Everything was good except the food

A very nice experience. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. It is an excellent restaurant

I got an evening takeaway order of kebab, but it was overpriced under spiced and didn’t come with bread. With so many better competitors on the street, it’s a hard sell to come to this place again.

We asked for Iranian Chelo kabab they didnt had but then we got a Good Iraki chelo kabab smiler to Iranian. Got fresh taftoon bread with sabzi khordan and panir gerdoo . Dough is also very good. kind staff .

The koobideh was flavorful and well-seasoned, while the rice was light and fluffy—both were delicious and satisfying. The restaurant itself has a nice ambiance, making it a comfortable spot to enjoy a good meal. The service was attentive.

We've been coming to Saffron for years. They serve truly remarkable food. For starters we had Ashe Reshteh, Chicken Soup, and Kubba Potato. For the mains we had Faasoulieh (White Beans) and Kebab Kofta Iraqi. Everything was just perfect and the bread is fresh out of the clay oven at the front of the restaurant. We were particularly happy with the kebab, which was amazingly tender and perfectly seasoned, served with a nice fresh salad (side options are available). The portions were nicely sized and well presented. Overall a wonderful meal. The restaurant is nice and comfortable, but not fancy, and the staff is attentive. It's also quiet, which makes it pleasant to have a quiet conversation. The location in the heart of the Edgware Road area has been there for many years, and can get a bit crowded at times. They don't seem to take table reservations, but we've always managed to get a table when we've been there. Walking by, however, I have seen the place full, so there's a slight risk of waiting if you go there at peak times. The risk is worth it, however. It is truly a great place for Persian, Iraqi, and Middle Eastern food.

They are really really rude and they just cut the phone, rubbish service, rude man pickup the phone then when I wanna talk to him just tell me stop call the restaurant 😬, it’s like……..

The restaurant is very, very expensive, and I wish, given the high prices, they would give you a decent amount compared to the price!! The quantity is very small and there is nothing extra offered with the order, like other restaurants around it. Everything is for money, and on top of that, they charge you a service of 15% 😂 This means that you take everything on the table in return, and at the same time you want a tip of 15% 👎 Greed and neglect

Blessed be the Most Merciful, the food was good. We ordered Iraqi kebab, delicious Iranian kebab, eggplant kashk, and Shirazi salad, so I strongly advise you.

Unfortunately, there is a lot of exploitation and neglect of the customer When the account came, he charged 15% service, and I told him too much. He canceled it, and he said he charged cash, and I only had a network. He said, “Go to the old man, and the day I charged the network and walked away, I noticed afterwards that he did not remove the service... I saw it.” I said, “politeness and respect from the old man!!!!!!!!!” Prices are very, very high (Whoever comes to them asks them to remove the service)

The place is small and the food in general is quite good, but the prices are very expensive and have increased since last year. The salad dish was 4 pounds, now it is 9 pounds. In addition, the restaurant only accepts cash.

The service is not the best, and they ONLY ACCEPT CASH!! But when I told them I don't carry cash they brought it but charged me even more. Prices does not meet the quality of food offered. Hummus is ok but other than that it was a bad experience.

One of the beautiful restaurants in London. I must have dinner there if I arrive in beautiful London. I like their tandoor and mutabal bread and shish tawouk with white rice. Their service is excellent. Best of luck to them.

Definitely not come back here again , after i finished the dinner and asked to pay for my dinner in credit card they told me Cash only , “ if you want me to pay cash tell me in advance before I ordered the food” . I told him a don’t have my credit on me to withdraw cash I only use Apple Pay. So when the manger saw no hope from me to get cash he decided to bring the machine. Food is good, prices are ridiculously expensive that you pay in much more fancy restaurants. No cards only cash! Might ask you to go and withdraw money from the ATM machine! Overall bad and I will never come again even if their food is the best in London!

With family went there, found out that it serves persian and Arabic cuisines. A waiter offered kids chair at the entrance which I did not understand. After couple of times repeating he rose his voice which I think was impolite. The starters which were mast o musir and torshi were fantastic, we loved them. The main was kubideh with rice, was smelly and raw but as we were hungry ate it and the rest took as take away. For 3 courses of main, 3 starters, a jog of yogurt drink( doogh), 2 bottles of water it cost us £103.04 (£13.99 as service charge). The service that we received did not worth £13.99 charge. The service and kubideh needs improvement.

I went to this restaurant to have lunch but there were a very rude waiter. He talked to me with a disrespectful tone and didn’t want to serve me. I couldn’t take that and I left the restaurant without ordering. If I had the choice again I would have not gone to this restaurant and will not go in the future.

First of all the quality of food is terrible and price is high!!!! Second thing that they want charge us 6£ service charge by force and this one was terrible 😑 And at the last one, it's ridiculous that you serve your foods on dirty dishes and also not fresh vegetables.

Found this little gem on the way to our hotel, after a long day sightseeing on a visit to London with my daughter. The lamb stew was the best I've ever tasted and the chicken kebab was amazing too. Service, by a young guy, was excellent. It was great to see so many families eating together and enjoying the food as well.

Have been here a few times and the food is generally very good. However on my last visit, a Friday evening, the service was extremely poor. Waited 15 mins for my order to be taken, and didn't receive the complimentary bread that all other customers did. Disappointing!

الأكل حلال اعطيه 6/10 تعودنا المطاعم الأيرانية يجيبون مقبلات مجانية( مثلا خبز وجبنه او جوز ) هذا المطعم لايقدم الاسعار موجود فيها service charge معنه يعني ماحسيت السيرفز مبالغ فيه لان الزبدة طلبناها بنفسنا والثلج طلبنا منهم يعني سيرفس على شنو؟ على العمووم المطعم جيد صار لشخص الواحد 27 punds معقول للمطاعم الايرانية

الحق يقال، الأكل لذيذ ولا يعلى عليه لكن الخدمة سيئة في ثلاث نقاط: 1- مدة تقديم الأكل طويلة جدا 2- تم تقديم خبز تنور لنا بدون طلبه وتم حساب سعره في الفاتورة (1.5 باوند لكل رغيف خبز) 3- تمت إضافة رسوم خدمة (15٪ من قيمة الطلب) وعندما طلبت من صاحب المطعم حذف هذه الرسوم بحيث أنها اختيارية لم يعجبه طلبي ولم يرضى بإزالة الرسوم إلا بعد إصراري على ذلك.

My friend and I happened upon this little gem after a late night, and we very quickly realized we’d stumbled upon a great find. The space is no-frills, but the food is top-tier, authentic Persian that’s fresh and delicious. They hand toss and freshly fire the naan in a clay tandoor right in the dining room, which was especially fun and delicious. Highly recommend!

We went in with my friends, the staff didn’t look welcoming but it didn’t bother us maybe they were tired, appetisers arrived and was good and edible, then the wait was too long for the main courses so we brought that to their attention. Immediately afterwards the main dishes arrived and the food was cold so we told them that, then the old man by the bread oven came and we told him that even though we waited so long for the main course it arrived cold, he immediately put his fingers on the meat to test its temperature, and that’s when we told him that he can not put his fingers on the food like that, he pulled the plates and told us there was no more food and that we can leave without paying. We insisted on paying for the appetisers we ate, we paid and left. It was such a horrible experience to go through we didn’t argue because it wasn’t worth it at all, but we were really shocked by the level of rudeness and disrespect they showed us. I wish them luck with that attitude!

It is one the best food in London

English + عربي: Food was good but the manners of one of the waiters was appalling. When confronted, he played it off as a joke but he did not show any sign of him joking and we were in the middle of ordering when he started "joking". Place was clean. الأكل طيب لكن اسلوب واحد من الموظفين كان سيئ جداً. لما كلمناه قال ان كان يمزح لكن ما بين ان كان يمزح أبداً و أيضاً كنا بوسط الطلب لما بدأ "يمزح". المكان نظيف.

I've been to all restaurants in edgeware Rd, this was the best restaurant in terms of food. The kebab kobideh was the best I've ever had in all of London, it was exquisite just brilliant. The rice was incredible and cooked so well. I cant wait to bring friends here, finally an amazing restaurant in edgeware that we can all be proud of.
