It's a typical English fish and chips shop. I have never eaten there or took takeaways for myself. But I do deliveries by bicycle. I have picked up many deliveries for customers who order through delivery apps, such as Deliveroo, Uber eats & Just Eat, and have delivered to customers. I assume that the foods are very tasty. Because I of the number of deliveries that I have done. Apart from that I do deliveries that customers order over the phone or website. I have delivered upto 3 miles. It was owned by English people. A Nepali man has bought this restaurant now. He has introduced some Nepali foods, such as "Momos." I haven't seen the numbers of orders going down. That shows the new owner has also keeping the same quality. Apart from that, all the staffs are very polite, friendly and helpful.

Considering this venue serves breakfast quite suprised it opens as late as 11 in the morning

Really fancied chip shop pie n chips with a Sav last week. Ordered to take home. Pie was inedible, chips where overcooked and Sav was only crispy on a quarter of a side, mush the other. Will never use again

Super quick delivery (25 mins from ordering). Food was very good, especially for the price.

DO NOT ORDER FOOD HERE. I mean, you might not get sick but the food is way below average. I ordered pie and mash and it was the worst pie and mash I've ever eaten. My Mrs ordered fish and chips and it was the worst fish and chips she's ever had. Don't get me started on what the call calamari. Steer well clear. Waste of money and time

Visited years ago and was very happy. Today ordered cod and chips. Chips cold and old. Fish 100% not cod. Batter was different to anything I've ever had before. Never will revisit now. Shame.

Restaurant didn’t have half the items I ordered, they did call but I couldn’t cancel the order delivery driver then turned up with some items and refused to leave they then said the whole order had been delivered when it hadn’t

All four jacket potatoes were amazing!!!

My delivery time kept changing to a later time. My food was good as usual but was let down by the delivery guy. I followed him on the tracker and he left the shop and delivered to me via Crayford? which is completely in the opposite direction to me. He must have been lost! The net result was my chips were cold. I would suggest that the delivery driver gets a sat nav as it ruined my meal. When you spend in excess of £50 per week I expect hot food. It was a shame as this hasn't happened before

quality products delivered on time hot and good servings. Do not trust their paper carrier bags as they are absolutely rubbish, well not even fit for that.They need to change their supplier.

Really one of the best chip shops in the area. The team at time & plaice have really got it together here. Quality and quantity is very good and always arrives hot and on time. Only thing that let's them down are the carrier bags, they are useless just do not trust them!

Took my brother in here for a quick bite to eat whilst I was visiting him, as I sat waiting for the food which took longer than expected, what I witnessed was astonishing. This place genuinely cares about all of their customers. From elderly people, disabled people to families with babies. They genuinely care about the customers and its refreshing to see that. I think we can all learn from this place to be a little nicer to each other. I didn't take the ladies names but they are fabulous and I hope they know that. 💖

Absolutely fantastic food and excellent delivery service. Arrived piping hot 🔥 and on time too. Just don't trust their carrier bags as they are completely rubbish,they can't take the weight of the food. I have to request that they use proper bags each time. We will get there eventually apart from that I can't knock them,staff friendly and accommodating too. Well done!

I only found out about the restaurant at the rear of the chippy this trip....odd you might think as we have been going to Dartford town center for many years I go back as far as 1967 when it was the site of Dartford public baths.....surprised or what

please change the supplier of your carrier bags as they are useless. I will send the order back if you can't supply stronger carrier bags. My order was excellent apart from the carrier bag.

For me this is the best fish and chips shop in dartford by a mile. Ate inside before work, greeted by the lovely warm and friendly waitress who gave me my cappuccino to start me off with whilst I checked what I fancied on the menu. The cappuccino was really top notch n puts some expensive coffee shops to shame and for half the price. I had sausage batter n chips and again the food was point- really delicious. What I love about this place is the food and the outstanding service. The time and plaice sets the standard in dartford, highly recommended.

Me and family have dined here few times. Always forgot to write a review. Food is always great. Cod always crispy and chips always hot and nice. I have tried their other dishes like steamed cod and chicken curry too. Always top quality, reasonable price and most importantly the people there are so welcoming. Would highly recommend.

Food was really good but delivery man shocking.. Delivery driver refused to come to my flat front door, even tho bottom door was open and have a lift, won't be ordering again.!

Fish very dry left in cabinet too long, chips were very hard ...again left in chip server far too long 1 out of 10 will not purchase from here again

Ordered at 16.30 expected delivery 17.26 When I rang the WiFi delivery station was not switched on. So after 3rd time of ringing they said it was finally on its way. It arrived at 18.50 . Anyway the pies were Luke warm and rock hard mash was cold and only 5 small pieces of hot eel to boot. Could not reheat so we ate it cold. The dog had the rest. So only an apology given no offer of discount or refund or a complimentary bottle of pop to say sorry. Can't say I will order from here again. By the way the liqor was very watery and no taste ,

Wife picked up our food today 19.07.24 @ 20:30 Forget the seaside this place has the best food ever. Family favourites from here are fish and chips, sausage and batter and pie and mash. Just got fish and chips tonight it was perfect in every way fresh hot crispy not greasy very very generous portions and good price. The staff there are so lovely especially the 2 men there tonight and the lady. Oh by the way thank you for the amazing pickled onions!

This is our favourite restaurant to visit. The fish is always cooked fresh and is the best In the whole area. The restaurant has a lovely family atmosphere , the owner always makes time to come and speak to our son. And the staff are so kind and attentive. The food is always tasty. The restaurant is always clean. Definitely a 5 star from me!

I live just around the corner from this fish and chop shop and I’ve used them for a take away a few times … in the past it’s also been good size fish and chip portion but picked up cod and chips last night , the fish was nice and white but portion size was not on for £11.50 , very skinny piece of fish and a much smaller portion of chips , I know fish prices etc have gone up but come on……

This is the best chippie around. The chips are incredible every time and always piping hot when it arrives. I would recommend entirely.

Food arrived half an hour late ,that’s not the issue the prawns on the jacket potato were like leather and in a lot of liquid even the fish and chips meal the chips were unne edible ended up by chucking all the chips away

What has happened to this place? We used to get our fish and chips here once a month regularly and it was the best around. The place is now terrible, My wife came back today with beef and onion pie and large chips. The pie was so inedible, I think it had been sat there since May 2023. It was burnt, dry, I gave it to our dog and it took him 10 mins to chew his way through it. The chips had been reheated, and I could tell they was, tasted like cardboard. Horrible Horrible food, lucky my wife didn't want to drive back otherwise I would have shoved your pie straight on that counter in front of everyone. Carry on like this and you'll be shut down. Food is supposed to be fresh nowadays, you were the best, now you are the worst should be ashamed of yourselves. Absolute disgrace.

I am fuming. There was no tracking on the delivery driver and I waited over an hour past the delivery time and the food never turned up. The tracking service said the food was being delivered for 45 minutres, then when I refreshed the page it said food was delivered. I callled the restaurant a couple of times but they had closed and all I got was an answering machine. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS RESTAURANT

Very Pricey (£1.25 for a pickled onion) but better than Captains Chippy in my opinion

Food was ok until I found hair in it. This is probably due to the fact that all staff wander around the food preparation area with no hair nets or hats on no matter their length of hair.

Heard this was the best fish and chips in Dartford but unfortunately the portions of the food were seriously lacking. I was surprised that the chips were packaged with the fish as I've always had them in a separate bag. The chips and cod itself tasted nice, however I've definitely had better. I'm going to continue to go the place in Albany Park as its far more superior. I really wanted this to be good buy unfortunately my family agreed it was not on par.
