Nice pub/restaurant on site. Poretti is a nice pint.

To be fair, the food and service was okay, the place was just lacking a bit of atmosphere. It was clean and new, so it was difficult to put your finger on why.

Had 2 lovely meals here, staff are excellent and friendly, it's also dog 🐕 friendly 😀

Pizza were over cooked burnt not happy 14quid in the bin , went to village Pooley Bridge fir a better pizza !

Great site, food is lovely too and reasonable prices. To the guy complaining about 85p for a glass of soda water, have a word with ya sel ya wet wipe.

Spent a few days on site. Had food, mine was drowning in sauce. Awful. Drinks expensive.

TJ's is a fab place to eat, especially after driving a few hours and putting a tent up, it takes all the stress out of that first night away (either eat-in at the restaurant or a take-away back in the tent). Whoever came up with the honey & ginger gravy for the pork belly is a genius. Staff always lovely, friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. The only thing we would like to see back, is pizza on the eat-in menu! See you again soon.

Food was delicious 😋 but unfortunately the service was horrible! It wasn’t even packed and every time we needed something I needed to stand up and go to the waitresses to order and even to pay the bill. Easy thing to improve to get a 5 star review!

I had the most horrific experience at TJS on Friday evening, we were so excited for our camping trip to park foot lovely site and booked into TJS for our evening meal to be treated like a peice of dirt by the assistant manager and the god awful waitress (plump blonde young girl with 0 customer service skills and the most rude attitude) I returned a meal that tasted awful and said I was really sorry but I could not eat this, she said why so I explained my reasons and she then asked if I would like something else (which she later denied) she passed me a menu and I chose something then sat down, I was brought another meal which was average which is by the by, my partner went to order my son an ice cream and the waitress said excuse me you need to tell her she needs to pay for her burger and he said what and shouted me over I went over and said hi I’ve paid the bill im unsure what you mean she then proceeded to rudely shout at me saying I ordered another meal and I had to pay I said this wasn’t the case I had to return food I couldn’t eat that was awful and she offered me something else she said she didn’t and then stormed off to get the also very rude assistant manager (Sam maby?) they both argued with me that the food was nice and that I shouldn’t of took it back therefore I had to pay for the other meal I asked why they didn’t tell me this upon ordering me another meal and they said “why did you expect it for free” I said I have never been spoke to this way in a restaurant ever I was so upset they were so nasty and horrible and it is no wonder the place was dead. I loved park foot but will never return to TJS with staff like that it was an utter disgrace pack of bullies.

Visited on 6th June 23. For breakfast. Restaurant was closed so take away booth only, hence can't rate the atmosphere, there was an issue with 1 item of food which was quickly resolved, but the place will not substitute other items for items not liked (eggs) , or reduce price accordingly, and were unwilling to provide mushrooms as a paid for extra as "they are for the vegetarian breakfast only" . This is a backwards step compared to my previous visits when they were much more accommodating.

Good food. Had a good meal here just the 4 of us we were abit early but no problem our table was ready. Order your drinks at the bar and food from the waitress doing the rounds. Every dish was good and plenty of it

Nice food at reasonable prices. Quantity of all food we had during our two visits was great and the quality is decent as well.

It’s a nice restaurant with friendly staff. Ordered the TJ burger, tasted great.

Had a brilliant weekend as usual at parkfoot. We tried tj's restaurant and wow the food was to die for well presented and plenty of it, the deserts were exactly same lovely portions and tasted unreal, service was with a smile just a little on the slow side but we was in no rush and to receive food like we did absolutely worth the wait 👍

Great site terrible bar/ restaurant the barmaid was obnoxious I asked why she had changed me 85p for a glass of soda water as its free in every other bar I've ever been in I didn't mind paying but when I went back to the bar she decided to make a comment to her fellow member of staff she gestured in an inappropriate way so asked for a refund she got her manager Sam who refused to refund me even thou I said I didn't want to stay in the bar when the staff had no respect for there customers I'd return to the site but never to TJs also seen lots of the kids food being sent back and many complaints about the food that was served can't fault the park staff whatsoever they are amazing. Sam I said I'd leave a review and also as you wouldn't refund me I will be going through my bank to claim back the payment as you can't refuse my a refund when your service was disgraceful at best!

Ordered a pizza and was under cooked and Sam who refused to refund me for my drinks earlier made a comment to my wife yes she is my wife and our children won't eat uncooked pizza the fish was lovely and so was the chicken burger but the pizza needed a bit more it was crispy on the outer but soggy and the dough was not cooked sam said this is how they cook there pizzas and never had a bad comment but I've now seen many people say the same and for £11.25 for a 12in pepperoni pizza that's under cooked is shocking

Had food here today (Saturday night), not that busy really, was just extremely disappointed, ordered fish and chips, steak and ale pie, childs fish and chips, the fish and chips were perfect, however that’s where it ends, I had steak and ale pie which was tasty, however the portion was soo small and I mean I had nearly the same amount as my 4 year old child, I’m not one for complaining but at over double the price it’s crazy, we had to also chase around for condiments and was never asked once about our food, lacks vety poor customer care skills, if you want fish and chips it’s good however if you want steak and ale pie expect and tiny piece of pie, less chips than a child’s portion and a couple of pieces of veg, absolutely ruined my meal, I hope the management take note

20 of us came on Saturday night and you looked after us so well. All the food came out at the same time, everyone enjoyed their meals, superb choice on the menu. Cant wait to come back again.

Had a great time here with the family while camping, a bit pricey but the portions are huge, the staff are brilliant, and there wasn't an excessive wait for the food either. HOWEVER. Calling this toad in the hole is a bit of a stretch 🤣!

Without exaggeration the WORST takeaway I think I’ve ever had. £55 for a few pizzas and burgers and chips. First of all we ordered garlic. They decided as they had ran out, they just would package the order up and not tell us.. Queue a return trip back to the store to be told oh we haven’t got any. Here’s a refund. It would have been nice to know from the start as we wouldn’t have ordered. Then the food.. The pizza was seriously anaemic, undercooked and just nasty tasting, it looked as if it had been in the oven for about 30 seconds The chicken burger was so dry it was inedible. Especially with the lack of garlic Seriously save your money KFC is a 15 minute drive Do your family a favour and don’t allow them to endure this needless torture.

We made an error on our booking managed to squeeze us in on a fully booked night and also provided table service as the app wouldnt work for us. Couldnt ask for more 👍

Tried to book a table but it was full for 2 days in advance! Went into the restaurant to see if we could have a table but was told they are booked up for the night. The restaurant was only a quarter full lots of empty tables! Very poor service.

Terrible. Has a bit of a cheek to call itself a restaurant as you have to go and order your food from the till, I'd say bar rather than restaurant. But the main problems are the service and how long it takes to get your food. In our example we were told it would be a 45 minute wait when we arrived, which was fine, but to not have any for after an hour and a half and then have to argue about the poor quality of what was delivered meant we left with empty stomachs and a sour taste. Add to this they don't enforce their 'wear a top' rule, don't seem to have cleaned much on our visit (cobwebs and uncleared tables) and tried to seat us initially on the tiniest table which we simply wouldn't have fitted comfortably around means we won't be going back.

Staying at the campsite so booked a table in advance, received confirmation email but on arrival the venue was closed. This was for a special occasion so disappointed they couldn't advise us in advance of the closure
