Really amazing curry house! Ignore previous reviews as they have a new chef and management. Really great vibe, busy and great food. Very authentic and reasonably priced. Would definitely visit again, this is my go-to curry now!

The restaurant is empty, the chicken in their curry dishes is not fresh. The food is generally rubbish, but you see the staff and the owner just don't care!

The food was mediocre. I ordered the Sabzi Pass Anda, which was overly sweet, so I couldn’t finish it. Additionally, one of the staff members was very rude. Despite my phone running out of battery, they refused to help me recharge it.

The food was delicious, the service was excellent and the staff are kind and accommodating, especially with allergies and dietary requirements. There is a lovely authentic atmosphere.

Didn’t notice the food because they squashed us in to a tiny table practically on the same table as the family next to us. Awful. Embarrassing and awkward. There were 2 empty tables when we left.

Went here for a takeaway and although I waited a little longer than I would have liked, it was definitely worth the wait in the end. I’ve been in London a year and I’ve been yet to find an Indian with a HOT and spicy vindaloo but I’ve definitely just found my new ‘go to’ Indian!! 1000% will be back. The food was amazing and chicken was cooked beautifully.

The food is nice- not exceptional, but nice. My main objection was the way the bill was taken. I intended to add a 10% tip anyway, but the waiter took it from my hand and pressed. This is at best inappropriate etiquette- in my view a wholly disrespectful way to approach service. On this basis I won’t be returning.

Very nice dinner on a quiet Tuesday. They have a good selection of some less well known curries and are happy to provide recommendations.

Top quality Indian food in the heart of Wimbledon Village - all the standard menu items along with plenty of specials if you're feeling adventurous. Waiting staff are friendly, knowledgeable and happy to make recommendations if you can't decide. Cobra is on draught 👌

Decided to order more unusual options on the menu. It is obvious that multiple dishes are identical with different names. Otherwise very tasty food at a reasonable price for the village.

This was my boyfriend favorite restaurant growing up in Wimbledon. He took me and friends there last night while our neighbor had warned us we shouldn't go. Anyhow, we decided to go there anyway and the starters were really great. Then the main came, chicken biryani was also good but unfortunately the sauce came after we already finished the dish which a little confusing. We had order chicken tikka masala and one other dish which were "Terribly sweet" we always love Indian food and had it often in a few countries. We never had such a sweet chicken tikka masala before in our lives. Anyhow, we were hungry and continued eating. We didn't want to complain but we've asked the waiter if the cook was mistakenly added sugar instead of salt. The waiter was not so friendly and told us the 2 dishes have to taste like this 😔 oh well, if you like sweet curry (really sweet), this is the best place for it. You won't be disappointed but for us, we will not return. Very sad unfortunately.

Not a great experience lots of staff but no one seems to know what they are doing or understand what you ask quite rude and abrupt. Also very slow. The food when it finally come was average but since we left my husband and I have been extremely unwell so the food was not good and has caused us to be up all night with stomach pains and sickness. Will definitely never return.

Loved it! Rajdoot did not disappoint. The staff were lovely and attentive. The atmosphere was great with lots of full tables and orders going out the door for home deliveries (always a good sign). The food was delicious, one of those meals where it perfectly matches exactly what you want. Bagged up leftovers to take home! Will now be our regular Indian restaurant.

Been coming for years. Overall very good, but the the chicken in my main was 100% reheated- rock hard, dry and overcooked. Chicken for the starter was fresh. Slightly disappointed as the curry flavour was exceptional as always. Don’t skip on quality please 😔

Normally great place to eat. Do not go on Monday night. Service doesn't exist to young boys more interested in talking to girls at the bar than serving customers. Food absolute joke. Ordered jalfrezi got a bowl of uncut tasteless vegetables with chicken. Left food untouched. Not a word from waiters just cleared the table and presented the bill. Shocking service shocking food.

Lovely fresh tasting food and friendly service. It’s been run by the same family for 40 years and it shows as they know what they’re doing!

Nice enough food and staff however the restaurant is so incredibly dated that it feels unclean and uncomfortable. Wimbledon Village is desperate for a good Indian and this could be it but ultimately the interior really lets it down.

Passed this restaurant by on many occasions , its very small ! However fancied Madras on saturday , so we did . Very pleasant decor , serves wines and beers . Good selection of Indian dishes , with intriguing specials on menu . Am not a big eater so the pompadums and Lamb Madras were more than enough , quality meat cuts and aromatic sauces . Much recommended . Busy on saturdays so booking recommended - although we walked in a 6PM and got seated .

Best Indian food I have ever had. Hands down. Occasionally I order from other places and quickly regret not just getting it from here every time.

My first visit to Rajdoot, recommended by my two dining companions. A cosy little restaurant spread over two floors (we were seated upstairs), in the heart of Wimbledon Village. Staff gave us a warm welcome, and were attentive throughout the evening. We had a mix of lamb, chicken and vegetable dishes to provide a table buffet for sharing. All dishes were delicious and plentiful. The overall atmosphere was cheerful,, with all customers appearing contented. At 10pm the ‘Covid guillotine’ come down, and the staff managed an orderly safe exit for everyone. Well done Rajdoot - the first but hopefully not my last visit to your excellent restaurant.

I can really only comment on the Dansak as it is all I ever have but it's wonderful. Great service, in sumptuous dining room. Love it.

Had dinner here with my brother this evening during the eat out to help out scheme. Midweek but very busy. Service and food great. Can't believe this is not the best rated curry house in Wimbledon!

A really disappointing Indian takeaway. The chicken tikka tasted hard and was not cooked fresh, we had to call to complain and have a new chicken dish redelivered after some persuasion. The other food we ordered saag, dal and breads was bang average.

Very tasty food reasonably priced. We sat upstairs which was very cosy. Staff were charming ( special mention to Naz) and efficient.

La cerveza estaba apagada, pero la cambiaron por Cobra sin quejas y la Cobra fue genialPedí pollo Jalfrezi, arroz con champiñones y un ajo Naan. We went to Rajdoot based on reviews and were delighted to find the excellent reviews were spot on! We had several different dishes, all were delicious! Our favorite was the Chicken Tikka Masala, the chicken was tender, and sauce was flavorful. The servers were very nice and accommodating. We felt welcome! We wish they were near our home in the States, we would go often!!

Great evening and great food. We actually turned up just as the restaurant was closing and despite this, the guys were kind enough to stay open later! Can't fault the food, service or setting. It's the second time I've been here and it gets better each time. Will definitely we coming back again!! Thank you guys :)

Still a warm welcome at this old fashioned restaurant. We came after some time for a meal. We remembered the food being really good. Not any more. This time, the food was pretty bad overall. Bland, tasteless. Weird colourings added which is no longer done. Sugar was added to some dishes making them inedible. Maybe they have a new chef? We left most of it uneaten. We won't be going back. What a shame, this was always our go-to place for Indian food in Wimbledon.

Came here with friends hoping to treat them to an authentic Indian meal. Ordered Lamb Ghost and it was very poor quality (quite greasy), as well as the prawns which tasted like they were from frozen. Really dissapointed as I had such high hopes.

I ordered the lamb tikka Biriyanis by deliveroo. They were really poor! They were more like stir-fried rices! I can't believe I paid 13-odd pounds for this! What a waste of money! The chicken tikka too was below average .. a lot of improvement required here. I got a lot of flak at home for ordering such poor quality food at such a high price. I hope the owner takes this as constructive criticism. I definitely won't be ordering from here again.

My wife and I had dinner here one evening after the cinema . The food is good and the restaurant has a nice , quiet , intimate feel about it . Service is helpful and the menu has many tasty choices .

Went with some friends - the chilli chicken was excellent but the balti was far too small - think a mug full of food - and grainy in texture which for £12.50 I thought was poor value.

(Recomiendo especialmente los langostinos) Gran lugar para escapar del animado centro de la ciudad. Justo lo que necesitaba en una noche de domingo frío. ¡Altamente recomendado!

We decided to give this local restaurant a chance to redeem itself after having been let down by it some years ago. The food was good but the evening was just ruined by the rude waiter. We won't go again - there are plenty of "good" Indian restaurants and this one just wasn't good enough.

Another great meal. Went expecting it to be quiet (Monday evening) but was bustling! Even so, the friendly staff were attentive & polite. Food, as always, AMAZING! And really good value given the location.

Sabroso curry, servicio cortés y una larga historia de ser el punto focal de las reuniones de curry club. El Sag Aloo fue particularmente grandioso anoche. No es el curry más barato que encontrarás, pero ese es el precio que pagas por estar en el corazón de Wimbledon Village. siamo andati in questo locale accompagnati da amici residenti in zona e lo vendevano per un buon ristorante etnico... ci siamo fatti filtrare dai consigli dei "locali" sia sulle pietanze che sul sulle portate... e debbo dire che i sapori anche se lontani dal continente indiano erano buoni... anche se come sempre mitigati ai palati di noi occidentali ... mancavano secondo me qualche partuolarità o chicca che lo potesse far ricordare sopra le righe... tutto nella norma .. sia il nan ... le salse e le varie carni a scelta... in quattro .. per un costo di 81 sterline.... (corretto)...

Tuvimos otra noche muy agradable en la Rajdoot. Me he comido aquí muchas veces a lo largo de los años pero nunca dejó un comentario que es una pena, ya que si se merece ser reconocido por lo que es. Un restaurante pretencioso, Old School, donde el énfasis está en la comida y no la presentación de su cena, que es un odio particular. No puedo esperar para ellos para conectar con Deliveroo la próxima semana. Pruébelo. Gambas sizzler! !

Desde el punto de vista indio, sé de lo que hablo cuando se trata de curry. Dios mío, me encantó el plato de gambas en Madrás mejor allí (si puedes soportar el calor) y mi pareja que es lento Dum Gost cordero cocinado. Usted debe conseguir el pan Naan coco! Pedimos unos platos así, no puedo recordar lo que llaman pero eran fragantes y deliciosas. El ambiente era romántico, pero que estaba bastante concurrida.

Probamos este lugar por primera vez ayer, y volveremos. Tienen un menú variado y sabroso, que dejó en claro cuáles eran los platos más picante y más suave. El tamaño de las porciones fue generoso pero no excesivo. El servicio fue amable y rápido, y el ambiente era tranquilo y relajado.

Decidimos comer aquí por un capricho de la semana. Pedí el pollo Passanda, mi marido tenía mantequilla pollo arroz pilau, compartimos, cebolla bhajis y tenía un naan peshwari cada una. La cebolla bhajis eran bastante grasienta y el arroz estaba bastante pesado. Pan naan, poppadoms y chutney de mango estaban bien. Mi marido dijo que disfrutó su pero era bastante normalito. Mi pedido fue incorrecto y tuve un korma dados en su lugar (ya que teníamos para llevar y no era demasiado similar me decidí a comer solo). Mi korma era tan sosa y aburrida que sabían como comer helado! Que solo sabía como algo que faltaba. Clasificación no dados para el orden incorrecto ya que el servicio fue estupendo y estoy seguro que hubiera corregido rápidamente, sin embargo, la korma era la cosa más simple y sosa que he tenido en mucho tiempo!

Attended this restaurant last night. Food was mediocre to be fair. No real stand out dishes. Ordered the cashew nut roll because I'd never seen it on any other menu before. It was lightly spiced potato with about 3 tiny cashew nuts in it. Disappointed cannot fully cover it.

Habiendo tenido una experiencia el año pasado desastrosa en Buxted Park en Sussex al tratar de celebrar una significativa ocasión, ahora recogida muy cuidadosamente y confiamos que esta vez nuestra confianza no estaría perdido. No fue así. Empezamos por pedir una botella de Chardonnay Semillón Aldridge (17 libras. 50). Fue servido a la temperatura correcta y su clara durazno melón brillaba a través de la nariz. Pollo Tikka en 8 libras. 95 es un precio extraordinario para un principal y tan delicioso. Como era una noche especial que probé un postre fantastica (8 libras. 95). Me alegra mucho que me hicieron. La combinación de vainilla y helado de caramelo con bolas de Chocolate, toffee y caramelo piezas limpiados al paladar y fue la última indulgencia de 2016. Un gran comienzo de la noche y seguro que volveremos.

No tengo dudas que hay mejores restaurantes de comida india en Londres pero Rajdoot está cerca de la parte superior. La comida era excelente, el servicio es muy bueno y el precio era razonable. Volveremos.

Llegamos al restaurante y el personal parecía haber "perdido" de nuestra reserva. Sólo había 2 de nosotros. En vez de conversando con nosotros para explicar el problema y solucionarlo, alrededor de 6 miembros del personal se congregan alrededor de nosotros habla en su lengua nativa muy ansiosamente. Este me pareció extremadamente grosero y odioso.

Una noche helada fuera, pero por dentro estaba muy caliente. Nuestra mesa estaba lista y rápidamente a la Chardonnay escondido. Ajo Naan era deliciosa, así como el pollo tikka. No me puedo quejar de la experiencia en general, especialmente porque el personal era muy atento. El maitre en particular sí como un halcón.

Nunca hice este restaurante, pero siempre me parecieron muy amable y acogedor para los negocios. Ahora he visitado en tres ocasiones y me pareció que este pequeño restaurante tiene un ambiente agradable, el servicio es bueno, la comida, aunque no es de cinco estrellas es mejor que con una buena lista de vinos baratos a ayudar.

Back from Greece, we always go for an Indian when we come back from abroad. we had to find a place quick as the brilliant Wimbledon Tandoori had closed down without warning! So nearby is Rajdoot A small place where the service is ok but there was nothing special about the food. Seriously averageThe 4 of us took a vote and resolved not to go back .Sorry about that, but that's democracy for you.

We had just finished a long visit to Madam Tussauds (well you have to do this once I suppose) and we were starving. The kids felt like Indian so we selected this restaurant as it was 5 mins away and it was highly recommended on Google. It is a very small restaurant - only a few tables - but this makes it all the more special. The service and food is 5 star all the way. We selected several of the Chef's Special dishes and all were delicious.

I didn’t make it through the door, being refused entry with my guide dog.Clearly Rajdoot believe that the laws around discrimination don’t apply to them, need I say more?If you are enjoying a night out in Wimbledon Village and have an assistance dog, try the Pizza express, unlike the Rajdoot, they will offer you the warmest of welcomes.

I absolutely love the food here and the quality is always consistently high. It's also conveniently located in Wimbledon Village and the staff and super friendly. I highly recommend this place if you are staying anywhere near Wimbledon.
