my friend bit into the chicken and it wasn’t very satisfactory due to the unknown black squishy thing in the chicken i find this disgusting.

I Ordered a take-out from TJ’s London Road, Leicester on Christmas Eve for my family (5 of us). Waited a hour then got a message to say the driver could not deliver! My house is not hard today find and We were all in, plus my dog who always knows when someone’s at the door. There was no music or tv on, I was even sat near the window. I can assure you No one knocked on the door, or even approached the house and no one phoned us either - completely gutted! They have had nearly £50 of my money and we have no dinner - on CHRISTMAS EVE! Phoned TJ’s and the bloke I spoke to gave zero f**ks! He was extremely rude to me, he offered no solution (no money/no food) then had the nerve to hang up on me! I now have 3 starving teenagers. Angry is an understatement!🤬 I’m now £50 out of pocket. Was told I have to wait 10 working days for a refund. So now I cannot afford another take-out and the shops are closed. Thank you for spoiling our family Christmas Eve. Very disappointed in the lack of customer service from TJ’s and the utter disrespect I received on the telephone. I will not be ordering from them again

Just brought pizza and chips 20 min ago it's not even cooked properly it's worst food ever tasted do not eat here

Burgers were ok but the chips were greasy and overcooked ( so bad that we threw them away) and the onion rings were soggy.

My food was cold, they dont read the notes so i had a dry kebab and the coleslaw was so runny. I also had ‘cheesy chips’ with literally like 2 pieces of cheese.

Pizza toppings were a bit underdone on the pizza but other than that the food was very good. Also, they followed delivery instructions completely, delivered slightly early and the price was good.

It's been some years since I'd had a Tj's and it brought back some tasty memories

The food was nice, but they forgot one part of my order. Would definitely recommend you check everything before you leave the shop.

The burgers were vile all grisly and they came cold! I will never be ordering from here again

Pizza is really bad recently, base has an aftertaste and the cheese is basically liquid, you need to change your ingredients and or suppliers. That is definately not mozzarella.

Pizza is really bad recently, cheese is basically liquid. As a restaurant, you should taste what you make and use standard ingredients such as mozzarella cheese. Good service as always however.

Great food, lots of it as always! Left note with the order and they happily did what we asked! Would recommend and will be returning once again!

Quick food. Their veggie burgers are my favourite in Leicester. Affordable and well priced

Kebab meat good, naan stale and dry, one cheeseburger had no cheese and the other cheese burger had two bottom bun pieces. Obviously, they have inadequate or no quality control in place. I suppose, what can you expect from a take away that delivers up to 5am in the morning?

Great service. Unfortunately my order was drsy and tasteless. Probably cooked from frozen. Still would order again

Went here to pick up my order and the guys got it totally wrong. I rang and informed them of the error. The guys said dont ever come here again if you dont like the service. I paid £20 for a meal that I didnt even want very poor service. Please avoid.

Came here after trying TJ’s in Evington village expecting similar standard of service and food. Ordered quarter pounder burger meal which was £3.80 but the man insisted it was £4. Not a massive worry paying the extra 20p but misleading with 2 different prices. Collected order and asked for small pot of garlic mayo which he said was 50p but was happy to put on my chips for free. Burger had no taste to it and my girlfriend ordered the chicken burger which was one of the worst I’ve ever tasted. Good potential with the location but won’t be visiting here again. Stick to Picnic on Evington Road!

Food 40 mins late.... cold food ... no sauces when ordered them... when called told look after u next time boss... ( I'm a lady ) and just rude staff in general...lucky the hotel staff got me sauces and there was no refund for them

junk food, i had bits of hard plastic in my foo not sure what from but was disgusting and wouldn't recommend it

Absolutely terrible food if I could swear on this I would, soggy fries cold and hard pizza soggy garlic bread and watery garlic mayonnaise, and to top it of the guy at the scum of the place rang me and had the nerve to accuse me of not paying him the full amount which I did, anyone who sees this please don’t order from these else you will ruin your evening

Waited an 1 hour and 15 mins for the food to be delievered which was weird to say it was 2am we ordered which yeah is fine, but when the food came it was just disgusting. I had about 5 pieces of chicken in my sheesh kebab and all of our food was stone cold. We rang the place and they offered to send us fresh food e... the deliery man also made my friend come back to the house to put shoes on because he made her walk to the car to get the food, it was 3am!!! Wont be ordering again!

ordered creat your own pizza. and as its buy one get one free, been told that you need to mention what other pizza you want, if not, you will get a margrita. working on a pizza shop myself for past 8 years i know how it works. and menu never said they charge for green chillies, if it does, i wudn’t have mind paying extra for it. staff didnt even bothered to call and tell that they charge for chillies.when pizza got deliver it was plain chicken and sweet corn, no chicken tikka, no chillies. nothing what i asked for, and nothing what i’ve paid for. the most poor service i expected. and just as i thought, this shop is under new managment, thats just ripping people off, nothing more. will definately suggest never to order.

Appalling ordered food to be delivered to my partners workplace mix up over address staff rude delivery driver was rude & spoke to my wife like something off his shoe by the time I got food freezing cold had put in microwave waste of money DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM

The worst Pizza ive ever had in my life. Absolutely disgusting, burnt crust, yet pizza not cooked properly in the middle. Hardly any cheese. And ordered a garlic sauce which came in a tub was surely out of date becuase it didnt taste right at all. This was my 1st order i will NEVER order again. The food went straight in the bin where its worth! What a waste of my money!

great customer service - called when about to deliver, however the food on this occasion was luke warm and greasy. orders kebab mix meal, but it was mainly dinner meat. TJs are normally better than this

The food was amazing but the person who delivered was not professional as he asked to save my personal mobile number. In addition I asked for lemon slices but this was ignored.

The pizza delivery person made a rookie mistake of not keeping the pizza horizontal. all the toppings slid to a side and got stuck to the top flap of the box. Disappointed.

I've ordered before and it's generally been good, but this time there was no lamb shish in the kebab mix, the chilli sauce was missing and the coleslaw was off. Disappointing

food wasn't great we was told a certain time and came very early banging on the front door. food wasn't all that cheese burger and chicken burger was chewy asked for salad on both burgers only got lettuce.

Food was poor , gave us salad cream instead of mayo . Was no salad on the kebabs only a spoonful of lettuce and 2 slices of cucumber . The wrap meal only contained about 10 chips that looked like the last ones in the pan . Food was rushed !

Coleslaw looked like it was left in the heat for hours gone all hard and lumpy ordered a chicken shish kabab with salad it came with a slice of cucumber and a slice of lettuce paid over 15 pound for this and it's not right will not be using you again 😡

Ordered 2 large fries and 1 chips with cheese. Received 2 chips with cheese and 1 large fries. Not brilliant as there is 1 Vegan and 1 intolerant to dairy!!

For a quick cheap meal, it's not bad at all! Lots to choose from; burgers, kebab and sandwiches. I had the chicken fillet burger meal. The fries were nice and crisp and soft on the inside; just right! The burger was good too; nice crispy pieces of fillet in a decent fresh bun. I opted out of having salad in the burger as I always do at cheap joints. Courteous staff. Halal too.

Wasn't nice at all chips where soggy, the pizza was burnt I got the wrong pitta with kebab and they did not read my description as did not want something on pizza and they put it all on.

Appalled, ordered to the wrong address by mistake when I was somewhere else and I payed by card, then they charged my sister again when the food got to the other address. The food was cold and was not very nice because of this. Driver was rude and charged again for the meal even though they knew it was already paid for.

Wasn't happy with my delivery as crust and base were very burnt and the pizzas tasted as if they were cooked the previous day and wormed up in the microwave, the parts of the pizza that wasn't burnt was very chewy, was only able to eat one slice which is a huge waste, very disappointed unfortunately. Although delivery arrived 10 minutes early but to be honest that's probably the only positive.

The food we ordered was delivered 30 minutes late. The chip weren't cooked properly and certainly didn't qualify as the LARGE chips we ordered since the carton was half full. The burgers looked like they'd been thrown together in 2 minutes. This has been the worst takeaway experience of my life. If I could give zero stars I would. Avoid at all costs.

Usually really nice from here. But tonight was disappointing. Ordered chicken strips & chips but instead it was chicken on the bone. Ordered a spicy chicken burger with salad, but received a regular chicken burger with 2 cucumber slices & 1 slice of tomato, ordered a Donna kebab with salad also only two cucumber slices and 1 slice of tomato. Also the chips were cold and inedible - we understand it was ordered quite late, but considering your takeaway is open till 3,45am it should have been better. Such. A shame because we were regulars. ☹️

Used to love TJs. But tonight they let me down. They're currently 17 minutes late to deliver, and won't answer their phone. The first time they answered they said they were a minute away, and that was 15 minutes ago. So disappointed.

Was NOT good! Appalling customer service, forgot some food we had ordered, which was also dealt with very badly. Was the food worth the wait? No! Sweat ridden and greased up, not what I had hoped for considering I waited over an hour for a couple burgers and a handful of nuggets. Took so long, I was even asleep when they showed up. Not pleased! But the yoghurt mint sauce however, was bang on.

Absolutely a joke. I paid £11 and my box of wings & drink was missing. I called them back to tell them they forgot my order but never answered. I had to make a second order just to get my drink then the driver was mad at me for ordering again. Such a let down, so embarrassing. I'm never ordering from TJs again. Really poor quality.

Absolutely f**king poor, I received a call from tjs asking if I wanted the food or not I said yes I will be collecting it in two minutes as I was around the corner. I got into the shop and he hadn't started cooking the food........ The fact I waited 30 mins as the app said I had to and it still wasn't ready after that time confirms I will not be using TJs again

Wrong pizza bases and wrong desert. They were 20 mins late and didn't. Other to call and say desert out of stock. Just turned up with a alternative which we had nonchoice but to take. Very disappointed

Food was stone cold fries were re fried and in edible, naan bread was rock solid and salad looked like it was days old. Wouldn't recommend as when just eat spoke to the restaurant they hung up and didn't care.

I never review but this was awful! I ordered a chocolate fudge cake dessert and got a call telling me they didn't have any which was fine, they replaced it with a a strawberry cheese cake... food came and the pizza was cold but I was starving so I reheated it myself and then when it came to the dessert it was frozen solid! I kid you not it still has ice all of it, my cheese cake was basically a rock this is can seriously affect my health and I'm shocked they would even send it out! Don't order from here

Totally got my order wrong, I asked for a half pounder burger meal and a quarter pound burger meal and ended up with a wrap!! This isn't the 1st time this has happened from here but that is the last time I order from here. Its terrible.
