Tiffin Tin in City of London, Westminster

I organised I little nice dinner for my fiancee, he always wanted to try their food. Well, it was so good! We loved everything we ordered and they even let us try a curry (I guess was curry). The delivery was on time, the food was not cold, quite big portions, biryani was PERFECT! We decided, this will be for sure order monthly! Thank you guys, thank you so much for making all these amazing food! ☺️

Chicken tandoori and naan bread arrived cold

I ordered lamb tikka masala.. my lamb was tough and lots of sinew making it difficult to cut and chew... shame as its not cheap and has new fancy packaging all of which means nothing if the food isn't up to par

Food is not good at all. Didn’t eat it. I don’t know what type of food it is but it is absolutely nothing like Indian.

Rice was bitey, chicken korma nothing special for the price. A bit flavourless, just tasted like overcooked chicken in cream. Prices are side by side with restaurants in central London but the quality is of an average takeaway. Disappointed overall

Size of sauce that goes with the biriani is smaller and isn’t as nice as it used to be. Only get one yogurt dip now too. Used to be better

The chicken was okay but the lamb was chewy and tough . Aubergine was undercooked. Won’t be ordering from there again

Food was cold, easy enough to reheat the curry and the potatoes but the pakora and the Nan was ruined and the popadoms were soggy.

The worst Indian I’ve ever had in my life!!! Everything I ordered was disgusting, under cooked. Didn’t even taste like Indian food.

After waiting for over 1.5h, the order suddenly went from confirmed by the restaurant to marked as delivered, but nothing ever showed up. I tried to call the restaurant repeatedly, but their line is busy. Also, I wasn't able to find a better way to report this than to flag every item from the order as being missing. A refund doesn't seem good enough for such flagrantly bad service.

The food had no salt at all and no flavour. Paid 14.85 for just the grill with no bread and sauces and salad. I have orded from many indian places and all the naan bread salad and sauces come with it. Not worth the money. Realy dissapointed. Runied my day

A Chicken Biryani was ordered, and a Murgh Lasune (Chunks of chicken, medium sauce, with onions and peppers - highly recommended). + pilau rice.We both enjoyed our curries, and were pleased to receive the complimentary poppadums with mango chutney.Food was delicious and "hit-the-spot"Ordered by walk-in, and then a smooth pick-up 15 minutes later

Always lovely food. Order from here fairly regularly. Although I don’t like the new plastic containers with the sealed lids as (1) it’s less food than what the previous containers held - but the price hasn’t lowered and (2) too much plastic and no lids, so if you don’t finish it all, you have to move it into another container. Food is great though.

This restaurant is arrogant and deceitful and should be avoided at all cost. They offer a 15% discount for picking up but then horse traded with me on that even after the on line registration did not work. Shame , as I was returning to it after nearly two years I know what I d do with the manager and staff who wouldn’t process my order. And after COVID you d think they d try Having looked at recent reviews it seems like the quality has gone downhill too

The food was hot and delicious. The man who delivered the food was polite and considerate. We are so impressed.

The only problem I have with this takeaway is the food was literally tasteless! I had to add salt and pepper and even looked online for some suggestions on seasoning… Even the peshwari naan didn’t have a taste to it. Didn’t expect that from an Indian takeaway.. No problem with everything else.

Gorgeous food, as usual. But disappointed regarding the change of containers which results in less food being delivered for the amount of money paid, plus no lids (vacuum sealed) which makes it difficult for storing the (now small amounts of) left overs. Much preferred the precious round cardboard containers - which were better value for money and better storage options. But the food is lovely, although I now feel it to be overpriced.

Great food again from Tiffin Tin, and we are so delighted that they are now using eco-friendly containers. Top marks for this.

Used to be a very happy customer, for a number of years but this place is no longer reliable. Quality has been lacking over numerous previous orders, so our frequency of order declined with them.Also since you can no longer pick up, you can be waiting up to an hour for the meal.

Always sensational, fresh and authentic

The quality of the food was good, but was over an hour late for delivery. We have young kids so tried to order early, but was a nightmare. I did call the restaurant after it was 30mins late and the lady I spoke with wasn’t very helpful and just said they were busy, not even an apology. It’s a shame but I won’t order from there again....

The food did not taste good. The lamb was tough not edible. Everything tasted like it had been cooked days in advance and nothing tasted fresh. Very disappointed it came late and my kids could not eat on time.

I've been ordering for 11 years, and the thing that amazes me is the consistency, it's so good, so often. And their quality ethic; you can tell they have proper procedures sorely missing from many restaurants (even though they are only eat-at-home). Example: every single time I order their vegetable curries (which is every time, as I buy one as a side), all items are present, including aubergine, Every single time! And yet that is my most common pet hate when eating out - missing items, dishes not as described.My favourite dish is the Goan salmon; the aforementioned veg curries are beautiful, the cripsy veg samosas are splendid, the naans fresh, the daal seasoned.... Tonight I had the king prawn chilli, a jalfrezi style dish... Big portion of fleshy prawns, very well-judged because despite the dish being piping hot in a sealed container, not overcooked (as can happen and is not unreasonable, as they can cook further in transit).They care about flavours, they care about ingredients, they care about freshness. And they know how to cook the dishes!Thank you, Tiffin Tin, for the happiness of superb food.

Professional..good with allergies but food not so authentic

The driver did not bother to read detailed delivery instructions which told them how to find our flat. Food was late as a result and contactless delivery not made.

El servicio aquí es asombroso. El personal siempre está atento a nuestras necesidades: ayer pedimos un plato pero les pedimos que nos lo prepararan sin pollo, lo cual hicieron sin problemas. También solicitó un korma picante que es inusual pero lo hicieron. La comida es DELICIOSA, productos limpios y el embalaje es higiénico y caro. También obtienes papadums de cortesía.No puedo recomendar este lugar lo suficiente.

Chicken is moist and plentiful in portion. Sauce is creamy and very obviously been made by a skilled hands. The only food outlet in London that has never let me down yet. MORE PLEASE!!

I've been ordering from this restaurant even before 'just eat' i've always received excellent service and timely deliveries - i don't know why my order was late - and i wasn't able to track it online either.

The service was very good, the portions were generous and the food was served in sturdy cardboard containers which is environmentally friendly. The food was so delicious and flavorful, especially the succulent salmon in Goan sauce. It was the best Indian food I have had recently.

Awesome food, great quality and great taste - unlike many Indian restaurants they don't just overuse chili and coriander on everything, but a great combination of spices and ingredients to make their food taste like real Indian food.

The food quantity was very very less, also the dishes had very less chicken & more of tomatoes, onion & peppers in big pieces. Normally the chicken would just melt in mouth, but this time it was a bit hard. Please increase the portion of it.

Arrived a bit too quickly. Packaging and speed of delivery makes me question whether it was microwaved to warm it up before sending out. Food wasn't too good either. Didn't taste bad, just lacked any real taste

Beautiful food. Fragrant, delicate. Spicy but not harshly so. You do pay for what you get but it is very good value compared to the alternatives.

I ordered my food to be delivered at 6 pm, but it was delivered at 4:15 pm. which meant that it was virtually cold by the time we sat down to dine. Very disappointing!

Best Chicken Biryani in the borough. Full of flavour, but beautifully mild, for anyone who can't take the hotter dishes, this is perfect. If I had to choose only three meals for the rest of my life, then this would definitely be one of them. So made up that you survived the lockdown!

Actualmente a las 2 horas de tiempo de espera (citado 1 hora) para mi llevar. Sorprendentemente, "acaba de salir de la tienda" dos veces cuando llamamos para ver qué está sucediendo. Se suponía que era un regalo familiar. . . . ¡mala elección! !

I've always been disappointed with past online ordering food , I ordered with tin and was pleasantly surprised how early the delivery was and the container was sealed so no leakage. I ordered the chicken curry but the hot one and it was hot ! The chicken had a charcoal flavour the sauce was thick and creamy the Paratha was ok , mint sauce was nice a bit sweet and the sweet chutney was nice. It was okay much better then previous orders I've made from different places.

The vegetable curry had not been sealed properly resulting in it leaking into the bag. Yoghurt dip was not in the bag either. Spoke with restaurant who agreed to send yoghurt dip and another vegetable curry. However, food was obviously cold by this point and I was unable to eat my meal until over 1.5 hours after my order had been made.

Quoted 45 minutes for delivery however, took over an hour and a half to arrive. When we called to deliver, customer service was terrible - no apology and no compensation offered. The manager argued on the phone and insisted that it was a busy time - no excuse given that it was an expensive Indian, alone. This is not the first time that TT have provided poor customer service in the past. If you are ordering, give at least 2 hours before order

Had to wait for my food an hour and half called the restaurant he said the food on its way called back 40 minutes later he left me on the phone waiting and then I heard him talking to someone else saying to go and say something happen to the driver now I have to go work with no food for a lying restaurant to someone who has been ordering food all the time very bad

Great food, on time delivery and food super hot! Only minor disappointment was the naan bread that was dry and there only 2 breads instead of the 3 ordered. Everything else very good!

The food was over an hour late. I had to call three times, each time they said the same thing “it’s just been dispatched, it’ll be 5 to 10 minutes”. When it arrived over an hour late and 2 hours after ordering, it had gone cold.

Good food overall, lamb byrjani was ok on flavour but lamb to hard could of been tastier if it was bit more tender. Squid nothing special fried comsi comsa. 5 stars but keep it up and you'll get 6 stars maybe from me in future :)
