Such a lovely little cafe, had many things in here before and love it every time.

Had a lovely lunch there. Good coffee too.

Delicious coffee and cakes. Simple meals. Reasonable prices. Dog friendly. Not suitable for disabled.

Was once a friendly efficient place we visited regularly when travelling from Southampton to Wales, and always had great service and all the menu available was good value and very well presented. The change of possible management or ownership has down graded the whole experience in this once great place to visit. My advice to the present owner is to check on the staff commitments to give your customers a good impression, as today we were totally upset by the attitude of the staff who obviously cannot wait to close for the day, and the quality of the food we ordered was very poor, we asked for a refund on a sausage bap that burnt with frozen bread , and the bacon bap also had fair bacon inside a frozen bap!! These were the only options that was given for lunch believe it or not.

Popped in for brunch after being recommended to do so by a nearby shop keeper - nice friendly welcome - indoor and outdoor dining tables - excellent coffee and superb pulled pork with jalapeno peppers sandwich - we will return !

Very poor quiche of the day. Limp pastry. Possibly microwaved. Flavourless. Very slow service. Staff seemed confused by their own table numbers. Won't be returning.

The sourdough sandwiches were excellent, and very filling. I'd certainly go again. (We went in after most people had had their lunch, hence it wasn't busy and the atmosphere was quiet. No problem for us.)

Came here for a quick bite pit stop. Had cheese scones with chutney - quite delicious. We were past the time when they served food so missed out on that. Fantastic lemonade and milkshakes. Dinesh had his cheese scones with clotted cream and chutney much to the amusement of the staff. New taste?

Situated in the centre of Devizes this dog friendly cafe provides a lovely location and excellent cakes. I have rarely had a better slice of chocolate cake! Staff are friendly and welcoming and prices are very reasonable.

We ordered 3 different toasted sourdough sandwiches. All were delicious. Drinks were great (2 cappucinos, a mocha and an Earl Grey tea) and service was fast, friendly and polite.

Glad to have gone back after a while when we didn't visit. Food and drink is still lovely, staff are always friendly and dogs are welcome which is great (our always gets excited as he knows they service dog friendly ice cream)

Fabulous place and location for food and drinks during a morning in Devizes. Very baby / family friendly and so accommodating with their menu for my picky 3year daughter also just as a general vibe, the place is so welcoming and kind to busy and stressed parents. A few very delicious veggie options and happy to make veggie toasties that weren’t on the menu when we enquired.

Great breakfast here today. Although my one of the breakfasts was forgotten it was quickly rectified. Would recommend and would come here again

We stopped here for breakfast and are so glad we did... We've found our new favourite for when we find ourselves in Devizes. Lovely menu, lots of homemade goodies and reasonably priced. Great quality ingredients and products. Would recommend and will be back.

We were heading into Devizes for feet measuring and shoe shopping and wanted somewhere for a light lunch. A friend recommended Times Square and the menu's great with really nice sandwiches, burritos and quesadillas plus a children's menu. Our kids had huge portions of very yummy sausages, chips and beans while I had slow cooked beef quesadilla and my wife pulled pork burrito. The quesadillas come with sour cream, salsa and guacamole- so tasty. The beef was melt in the mouth tender. My wife also enjoyed her burrito with side salad very much. Excellent, attentive service in a very pleasant cafe. Highly recommended!

Been many times and always good and reasonably priced. This time my husband had hot beef burrito which he said was as good as he has had in America. I had soup and cheese scone which was also good especially on a cold day. My sister enjoyed a bacon roll. Dogs are welcome.

My favourite place to eat in Devizes. You won’t be disappointed. The staff are so obliging and friendly. The food is truly scrumptious. I cannot recommend the Cheese Scones highly enough, they are superb. Great position to sit and people watch whilst enjoying a coffee and great food. The front is the best place to sit as the back and upstairs are a little basic but don’t let that put you off. This place deserves to do well.

Never disappointed when visiting Times Square, lovely fresh coffee and food. Eggs Times Square is to die for and locally sourced produce used makes all the difference. Quite often have burritos taken home readymade to put in the oven which are also delicious 🌮☕️🍳

I visit Devizes regularly and this is my most favourite place to eat. Their cheese scones are absolutely Devine with the lovely touch of chutney to add to it. The coffee is excellent too. On market Day you can have a bacon or sausage bap deal, both of which are delicious. I cannot understand the negative reviews on here re COVID. They have taken tables out so have less seating than usual, hand sanitiser and screens so not sure what more they could actually do. Perhaps us customers are a lot to blame! We should be thankful that this little gem is open and still providing excellent food and service.

I regularly dine here & couldn't recognise it as the one critisized so unkindly by a reviewer. All of my friend's standards are high & we found it to be flawless in delicious cuisine & cleanliness, & as for the toilets, as always immaculate. Every member of staff go out of their way to ensure a delightful and excellent reputation, & I find it unkind & cruel to spread such venum when those who complain no doubt would find it impossible to do a job half as well. Its easy to spread annonamous veham, but what satisfaction can they get Listen the their regular customers....grateful to a splendid oasis

This was my breakfast today which cost £6.95. Just look at the presentation and the tiny bit of sweet chilli. So disappointing and I wish we went to spoons instead. Used to like this cafe but the places passion has gone. The toilets were also filthy and the cleaning rota on the back of the door hadn’t been filled out at all. We’re in a pandemic.

This is a disappointing review to write, but in the current climate this is the first place I have actually felt uncomfortable being in due to the blatant lack of COVID-19 measures. Firstly the toilets, which were a mess and clearly had not been cleaned recently, even though I say three people go in and use them. Secondly no table service, still taking orders at the counter which led to a group of a about eight people standing around. Thirdly, many customers were not wearing masks and walking around between the tables. I appreciate this is hard to police, but one customer in particular was clearly a friend of those who worked there and stood at the counter with all the cakes and food in front of him talking for about ten minutes with no mask on. Fourth, the girls behind the counter, whilst polite, clearly didn’t get what was being asked of them and one took rubbish cup off a customer and then proceeded to make my coffee without washing/sanitising her hands. (She was also the girl who constantly kept readjusting her clothing and touching her hair before making drinks and preparing food) There was one QR code in the whole cafe and that is at the till so you have to go up to it (even though your not supposed to) and scan it. The whole thing was mess, and worrying. The food was okay, but coffee was pretty foul. I would have normally of said something but to be honest I just wanted out of there. All in all right now I would avoid.

We always call in when we pass through Devizes, sadly couldn't get a seat when we came up on Saturday 19th Sep so tried again following Saturday 26th sept and lucky to get in, anyway staff were really friendly and helpful but as I understand it, anyone going into an eating establishment must were a face mask/visor unless exempt, so we were very disappointed to see quite a few people waiting to be served at the till, walking to and from the toilets, and also on leaving the premises, we were upstairs at the time, NO ONE WANTS TO WEAR THESE MASKS BUT, they are to be worn to protect themselves AND OTHER PEOPLE, the staff had to wear them so no excuse why people don't bother. If your exempt then you should be wearing a lanyard saying so.

We have eaten frequently at Times Square without any problems but have always made a deliberate effort to share our business around the town, where there is no shortage of coffee shops and cafe's.As the town re-opens after lockdown we ventured in to look around and was in a 2mtr queue system for a neighbouring shop in what was a very quiet market place. I was confronted by an employee of Times Square to ask if I was queuing for TImes Square I responded no it was for the shop next door. I have to say I was spoken to abruptly and asked to move as people would not enter TS. Ok I moved although this should be taken up with the neighbouring shop.Note for myself, from here on in omit Times Square from our Saturday options. Everyone is a potential customer,no one deserves to be taken to task for queuing to support local businesses so abruptly. Thirty seconds of interaction leaving me with no desire to spend my money in this cafe again in a town awash with such establishments.

So good...that I travel all the way from Bath to Devizes to meet up with friends & family regularly.High quality inspirational cuisine, lovely ambience & THE STAFF...just the best.What upset me was the review left by a customer complaining about the slow service.Unkind rhetoric in view of the hard work the staff provide in ...not..instant cooking, but cooking with the magical ingredeient of care & delicious flavour.Easy to complain but to the custoimer who does not like to wait..." Could you do the job"A thousand customers could give praise but just one eunkind customer could upset a day

This independent cafe has had a really refreshing refub making it feel younger. The easy to read menu has lots of exciting new foods and drink, from classics to more interesting options. They still have their burrito of the month which is adventurous and tasty. The best aspect of this place is its affordability. Friendly down to earth staff.

Good menu with lots of vegan and vegetarian choices. We had Pulled BBQ Jackfruit Burritos which were stuffed full of avocado, salsa and other luscious things! Their coffee is also very good!

I was very impressed by the space set aside for children . What a lovely touch. We ate upstairs, which had a lovely view over the market place . Lunch was delicious and I loved that the menu was inspired by local landmarks!

Exceptional lunch . Asked for advice from the owner what was good to order for a change and she suggested we tried the quesadillas with tuna .... good choice came with a fresh tasty salad ( NOT dripping in greasy dressing )and fries. Nice friendly place to go for breakfast lunch or just a cake and coffee .. we will be back

Had very good breakfast - Vegetarian. Beautiful poached eggs served on crunchy brown toast with hummus and avocado, mushrooms and grilled tomatoes, topped with chilli sauce. Glad I had a good walk along the Canal to build up an appetite.

We normally come in for cake, it is probably the best of choice in town. Great coffee and choice of drinks. Food is good quality and freshly prepared. It can be a struggle to get a table at peak times, because it is popular.

Just dropped in here for a sandwich?baguette whilst working in Devizes and it was absolutely fine, with a decent selection of food and plenty of seating available.

Went here for lunch yesterday, politely welcomed and dog given free biscuits! When we went to order, were explained to that there would be a bit of a wait because of a large order in front of us but honestly didn't really notice food taking that long. Had burritos and sandwiches. Nice to have the option of burrito (which was delicious) as I find most cafes stick to sandwiches, wraps, rolls etc. Cakes looked great but we were honestly stuffed... Anyway came back after our walk along the canal to have those cakes and they did not disappoint. Can honestly say the nicest coffee and walnut cake I've probably ever had from a cafe (not exaggerating) moreover, it was the only slice left, and sometimes I swear at cafes the last slice is always scraggly and a bit pitiful looking, but it wasn't it was a decent size and fresh too. Anyway, finished that but had to get a viennese whirl for the road... This place didn't really do New Year's diet any favours but the food was just too good. 5/5

Great and popular little cafe on market square. A very broad menu with ok baguettes. Lots of seething upstairs which was good and staff were friendly.

Times Square, formally The Little House of Coffee, is a nice place to go for a relaxing cup of tea and a cake! Upstairs gives you a good view over the Market Place in Devizes. Staff good and helpful. I did find though that the tables were not cleared often enough.

Great little cafe, with lots of great food available to buy from here! The options for seating are great, and the views when sat upstairs and great! Fast and friendly service.

The menu and place looks nice but the actual food delivered is below average. I ordered a toasted ciabatta - when it came, it was just a cold baguette. When I raised this to the lady who delivered the plate of food she kindly offered to toast it a little more for me, to which I accepted. Unfortunately when the baguette came back, it still wasn’t visibly toasted (the underside was slightly more toasted but the top and contents were still very much cold) and it just looked a bit more dishevelled. The baguette itself was really average and there was far too much butter spread on the inside of the baguette which wasn’t very nice. Would not visit again.

We came across Times Square quite unplanned at the music festival last weekend. They were cooking outside and producing the most amazing quesadillas. Food was great, and limited disposable single-use bits and pieces. We'll definitely come back to eat in the restaurant.

Market Place views and a well cooked, fresh breakfast. There is also the added bonus that this cafe is dog friendly, one of the few places in Devizes where you can take your four legged friend. Try it, you’ll like it.

Had one of the best hot chocolates ever at this friendly cafe today. Presented as a glass with chocolate shavings & hot milk to mix yourself with homemade marshmallow & flake on the side. Heavenly!

A little gem on a Sunday morning. Friendly and very welcoming. Delicious breakfast and just loved the fact that the price included a pot of tea. It was tasty and good portions. As I don’t like mushrooms they were happy to substitute for grilled tomato. Great sausage. Will definitely return for lunch.

Called in for a snack mid afternoon and was very pleased. Just tea and scone but was very nice and good value. Friendly and rapid service.

The breakfast was first class and did not take long to arrive considering how busy they were. Very reasonable price and will be going again.

I've previously written a very average review of this place, and I've been put off from returning because of my experiences. I've heard similar from other people. However I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and return this past week. Same problem - poor customer service again. Not acknowledged, not spoken to until served, no please/ thank-you, peremptory. Coffee & cake OK but this type of service implies that they're not really bothered about whether you go there or not. I won't be going back - there are several other much better cafes close by where I can spend my money. Sorry, but poor service really puts me off.

We went in because it seemed like a slightly alternative cafe specialising in burritos. My son had a half a quesadillas with pulled pork which was really delicious and we'll portioned. The burritos and chips however were only ok.

Big selection of food with a lot of veggie options. Also enjoy the specials. Offer some different choices to your average coffee shop and all really reasonably priced and always tasty. Good cakes and dogs welcome which makes it even better. Keen to go to one of the quiz nights they put on.

I went to this cafe this morning for a coffee and breakfast roll. It was after 9am (when they open) and the coffee machine

Decor and furnishings tired and not too clean. Staff just doing their jobs without any warmth of welcome. Having said all that my Burrito in a bowl was very good & the rest of the fare on offer looked fine. Coffee was bitter though. I'd be happy to visit again but hope they can brighten up the staff, decor & furnishings.

Six of us went for brunch. Good range of items. Full English was good. Veggie was ok. Teas and coffee fine. Unexceptional but not expensive.

Great homemade shortbread and the coffee is excellent! Perfectly matched by the stellar service provided by the lovely ladies who are certainly as passionate about their coffee as I am! Fantastic to chat with them about it after enjoying a beautifully made Dirty Chai Latte (chai and coffee). Gluten Free and vegan options were available and the loos were pleasantly clean and stylish. 100% new fave place in Devizes! #supportlocalbusinesses

When in Devizes we love to go in Times Square. Atmosphere, service, food and drinks are amazing! The staff are very friendly. It has been dressed beautifully for Christmas and has an advent string of holly, with a gift for each day, wow! They have lovely homemade goodies for Christmas too! Well worth a visit.

A nice find in Devizes, reasonably priced and food is of good quality. Nice to park down by the Caen Hill locks and walk into town for a lunch here, you won't be disappointed.

We came to Devizes to help celebrate a friend’s wedding nearby, and we had a few hours exploring the town the day before. We arrived fairly early in the morning, and so we set out to hunt for some breakfast.

We popped into Times Square for lunch, a lovely little cafe, fairly priced and plentiful food. We had sandwiches with salad and an additional bowl of chips. It was more than enough for the two of us, very tasty and good friendly service.

After weeks of eyeing up the pancake menu I decided to take my partner and young daughter there to try them out. Although the food was rather good I was appauled by the general service and continuous errors made by the kitchen and Front of House staff.

Had a light sandwich lunch here today. A great place - lots of things to chose from on the menu and sensible prices. All three of us had really tasty sandwiches with plenty of filling on good fresh bread. Very light and airy and space between the tables. Friendly and efficient staff and a good range of customer ages. Will definitely visit again.

This a great small independent café coffee shop in the market square area of Devizes. The food is of good quality with an goal of providing home good style food including home made cakes.

Our visits are always special. I can still remember this restaurant when it was called Strongs and I went there with my grandmother. Scones are always good with memories to enjoy too!

After all the rave reviews, we were so disappointed by our whole lunchtime experience. After a 15min wait in an empty cafe, one of the meals served was completely inedible (3 American pancakes - extremely thick - batter was uncooked throughout). After politely informing a member of staff, the server was dismissive, disinterested and completely missed the opportunity to salvage the situation. Before leaving the cafe I asked the cashier for a refund for the inedible meal only and was told - the lady who sorts refunds was.....wait for it "eating her lunch " so could we wait. Mistakes happen - its how you go about rectifying them that leaves customers feeling dissatisfied. After todays overall experience, we will not be returning.

Fell into this cafe after walking up the Caen Flight. The menu was different with lots of interesting choices. I had never had a burrito but had their burrito of the month. It was absolutely delicious. The staff were very friendly and although we had a bit of a wait as they were so busy we were glad to put our feet up. Highly recommended.

Came here for a late lunch and were met with veey pleasant staff. The menu is of course café-like as you'd expect and our snack meals came without delay. They were ok but not more than that. Nothing specifically wrong, just not very exciting.
