Really nice food good friendly staff great experience

Food was ok until I found hair in it. This is probably due to the fact that all staff wander around the food preparation area with no hair nets or hats on no matter their length of hair.

Heard this was the best fish and chips in Dartford but unfortunately the portions of the food were seriously lacking. I was surprised that the chips were packaged with the fish as I've always had them in a separate bag. The chips and cod itself tasted nice, however I've definitely had better. I'm going to continue to go the place in Albany Park as its far more superior. I really wanted this to be good buy unfortunately my family agreed it was not on par.

Food is always lovely and hot and freshly cooked, for a fish shop and pie and mash shop, you don't have to have that, good menu, and breakfast to, a bar if you want a drink, staff so friendly and they remember you,

Great food, service ok, cooking times can take a while, reasonably priced. Update Just had a lovely family meal. Update under new ownership there doesn't seem any major changes.

The food is amazing, always fresh and tasty. The ambience is also warm and welcoming. Service is always top notch.

It was a takeaway so the atmosphere doesn’t count We called in 40 minutes after fish and chip mushy peas twice was supposed to have been delivered. First man didn’t seem to speak a lot of English but as we called we got the delivery! Delivery man had been looking for wrong address so order was cold and incomplete. We got 2 pieces of fish 1 chips and 1 mushy peas ! So I called back … I so wished I hadn’t both the man and the lady were so very very rude .. was offered another peas and another chips probably in an hour.. it was how not to do customer service.. awful rude so rude and I was talking to a lady owner who would not share names the man who wasn’t too good at English came on the line and said they were busy and to request a refund and put the phone down!! I had to call back as unsure how to get a refund! Still very rude ! Sadly it’ll be the last time we order here we have lots of choices but this was always the best… maybe new owners but hey! Very sad to say lost our business.. but the food is always great!

I often use this place as I work nearby. The fish and chips are really good and my work colleagues agree 👍.

Popped in here with friends from overseas for lunch. OMG what has happened to this plaice? e.g. 1 item ordered was sausage, mash, peas & gravy. What was served was a processed saveloy & 2 scoops of tastless powdered mash mixed with water. I certainly will not be returning.

Waiting a while to get served Coffee wasent hot Food wasent hot the pie tasted as if it been warmed up to long.o think there's new owners the old ones was very good

Omg what's happened to this lovely place. I used to love to love coming along here for an evening out with my partner. We travel from Orpington and have been using the restaurant for 10 years from when we lived in Dartford. It used to have a lovely atmosphere and food was gorgeous no matter what you had. Now the energy has been zapped out. Both me and my partner had fish and chips. I grew up by the sea so know what fresh fish tastes like. This tasted rank is only way I can describe it. It tasted like it had been frozen, defrosted a few times. The chips tasted like rubber. I came home and was sick. I guess from food !! The poor waitress looked like she wanted to cry. The other table were also unhappy. There was a man that spoke to staff like they were rubbish on floor. Have they changed ownership as not seen Jan the other owner in for a while. This is in the ideal location to make this an amazing place to dine out. Keep going as you are and you will be closed down!!!

Great food..the pie mash is spot on.great service.lovely staff very friendly..I would highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast lunch or dinner.its all delicious.

Ordered fish and chips with chicken strips, fish was nice but the chips tasted like plastic and chicken strips were £7 for 3 which were probably 10% chicken 90% breadcrumbs. Paid £16.50 for 1 bit of cod & chicken strips. Wont ever be returning.

1st time here & defo return! Wonderful choice of menu! Infact the best I've seen out of all the places I've eaten! Large portion size meals for very good prices! Throughly enjoyed my Pie, Mash & Liquor as much as my friend did her Fish, Chips & Salad! 😋

Ordered fish and chips. Price and portion is pretty ok, which is why this is not a 1 star review. Chips however, so hard to chew. Fish is just ok but only Cod was available today.

Ordered cod, chips and peas, delivery was quick. The food was still very hot and the size was a little too big for me but was absolutely delicious. Will definitely order again and recommend to my friends and family 👍

The food was so great didn’t even get the opportunity to take an photo. Our family had Fish and Chips portions were great and tasted great, I want more traditional pie and mash with liquor yum yum. Will be back again.

I rang them up and spoke to a very nice lady who did they can deliver directly. I ended up doing so through Uber as I didn't meet thr min order requirement with them, but she said that she'll get the food ready when the drive arrives to keep it hot. The food was lovely. Just want to thank her really 😀

Really efficient and friendly staff. A decent supper halt in the 'sit-down' behind the front counter if visiting the nearby Orchard Theatre. Decent haddock, chips and mushy peas, well-priced

Superb plate of food - cod & chips, excellent service and my only gripe was the decor felt a little dated. I will definitely visit again and recommend it heartily to anyone visiting Dartford who is hungry.

Please for the love of all things holy, PLEASE stop the music, I can't take cliff richard, Micheal Buble and Gary Barlow, tribute singers any more! The same album, over and over and over again! It's like the chapel of rest at a funeral parlour! I ate that pie and mash so quickly just to escape! I know the oldies like it but please! I cant take it anymore! 😫

Terrible, rude service 🙄 didn't get the order the way I wanted and laughed at me for asking to put my fish with my sausage so I didn't have as much to carry. Won't be using them again.

Excellent pie mash and liquor-third time I have eaten here and would strongly recommend it. Jellied eels also as a side spot on.

We was passing by and decided to try Time & Plaice. Pleasantly surprised by the experience, waitress was friendly and food was decent (think fish & chips, pie & mash). Only thing I didn't like was delivery drivers (deliveroo etc) passing through the eating area to collect orders.. Minor thing.

Ordered fish and chips for home delivery but was disappointed. The chips were tough and chewy the fish was dry. It looked like it was recooked.

Had chips, curry sauce.and dr pepper, amazing. Only thing that stopped it being a 5 is the price.

Ordered here for the first time hoping to find a nice local fish and chip shop and very disappointed. Chips were chewy and tough and fish didn’t taste fresh. I imagine it might have all been recooked. Not enjoyable.

The best fish an chips around. They do an O.A.P price and the portion is a good size. Value for money for sure. The table service is very good and friendly. One can eat in or take away. Well worth a visit

ordered pie mash and liquor.. pie dry and hard, mash no seasoning salt/pepper at all. liquor bland. waste or hard earned money. will not order from them again. dont bother writing any notes with your order, as mine were ignored. not happy.

Ordered food took two hours to come tang store over 175 times and no answer when they did answer was told food be on way and it wasn’t then it arrived stone cold absolute awful always ordered despite bad reviews and it’s been good well I’ve now had my taste of bad awful awful awful

Lovely bit of grub. I had cod and chips here and it was one of the best meals I've had in a while. Cod was tasty, batter crisp and golden and the chips also, good portion.

We had a take away twice this month as my partner likes fish and chips , I like to eat healthy , I had fish rice and salad , charged 250 for a bit of lettuce , it came with boiled rice , had no taste , no problems with fish and chips , then 2 Nd time I had salmon and mash potato , wanted mushy peas instead of salad , charged extra 2 pounds , mash was instant mash lol yuck , never again , sorry but total rip off ,
