Toad N Turtle in North Lanarkshire

We waited 45min for 2 appetizers one of which came out frozen... we sent them back and asked for our entrees instead as we wanted to get back on the road home. The waitress brought the chef out to look at our table and they stood there clearly and loudly talking about us all while the chef was eating French fries out of a cooking bowl and licking her fingers... Our waitress had the worst attitude I’ve ever seen, was rude and barely talked when at our table, the few times she stopped in. They were not busy and had at least 4 servers just standing around most of the time. The manager/bar tender was serving more tables than the wait staff... and at no point during our 1 1/2hr stay did he even come to our table and check on us... and afterwords when we talked to him, he gave zero f$$ks. This was by far the worst dining experience I’ve had in years! I’d recommend scavenging for food out of the gas station dumpster over this place any day! Bathrooms were clean tho.. ‍♀️

We arrived at the Toad and Turtle and sat at an open table. And sat, and sat... Several other couples came in after us and were immediately served. We continued to sit and be ignored. After 15 minutes we chose to leave. We mentioned it to a server as we left and got an “oh well.” We went to the Canadian Brewhouse where we were immediately served with great food and drink. Too bad Toad and Turtle, we won’t be back anytime soon!

Went for wing night on a date with my husband. The atmosphere was cozy and the staff was really friendly. The wings are meaty and big not burnt little things you get at other wing nights. So yummy! Plus there are 37 flavors to choose from! It was a great night out and now our favorite place for wings!

It really doesnt matter when I have ever gone to this pub, I have never had good service. The food isnt that great either.

We say waiting 20minutes before finally being handed a menu, the waitress didnt apologize for the wait served us water and walked away with the order. Took another 45min to get the food only to find it was burnt and over seasoned.So Unfriendly staff, the manager who came out to assist was unhelpful and just as unfriendly. She claimed that we were just being picky eaters. Never coming here again.

I have to say that the service was very good. The Shepherds pie and the beef dip was just so so. Happy hour had really great vino prices.

The service is great, the atmosphere is inviting, the seating is relaxing for myself that has a bad back. The food is always fresh and cooked to perfection. I have been here many times and have always been completely happy with everything overall.

There were 8 of us. A late afternoon to visit, enjoy some wine and beer and some food. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is what you want in a pub. Good drinks and better than average pub food.

We visited the Toad N Turtle for the first time with friends for a surprise birthday gathering.The Atmosphere was great and we stuck around to watch the Flames game vs. the Canucks afterwards. The place was not packed but it seems everyone who was there had a good time. Prices are a little bit on the higher end ($3.95 for a diet coke is a little excessive), but overall our experience was very good.We did not eat but the people in our party who did enjoyed their food, particularly the desserts.

We had the brunch on Sunday afternoon (I had lunch). The service was good, prompt and friendly. The breakfast dishes looked quite good with good portions. I had the pub burger with fries. The burger was ok but the meat was a bit dry. Fries were not plentiful but tasted ok.

Food not the best and a little pricey for what you get. Don't mind going there for a drink but I do not eat there.

Went in for food and drinks with a group of associates last nite around 830ish. Bar and restaurant was not to busy. The hockey game was the feature sports event on the television around the bar and in the restaurant. Now most bar/restaurants that I have been to will have sports on but music in the background. Not this restaurant. Over the speakers was the sportscasters giving the play by play at a volume normally associated with someone who forgot their hearing aid at home. The volume was made worse by the fact the establishment was only 20% full at best so there was an echoing effect. We practically had to shout at each other when carrying on a conversation. I look around the bar and the restaurant and it didn't seem to me anyone was riveted to the TV listening to the commentary but rather their posture and mannerisms suggested they were also finding it difficult to carried on a conversation. I asked the waitress if they could lower the volume, she advised she would ask the bartender. Suffice to say, if the volume was lowered it was not noticeable. We as group lost our appetite and left earlier than planned. Although table service was excellent, the ambience was terrible, which could have been made better with taking the time to respond to the customers needs. As a result this restaurant gets a thumbs down from moi. There are others in town which will welcome the business.

Nice atmosphere but food overpriced for small portions and quality. No longer serving pitchers of beer.

As a person with celiac disease it is hard to find much to choose from at most restaurants. Once again the selection was minimal but what I did choose was tasty, but kind of uninspired. My companions were happy with their meals though :)

Amazing service and the food was phenomenal. The poutine was piping hot and the roast brisket dip was lean and tasty. The carnivores pizza was pilled high with quality meats. Very filling, clean, courteous, and overall delightful.

I stopped in here the other day with some of my family. The service we received was alright - but it was a little disappointing we couldn’t go to the upper level outdoor seating area.

Haven't been here for over a year as last time it was quite poor. Decided to try it again and we were pleasantly surprised and it could have been because it was half empty but the service was really good and the food was good. Menu has been changed since last time and it seemed quite varied. Had a bison burger with fries and cheese burger wrap with salad. Salad was fresh and burger and wrap were tasty. The wrap wasn't overly big though. Also tried calamari and they were good but touziki sauce was flavourless sour cream. Ask for a different dipping sauce.

It’s a beautiful day and my boyfriend and I decided we wanted to hang out on a patio, sit in the sun and enjoy some pub food and drinks. The service was great until a table of men sat down the next table over to us. They seemed to be regulars. They were all fine except for the fact that the server completely forgot about us. Prior to them sitting down, I had asked for a pint of beer. She said “sure thing”. And it wasn’t until 3 more guys show up to that table and get their pints before me that I noticed she had forgotten. Numerous times she had walked by us to go to the table of men and flirt and chat about mardigras and how she got so drunk the entire time. At this point we had been done our food and my boyfriend also had an empty beer glass wanting another but never had the chance because she never came around to us. I was going to get my food packed up in a box but when the boys got another round of beer without the server even acknowledging us we just got up left to get our bill from the bartender who then had to ask our server for the bill. We like toad and turtle but after this experience, there’s a really good chance we will not be customers at this location again.

We went for wings and beer as a couple. A table was 2 away and they were very loud. We mentioned this to to server and her reply was that they were regulars. We had difficulty speaking and left after we had eaten yet had planned on staying for the evening. The loudness from this table was too much much for us. Not sure we will go back.

Stopped in for happy hour. Bartender was a great guy. Friendly and knowledgeable. Had 2 for 1 appys. Maui Ribs and some wings. Food was fast and hot. Large wings. Maui ribs were a bit on the small side, but super tasty. I’d give 5 starts if it weren’t a bit spendy.

We enjoyed a great pub dinner at the toad! The service was good the food was good. For a Friday night pub dinner this really hit the spot. It was busy but not crowed - the tables are nicely spaced. I would certainly go again.

We were there a few years back food was terrible and service. Tried it again these past few months what a change food is awesome service outstanding. Love the food great taste and the service is great. For those who said food was tasteless you need to have your taste buds check. Keep it up guys and gals

Have had numerous meals there to try different items on the menu but most items are flavor less. It is hard to get service most times and the manger is horrible who likes to argue when there is a problem with a order. Wing night is crazy busy and very loud plus it is expensive for most items.

Stopped in for lunch with some friends, service was good, we all enjoyed our meals. The burger was excellent, so nice and tasty. Alberta beef is so good. Served with some excellent dipping sauce. You also get a choice of sides that include sweet potato...

I know it sounds funny being from just north of Calgary to be promoting Edmonton but the Edmontonian lunch is awesome! Perogies, bratwurst and sauerkraut with hot mustard. The service is good with friendly staff.

If you're looking for a nice pub to hang out and have any kind of conversation, go somewhere else. Might have toughed it out, but when the server came around to take our drink order, then came back to tell us they were out of stock on the one draught which was on special that we actually like, that was it. Two strikes in 5 minutes, gotta leave. I'm sure the 20's something's crowd love it, music blaring. The tunes were good. Just monstrously loud like a dance club instead of a pub. Nice big TV's, service (greeting and drink order) was prompt. Place was clean.

I enjoy it here. I would go again. Good food with different menu options from other pubs and sports bars type. I love how they have lamb stew and meat pies. I went on a weekday where it was buy 1 appetizer and get another for free. I had the wings cos i love wings and I ordered the quesadillas. Super cheesy and scrumptious. My MIL had a burger and didnt finish it so I wanted to take the patty back for my puppies. The really nice wait staff threw in an extra patty for me. The second time i happened to go on wing night. Wings again. Yippee! It was i believe 4.50CAD for a pound. I got the lemon pepper and garlic parm. Lemon pepper was yum. The garlic parm was oozing oil...... :( thats why they get 4 instead of 5 stars. Ilike how they have outdoor seating. Perfect for summer months.

Wednesdays is the only time to go as far as I'm concerned. Their wings are good for sure. I've been there for lunch a few times and I don't know if it's the same cook each time or what but it's not a lunch I want to pay for. The service isn't exactly up to participate we only saw one girl who didn't seem particularly interested in serving two girls vs the men in the place. Going in after work seems to be better for food and service.

We have been here a few times over the past 4 years and when we first started eating there we thought the food was pretty tasty . The service is "meh" at best . During the summer my friend and I tried to have lunch on the deck 3 times and two of the 3 we left the premise . We had lunch one of these times inside because , AGAIN, the deck was closed ... and mine was barely edible . The brisket is sloppy and is so over sauced it's almost impossible to eat. The menu is highly priced for the quality of food and trying to get the waitress"s attention when there are men at the bar or having lunch , is ridiculous ! Women tip too! I'm actually a chronic " over tipper " but asking 3 times for water and not getting a glass until the 3 Rd request as our food arrived is unacceptable . As far as I'm concerned the only thing this place has going for it is the deck, however you can't get the full menu up there ( again ridiculous ) and it's rarely open ! If they had it open at lunch and actually had service , I could almost find something to eat that would be over priced but edible ... or just sit on the deck and have a drink . Either way , this place continues to disappoint and after a birthday party I attended there last fall, I decided I'm done going there ... until summer . They get one more chance to have the deck open. If it's not , I'll find another deck with good food and service .

Came here for wings on two different occasions. The first time was so awesome, although it was packed our server was great and came by often to give us updates since our food was taking a bit longer. The second time, the server was terrible. She wasn't friendly at all and was sort of rude actually, we had to flag her down or ask another server to get our server to ask for refills, another round of orders and the bill. Truthfully, if I was seated in her area again, I'd asked to be moved to a different section and I'd wait if I had to.

This local pub has a great menu. We were especially impressed with the bartenders ability to pour a pint of Guinness. The decor and furniture could use some upgrading but it's a nice place to go to for a drink and a bite to eat.

We can't wait to go again when the weather warms up. The patio is great. Staff were awesome. Food was delightful. Drinks were good. Was there again in October when it was cold and the main floor was quite open and it was a tiny bit loud - not terrible though. Reasonable prices and good service.

Met a friend for lunch and was impressed. I had Shepherds Pie and a salad and my friend had Chicken wings and garlic bread. The Shepherds Pie was the best I ever had and with a Beer to wash it down, was excellent. The service was excellent and this will be my go to place in Airdrie.

We missed lunch due to shopping and visiting so needed a snack and a drink before travelling for supper. This location is handy off of Highway #2, east side Airdrie. Lots of parking in the area due to many shopping stores available. We shared the wings , dry ribs plus stuffed mushrooms caps. The Caesar's were perfectly poured and the food came in quick fashion. The bar sits in the middle with tables and booths surrounding the bar that basically has high tables and chairs. There are loads of TV's and stools at the bar. It would appear there are a lot of regulars who sit at the bar. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We did not try the stuffed Yorkshire pudding appy, but I did get a peak at it going by. That is a huge order and would be well enough for three people let alone two. I look forward to going back and trying the lunch or supper offering.

Stopped in for lunch today with my eldest son. It was our first visit.It's a very nice atmosphere. Nice woodwork, lots of TV's, good-sized comfortable booths, etc.I had the Turkey Club wrap - it was quite tasty with a really nice honey-mustard mayo that was JUST right. I also had a side salad.My son enjoyed a burger - it was served on a nice fresh brioche bun and he described it as 'really good beef'. Everything was served up exactly as we ordered, plated and presented well, and overall it was a really good experience.If only they served Coke instead of Pepsi, I'd give them 'Excellent' instead of 'Very Good'. But that's pretty minor. :)

Three of us ladies meet couple times a year to enjoy brunch and a visit at the Toad N Turtle. This past Tuesday we decided to meet and have lunch at 12:30. The service was very good, our food was excellent. Our waitress was very attentive. My comment would be to the Manager of the restaurant. All three of us were a bit taken back by the very...very...short skirt the waitress was wearing...is this necessary for business?...she leaned over at the next table to collect dishes and you could see the checks of her bare butt. Not something we want to see at lunch time.

We love going to the Toad and Turtle as their good, especially their appetizers are excellent. If you don't mind noisy - it is a pub - then go for supper. They have different specials each night of the week. If you want the same great food but a quieter atmosphere then go for lunch.

They were able to accommodate a group of 16 people in the late afternoon, on Thursday. We forgot to call ahead for a reservation, or just to let them know that we plan to stop by. They put 4 tables together, in a row, and moved a few of their umbrellas to provide some shade.The one waiter was great in getting our drink and food orders, making the drinks, and serving too. He did have some help, but did most of this on his own. We ordered all sorts of drinks, ranging from virgin margaritas, sodas, beer, cocktails, and their specialty drinks. I had ordered a Golfer Bullfrog, which has Vodka, iced tea, lemonade with an upside down Smirnoff Ice. In rounds 2-3, others ordered one as well.They are unable to serve the TnT Platter on the patio, because the weight of the platter is too much to bring up the stairs. So we ordered 2 orders of nachos and 6-8 orders of chicken wings, twice! There is plenty of free parking in the parking lot

With 6 friends there was not one complaint regarding the food. Their specials for the day and the regular menu were both great. They have a lovely view of the mountains from the upper level. Although it is north of the city of Calgary, it's worth the drive.

The Toad N Turtle has plenty of domestic, imported and craft beers to choose from. There are ample parking spots, lots of tables, plus a private room for booking. The food makes an attempt to be upscale, aligned with California-fusion, thought the price and quality don't match as it is very pricey for lunch specials. Additionally, if you book the private room it is based on a set menu according to a number of people you have attending. Once again, way-way overpriced.

This place has continued to disappoint me. I've reluctantly visited this place more than i would care for and every time the service has gotten worse , the food just as poor. I suggest going to any other restaurant in the area then this one. Unless you like rude staff who very well might yell at you or ignore yo completely and food under cooked. The only redeeming quality is the roof top patio , but you better go quick cause they like to shut it down almost immediately after sunset.

my family and i go here just about everyother Wednesday for there wing night specials. The food here is great along with the staff and pricing. highly recommend this place.

I am in the process of moving to Airdrie and decided to try the Toad N Turtle for dinner. I noticed that they have specials every night. I asked our server what was the best choice or the most favourite dish...her answer was everything is very good. I found it hard to believe that everything is "the Best" We had 2 appies choices as they are on special on Sunday. They were quite good the beef dip was OK, the beef barley soap was average. Our service was very good...she would always stop back and check to see how we were doing.

Just around the corner from the Comfort Inn we met with family and supped a Wildrose North American IPA which was hoppy but tasty (my wife always sticks to red wine - Jackson Triggs Cab/Sauv, not her favorite). I had heard a lot about the Maui ribs and I wasn't disappointed. What a wonderful yet messy appie, great for sharing but I didn't, hands off my ribs!! My wife enjoyed the chicken wings and we both followed up with a burger which seemed to be made from a preformed commercial patty. Server was polite and prompt and the washrooms were clean.

I really enjoy the service and the menu hear great margaritas and their Stew is amazing. The upper deck is beautiful with mountain views . In the evening the music is quite loud. Excellent menu

A bunch of us went for lunch and everyone was happy with their meals - that's a miracle. The menu has enough variety for everyone. The prices were fair and service was good.

We went there for supper. Service was good, nothing exceptional. Ordered starter of Yorkshire Pudding. It was barely and I mean barely warm. Shepherd's pie was the entree. The menu said, served with seasonal vegetables. Well the meat mixture was frozen peas, carrots & corn. But it was hot. So noisy with TV's blaring, I could not hear my partner or he me! Many other places in Airdrie with a better Menu selection and food from which to choose.

I've been to the Toad and Turtle many time but finding recently it's gone down hill, the food is hit and miss, the service is poor, even heard the server complaining that she was suppose to be finish her shift but had to finish serving her table. My friend found something in her drink

While the food was ok the service is very slow. When we arrived it was pretty empty although it seemed like there were lots of servers. Our waitress missed a few things with our order and didn't really check on us until we were done.

This is our neighborhood place until the new pub gets set up so we have been a bunch of times. Food is OK, never horrible, never outstanding - just OK. Prices are on par with other pubs in town but the specials are not that great - there are wings on Wed at a good price. WE had the nachos last time and they were not 'loaded' at all. A heap of banana peppers on top of chips and very little cheese. We won't have those again.Overall it's a good pub to talk as the music is not blasting and there aren't a million tv screens. Great servers and the summer patio is really nice.

I love going there for the nachos and Maui Ribs and a few beers. The service is always great and fast. It can be a little loud on Fridays and Saturday evening cause the place packs up quick. But all around great food. Cheers!

Stopped in for a quick Beverage and snack. The Beer selection was very good. The service was very attentive. What impressed me the most was how the servers worked as a team. There was no "this is not my table" mentality. The wings were excellent. The pricing was very fair. I would definitely recommend this pub.

We had been hearing good things about this place so we decided to go here for a double date. The food was barely edible. The service was really poor... and it was not at all busy in this place! We waited 15 minutes for a drink! I had a Spinach salad that was quite literally spinach on a plate! For the price (which was pricey at over $11) I could of bought a whole bag of it, and put it on a plate with dressing, a few craisins, and a few nuts. I was very disappointed with it. We told the server of our disappointment with the food, but nothing was done. She did not care. Needless to say we have not gone back.

Don't know what the hype about this place is. My friend met me here and the food was not good. The beer was good. But just seemed like any average Irish pub

Favorites are the pizza and the beef dip. Good burgers too. Only complaint is that they don't have a full menu on the rooftop patio.

It's our go to place for Wednesday wing night. The best in the west. Lots to choose from and friendly service too. Get in by 530 or loose out to waiting for a table.

I ordered the Turkey Havarti Sourdough Sandwich, and it was worth the wait. I was hungry and facing a long drive, so the portion was excellent and adequate.

Friendly welcome from the hostess. Our server seemed impatient initially. Not over the moon impressed. Average(at best) good and drinks.

A large group of us shared a private room for a 50th birthday party! The hosts had appetizers served to their guests and they were wonderful. Great food, great drinks, & great service throughout the entire evening. By the way, my server was Amanda - and she is fantastic. We are a loud, boisterous but friendly group and her service was impeccable! There was another great server attending our group - unfortunately I didn't catch her name. I spoke with the hosts of the party and they couldn't say enough good things about how they were treated throughout the planning sessions and the event. I don't often do reviews but when there is a place out there that goes above and beyond I think people should know!! Thank you to Toad & Turtle for a really fun evening! Looking forward to coming back soon! I live in Red Deer so it will be our new favourite stopping place when we are heading south.

Stopped in for a bite to eat on a Saturday afternoon. We were promptly seated and menus given. The waitress was friendly and attentive. The menu has a wide variety of choices to choose from and there is a wide selection of beer (although we had coffee since we had a way to drive yet). Our food arrived promptly and the food was tasty. As an appetizer I tried the Maui Ribs, which were good but a little expensive. Our waitress forgot to bring a coffee refill, but she was busy, and did apologize. In all we were pleased with the experience and will return.

In my opinion...Been here twice for lunch. Ambiance is nice and service was pretty decent. It was busy both times and somewhat noisy. It was difficult to hear what we each had to say. The chef, I believe, came out to ask us how our meal was. To which we answered was very good. And it was. Overall it's a nice place. Certainly not the worst place in town.

The Toad has become our regular, once a week, after work haunt. The place has a great "neighbourhood pub" feel to it. The servers at the Airdrie location are excellent. They are friendly and attentive, very personable. The food is the best "pub food" in Airdrie by far. The Loaded Toad Burger is great, the meats are all smoked in-house, and the Maui Ribs are fantastic. My only complaint is that they stopped carrying Fat Tire Ale on tap.

We went there last month and the place was packed. We got seated next to the bar and people were walking all around us, we couldn't hear each other over the music and people talking loud. It isn't my favorite place but we go because the food is good so if you don't mind the noise, then it is a great place. Sometimes the service is a bit slow.

Had lunch here as a party of four, and found the place very comfortable and reminiscent of pubs and sports lounges from my youth. My Cuban sandwich was the bomb! Had to take half of it 'to go' even. Wings were good as well. Service good. Food was good. No minors. Outdoor terrace. I'll certainly return for a dinner during the playoffs.

I was here on a business dinner and we didn't feel like sitting in a restaurant. We chose this place and got to sit on the upstairs patio which was kinda cool. Service was awesome. She recommended a couple different foods which we ended up ordering, and they were great. I'm definitely coming back for sure. Great place.

Food was pretty good, great selection of beer on tap, and other alcohols. Not a big fan of the different menu on the roof top. Might work well for others though, worth a try that's for sure!

Drinks are good but maybe a bit expensive. Food is not anything to write home about. They did have a grilled cheese bite appy but got rid of it. Patio is amazing.

Haven't been here for about a year as we got turned off by the service and food back then. We thought it was time to try it again. Went here with friends for dinner, service was definitely lacking. Food was cold when it came. Half order of poutine was about 12 fries for 8 bucks. Flat bread was so small and so flat you could see thru it and cold also. It will be at least another 2 years before I try it again.

Foods good, service is good. Great draught beer selection but without the tartan skirts its just another pub

We love coming to the Toad mostly because it's one of the only places in Airdrie that doesn't allow kids.(And yes I have 2 of my own) When you want to unwind after a long day of work the last thing I want to see is kids running around or crying....here you don't have to deal with it. Food is always great. They have some of the best wings ever which keeps us coming on Wednesdays where wings are 40 cents each. Service is great...never have to wait for anything. I especially love Nadine. Thanks for a great place to unwind.

Food was bland and service was not friendly. Maybe our waiter was hoping for extra tips for drink service. Very disappointed. The pub in NE Calgary always was good.

Visiting Airdrie on business, we were looking for a place to eat that had a good variety. Two nights in a row we ended up at the Toad N Turtle. The first night, I had to beefed up with garlic potatoes on the side. While the pretzel bun was delicious, the beef was a little dry. Fortunately lots of delicious au jus was provided so all was well. Absolutely love the garlic mashed taters on the side!Today I had the chicken quesadilla, which was also very good. A very good source of cheddar cheese, and once again I had an additional side of the garlic mashed potatoes.I will definitely return to this location the next time I am in Airdrie.

Have been here many times, love the concept. Great atmosphere, however, it quickly loses it's lustre as soon as you order. Bartenders are not trained, and are unable to mix cocktails, and are only able to pour beer. Asked for a Moscow mule, was met with a blank stare. Ordered a whiskey sour, which was cheap rye and bar lime for $7.50. Very disappointing when one wants to relax with a nice drink. Food is mediocre at best, and most options are bland, greasy, and uninspired. Won't be back, which is a shame because the concept is fine.

The Airdrie "Toad" has never let me down. From a cold beer and an appetizer on a Saturday afternoon to a meal out with friends. The food is always good and the servers very warm and at tentative. The only caution I have is that you are planning on eating between 6:00 and 8:00 on a Friday or Saturday evening you may have a short wait.

I have come to the Toad N Turtle many times, and I have never been disappointed with any of it. Good service, good food, good atmosphere, love how the servers all joke around with each other. Makes it feel more comfortable.

Great food, atmosphere and warm, friendly staff. Stumbled upon this place by chance and will be making it my regular spot!

Most people are unaware that during the summer months, this place has an upstairs patio with a completely different menu. Next time try it! Will not disappoint.

Been here a few times and the wings were really decent. Had a few staff functions and they always accommodated us. Good lookin staff and friendly.

Went for our anniversary - meet a few friends. Had a great time. Food and service was fantastic. We had the bison burger and coconut shrimp - delicious. The only one complaint is that there was a hockey game on and no music. I understand that it is a sports bar - but turn on a bit of background music for those not watching the game perhaps.

We enjoy our Saturday brunch at Toad N Turtle. Service is good, meal arrives in a timely fashion and the food is always good.

More for younger people ,noisy just limited sport on all screens ,i enjoy ice hockey ,but hate the crappy football ,proper football is played in England

We were recently in Airdrie, Alberta and decided to have supper at the Toad and Turtle. We had great service and our meal was excellent. The establishment is well decorated and it is a great environment for a wonderful night out!

... and stayed for the drinks. Nice atmosphere. Staff were good, drinks were good. We didn't eat this time, but the food has been good in previous visits.

I ate at TnT pub when it first opened and was less than satisfied with a number of things on that visit, However, they've improved since then and have bumped up service and food quality, making my 2nd visit much more enjoyable.I enjoyed a turkey club wrap with side of quinoa salad. The food was tasty and service was very good. We (work colleagues) ate on the terrace upstairs which allowed us to enjoy the warm sunshine and view of the Rockies along the western horizon.The music was still loud, but because we were outside the volume was bearable.One thing diners should note: the upstairs terrace menu is limited because they have a separate kitchen which isn't equipped to handle some of the regular menu items. As a result, house specials are not included on upstairs menu.

We've eaten at the Airdrie Toad & Turtle at least 6 times. We usually go for brunch and have found the food good and the service quick and friendly. We enjoy the weekend breakfast special and have always been pleased with the amount of food and the quality. Only one complaint would be the jam for the toast. The little packets on the last two Saturday visits have been dry and the texture of shoe leather. This was mentioned to the server on our one visit. The last time was the same...I opened 6 little packets and left them all on my plate and mentioned it to her again....same comment..."oh I will tell the manager". Have not been back...we went to Eggsoasis for our brunch last Saturday in Airdrie.

I wouldn't recommend this place. We have been three times and will not be returning. The service is very hit or miss. The atmosphere is good. The only time I would go here is for drinks after work. The food is overpriced for what you get.

We went for a birthday party and were surprized at how good the food was. The Calamari was awesome! we be back soon!

As a Scot living in Canada, it becomes a little tiresome that these themed restaurants try to be Scottish/Irish! The food was tasty and plentiful but if you don't like burgers then there's little other choice. The staff were friendly, but I won't be hurrying back.

This is a great pub that's been open in Airdrie for around a year. It's located just off Deerfoot and Yankee Valley, behind the Tim Horton's. I've been there several times, usually on weekend afternoons and a few times on Friday night after work. The service has always been excellent, the young women prompt, friendly and attentive. The food is generally very good too - the tossed salad with salmon is great, the burgers very generous and the lemon pepper chicken wings are to die for - the tang of lemon zest with the salt makes them irresistible. The TnT has a great selection of beers as well. So why the "average" rating? The place is Screaming LOUD!! When the music and/or TVs are turned down, patrons' voices echo off all the hard surfaces and there is a loud but OK hum. But the music is generally cranked way too high (with a crappy selection of recent pop) and you have to yell to be heard over it, which raises the overall noise level to somewhere around Airbus 380 warming up 20 feet away. We just give up on trying to have a conversation; we eat our food and drink our beer as quickly as we can and leave. This is not a place to relax and linger over a couple of beers unless you have the lungs of Celine Dion and are good at reading lips. This would be my favorite place in Airdrie if they would just turn the noise down and put in some noise dampening equipment like wall hangings or carpets. As it is, if there are more than 20 people in the place I just turn around and find somewhere else to go, and now that there is a new pub getting ready across the road by Rob's no Frills it won't be hard. Please, TnT Manager, turn the noise DOWN!!

Horrible! Don't waste your money. Counted literally 12 flies at our table, waitress told us not to bother moving as "the flies just follow the food, and it's just as bad at all other tables" disgusting! Service was bad, and food wasn't great (flavorless)

Not much to say. I think they just need to step it up. Everyone is super friendly and it's clean. The good is not great and it was slow.
