We stopped by the Atlantic for some snacks and drinks, the lobster butter fries were soooo good! highly recommend them.

My partner and I stayed before and after our wedding. We chose the right place. Superb staff. Wonderful room overlooking the harbour. Vibrant pub on site but without excessive noise. The breakfasts were excellent with prompt service. Will certainly stay again.

This place is the best for a Sunday carvery but (and it's a biggy) you MUST reserve a table as it is so popular that they are constantly turning people away. The meat selection is great (beef, turkey, pork and a veggie option) plus loads of fresh veg (the red cabbage was incredible).

Wie alles auf den Scilly-Inseln sehr teuer. Ein kleines Essen unter 12 Pfund ist praktisch nicht machbar. Aber gut, es muss alles hergebracht werden. Die Zimmer sind im Großen und Ganzen OK. Nur die Fenster sind alt, lassen sich nicht dicht abschließen und sind einscheibig. Die Bedienung der Fenster ist nicht ganz ohne, weil man sich leicht die Finger verletzen kann. Es handelt sich um einfache Schiebefenster, die in senkrechter Richtung arbeiten. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich musste während meines Aufenthaltes einmal das Zimmer wechseln. Der Grund war irgendwie unklar. Es war aber kein Nachteil, das neue Zimmer war qualitativ ähnlich. Trotz der Hochpreisigkeit immer sehr gute Qualität, was Essen und Trinken betrifft.

We absolutely loved the Atlantic! We ate here a couple of times throughout our stay, the food and the staff were amazing, as was the view of course. The Atlantic is clearly very popular, and it was nice and busy every time we came in for dinner, however, despite this, the staff always went out of their way to get us a dinner reservation even when it did not seem possible. You can tell everyone genuinely cares about what they're doing and it showed in the atmosphere of the pub, there was a real buzz about the place! Can't wait to come back when we're next over. Thank you for such an amazing time!

We were staying in the Hotel of the Atlantic for our trip to Scilly, and we ate in the restaurant on multiple occasions. The food was amazing and the menu had great options. The team that looked after us in the restaurant were great, they gave us excellent service, so much so that it was a point of conversation for our family after every meal we had. So happy our accommodation has such a great place to eat as well. Have already recommended to some friends who are coming over soon!!

We ate at the Atlantic twice during our stay on St Mary’s. We had fish and chips and a burger, both were excellent. The service was prompt and friendly. Nice views from the restaurant over the harbour which contributed to our enjoyment

A very pleasant venue. It can be busy at times but on our recent visit it was quieter. Food was excellent and very good value for the Isles of Scilly, and the staff went out of their way to meet our needs. They were at all times very attentive and friendly. We will return.

A very busy week , pre booked dinner for 3 nights, the food was great, the staff are brilliant, great atmosphere, 5star all round.

The Inn is an excellent location to look out on the bay and the food was tasty, but that’s as good as it got. We booked a table online after checking the website to see what time they served food from and till. The website implies they serve food all day from 8am till 11am and 12-9pm. We booked a table for 2pm. We arrived at 145pm to be told they were only serving food till 2pm. We had 15mins to decide and order. We had the carvery but was told the carvery is all removed at 2pm. It was the last dregs of the lunch service and by the time we got the food to the table it was virtually cold. As for the waitress service, the lady was rude and made me feel stupid for asking what veg was on the carvery. She couldn’t tell me. No tip, won’t recommend to others and won’t return.

Delicious food, good value for money, lots of choices and friendly staff. Really enjoyed our treat. It was good that our daughter who is dairy free could order a proper dessert rather than just a sorbet.

A very busy establishment. Standard pub meals. Not our best meal on St Mary's. As a very busy place they do not run a tab so it is pay as you go. Quite understandable.

Maddy, the assistant manager and Rachel were brilliant. Excellent service and really helpful. Weve dined here 4 times in a week with friends and the choice on the menu has got worse with each visit, due to the lack of ingredients, not the teams fault and they can't get it from the co-op who has plenty of stock due to St Austells strick criteria. Shame really we've eaten here alot over the years and this year has been the worst. Quality of the food is great, just serious lack of choice and embarrassing for the staff having to reel off all the things you can't have. Come on St Austell sort it out. Well done staff though, you are Excellent.

Centrally located, friendly, helpful staff, good beer and great pub food. Deck outside has fab views in a beautiful chilled atmosphere. We ate there twice over our weekend.

We had five nights at the hotel in a lovely room overlooking the beach. The room was very clean. Breakfast was excellent and we enjoyed a few drinks in the bar. All the staff were friendly and efficient. We will definitely be back.

Best pub on the island! Pickers, Tyler, Maddy and Penny always make us feel welcome. Josh is a great assistant manager and his shorts always make us smile. Food is always lovely with plenty of choice. Well worth a visit to enjoy the view from the two patios.

Beautiful setting with lovely views of the beach and sea. Friendly bar and waiting staff, Efficient service. Fish and chips were very nice, steak was tasty but not quite cooked as ordered medium rather than medium rare, not many chips. T bone pork chop was over cooked and dry I wouldn’t order that again. Pudding was nice ( crumble). Overall a nice evening food could be a bit better.

We visited the Isles of Scilly for 2 nights/3 days and used The Atlantic is our base on St Mary’s while we visited the other islands. We have 2 children, aged 7 and 8 and booked 2 rooms - room 20 (a double) and room 8 (a twin). The rooms were clean and spacious and both had amazing views. Elemis products were provided in both rooms. Room 20 - in my opinion - was the better room, with slightly more space and better view. Positives of our stay: 1) the staff were all really really friendly and helpful. While visiting Tresco one day we had not properly heard where the boat pick up would be. I rang the hotel and Josh, really helpfully, rang the Boatman’s Association and found out the time and location and texted me; 2) The hotel was a great base and the view from the room was amazing. It was 2 mins walk to the quay at St Mary’s Good do better: 1) At night, the hotel was really really noisy. Our rooms were underneath the bar and the noise coming up from the bar was very load and we struggled to get to sleep. This was pretty frustrating, especially given that we had 2 young children. The noise did not stop until 10.30pm - 11pm each night. On the Wednesday night, the Quiz was so loud that I could hear all of the questions being asked and - if I had entered the quiz - would have actually come third…. 2) Having 2 children, it would have been good to have a bath in the room. We assumed having looked at the website that the rooms had baths.

Fab view. Fab food. Fab servers! Would recommend to families, couples and everyone! Definitely a perfect spot. Special shout out to Barbi for making our visit extra special!

Perfect atmosphere and lunch in the bar restaurant. Could not recommend the food enough and the views from the restaurant are amazing.

What a beautiful room we had overlooking the harbour and beach. Excellent location too. We had an episode in the room that was beyond the management’s control, but none the less, the way he dealt with it was above and beyond. We couldn’t have asked for a more understanding and agreeable response. We will definitely come again, and recommend it to all who are looking for a stay in St Mary’s. Good food, great surroundings, lovely staff. What more do you want?

I stayed here with a friend. We had an extremely comfortable twin room with great complimentary tea and coffee and very comfortable beds. The pub holds weekly quiz nights (Wednesdays) which we attended and which was good fun in a bingo style. As for an evening meal, the staff were confident in recommending gluten free options and I had a really lovely pork chop and spiced apple dish. Nice vibes and very relaxing.

This is a fantastic spot! I stayed here recently in August with my partner and had an exceptional time! The food and service in the pub was amazing but the hotel staff were absolutely fantastic and really stole the show. The room was clean and bright but the view over the harbour was stunning. Couldn’t recommend staying here enough when on Scilly!!

Can’t recommend The Atlantic enough! I recently got engaged on the islands and stayed at The Atlantic. The staff made our very stay memorable, but the room and view were the cherry on top! Such amazing views of the harbour in a clean and bright room. Fantastic!

I came in to the Atlantic inn whilst on holiday with my family. We where greeted by the lovely staff that showed to our table where we enjoyed amazing table service. The food was excellent I would definitely recommend the chicken tikka masala that I would definitely be coming back for.

I love the atmosphere in The Atlantic. Amazing view from the terrace to the Harbour, enjoyed the selection of food and drinks. Best place to enjoy a glass of wine with friends!

Decided to take the kids for a day trip to go walking and see St Mary's in the winter. What can I say, we had a lovely time. St Mary's is a great place to go all year. Popping into see Neil and his team is always a delight. The team accommodated us and made a fuss of the children which they found very enjoyable. They came away saying they felt very special. Thank you for making sure the children have got memories to last a lifetime. A lovely lunch, superb service and a day trip we wont forget. Thank you

We enjoyed visiting the Atlantic Hotel this year. It’s set in a good central position and we were welcomed and given a table without waiting. Excellent choice on menu to suit most tastes, ages and preferences. Service was friendly and efficient and team of hard working chefs provide that little bit extra that makes a place special. One of the chefs came over because we had complimented the food and it was good to shake his hand and thank him personally!! Thank you Sam, great job. Friendly staff and a good meal. Carvery was good and the other meal chosen from the dinner menu was good.

Whilst on holiday this summer visiting family we decided to head to the Atlantic for lunch. Our food was great, lots of choice and good portions. We had two children with us who both enjoyed their meals too, even the fussy vegetarian! My sister is vegan and commented on how nice it was to have a good choice of meals available to her! Service was quick considering how busy the bar/restaurant was and the staff were all very friendly and accommodating. We visit Scilly every summer and always enjoy a drink on the terrace looking out over the harbour so we will certainly be popping back in!

My party and I all chose different main course dishes and they were all delicious. We just about managed as we had one who can’t eat fish and another avoiding chips. A pasta or rice dish on the specials board would have been helpful. Staff - absolutely brilliant, charming, polite, helpful and knowledgeable Food and real ales very good Prices, OK

This is my favourite time to spend time on St Mary’s after a day of exploring. The service is remarkably welcoming, it’s nice to feel like a local! I was also impressed with their vegan menu offerings as the only vegan in the family, it’s great not to feel like I’m missing out! Highly recommend it here and advise everyone to make a visit while they are on the Isles of Scilly.

Perfect dining experience, best meals on the island this whole week. Lobster was superb, starters were amazing and the puds were great. All reasonably priced compared to elsewhere and staff were pleasant & attentive.
