Just ordered a king kebab to split between my husband and I and its cold. Not sure I'd order again. I've had to heat it up.

Ordered through just eat an item was missing and a pizza was missing the toppings that I also paid extra for. Also ordered chicken spring rolls but instead got lamb spring rolls and lamb samosa's What did arrived still tasted great and was delivered in good time it's just a shame that the order had so many issues

Foods always hot and tasty. Staff are always friendly too.

Only started using this place recently and now my go to place for takeaway. All food tried so far has been excellent, never any issues with missing items and deliveries on time.

Best spicy mince pizza i've had by far and chicken pakora was top notch!

We regularly get takeaways from Spice of Life. They are reliable, with fast delivery times and excellent food. In four years we’ve only ever had one problem, which was rectified straightaway. I would highly recommend Spice of Life.

I love the food here but unfortunately they keep getting order wrong or something is missing. We have never reported it as it’s too much hassle but a lot of the time we will order a veg curry and a chicken curry and they get them mixed up! So my lactose free hubby ends up Having to eat my curry because his veg curry has cream in it. Not good if you’re vegan or lactose intolerant!! The food is tasty just wish they would get orders right and check before they send them out

Used this place several times, was happy with food and quality. The one time they served me substandard food, clearly not as described on the menu - I was told to go elsewhere. Will never be back. £27 for dog food, wrong and no apologies forthcoming. The “meat” feat… apparently the meat is hidden!

Tried spice of life for the first time tonight got a dinner calzone and have to say it was the best calzone I've had

First time ordering via just eat, the kababs ( which were a large each ) was amazingly, tender meat and very succulent to eat, the salad was lovely (individually in bags) and the nanbread was lovely, perfect meal, delivery was prompt and the driver was friendly, overall a amazing experience for a lovely meal.

Ordered a kebab meal which is a large kebab and chips. Portion of chips was only 1/4 a portion of chips.i didn't expect a full portion but this was pitiful. Take my custom elsewhere from now on

Been going here since high school, sure it’s changed hands a couple of times since then but the food has always been great, amazing portion sizes and prices are good too! Staff are always friendly and your order is usually ready really quickly too, I’d definitely recommend!

Phenomenal pizzas, great curries! Very fair pricing. I cannot recommend more. Staff are all very friendly and greet you when you walk in.

Foods is average but always without fail forget part of order I really wish they would address this and make more of an effort, last night was the final straw for me, nice meal but no juice and by time juice arrived meal was cold, it's really disappointing I wouldn't mind a one off but it's every single time we order, unfortunately won't be ordering again. Update: Tried again 16/04/22 and once again let down today's error was a special burger which consisted of 3 bland burgers with no sauce or salad even though requested it, thought everywhere deserves another chance oh well never again 😐 some special looking burger that is 🤷, pakoras dry, pizza base also poor quality, I hope you do get it together one day 😔 02/2023: tried a few times this month standards definitely improved and quality better and not forgetting things either excellent 👍

Omg spice of life is up there!! Got a massive Donner kebab salad sauce separate separate chips which were better than Chinese chips and that's saying something better in a bag than a tub loved that and they were epic chips 😍 food was excellent and the service spot on Only had so much cash on me sack just eats and uber order direct best food iv had in a long time helped me through ma order and speedy delivery ditch the online orders order direct well worth it well done spice of life. Food was amazing 😍

Delightful family run fast food shop. Fast and friendly service. Delicious quality food (I've yet to have a bad/ low quality meal or a messed up/wrong order anyway). Unfortunately I did order the wrong meal last time and they were very helpful and kind when I called about that. Unfortunately, as the mistake was mine and I'd already paid and left the shop, they were unable to replace it. Which is totally understandable. We are regulars and will continue to recommend. Keep up the great work 🙏.

Just had the most disgusting meal ever kebab meat was greasy and had a funny taste ordered spicy chicken pizza got a sloppy cheesy chicken pizza half the cheese was like squirty cheese no tomato sauce certainly not spicy. Tried phoning constantly engaged

Delivered twice after a complaint regarding first order .....order was re-sent missing chips and sauce 45 mins later and the pizza was worse than the first time......so she went bed hungry.

Shambles. First delivery and it was late, missing items I paid for and sent a tub of kebab sauce I didn't order (pizza) which didn't have the lid properly on and spilled everywhere over new couch, rug and clothes when opening the delivery.

A regular Friday order … normally quite prompt Ordered online at 16.40 … email said 17.07 delivery Foned at 17.20 .. told 15 mins as app causing problems Foned again at 17.45 … told “soon” Not satisfactory Arrived at 17,56 Food lukewarm … ice cream melted, just cream The delivery should have been priority after my 17.20 call but was obviously last in the driver’s round Dreadful service You may well be losing a regular customer I have a dietary issue and NEED to eat at certain times or I have problems … which I had Well annoyed

Usually a big fan of Spice of Life, but tonight felt over charged and very disappointed! Ordered 2 Lamb tikka Kebabs and a Chicken chatt starter! £28 inc delivery. Arrived promtly, starter looked great, but opening kebabs we had a plain small nan with 8 pieces of very well fired lamb bits on inside(paid extra for large😳) a side portion of salad and chilli sauce, no option available! Physically could not chew lamb and even after trying to dress up with own sauces was like a bath mat and rubber ducks(all be it allegedly lamb🥴) A lot of money to be binned. Did phone to address issue, but told that we ordered large😳. Absolutel waste!

This is a really nice take out place. The pizzas were very tasty. I will definitely go there again and try other things. So far I would recommend it for the food and the price.

Food is good that isn't the problem , the problem is they continuously mess up your order ! Every single time , it's really quite annoying wanting to eat your dinner but having to wait half an hour extra for the other half of it to arrive !

Ordered a garlic chilli Chicken Nan bread and rice . The delivery bag was soaking in red grease and the garlic chilli Chicken Curry had a deep layer of oil over the top of it , the curry was also Rancid with salt so much so that i could not eat the sauce . I picked out the chicken and had that with the very large sized nan bread but the chicken was tasteless . I will not be back to this place

Wow man first time In a long time I. Ordered from the Taj as everyone knows it as our local 16 I ch pizza asked for sprite got Pepsi ffs chicken pakora git 6. Bits and chips where a handful of 27 quid jeezo I'll just wait till Asda opens next time 27 quid wow man total let down Really disappointed with this tonight never again!!!!

This take away was a favourite of ours till recently- food tonight was absolutely awful . Pakora was hard and very salty . A prawn poori was also over seasoned and used too much red ‘food colouring’ . Will not be returning.

Literally went in one end and poured out the other. Would be better off feeding it to the dog as a laxative. Also they paid me 12 quid for a three hour shift driving which doesn’t even pay ma bloody petrol. Ps the poppadums are that oot a date you can wrap them roon yer heed n hang yourself way it after the taste hits you like a brick.

Place used to be ok. Last 2 pizzas have arrived where the toppings have slid to other end of pizza. Ordered a pepperoni with onion over one half. Pizza has arrived onion on one side and all the cheese and pepperoni on the other???

Ordered chicken tikka Jaipuri, chicken tikka tandoori and a pizza 2 weeks in a row now. Their food is beautiful and very generous portions. There is loads of chicken in the curries and salad was very fresh.. defo my new favourite takeaway 👌

Went for a collection this week absolute rubbish. Waited 25 mins over my ready time. Got my food without a thanks or bye. Staff touching their hair laughing behind the counter so loud so unprofessional. There is new owners but this takeaway will go downhill. Won’t be back

First time ordered from Spice of Life and was not disappointed. Ordered a Set Meal for Two £15.95 - delivery time lengthy however under the circumstances understandable. I ordered through the Just Eat app. The food arrived fresh, hot and delicious. Would definitely use again

Ordered lamb curry on 01/03/20 lamb was tough as old boots called shop on 03/03/20 to discuss what could be done to compensate for terrible meal on the sunday was only offered free delivery .... wont make another order or recommend this Indian to others

Absolute nightmare! Ordered food at around 6ish, 1hour and a half later the food turns up, everything was freezing. Curry was the only thing that was warm, pakora was stale. Nan bread was freezing. Contacted the shop, was passed around from pillar to post constantly speaking to different people and was told that I was basically Lying and the food was absolutely fine. Wanted a full refund as I spent at least £30 on a meal. Was offered the chance for a fresh meal which would take another 1hr so declined. Women offered to drive up personally, declined as by this point it was late and I had given up. Women explained on phone a driver would be coming up to the house to pick up the food and give me my cash back. It’s now 10pm and all this has went on from 6pm. 4 hours and I’ve just been given giving my money. Phoned the shop multiple times because I had waited another hour and a half for the women to pick up the stale , colder food. Girl on phone said the women had left ages ago and yet it took an hour and a half for her to find a house? Girl came to the door, took food, didn’t say a word and didn’t even apologise or offer any sign of understanding. Will not be using again. Get the old owners back they were far better and knew how to be apologetic if needed. Absolute disgrace.

The quality of my favourite take away has gone downhill. I like spicy but last time South Indian garlic chillli tikka was too hot my guts were sore for hours the chicken was very tough more like pork. I’m questioning the freshness of the meat. I won’t order again and my son was very sick after a pizza from here a few weeks ago

Terrible customer service 2 hours for food to arrive - was a big order, was literally chips n korma sauce n potato wedges When arrived it was obvious it was reheated in the microwave or oven as the polystyrene had melted ! Phoned to complain about time waiting and ended up getting complained to !! Reception staff extremly unprofessional! and even when i asked to speak to the manager - MY LEGAL RIGHT i was refused!!! No compensation offered on top of my reheated but cold?? foods, 2 hours to arrive, unprofessional!! I was looking to order a large order for a party next week but id be as well going to farm foods.... at least there i get what i pay for and it wont be 2 hours long, reheated and then sold to me!!! Definitely telling Just eat abput this tomorrow and RECCOMEND HIGHLY NO ONE WASTES TIME OR MONEY. Will be taking matter further with appropriate agencies inc food standards and health and safety- absolutely disgraced!!

Usually go here for finger food; munchie box, chicken pokara, doner kebab etc. The food’s always very good! However, I’ve just tried the curry - my order contained three different curries - and they are among the worst curries that I’ve ever tried. Equal parts oil to sauce, not much flavour (even after trying to stir the oil back into the sauce). Gutted.0

Waited 1 1/2 hour fir 1 munchy box..not a three course meal to 5 but a Mumchiy box. Ordered through scoffsble app. I had Thought is was not going to arrive. The delivery turned up at 10.30 pm. We Did not get what was ordered. Phoned to complaine And told an hour and a half was standard waiting time. I asked why did they not phone to ask if I wanted to wait the said time for a munchy box since it was going to take so long...... No redponce but the standard waiting time blurb. I was also told that the order was correct . Will never go there again. Horrible food, poor customer service and inept staff.

So, that old saying of 'looks can be deceiving'? Absolutely true in this case. A wee hole in the wall in a local shopping precinct, but probably the best Indian in the whole of Cumbernauld and great service to boot. Worth your time and they do Haggis Pakora, which is dynamite!

Very generously sized meals, great for sharing! Good quality too. Also got free poppadoms and spiced onions with our order which was a nice bonus.

Wasn't impressed that they left out part of my order. Luckily I live round the corner so was able to go back and pick up what they didn't put in, wouldn't have been so easy if I lived further away. I was given a free bag of vegetable pakora, it would have been nice if I was asked if I even like vegetable pakora which I don't. Overall, not a pleasant customer experience!

Bought six mains - received wrong meals. Would've been 1 star except that it a busy Easter Monday. Food was okay - unlabelled and unexpected colours...

waited an hour and 40 minutes for it to come.. phoned up at the hour and 30 mark and they said it will be 10 minutes, when it came it was Stone cold, chips were soggy as if they were re-heated an hour prior.

Currently waiting for my food. Ordered over an hour ago. Trying to phone to find out where my order has got to. The phone lines have been engaged for the past 20 minutes. Not impressed.

I order from here at least once/twice a week, food is always superb, great value for money, delivery times are usually speedy, staff are very pleasant and helpfull, would definately recommend!
