choice on the board than we saw advertised, but i think it was just luck of the draw and not a reflection on the pub. Relaxing atmosphere.

I have to say this is the worst smelling toilets I've Ever smelt, I didn't need to ask where the toilet was because I could smell it from the bar FFS sort it out please 🥺👃👃👃👎

A pesar de estar siempre alejado de los negocios de “tarjeta solamente”, la Flota del Báltico estaba adyacente a donde nos alojábamos, parecía un buen borracho a la antigua, así que pensamos en chuparlo, solo por esta vez. Al llegar al bar pedí un Guinness y un vino blanco. La chica detrás de la barra tiró del Guinness, y lo dejó reposar en la bandeja de goteo mientras ella recogía el vino. A su regreso, colocó el vino en la barra y me empujó la máquina de cartas. Toqué mi tarjeta, pensando que todavía estaba dejando que el Guinness se asentara, pero luego pasó a servir a otra persona. “¿Qué hay de mi Guinness?” Yo digo. – ¿Es tuyo? Ella dice, señalando la pinta que había tirado no 30 segundos antes. – ¿Quién sacó eso? – ¡Err, acabas de hacerlo! Yo digo – ‘No, no lo hice’, ella reacciona y luego pregunta a los otros dos tipos detrás de la barra cuál de ellos la sacó, a lo que ambos responden incrédulos “¡Yo no!” Como la chica ya ha empezado a servir a otra persona, uno de los chicos recarga el Guinness y yo pago por ello. Como un disparo de despedida, la chica me grita ‘la próxima vez, solo deja que la persona te sirva, ¡ahorra confusión!’ Huelga decir que bebimos y Foxtrot se dirigió a un establecimiento más amable y acogedor con personal que estaba en realidad en el planeta tierra.

It is a precise pub. In a unique building, lots of light and good atmosphere

No longer brews their own beer but reasonable selection in good location if you want to avoid expensive fizzy lager in Albert Dock

Difficult to find the entrance on approach. On entry, disappointed to find all vestiges of original interior gone. Served by not unfriendly staff a reasonably priced pint of bitter. Ultimately shocked on visiting the gentlemen's rest room to find the most unhygienic toilets it has been my misfortune to clap eyes on. The interior looks like the house that Jack built. Someone in the not too distant past has spoiled a very important part of this city's heritage.

Often come here when we've been walking from Aigburth down the waterfront to the Albert Dock. It's just on the right as you come out of the dock. It's just a small walk on the other side of the dock road dual carriageway. I believe its now a Grade 2 listed building. It has quite a history going back to the nineteenth century and has a very unusual triangular construction. Haven't tried the food in here recently so can't comment on that but they usually have a great choice of real ales and beers.

Lovely place for a pint, especially in the summer and great selection of beers - cask and craft keg (plus the usual culprits).

If you’re visiting Albert Dock but prefer the more traditional pub for a decent pint of cask, then this Grade II listed bar is the place to go. Choice of 4 top cask ales - I had the locally brewed Oatimus Prime APA - a great scoop when the ☀️ is shining. Large 🖥️ behind the bar showing the Euros

A great pub if you want a more "old school" English pub experience. It seems to be one of the few (perhaps the only) place in the area that has maintained this "vintage" atmosphere. You will find several beer labels, some of them local. About the food, I believe they don't have a kitchen, but you can order the classic pub snacks - roasted peanuts and chips (both processed) if you want. A great pub if you want a more "old school" English pub experience. It seems to be one of the few (perhaps the only) place in the area that retains this "vintage" atmosphere. You'll find several beer labels, some are cask beers. As for the food, I don't think they have a kitchen, but you can order the classic pub snacks - roasted peanuts and French fries (both industrialized) if you like.

Chilled, the toilets are a delight. We sat outside under halogen heating.

If you’re a lover of both cask and craft beer’s this is definitely worth a visit has they have decent range of beers to choose from. It has a number of small adjoining rooms and the seating areas are all serviced by outside lighting. It’s quite comfy overall however it was a little on the cool side during our visit despite having a warm real fire burning so we only stayed for 1 drink. We will have to visit when the weather improves. It was very popular with the locals.

Traditional but unique pub as a stand-alone building in the Albert Dock area or really closer to the Baltic Triangle neighborhood. A bit weathered on the outside but the interior was cozy, which is just what I needed with the wind whipping as I walked to the hostel nearby. Tons of draft options and four cask handles. Crowd was a good mix and it was busy for a Saturday night but not overcrowded. Nice.

Was on a walk around the docks and fancied a drink so popped in for a pint. Lovely atmosphere, decoration and choice of ales. Settled for a stout and watched life rush by outside for a while. Was card only on my visit, not an issue for me using Google pay.
