And the service of everyone working here is excellent freindly great people great food Ahmed , mr mustafa and mr Mohammad are excellent good attitude Knowiedge It’s always a pleasure eating or getting takeaway from Mahal

This is ridiculous. I had the food here a month ago and the staff did not provide the receipt. I have been calling them for the last 6 wks and the manager does not want to even to speak to me. I don’t understand. If this is the way you treat your customer, I am not sure how they want to run the business. Today I came All the way to talk to the manager and he refused to speak with me. I am going to report to the tax authorities that this restaurant is not willing to provide the receipt to the customers. Is it not my basic right to ask for the receipt?????

The amount of food was ridiculous compared to the price. The food tasted less than average and I'm not even Indian but I can cook better than that. The staff were very rude and I hated the customer service. I payed alot and it wasn't even worth it. It's not even worth giving 1 star. I wouldn't recommend going there and I definitely won't even consider going there ever again. 120£

The food was delicious, but the price was exaggerated compared to the amount of food. The amount of food is very small. The vegetable biryani consisted of large pieces of potatoes/cauliflower and a little rice

Service was good though food is definitely not Indian style of making nor the ingredients, it is Bangladeshi chef and Bangladeshi owned. Not sure why they have named Indian. Indian and pakistani food are mughlai and with great taste. I ordered chicken biryani, it was worst.

We liked it very much. The food was exquisite in flavor, perhaps the tikka was a little too spicy for my taste, but still good. The price is very correct and the cleanliness of the premises is excellent.

The chicken butter was not it 😭, we waited so long for food, the Dahl came without bread which took another 30 minutes to come. The service was alright but as I’ve never written a review before I’m not sure how to describe it. The man serving us seemed somewhat angry we don’t know if it’s just his face or if he wasn’t happy to have us as costumers because we’re women in our early 20s. The prices are little high. Guess that’s why it’s pretty empty I tried chicken tikka before and I’m sure it’s not supposed to be sweet… On top of that you have to order side separately it does not come with the main Stew. Please tell me what type of restaurant doesn’t give you rice with the main or even bread? The ones ripping you off. You feel like you’re being ripped by businesses like these because of the prices and I’ve had food plenty of other nice places for Pakistani or Indian and it was not like this.

Excellent food (had Achari Murg and Sabzi Kadhai) and basically the best Garlic Naan ever. Very nice service, clean, atmosphere is more neutral, and this was perfect, as London is a noisy place and having dinner in a calm environment was simply perfect. Prices appropriate.

Great food, very friendly staff, myself and my friend enjoyed every bite we had. A must try if you are around the area. Thank you. ☺️

Delicious food with a lot of flavour and good quality dishes. This had to be my favourite Indian restaurant. I have been to. It is incredibly clean which you can see from the small details just from the cutlery. It's all Halal and they don't serve alcohol. I know some people may be put off by not being able to "have a drink" with their meal but please do not dimiss this restaurant because of that factor, as i can asure you, you won't be disappointed in the food! Very quick and attentive service. May Allah continue to bless and reward them for their hard work 🤲

The food is awesome with a lovely aroma. I really enjoyed the collection of music played in the background . The ambience is friendly,however the food is served promptly. Family restaurant with all kinds of tastes. I recommend chole chaat and chicken 65.

Aujourd'hui on avait envie d'un petit resto indien. Service à table par un agréable monsieur. Explication des menus si besoin. Sauce d'accompagnement épicée et parfumée comme il faut, plats bien cuisinés et prix très abordables pour un tel établissement sur une grande artère très fréquentée et bien desservie par les transports.

I love this place... No music set for a halal enviroment. halal food set for a halal filled stomach . friendly staff customer service was great. now to the food it taste great all the flavour were not judt flooded with spiceyness but flavoured. rice wss nice meat was soft drfonatley quality stuff. the setting very humble nothing too lavish or exciting clean and spotless.

Nice meal, reasonable price and efficient service. We only had a short time frame in which to eat before needing to leave. The staff serve efficiently and quickly and we had a very enjoyable meal.

The worst chicken biryani I've ever had in my life. Actually, it was not even a biryani they served it looks more of fried rice than biryani . On top of that they gave me chicken curry on the other box without any chicken. Who in earth serve chicken curry on biryani?and the taste was horrible...I would never ever recommend anyone to visit this place.

I came to London to work and stumbled across this place. The food was amazing and I couldn’t wait to rush back to Yorkshire and tell all my peers. Thinking of travelling again just to visit.

Great food, very flavourful and tasty. Many authentic vegetarian options and the portions are really good. Worth every penny! Ordered the papadum with chutney, plain biryani rice (was enough for 2), paneer makhni, chicken tikka masala and nan bread.

Order: chicken biryani, chicken karai, butter naan, fresh orange juice (x2) and Pepsi. £43 (approx.) Butter naan was great. Really light and fluffy, could taste the freshness and felt like it almost melted in the mouth. The rest... meh. BLAND biryani, could only taste the coriander. Chicken karai was OK but nothing to brag about. Very disappointing. Staff were friendly though and the food arrived quickly.

The food is tasty and portion of biryani is generous, enough for two to share. I recommend lamb bhuna, a chopped fried and flavourful dish which is great with fresh naan or rice. I didn’t order it in this photo but it’s my favourite I realised and regretted not ordering it. The biryani comes with a small curry. Also we received complimentary salad and that salad is so fresh and traditional. The whole menu is halal. Order to personal spice level can be requested. The restaurant itself is nice and clean, the waiters are very professional.

Food wasn’t bad.was fresh.but the customer service was really poor.they dont even know how to speak with customer.we ordered food but they brought us different food.when we told them says ok so now have this food they are same.they forgot to bring the drink and at the end when we order tea they brought tea with milk which wasn’t mentioned in menu.we ask them we don’t want with milk they said you should know Indian tea is with milk.anyway I advise dont try it.

Rubbish. If you’re from india, do not enter this place. Rubbish flavours. Non friendly stuff. Felt like they were doing a favour to us by serving us. too much attitude. Chicken 65 was rubbish. Waste of money. Avoid this Indian restaurant.

I stepped in on a Friday evening seeking a quick dine in option. There were only 3 occupied tables so I was served almost immediately. Told the waiter that I want a quick option and asked if Biryani would be ok, he said definitely. I wanted a mutton curry but he said that would take time, so he suggested to take a stir fry chicken dish and replace it with mutton meat which I agreed. Also advised that veg biryani rice (which I originally wanted) would be too big portion, so he recommended to go with Palaf Rice with veg as a side. Food was served hot and tasted fresh. Waiter came by to check if the food was ok. Figured out he is not the smiley type but he cares! Also the old 1* reviews might suggest that they have changed chef? Some recent 1* reviews could be left by surrounding competitors since they didn’t provide any details of their dining experience? Taste, quality and portion are good imo. Prices wise I cannot comment since I am only visiting but London is getting really expensive anyway! Edit: the waiter came back and asked if I finished my meal, he smiled this time! 😊

Less, slow and old staff. The staff were sweaty dripping into the food. The food wasn’t fresh though took ages to arrive as they were cooking fresh. There were hair in plate that was so obvious and visible. The food wasn’t fresh and no salt. They will lose all the customers if they don’t improve as all the customers looked annoyed and frustrated. Will never go back.

Sehr gutes indisches Essen. Toll gewürzt, es fehlte lediglich etwas Salz aber das kann jeder individuell nachwürzen. Bei meinem nächsten Londonbesuch werde ich wieder hier essen. Preis ist völlig ok.

Bad people and the price not matching quality of food

I visited London ( from Glasgow) with my 2 children. This has to be the first restaurant where i found the food perfectly made. It was also No.1 with my son who is very fussy about food. The Mixed grill was delish ! Highly recommend. Will be back again.

I was on holiday in London ( from Glasgow) with my 11 year old son and 9 year old daughter. We were so glad we chose this restaurant. Food was amazing and definitely took No.1 place with my son who is usually very fussy with food. Definitely would go back.

Very pleasant surprise on Edgware Road. Came in for a snack - was given a mini-feast. Food was fresh and delicious. Spicy tea to follow was also very special. Value for your buck!

Had Samosas, spiced well and flavorful. My wife had the Butter Chicken it was creamy and really tasty. She said it was the best she ever had. I had the Rajasthani Lal Mas. It was just okay for me. Definitely wasn't spicy enough. The garlic Nan was too crispy, I prefer my Nan bread slightly doughy. No Pakora or Chipati on the menu. Would revisit.

Great food. We were visiting from the US and loved every bit of it. We had heard good things about the curry food in the UK and this did not disappoint. Sad that we are leaving that we can’t have more!

Food was delicious! Ordered butter chicken, white rice, naan, chicken tikka and creamy chicken soup. The food had good spices but it was not spicy at all (if you like spicy food ask for them to make it spicy). Creamy chicken soup was really good and not too heavy. Food was served on time 👍🏼
