As a Japanese person, Marusan was a disappointing experience I’ve had. I ordered beef curry and the meat was questionably red and wasn’t flavorful: it tasted bland so I stopped eating it in a few bites. But worse, for my friend, as her chicken (she ordered chicken karaage) looked really uncooked. It was overall a very disappointing experience as I had high expectation after reading the reviews.

I can’t find the google page for the Japanese cuisine called MARUSAN, just had the worst ramen there. I ordered spicy miso flavor but it’s not spicy at all and the taste is so bad. The pork tasted like not cooked enough and the soup is too salty but without any good flavor in it. My friends ordered curry and the chicken and beef are also terrible. So not worth it.

A really cool quick dining experience. If you are looking for more of a formal sit down, this is not your place. It’s basically a really big cafeteria with better quality food. The best part is there’s something for everybody here. Plus, you can grab a cocktail with whatever food you choose. I had a burger and I asked for no cheese and to put it on lettuce instead of a bun, and there was absolutely no problem with accommodating my request. The burger was quite good, however, it was not the best burger I’ve ever had. My friend had butter chicken from the Indian place and he said it was good, but also not anything ridiculously amazing. For a quick dinner option with lots of choices to suit lots of people this is a good choice however, there are much better restaurants in Montreal. The music was so loud that it was hard to speak to each other without feeling like you’re yelling. However, it is a pretty cool vibe in that location.

I recently visited Time Out Market Montréal for the drag brunch on November 2nd, and while the experience had some incredible highlights, there were a few things that could have been better planned. First, let's talk about the positives. The drag show was absolutely fantastic! The queens were stunning, and the performance was full of energy and humor. It was a joy to watch, and they really knew how to engage the crowd. I also have to give a special shoutout to the Nutella calzone I ordered from Moleskin—it was absolutely delicious and the perfect sweet treat to enjoy during the show. However, the set-up for the event left a lot to be desired. We made sure to arrive an hour early to get a good spot in front of the stage, but when we got there, we learned that all the prime seating was already reserved. We tried to take a spot on the side, but unfortunately, that didn’t work out well either. Throughout the performance, people constantly walked right in front of us, and the aisle was often blocked by people stopping to watch or take pictures. While the staff did their best to keep things moving and ensure that the flow wasn’t disrupted, there was only so much they could do. My main issue was with the stage placement and the seating arrangement. Given how popular the drag brunch is, it seems odd that the best seats—right in front of the stage—were all reserved, leaving the rest of the crowd in less-than-ideal spots. Why place the stage in an area where there’s limited seating in front? It’s disappointing, especially when you’ve made an effort to arrive early and get a good view. Overall, the drag show itself was a blast, and the food was top-notch, but the seating arrangement and stage placement really need to be reconsidered for future events. It’s such a great concept, and with a few tweaks, it could be an even better experience.

Time Out Market in Montreal is a great place to try good food. There are many stalls with different dishes - from street food to delicious specialties. The atmosphere is relaxed and modern. Perfect for discovering and enjoying something new.

This was my first time trying bao buns, and they were exquisite! The pork, despite a small piece of fat I couldn’t chew, was incredibly tender and had a great flavor. The bread was delicious, and I loved the addition of kimchi, which gave the dish a perfect balance. I couldn’t get enough of their fries either—the sauce makes them addictive! I also shared the General Tao with a friend, and it was fantastic. The crispiness of the chicken with the sweet and sour sauce and the perfectly cooked pineapple was like a dream. I’d definitely recommend this restaurant if you’re ever at Timeout Market!

Saturday evening with a friend, we shared a few dishes from different counters. Some dishes were ready quickly, others took almost 20 minutes! The cocktails were good, but too complicated in my opinion. The music at the end of the evening was too loud in my opinion. Still a positive experience overall! I would go back for another 5 to 7 with friends.

Ate at Le Blossom, ordered some sushi that was not really good, worst thing? It didn't come with wasabi and ginger, when I asked for it, I was told that it was payable, really? Come on, where are we heading at? Next time, would they charge for the chop sticks?

I hate that Toronto doesn't have this. This is such a better concept than the standard mall food court with the usual fast food chain restaurants.

Good food, but noisy and a lot of waiting. It's better than traditional food courts, that's obvious. But it is not pleasant in terms of comfort. I went to Chanthy Yen. The food was good.

I love this place and everything in it, except food and drinks prices that they seem a bit pricey. I experienced Montreal’s famous beer (IPA) and the other tasty ones here when we arrived here two and half years ago ❤️, they are still delicious 🍻

The food at Red Tiger was really mediocre, I wouldn't recommend their pho, it is too sweet, the broth was room temperature so it couldn't even cook the raw meat inside. My friend couldn't even her beef slice because of it being so raw. I ate mine because I paid for it, so I forced myself to eat it. If the broth isn't going to be piping hot they should be slicing their beef into thinner slices, not thick slabs. The service was really fast though. But for the price you can go to better Vietnamese places for cheaper and for a bigger size portion.

We went to 03 different restaurants (pasta, burger and Spanish) and the burger was in the TOP 01 for flavor. The pasta was nothing special, it lacked flavor. The place is very big and I like the variety of restaurants, even the bar... you have a huge selection of wines, drinks and beers. They have a space only for people over 18 and another only for accompanied minors. The tables are shared, but we had no problem sitting down.

This is a review of the ramen garlic with extra chasu. I'm giving the food 2 stars and bumping up the rating because there are many choices and it's an interesting environment. I paid $25 for the food and it extremely disappointed. The ramen broth was too salty, almost inedible (I thought about taking it back). The broth is complimented with 2 slices of chasu (glad I ordered a side) and is peppered with random oils and a lot of frofth (why?) plus the black garlic oil I ordered. The side chasu is served cold and heavily flavored with soy sauce (just salty, on top of the salty broth). The soup wasn't proper "ramen hot" and didn't have much flavor beyond salt and creamy. I realize this isn't LA nor Japan, but this trendy spot should be better than this. Considering this is a copy paste concept food court, I'm not inclined to try anything else.

The dishes are really good, but on the other hand at IBERICO's the large paella to take away was not big at all, almost no rice, a chicken drumstick and two pieces of rabbit, very disappointed. The same thing at Chanthy Yen, 5 micro wantons for $12 before taxes!!! This is quite exaggerated... On the other hand, the Taj and Paul Toussaint, large portions, fair prices, very good!

The strong point of the place is that it is warm, friendly and clean. I tried the pizzas which were just ok with a higher than average price. I advise you to go there and form your own opinion, it's still OK when you want to shop and eat in the area but not to find a good restaurant.

A modern take on marketplace with spectacular varieties of food option. Conveniently located at Eaton Center it is definitely the place to try local food from local great restaurants via fast food counters. Cuisines from Mexican to Vietnamese to Caribbean to Indian to Italian and so forth...it is the place to try the best Montreal can offer :) There is also a Soda bar along with Mocktails stalls and a different section just for 18+ with bars. A must venue to visit when in downtown shopping and chilling and wanting to try out local Montreal food. A diverse and unique fast food service that brings out the best of la belle province du Quebec à Montreal :) Great service run by great people :) A truly diverse place that exemplies the multicultural aspect of my city, my Montreal ❤️

I was a regular customer of the Taj for their famous butter chicken, total disappointment, they changed the recipe It looks like chicken in tomato sauce, it tasted just like that It was my last time that I was their customer, when the recipe is a winner, we don't change it

Excellent place to eat Downtown Montreal. The place is very beautiful, clean and the food is very good. I tried the restaurants Blossom (Takoyaki, salmon sashimi), Climats (Lobster/shrimp rolls) as well as the pizzeria and everything was excellent every time. They also make very good moktails and have a nice selection of beers and wines. I highly recommend!

Being charged an 18% tip at the counter to get our glass of water ourselves at another counter….It's an aberration They practically force us to buy ZERO ECOLOGICAL bottles of water for a modern concept that's is disappointing and worrying

Large food court that can accommodate about 1000 people Good quality I recommend this place! I think if something like this existed in Japan, it would be very popular. The table and chairs have a woodgrain look and are made of high-quality wood, creating a nice atmosphere. There are 20 types of shops? To some extent You can also drink local beer.

I love the food, drinks, and atmosphere here, but had an issue with service today. My phone died, and none of the outlets near the tables worked. When I asked to charge it at the bar and offered to take full responsibility for my phone’s safety, the staff still had me try multiple outlets again and even tested my charger on their phone before allowing me to charge it. While I understand policies, it felt a bit uncomfortable. They did help in the end, and I appreciate that. I’d suggest checking the outlets and being a bit more responsive to small customer needs🕊️🤍

Great place, everyone can take what they want!! The pasta was excellent, as well as the prime rib, the only negative point was the music which was much too loud, there were 5 of us, we ate without really being able to communicate with each other, unless we shouted across the table! !!

Here are my culinary experiences at Time Out Market Montreal: May 1: Le Blossom, Japanese restaurant. A real discovery! It was a professional lunch and I was super happy. I had a Salmon-Tuna Poké bowl and I fell for a homemade cake, absolutely delicious! It was a real feast! The atmosphere was great and everything was perfect. June 21: I tried Le Campo and its Portuguese chicken, and I visited Le Blossom again. Always so happy to eat there! I recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy themselves and have a good time! July 18: I tested the newcomer, Climats. I had fish and chips and extra fried calamari. I was more than full, lol. Be careful, the portions are generous and super good! September 25: I tried Ibericos, I took the Paela / Patas / drink trio, nothing to say that it's very tasty and good, to make again soon 🥰.

I recommend ChefPaul, Haitian restaurant, good food, Oxtail, Grillot etc. But the timeout market is a place where you can enjoy eating on a busy day, there are a lot of people but the service is quite fast and enough space to suit a crowd. Very trendy mix of young people and adults, wine areas etc👌🏽👌🏽

Their poutines are absolutely worthless. To flee!

Excellent lunch with Japanese dishes offered at the Blossom counter, inspired cuisine adding contemporary notes to traditional offerings; our choice: poke with protein ingredient of your choice (we chose lobster/mango), vegetarian gyozas and tuna tataki prepared as sushi, a marvel for the eyes and in flavors. The place is particularly cool, you can sit wherever you want, on a large table or a pedestal table for two, near the bay window or in a more cozy place with subdued lighting, it's a great experience.

We happened upon this area while exploring Sainte Catherine Street and the Eaton Centre. This is the hippest, nicest mall food hall I’ve seen. Great atmosphere and a diverse clientele. Choices from around the world. We had the Vietnamese Beef Vermicelli bowl and wings; both great. In unexpected find, give it a try.

First time visiting the Time Out Market food court and I have to say I very much like the trendy vibe of the place and will surely go back (want to try Le Red Tiger). I believe there's a bit of everything for everyone. Now, we were two and we ate the Marusan. Food was okay (we had the roasted garlic ramen with the fried boneless chicken), a bit salty for my liking but it's the attention to details that let me down. I noticed my GF began eating her soup or rather the ramen in it with a fork. They gave only one set of cutlery, so I went and asked for another and one of our bowls was chipped. So yeah attention to details even if you are not competing for a Michelin star. ⭐

The Time Out Market Montreal is an absolute highlight for every foodie. We had the *Phoenix Roll (Sushi) from Blossom* and an *Aubergines au Parmesan Sandwich from Bossa*. Both dishes were excellent choices. The ambience is modern and lively, perfect for a relaxed meal with friends or family. The central location also makes the market an ideal spot to have a good meal after a stroll through the city. I would highly recommend the Time Out Market - a great experience for anyone who likes to discover new flavors and enjoy them in a relaxed atmosphere.

A food court where you can enjoy meals from various countries. It was a bit unsettling to hear the music being played so loud...but there was also a bar for people over 18, and the atmosphere was stylish and fun.

Food is definitely not cheap, be prepared to pay more than you would elsewhere. It is definitely very good food and drinks though, worth to check out and try.

I love the concept of this market! Loved being able to satisfy all my cravings all at once. We had the seafood paella and churros from Ibericos, salmon and tuna oishi at Le blossom , rigatoni from il miglio, and a poutine!

Totally recommend for lunch or dinner

Man where do I even start? We had to go twice first of all, it was that good. Got from 4 different places: bao buns, Vietnamese tofu vermicelli bowl, some coffee and from a Jamaican spot. All the food was so good!!

Fun vibe with lots of food options, all of which were very high quality. Service was relatively fast considering how busy it was, and the cleaning staff did a great job of keeping things tidy.

We had Japanese dishes at the corners of Marusan and Le Blossom. Everything was excellent.

Definitely went during rush-hour, so a lot of the stalls were quite rush with their orders. The chicken satay vermicelli bowl was quite good, but definitely be ready for higher prices and table/chair search.

Had a very wide variety of food! I tried the Moleskine Margareta pizza and it was delicious! There were lots of different types of food there- Indian, Japanese, Italian, salads, BBQ, etc. I brought my pizza into the 18+ bar area and enjoyed a mojito!

I was going to have a drink in the bar,.but the music waa.deafening and.ridiculous high speed.overly-bass back-beat disco music, and it.permeates the entire market. Whoever decided on this music must.be wanting to be at a dance club in Miami. People are.here.to eat, not dance.

A fantastic food court offering a wide variety of high-quality food from different countries. The selection is impressive, featuring Spanish, Italian, American barbecue, Japanese, Vietnamese, Chinese, Indian, Canadian, and more. Each restaurant is top-notch for a food court, serving amazing dishes. The bar at Time Out Market is great as well. We enjoyed some fantastic cocktails, and the beer bar had an excellent selection. It's the perfect place to spend time with friends, as everyone can find something they like, no matter their taste. Overall, Time Out Market offers diverse and delicious food options. Highly recommended for a fun and tasty outing!

mediocre at best. the paella place is fairly bad, the lobster roll is ok (but not so much lobster, as expected), the grilled fish place is also okay but the portion is quite small for 30 bucks.

We went here a couple times during our trip. My husband is a celiac with dairy allergies, so finding a place to eat is always difficult, however the staff were very accommodating and made him a delicious salad with salmon both times. He really liked it and I'm glad he got to enjoy eating somewhere other than home. The food here was very good.

**Disappointing Experience at Chanthy Yen in Time Out Market Montreal** My visit to Chanthy Yen at Time Out Market Montreal left much to be desired. Despite arriving during the lunch rush, they were out of several menu items, including the Bao buns we had our hearts set on. We settled for the shrimp tartare, which had a disappointingly slimy texture, though the sauce was flavorful. To add to the frustration, they ran out of donuts without informing us until after we had ordered, although they promptly refunded us. The shrimp chips and salad were highlights, but overall, the experience was marred by poor communication between the cashier and kitchen staff. Whether it was an exceptionally busy day or simply an off day for the restaurant, our visit was not impressive.

A posh food court with gourmet foods from around the world served on real dishes with a hip soundtrack and quick service. Cleaned constantly by attentive staff. Options for different budgets. A café, cocktail and mocktail bar round out the options.

I couldn't find the Timeout Bar's Google page, so I'm writing here in one word: AMAZING. I've tried all of their cocktails, and they are always good. The service is exceptional, and the bartenders are super friendly. They have their unique touch that, I think, makes this place stand out. My all-time favourite is the yuzu sakura, but whenever they have seasonal specials, that's my choice. The drinks are on the pricier side, about $20 each. It's one of my favourite places to hang out with friends, as it is spacious with many seats, and you can sit as long as you want without interruption. However, it can get very busy and loud sometimes, and the smell of different foods can be overwhelming. The ventilation system is not very effective for that big floor. The location is also a bonus point. As for the food, I've tried almost every restaurant there, and they consistently have good quality food. My go-to restaurant is the American BBQ, which has tender and great steak options at a reasonable price.

Food here generally isn't too bad. Just avoid America's BBQ. Easily the driest, toughest, least appetizing meat. Can't bring myself to finish the meal at all

When we visit a new city, Time Out Market would be on our to-eat list since we always can find the signature food of the city from their vendors. We got a grilled chicken with poutine set and Indian paneer from 2 different places. Both orders were decent with proper portion.

There are quite a few different food stalls here, which is nice, but for some odd reason I couldn’t decide what I wanted to eat. Nothing was really calling out to me, and in the end, I grabbed a bowl of ramen. I really don’t remember ramen being over $20 but with inflation and food costs going up, a bowl now easily sits at $25 (if you add a tamago - egg). I have to say though the noodles were cooked just right and the broth was very flavourful. The pork was a bit too fatty for me. The sandwich from Bossa was good, but I’m also not the best to judge on sandwiches since it’s not my go to. My only critical feedback is that the bread could have been softer, but that’s just my personal preference.
