Toat Cafe in Horsham

Cafe is very basic so adjust your expectations. I dropped in for tea whilst leaving my car to be washed by the staff. Appalling job leaving the car with filthy smears on the paintwork and obviously poorly wiped down at the end with so much missed. The tea was watery and they used full fat milk despite me saying I didn’t want that so tasted nothing like tea. Questionable hygiene in evidence so I avoided ordering food. Cannot recommend so avoid the cafe and car wash as they’re part of the same organisation.

The place does not look promising from the road, but its worth persevering as there is a wide range of food and undercover seating. Its a bit cheap and cheerful, but our food was well cooked to order.

Car wash I had my 4 x 4 washed this evening. I received an extremely poor wash and Poor service. I will have to check the paint work for scratches tomorrow in day light.

Always first class service food and value my wife and I visit this cafe on a regular basis add have never been disappointed with the quality of the food the service and the price. Excellent

A strange experience. Arrives and a man told me it would be £45 to clean my car inside and outside, haggled him down to 40 but then was charged 35 - obviously trying his luck. The people cleaning it spent a good deal of time doing so, so I’m utterly baffled how they did such a shoddy job of the interior. I can't speak for the cafe per se, but the person in there didn't look massively welcoming!

We visit this cafe regularly throughout the year and have always found the food excellent and very good value for money Maggie who runs the cafe is always extremely polite and friendly as with the rest of the staff we always look forward to our trip it’s a nice ride out for us and a lovely place to eat

I had my forerunner washed on the outside a couple of weeks ago £11 - ok not a thorough job but it was adequate. Pulled up in my partners audi (girl on her own) and said I wanted just outside washed. the Group of men all congregated around and one man said to me £50. I was shocked so turned the car and pulled out

Very nice new management that clearly care about the place and the customers, & good breakfasts. Tables were spotless and the place is well looked after with staff cleaning up. Nice quiet spot away from the road with no loud radios blaring away. I had a bacon and mushroom baguette which was lovely and obviously fresh that morning. Dining companion had a full breakfast which looked brilliant. A little bit pricey for the full breakfast which doesn't include things like mushrooms beans and chips, also the sausages tasted a bit on the cheap side. Place has come on leaps and bounds over the years , with the addition of a posh gazebo to eat under, and a wood fired pizza oven. very nice quiet roadside diner.you can have your car cleaned while you eat too. Recommended.

I ordered a fab fish finger sandwich and it was perfect! Seasoned to perfection with tomato and a dressing. It was absolutely delicious. We'll be back for more!

Good food at sensible prices. You can get your car cleaned at the same time. Could do with a Toilet make over.

We stopped here to have the car washed, very good job too! We went to the the cafe to have some breakfast, the lady taking the order seemed to be very new and did not understand our order (standard breakfast with brown bread toast and sausage with mushrooms on toast!) plus a tea and a cappuccino! We explained a number of times . No cappuccino as they did not know how to work the new machine, and when the breakfast turned up, it was with white toast! We decided to carry on. The food was ok. The toilets were not, no pipe work to the urinals and the hand drier did not work! All seemed to lacking some TLC. Good car wash shame about the cafe and facilities!

Love this place. Great home comforting food served with a smile. Such a selection to choose from but always good. You can get your car washed whilst you eat too.

Good old fashioned cafe on the road. This is not a cafe that would win any contests in styles for presentation. Bit tatty decorated in the late 70s. The look to be made up of 4 large statics bolted together. That being said, the food is good and the place is clean. I would recommend.

Well we could not have wished for more - we had a fabulous breakfast in the sunshine, while our car was washed and cleaned. Two cups of tea later after a lovely breakfast we left in our clean car. What more can you ask for !!!! Thanks a million yours Jacky & Greville

Started using that carwash approximately two years ago, gone down hill quickly over the last eight months, shoddily finished off, not bothering much with my alloys or a proper window clean on the inside, or dry down, seems like easy money taken and who’s going to complain!!! No better than a mechanical carwash.

Love the place and the staff. I often stop by a couple times a week when I am on my motorbike riders. Huge car park, easy laid back atmosphere, the perfect place to sit outside, enjoy the weather, have a rest before riding off somewhere.Food and drinks at a reasonable price. Place does look rough and ready but well worth stopping by.

Have wondered for years what it was like and on a whim decided to stop for lunch. Service good, food very acceptable and price incredibly reasonable. No-one is suggesting you will get the finest cuisine here but it was a very good experience.

Meal's haven't changed for years even though the staff and management have just plain and simple cooking

traditional, hard-to-find cafe in the sense that it is unique... - spacious, friendly, great parking and a good base to do country walks from. Highly recommended

The eggs were undercooked, the chips were greasy and the the beans were cold. Avoid at all Costs!! The staff hygiene is poor. The woman who served me had filthy nails and I found a hair in my food.

Do not waste your money on complete rubbish. The elderly lady who served me was abrupt, overcharged me and was disgusted when I queried it. We left 75% of our food. I would never return. No wonder the car park is always empty. Do not let your child go on the slide it is an accident waiting to happen.

Qué timo. Hoy me cobraron 4.50 libras por un sándwich de queso y tomate y una lata de Coca Cola. Soy particular sobre que hace que mi comida y donde comer, así que me agradó la entrada que me recibió una chica limpia buscando detrás del mostrador. Camino con mi pedido, aunque una mujer vieja con uñas amarillas aparecían y asumió la orden y me cobraron 4.50 libras.

Me hacía creer que no puede ser en lugar de negocios en Inglaterra. Tercer Mundo tiene instalaciones mucho mejor.

Pero me temo que el desayuno allí tuve Full-english dieron la squits durante un par de días. Yo no he comido nada más y no puedo pensar qué más puede haber sido. Una buena taza de té, aunque fui con y a pesar de la manera en la que me dejaron, el sabor de desayunar iba estaba bien. La comida y el entorno no son gourmet, pero luego es un café de transporte, lo que se puede esperar?

Este lugar no es nada más que una parada de camiones y algunos cálidos/comida caliente y un té y café, puedes decir que esto desde fuera, así que un tocino sarni tostado es acerca de la fuerza del menú gastronómico, Bromas aparte te ofrecen un desayuno completo que estoy seguro de que es buena, pero no esperes un servicio de restaurante. En general, no está mal para algo de líquido y comida.

Bien esto es práctico para mí si necesito un lavado de coches rápidamente, dejar el coche allí por un excelente lavado, entrad en la cafetería para tomar café y un pan, que no tiene nada de especial, pero está bien para el propósito. No puedo comentar sobre la comida caliente como este no es un lugar sin comer. Para Lavado de coches y el café es bueno, aunque me hubiera aunque habría pagado que sirve café de filtro. No es un lugar de lo contrario pararía.

The food looks like it been re-heated countless times.and everything else leaves a lot to be desired.

Ate here with 6 friends. We won't go back again. The tea rooms in pulborough or the bird sanctuary are much better places for food, that is not drowned in fat and is just a little more than warm. Avoid the toat - it is not nice.

Fantastic food, very friendly and good prices.Do not be put off by the outside. It has free wifi and newspapers for its customers.Thoroughly recommend it.

We stopped off here on our way to work. First impressions were that it was a bit tatty. The table was sticky. Then the foreign woman serving struggled with the question about fresh or tinned tomatoes.For nearly six quid the breakfast wad a bit small also not very good quality, cheap food poorly cooked.We won't bother stopping here again unless the road is blocked by impassable snow drifts

It may not look like much from the outside, but inside you'll find a family-run place serving up breakfast, lunch and early dinner at prices that I haven't seen in a while. Seems to be frequented both by locals and people travelling through. I haven't tried a lunch yet but the chips are delicious, just like good chip-shop chips, not the frozen ones that pubs often serve. Very easy to get to and you can't miss it, just outside Pulborough on the left if you're going towards Billingshurst. The building is made up of two old caravans put together. Outside are two kiddie slides that look like a dragon and a circus elephant -- all part of the fun. According to their website there is also a car boot sale here on Sunday mornings. And in case you need a car wash, there is a hand car wash right next to them so you could have a coffee or lunch while waiting for your car to be cleaned.
