Excellent food at reasonable prices, lovely friendly staff, nice fresh and airy cafe. What’s not to like? We will be back! A lesson in how to provide a café to the National Trust, whose Tintinhull Garden is five minutes walk down the road and can only offer instant coffee and pre-packed sandwiches.

Cafe is within village hall and very well kept. Lavatories were spotless. Popped in for a coffee (tea and hot chocolate) as early for visiting nearby National Trust gardens; friendly service was excellent and drinks were piping hot and freshly made. So good that we returned for lunch where a delicious bowl of soup was again prepared for us. Range of light lunches at reasonable prices. Apparently manned by volunteers and deserves to be supported. Easy access for disabled and free parking opposite if no room on street. Highly recommend.

What a nugget of volunteer positivity. New build hall, thanks to local support and Lottery funding providing light and airy halls, coffee shop and spotless cloakrooms. The coffee we had before the service was proper coffee and in large cup and tasted even better thanks to the charming service by the volunteers on duty. Would that all communities could have such facilities. Thank you and by the way the cakes looked totally scrummy.

Just popped into the coffee shop for a coffee, the cakes looked yummy so we took a slice each home as we had already eaten lunch. Had a lovely hour or so chatting to the helpers, This is a great place to meet friends over lunch and catch up. Looking forward to our usual Friday lunch after short mat bowls.

Popped in on our way to Yeovil. Lovely cup of coffee and hot chocolate. Really friendly people running the cafe and the cakes looked delicious. We didn't have time to stop for long but we will definitely be calling in again. Super village hall with loads of information. Many thanks for this lovely find right on our doorstep.

We were visiting Tintinhull National Trust Gardens today and decided that as it was lunchtime and rather than eat there, we would look around to see where else there was. Talking to a couple of locals, they suggested we may like the village hall. Are we glad we did! It was so much more than just a coffee with delicious cakes. They have lots of lovely lunch snacks too, all freshly prepared. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly too, giving quick and efficient service. If you're in or around the area of Yeovil, do give it a go.

My husband and I had lunch at this charming village coffee shop yesterday and can not recommend the place enough! The welcome was friendly and in fact we got chatting to the people sitting on the table next to us. The food was freshly prepared and served to our table and we felt very relaxed. A great place to meet friends, drink coffee, have lunch and chill out in the presence of charming friendly staff and beautiful surroundings

After a short period last week when the kitchen was undergoing some improvements and refurbishment. The Village Hall Coffee Shop is now open again for business as usual. Great coffee and cakes and lunch time specials along with all the other snacks etc.

Ten of us descended unannounced with a couple of dogs, for lovely coffee and cakes. Staff were very helpful and friendly, and are volunteers for their community, which makes it an even more special place to visit.
