The Keynsham Courtyard in Bath and North East Somerset

On a busy Saturday night, we stayed for a couple of drinks and got service straight away by very friendly staff. We never had food hence the 3 stars 🌟

Overpriced - a pint of thatchers gold and a lime and soda came to £8.56!

I haven't been to this place as it is before,last time I visited it was a pub called The London Inn,many years ago. I think the landlord served us and he was very obliging. It really is a very nice pub,beautifully done out,nice furnishings etc.lovely loos. We sat out in the garden as it was actually sunny,we had a lovely few hours with our friends,eating snacks and quaffing wine,will certainly visit again.

Fab choice of guest ales. Friendly service and great live entertainment. Rob the landlord is a great Guy, nice indoor seating area with outdoor option. Very popular local venue.

No food but went for a few drinks and to listen to music. Very enjoyable and will go again

We absolutely love the courtyard, you can sit inside with the lovely heaters on and order a coffee and a pizza or sit inside the vibrant bar with life music, I have never known any trouble at the courtyard it's a really buzzing place but has a lovely friendly atmosphere, you can tell the manager really thinks about the kind of entertainment he has there and it's definitely the place to go in keynsham, the pizzas are amazing and freshly cooked and the chips are crispy and delicious.

Only had a drink here but very satisfied with the service here

Sells beer and sometimes has live music on. Not bad really and the price is alright. Locals night but not in a bad way.

We popped into the courtyard before going to eat. Very nice selection of wines and beers, we were both very disappointed to see that so few people were in at 6:30 in the evening, but it was mid week and had looked busy when we passed at lunchtime. Either way we were made very welcome and had a very comfortable pre dinner drink or 3!! We'd definitely come back if we're in the area again.

Love this place! Visit here frequently for their live music events. Great staff and Rob is a great proprietor 🙂

Very busy mid evening. Couldn't get to the bar, but we tried again later. Had live music.

The Courtyard is without doubt a not-so-hidden gem in Keynsham. The owner has done a fantastic job refurbishing the bar, making it a really welcoming venue which has really great live music at the weekend and events throughout the year. I especially like the premium selection of beers on tap, which aren't just the run of the mill selection often found in other places.

Had the pleasure of being a customer as well as performing at this great venue! Amazing atmosphere and beautiful decor! Check out the music weekender in August!

The new refurb looks great and the new owners/staff make you feel family. I came here with my partner and dog. We will be back in the summer, the beer garden looks very inviting!

In my opinion, the best coffee in Keynsham. Only four stars as limited selection of beer unless you like lager.

Absolutely amazing. I had to get off the train at Keynsham as the line was blocked and I'm glad I came here for an hour. The 80s-90s music playlist was perfect and the music not too loud. Relaxing comfortable atmosphere. Friendly bar man. There's a wonderful Belgian beer on tap which was delicious, as was the lemon cake! I might just stop by here on purpose in future as I enjoyed it so much!

The live music is a great addition and definitely what has been lacking in years gone by in the town. Always a great artist on during my visits. The newly furnished premises are inviting and cosy. At the heart of a smaller bar like this a charismatic team is a must, but unfortunately I find the bar staff completely lacking in this. It would really add a better element to the courtyard with a happier team at the hub, especially creating some report with the mass of returning familiar customers they receive.

Fab bar, newly refurbished, great vibes in the evening with quality live music, chilled coffee and cakes during the day. Have always found staff to be very helpful even when it is busy ( which it is every weekend). A gem and worth a visit has a great outside area when the weather gets warmer

Went in here yesterday and certainly won’t rush back. Once we had ordered and paid for our drinks we were asked to sit outside because they had a quiz going on. Maybe this would of been ok if they had outdoor heaters but they didn’t. Maybe they should of asked us if we minded sitting outside before pouring our drinks and taking our money. Very poor customer service springs to mind.

Post refurb the Courtyard is going from strength to strength. Still the same great drink options and live music listings now paired with a a fresh new look with a brighter more vibrant feel. Gone are the dark wood chairs replaced with much more comfortable new additions. There are also more options for smaller tables now the seating plan has been updated. Perfect for relaxing into and enjoying your favourite tipple or afternoon coffee.

The Oscar-themed New Year's Eve party was fantastic, great value for money and very well thought out, from the decorations to the music. I look forward to seeing what the place is like after the renovations.

Fun, friendly staff, cocktail selection was good, the “trees” are actually v good value. Loads of outdoor seating (new bit out the back too looks…. Mediterranean/Mexican…. It’s colourful). They seem to do live music a lot. I’d definitely go back

We visited on the first week out of lockdown. Brilliant staff and outstanding service, nothing was too much trouble. Friendly atmosphere and a great outdoor space to sit with heaters and shelter. Would reccomend to all my friends and family.

Friendly and welcoming, following covid safety guidelines, outwardly looking pub, manager had been involved in charity sponsorship for the benefit of disabled persons. Nice venue good for alcoholic or non alcoholic beverages including brewed coffee ☕ which was a great flavour.

Lovely staff and tasty cakes/coffee. A great place to spend a rainy afternoon. I will be back very soon.

Popped into The Wine Bar in Keynsham this morning to check it out. It’s just re-opened after a face lift and it looks good inside with all new furniture and that ‘new car’ smell about the place (including the toilets!). It’s well positioned on the Hight Street next to Boots Opticians. It’s a good blend of bar, wine bar and café, and currently it’s open for coffee and cakes etc. I took the opportunity to enjoy my coffee and cake on a comfy sofa overlooking the bar. The coffee was good (they have a Iberital coffee machine!) with a great selection of fresh home-made cakes from Taste T’s Treats who was completing her daily delivery when I was these. I had a piece of the Rocky Road which was lovely. There is a great hidden gem behind the huge wooden door at the front hiding the entrance to the side and rear, looks like an old coaching inn and the covered arch has been turned into a lovely bespoke seating area with lights and heaters. I know there’s a secret garden further back which will be gorgeous on summer evenings. It's currently open 9am – 5pm Monday to Saturday and 9am to 1pm on Sunday. I’m already planning my next visit and looking forward to a nice beer or wine when COVID permits.

Walked from Longwell Green to Keynsham on a cold afternoon and stopped for a sit down and a hot chocolate in the outdoor area. I was delighted to hear the had mint or white chocolate varieties, I went for the mint 🌿 with cream and marshmallows - beautiful! Lovely, charismatic barman. Will stop here again in future 👍🏻

The people who are there now have had a lot off work tow do but it looks lovely I think and they are nice

Decent bar, spacious and comfortable to drink in. The outside seating area is covered, prices are decent.

Refurbished but no atmosphere, DJ last night so say had no Christmas songs........2 weeks before Christmas!!! Too heavy R and B. Good bar staff quick and friendly though.

5 star cause they charged my phone, however I am a layman passer by. Refurbished with a with a wide pub selection of drinks and room to dance. Has a late licence for Friday and Saturday. 2am Friday and Saturday at time of writing.

No rush to go back. Garden a mess. Outdoor speakers awful. All a bit icky.
