Great pub, loved the band (Lizards Lips) really lively atmosphere

Great place with a good relaxed atmosphere, I'm going back to sample the food today.

We come to Liverpool 3 timesa year and always come back toFlanagan;s apple for breakfast i don't know of anyone who knows a better breakfast in Liverpool very well cooked and presented by anne and the team the whole experience is amazing and would recommend that you give it a try at least once

Very kind staff, Anne especially was lovely but all staff were great! Great food and drink, always asked if we were okay with drinks etc - and kindly put the Newcastle match on for us :)

Top tier boozer, Anne was great. Cracking food and mint Guinness.

Wife Had the steak was supposed to be medium was cremated mushroom was drowned in oil chips cold and hard peas also cold onion rings over cooked I had mixed grill all over cooked poor quality steak . Nice drinks tho

Had dinner here on a Tuesday evening night and it was that good we went back for Breakfast on Wednesday morning.

Shame the fire alarm went off, but the staff ushered us all out quickly and safely. I'll be going back, God willing.

The staff are so friendly and attentive! Been several times on our visits from Glasgow and it’s always the 2 female staff who serve and they are just lovely! Tapas food is always yummy

Leuke pub en zeer goede burgers. Niet massive, muziek op het juiste volume en bediening zeer vriendelijk. Geen rare fratsen bij ingang (als je dat vergelijkt met andere pub’s waar 1-3 Security medewerkers staat in dezelfde straat), gewoon zoals het zou moeten zijn. Heerlijk voetbal gekeken!

This is the third time Flanaghans have accommodated our large group of family and friends. We visited 12.10.24 for joint birthday celebrations of my nephew and auntie (21st and 75th). We pre-ordered food and had the upstairs to ourselves. Two weeks before, I sent our menu choices via email and made full payment easily, using an online link. The staff and chefs were great and ensured our party of 71 people had a lovely time. Considering we were such a large party, the food and service could not be faulted. Serving 71 people, I imagine would have been quite stressful; however the service we received was excellent and the staff were really friendly too! We will look forward to visiting again in the future. Thanks for yet another great time at Flanaghans.

All four of us were hungry for a hearty meal after leaving home in the middle of the night to fly to Manchester and take the train to Liverpool. The small Irish breakfast, three lemonades and a cold beer were just perfect! And best value. We need to come back for their burgers with brioche buns. Thanks for excellent service, Anne.

We have been many times drinking at night but today was first time we went for food and with our child. We went there this morning for breakfast with our son. Huge portions, gorgeous food, lovely professional service, bargain price and most importantly family friendly. We felt totally at ease with our son and would definitely recommend to anyone with kids. We will be returning for food again.

Only experience the cellar level, but what a great atmosphere, good live music and a perfect choice when you've hit the limit of your Beatles nostalgia for the night. Def worth a try

Nice and welcoming… lovely food, great atmosphere… the chicken wings and spicy sauce were beautiful, also halloumi fries and dirty fries really nice. Coujd’nt fault this place… give it a try …..

Came to Flanagans Apple this morning for breakfast and was served by Anne/Colette. They were absolutely amazing. Entertained my toddler too with balloons 🎈 so we could eat our breakfast as parents in peace😂 food was really nice too 😁 would definitely come back again.

Do not go here after 11pm. Bar opens until 12pm, however if you get a drink at 11.55pm you unexpectedly only get 5mins to drink it, they'll put it in a plastic glass then threatening bouncers force you outside. Unpleasant, far better places

I came for a Sunday proper Irish/traditional breakfast, and it was delicious, super cheap and extremely satisfying. They offered white or brown toast, so I took the latter, and it was great bread. The joint was nearly empty and quiet, with most Saturday night revelers still recovering. Perfect! I wanted to go there again this morning, but it was closed for breakfast due to kitchen issues. We reluctantly went around the corner to another pub, The Welkin, which was more modern but without character, and leagues lower in quality, thus extremely unsatisfying, like I imagine prison food, or slightly better. I came back for lunch, served by manager Collette, and enjoyed a delicious fish and chips prepared by Bianca. Yum! Collette, upon hearing of my Beatles pilgrimage, kindly brought me to the closed (at lunchtime) upstairs to show me q photo of Paul McCartney walking past the property before it was Flanagan's. The pub is now here for 40 years. Flanagan's I shall remember fondly, and heartily recommend as breakfast spot.

I can’t even give this a 1 star, the woman was aggressive with us, she kicked us out because my brother decided to sing on stage on his 21st birthday, she pushed him off and then snatched our drinks off us. The glass then dropped on my ankle and has caused my ankle to be in a throbbing pain for ages! I asked for first aid for an ice pack and she laughed and said you are laughing a laugh aren’t you. Continued to kick us out considering needing help with me ankle. She then called us the bouncers to say we weren’t allowed in! And then threatened me outside and came to hit me. Honestly guys I wouldn’t go there! I need some sort of help with this because this was awful🥲I’m 22 from north wales and wouldn’t hurt a fly and this is what I get back😭

I was here for watching Poland and Netherlands and had breakfast and a few beers the breakfast was really lovely and the beers were cold with reasonable prices and great service from Anne. Cheers dave & Sean for the runny eggs!

Great Irish themed pub/club on Matthew Street near the Famous Cavern Club with live DJ and music, plenty of seating and dance space, live sports and of course Guinness. Unfortunately the atmosphere got a bit too much for us personally so we left! However excellent spot to visit.

Good craic bar a few strange people, drinks were a bit weak but awesome vibes and really enjoyed it.

Fantastic pub, music food and drink selection really great. The welcome and friendliness of staff made it. Well done to leanne and Jamie you made us so welcome real ambassadors of an amazing city

Will definitely recommend to anyone visiting this area of Liverpool. Great service, food & all round atmosphere. The staff were friendly & welcoming. Food was very reasonably priced & scrummy. Will most certainly go again when we visit Liverpool again as it’s one of our fave cities! Special shout out to Anne & Leah who made our experience even better. Service with a smile!
