This KFC is one of the best around the Glasgow area. As a regular visitor from Airdrie, I particularly enjoy the quality of the chicken and coffee. However, during my last visit, hot drinks were unfortunately unavailable. One issue I’ve noticed is with the parking area: many customers leave their high beams on while eating in their cars. This can be quite bothersome, especially when I have toddlers in the car, as the bright lights are very uncomfortable for them.

The attitude from the drive thru staff is shocking. Don't expect customer service as you recognize it. Instead be prepared for a condescending tone, impatience, and slow service. I'd recommend you visit any other branch instead of going here unless you enjoy being rushed and spoken down to. And forget about asking any questions about the menu or the items on offer, or even if anything is unavailable, because then the drive through staff get indignant and brusque. The food is okay.

Stay well clear especially ordering of uber eats full wrong order and now need to re-order elsewhere but usual driver blames shop and shop blame uber eats....😡😡😡😡😡😡😡..

This place is rubbish, like the rest of the reviews they always leave items out. The one at the Glasgow east is the same. No other restaurants do this with such frequency so I can only assume they do it deliberately just to annoy people. Guess that’s how you get a laugh when you leave skool at 16 with no future prospects.

Sick of things missing from my orders, through just eat there is no comeback on the restaurant, need to report to just eat then wait 7 days for them to investigate it. Doesn't help at night when one person has to go hungry through not getting their order. Shocking service although the food that you do get has improved slightly on recent years.

It was pretty quiet when I last visited here so you would expect the food to be piping hot but sadly it wasn't but never mind it won't put me off from visiting again

Got a meal.for one and they didn't ask which dip I would prefer and automatically served it with gravy without asking me when I would have preferred beans which according to the pic was also an option. Gravy was poor substitute and after one small taste I threw it away. Peach tea was nice though.

Linda at the drive through Magee my day. Also made chips fresh without seasoning no problem. Food was bang on aswell. Freaked me out when people posted raw chicken pics but my food was exactly what you expect from kfc. Hit the spot

Well done KFC coatbank street in Coatbridge. For the third time on a trot you got the order wrong again, if there was an award for this you would definitely come in first, every time you either get the order wrong or there will be something missing. Always manage to charge for the full order though. PGood job guys. 5 stars for consistency. 🙄

i came here to get some food and i got a sprite whitch was flat! then my bbq bites had little to no sauce on them and were freezing cold, the girl on the window had her airpod in and and told us there was no crushems whike drinking one herself then slammed the window in our face when i asked her to change my flat sprite

Food was good. Our machine we used didn't have the receipt printed out. But easy to order from them. Bit hard to find as the road you go down in the evening is a bit small and dark. Used my special offer from the app to get the bucket for one. Had to order twice so I could get two of them. Other than that. Pretty easy

Don’t order from here they rip you off by not fulfilling your order and you end up paying £16 for 2 bits of chicken and a coke. Order from the showcase if you can

Ordered Takeaway through just eat (first mistake) multiple missing items phoned the “restaurant” to be told come and get them, if i was able to ya helmet i wouldnt have ordered a delivery

Food is pretty hit or miss as all KFC tends to be so like that’s forgivable, Staff are nice and friendly so that makes up for it Id say, Quiet usually which is pretty nice, Not a very loud place

Food was ok although just made do with order that was wrong. Empty takeaway but strewn with rubbish and dirty tables. Staff too busy chatting to care for presentation of the shop.

-5 stars Never order from KFC in Coatbridge used just eat and only got half and order when rung up about it I was given a excuse by them saying that refund the difference I will be getting trading standards involved the place deserves to be shut down had to order something else from somewhere else for my friends 5 year old daughter shame on them

Attitude of the woman that just served my partner at the drive thru was absolutely disgusting! 11:45 on 19/4/23. She was very arrogant when advised we had the app she was like “could you not have told me that when making the order!?” She is one lucky woman as she was ready to get a good hard slap! No one speaks to my partner of over a decade like that!!

Got a kfc and took one bite out my wrap then I seen all the rats running around. I felt sick to the stomach. Place is disgusting. I was in coatbridge another night before these photos where taking and there was about 200 in between two fences but I didnt think of taking a video or photo but it's the most riddled place I have ever seen. I feel sorry for the workers having to go into that bin area where the rats are getting there food source from. I would rather beg on the streets.

There was 100s of rats in between the fences crawling all over the top of each other at the bins area and when i say 100s I mean 100s

I love a good KFC but there has always been issues with our drive through food. We ordered the vegan burger. Once we were home we opened our boxes to find one of the burgers was half made..... don't know how the staff can miss half a bun. Staff tend to look like they can't be bothered, which is probably how they missed half the bun was missing. This is not the first time I've been and the order is incorrect or food is missing.

Can't say anything about food ,only coffee, but the time to wait for 3 coffees was a bit long.

Last time I was here the words fast food did not apply took about 20 from ordering to gettin my food ,tonight a whole lot better in n out in jig time, I live 2 miles away and my food was still hot by the time I got home ,so well done team for getting your act together.

This KFC is terrible! Always hit and miss if you're going to get the right order delivered! And can never contact the restaurant! 3 chips missing tonight, so no point in having the garlic mayo and gravy. Never again, lesson learnt.

There employees clearly can not read as every order I get is smothered with mayo which I am allergic to even when asked for no sauce it's mayo another 19 quid in the bin someone is gonna sue or worse die due to there incompetence

Fairly quick and good service. Order made up correctly and not dripping with fat, fries are not my personal favourite but overall it was good experience 👍

Update: fecking disgraceful, too busy Chatting to take orders at drive thru Had to take my order at collection window, then forced to park. Food arrived 10 minutes later missing chips, thought that was terrible, got home to find my wrap was a skiddle of salad, 1 small chicken piece halfed and a small blob of mayo. Not going back. This KFC is one of if not the worst I've ever been in most staff are lazy, rude and inattentive, The cleanliness is terrible you just have took look at the floor. The place needs to be better managed. Including new managers, I have had to complain many times. One particular issue was a price raise, however the prices on the menu board weren't changed, manager refused to accept fault. Its saving grace is the food it tastes great, although pretty much everything is "deep fat fried" anyway not exactly difficult in assembling which is messy at the best of times . You have to suppress your thoughts on the behind the counter cleanliness before you eat. If your in need of a KFC fix I'd suggest Hamilton Palace Grounds Store. 7 miles away.

What you would expect from a KFC. Order electronically, take receipt and a number, find a seat and wait for your number to come up. Fast and impersonal but that's what you expect.

I do like a good kfc. The food this visit was piping hot and fresh. Normally I go in to collect as drive thru can be slow but not this time. The vast number of delivery drivers meant it took about 20 minutes to get my food after ordering. Used the touchscreens to order and scanned my app to get the kfc deals. All worked like a charm. Just need to increase their efficiency in the food preparation.

I feel with KFC it's either fresh and delicious, or stale and.. well.. a disappointment. Unfortunately this KFC seems to mostly be the latter

Absolute sheer incompetence. Literally every single time I order its wrong. They don't have a plain option in the menus and if you put it in the advice for the resteraunt. They'll read it HIGHLIGHT IT and then still manage to get it wrong. When you phone they'll tell you to refund on just eat ( can take up to 7 days ) and then re order. Genuinely think someone who's stone cold dead could use their brain better. Incompetent monkeys

Just picked up a KFC, was happily eating the food and spotted a dead fly on the batter of the chicken. Nearly spewed! Disgusting! Won’t be back.

I go to few kfcs but coatbridge is the best by far !!! Big portions an great service, I always ask for the hot fresh chicken out the oven an that I get, great team an fast service.

I was in with my partner and sister today 3/6/22 and our meals where disgusting the chips tasted weird and if I wanted a mini zinger burger I would have asked for that and the boneless box meal was awful 3tiny wee strips of chicken and large fries that where smaller than the normal ones all in all im bitterly disappointed with kfc I won’t be back..BIG PRICES for SMALL PORTIONS it’s disgraceful…

Don't go to the drive through they never get your order right

Gents toilet had NO toilet tissues and most waste bins were overflowing. When ordering was advised that they had NO hot drinks! After stating that they had no hot drinks on our last visit the attitude changed to the machine be cleaned. He would check with the Manager. We eventually received a hot latte during eating our meal. Poor poor show! Doubt if we will ever visit again!

Staff. They behave badly. There are many mistakes. They are tired. My appetite was ruined by their bad behavior.

This place never get it right on my just eat order. Really wouldn’t recommend. Usually you don’t get your full order. Mostly there is Always something missing. Tonight I did get everything I ordered however the wrap I had ordered had the mayo completely drenched at the very top & the rest completely dry. Come on guys, really ?? Very poor. No one eats there food like that. Really need to learn my lesson with this place. Only reason I keep using is delivery is normally quick as close by

The worst KFC I have ever had the misfortune to visit. It is that bad that we travel to any other KFC to get food even though this one is just round the corner. Avoid if you can possibly. The food is awful, the service is so SLOW, the place is disgustingly dirty inside and the staff are atrocious. One star is far too kind!

We should have learned our lesson but this place is absolutely shocking! Not only were replacement items sent without any communication - which is against the law under the new Natasha’s Law and anyone in the food industry should know this(!)- there were items also missing and nobody answers the phone! The food was stone cold, chicken was rubbery and absolutely not worth the hiked prices!!

****EDIT***** Just ordered from here again and once more disappointment. You can say more fool us but it has been a while and thought we would give them another chance. They got the order wrong this time. They may have been out of stock of certain items but nobody phoned to say "sorry its not in stock". Not only did they not do this but they tried to "replace" items with gravy and beans... 3 tubs of gravy going to waste and we didn't order the beans. Please look up natashas law and note that if the customer has not ordered an item then they cannot receive a replacement without acknowledging the allergens. Furthermore when attempting to rectify the situation they are not answering their phone. Not just missing the call, but blatantly no attempt to answer. So now we are hungry and disappointed. Again. If the food was served hot rather than stale and verging on warm then it would be worth the money. But it wasn't. Ive always liked the food here but the last time my wife and I were there we were sorely disappointed by the lack of heat and how stale the chips were

Was in Coatbridge KFC on Saturday nite the 19)2/22 what a shambles it was after placing our order the girl that served us didn't have a clue what she was doing after 20 mins waiting for our order I had to asked if it was ready she then went in to ask if we had ordered sides and drinks wich we had it was 2 meals we had ordered then she tried to give us the sided in a different bag I asked where the burger were she said it would be another 5 mins which I replied our sides would be cold it had to take someone else to do our order come on kfc no way to treat paying customers get your staff sorted out

Waited age's on a wrap 15 minutes got home no dip with the bonles meal and the chips were not cooked. Had to go in for the wrap and the bonles meal was cold.

Several items out of stock. Soft drink lacked fizz. Chips were cold. Boneless chicken ok. SECOND VISIT 10 DAYS LATER: Because I was in the Coatbridge area again and also because I have had 2 substandard experiences at a near by McDonald’s I opted to visit KFC again. Experience was no better than my previous visit. There were no fizzy soft drinks available. No corn on the cob available. I therefore had boneless chicken and chips. The chicken portions were small but acceptable. To me they seemed over salty. Strange because in a franchise chain you would expect the food to look and taste the same at different locations and this stuff did not seem the same as I get from my local KFC at Great Western Retail Park in Glasgow. Anyway, chicken was acceptable but the chips were not; they were cold, soggy and soft… and this from a company which specifically redesigned their chips to make them better than rival chains. Poor show for KFC Coatbridge and for that matter it’s near competitor McD. I won’t be visiting either place again. PS the chips were flung out the car window… may be the birds will eat them. I’ve down graded my review from ⭐️⭐️ to ⭐️ only because this place is consistently poor.

Just had an original 4 piece meal from here , utterly rank , def the worst KFC. I have had in years , the skin was as soggy a wet day in Greenock and like chewing gum , after 2 half eaten pieces it went in the bin 🤮

Honestly the WORST KFC you'll ever order from. Never any corn on the cobb, and the last time I ordered they asked what drink I wanted and when I said "Tango" they replied, "we only have sparkling water or fruit shoot." FRUIT SHOOT?!? Then when we got the order home it was missing stuff and they'd got the sides wrong. Utterly useless. Go to the one at the Showcase instead.

Order wrong yet again, with items missing. I’ve contacted customer services previously because of missing items and they don’t respond. Currently the drive thru is open but when ordering through the app this option isn’t available. Picture of large fries, box wasn’t even full. The car park wouldn’t look out of place in Beruit. So I’ve learned my lesson this time and won’t be back to any KFC as customer service doesn’t care and neither does the store.

Hi walking into this kfc was like dancing on ice. The tiles were so slippy ....greasy. It was cold inside not very welcoming. Our food was average no plates with food no cups with juice and no napkins......won't be back sorry.
