Tj's Burgers in Leicester

My delivery took 1hr 30 minutes to arrive time my food arrived most of it was cold and they put the wrong toppings on my pizza it didn’t taste nice didn’t have much flavour

Just one word that will perfectly describe the experience - Grease. Placed an order online for couple of burgers with hash browns, pizza garlic bread, samosas, chicken and mushroom soup and Chips. The only edible thing from the lot was Chips. Samosas had funny taste and the rest was just grease with poor ingridients and ended up in the bin. Burgers could be better if the tomato was not heated and hashbrown was not coated in oil and properly drained so it would not damp the rest. The grease from garlic bread went through the box and even left an oily spot on a table. Feels like a waste of money. I do not recommend this place.

Excellent service, taste and quantity. Highly recommended especially the meat and chips.

Don't trust this TJs..better go for London road Tjs they provide best pizzas for less cost, here these people charge huge and provide worst taste and they won't even give sauce for the pizza.

I've decided to leave a review following yet another display of appalling service. It's not the first time I've had an issue with deliveries being ridiculously late. Previously, when I've chased up deliveries, it's become quite clear they've either forgotten or just not bothered. Another case in point this evening. Ordered approx 18:40, with email confirmation that it would be circa 60 mins. Fine with that...it's a Saturday night.....called them at 19:45 to see where it was (wife is T1 diabetic so timing can kinda be important...) to be told another 20 mins....called again circa 20:15 to be told 5 mins. I then call at 20:40 to be told that they've been busy..... Finally arrived at approx 20:50....wife is now having to deal with a hypo due to sugar levels dropping too low. An absolute shambles of a business, in Lutterworth specifically

I've had a couple of kebabs from the Lutterworth branch. Very sub-par - meat is like it's been boiled rather than grilled. I gave up for a while but ordered a pizza this evening. Worst. Mistake. Ever. Mushy base, no flavour, cheese with no texture. Was like a gluten free, vegan, diet pizza. (And I've had a vegan pizza and enjoyed it). I seriously would have preferred a super market pizza to what I got. I called the branch and gave them a choice; I would drive it back to them, at my time and expense, for a refund or; I could say what I liked online. Dear reader, the string of four letter words I received have given me chance to say what I like. I would recommend this establishment to the recently lobotomised.

It's close to my home and I love it.

Can never beat a TJs. The staff are lovely. The food is great and perfect for drinking food. Their garlic pizza bread is to die for 😊

I have been using this take away for over a year, recently the prices have risen and the quality of the food has plummeted. Tonight’s food was the worse ever, salad consisted of lettuce and cabbage, the Nan bread was only half, the chicken Shish had no onion or pepper and I can say that you have lost a customer. I would sooner go without. Disappointed

Best kebab by far in the area if not the whole of Leicester.

Lamb Shish kebab with salad so good! Always order from the Clarendon Park branch and have never been disappointed. Lamb is tasty and tender, salad is fresh. It's the best for takeaway kebab!

Over the last few months i have ordered fro tjs lutterworth and have had problems with the last 3 deliveries. 1 hour late on delivery Order was wrong 2 hourr late on delivery as they hadnt even picked up the order from their site.

Good food, the pizzas are great.

Absolute wicked customer service. Asked one guy a question and got a honest answer which was highly appreciated. Burgers are amazing every time and fast delivery. Highly recommend 👌

We ordered food at 6:30pm on Uber Eats with an estimated arrival time of 7:35pm. It is now 9:30pm and our order has still not arrived. Four phone calls to the restaurant and multiple promises that it is on the way when clearly it isn’t. Staff are extremely rude and don’t have any customer care. Massively disappointed. Asked to cancel the order and get a refund which was refused as they said it was on the way so there was nothing for them to cancel, ridiculous! Do not waste your time with this poor excuse of a takeaway restaurant, not happy at all!!!

Shocked to see staff not wearing gloves to prepare food, picking up pizza toppings with bare hands and putting on pizzas, very unhygienic especially with the current covid situation!

never again will i order from here! ordered 2 pizzas and a portion of chips they were cold had to wait over an hour for them to arrive over cooked and burnt on top and undercooked at the bottom didn’t even have an base sauce on it!!! when i rang up they said maybe just a little less sauce didn’t seem to care about the quality of food they produced at all rude staff and overall vile wouldn’t recommend ordering from there!

We visit here every time Tigers have an home game, I always have the Pizza which is fab. Friendly staff too..

Food is pretty low quality, chips and stuff cooked with GMO oil which is nasty, burger was as slimy as the lettuce.

Ordered a mixed kebab and no complaints at all..been here w few times and food is all spot on and I’m never disappointed. Plus staff are friendly who take pride in their work. Highly recommend👍🏻

I’ve had food here about 6 times in the last year as it’s close to my house so It’s convenient but every time I’ve regretted it. The staff are rude they’ve put the phone down on me and had an attitude last week because he was the only one in the shop so he wouldn’t make a pizza... But today he ignored my request for a plain burger and put cheese on it. Asked for chip spice and got plain chips. Portion sizes are either too much or not enough small or large. my donner meat was half burnt and half Uncooked The kids burger for my lactose intolerant daughter had cheese and a nice long hair in it. My partners chicken kabab had about 3 long black hairs in it aswell. Not sure it’s it doubles up as a barbers during the day or not but I can’t see it having a one star hygiene rating. If you like hairy food then this is your place, otherwise try it for yourself. He might just hate my guts for some reason but I’ve never had a good experience like I said.

Never had a bad order in three years. The delivery driver is so genuinely nice. He thought I paid by card once when in fact it was cash and I stopped his getting in his car to pay him and he was so grateful. Always greets you nicely and food is always hot. The food is good but the customer service is always 10x better, you can’t beat nice people and that’s why I’ll always order from here rather than anywhere else.

Very disappointed with the delivery service as it took just under 2 hours to be delivered even though we got told it would take 50mins! After calling to see where the food was, I was spoken to rudely by one of the members of staff. Once it was delivered it was just about warm, my partner had ordered a burger which came in two bottom halves of a bun (no top bun) which ruined it, this was the same case with my burger as well. They then also forgot our side order of onion rings..will definitely not be ordering from here again!

As I was about to place my order myself and my partner seen 2 rats in the back.. we were mortified!! I ran out the shop, however my partner told the shop staff and they told him to get out!! ( it was like they knew this) SHOCKING!! I still feel sick. We have reported this... stay away!!!

unless you want cold food that should be hot and if you need grease for the car its ok. the man who served me when i told him that my food was cold and greasy he was rude and told me to leave never got a refund AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

I did call just eat who contacted them and had the same response that they would do nothing as apparently the manager prepared my food himself and sees nothing wrong with it. Ordered many times and sometimes have it before LCFC matches. Always good tasting food and I'd especially recommend the Spicy Wings as they are the nicest I've eaten in a while.

We pick up our pre arranged orders and sit in the car on Victoria Park prior the match enjoying a really delightful lunch. Always cooked well, hot and very enjoyable. Staff extremely friendly. Good value for money.

Quick delivery. The food is cheap which is ideal for students like myself. Polite delivery staff. Food arrives hot. The only negative comment is the staff on the phone can't speak English very well so they struggle to understand your order.

Had a mixed kebab...the meat was dry and burnt and looked like it had been sitting there for days and I only recieved donor meat and chicken. The best burgers in town. Especially the TJ special, lovely burger, nice fresh salad and beautiful relish. Only disappointing thing is the fries.

twice now I have ordered chips with curry sauce and twice I have had to change it because there was no curry sauce. Very disappointed. But otherwise the food was okay.

Thanks for the worst meal you have delivered to me in years 90mins for delivery I call and say "it won't be cold will it" Reply "absolutely not" Driver arrives with no apologies and I ask "it won't be cold will it" Reply "no it is hot I have just left the shop" Well cold nachos and cold kebab is not my idea of a nice meal Maybe a bad day, but excuses that they were "busy with other customer" just upset me more Cold food and £16 light I am not happy and cannot any longer recommend these guys Sorry for your bad service And sorry as a customer you did not care about the quality of what you delivered a customer for his £16 order
