Is a takeaway only not a dine in as stated. House special chow mien and rice were passable. Mixed balls not so good batter was too floury. If this is the best in Bude the others must be dire.

Great takeaway, does what it says on the tin. Plus the only Chinese takeaway you can pay contactless and don’t have to go the cashpoint for in Bude, so it’s nice to know the owner isn’t avoiding paying tax like the rest of them.

Thai red curry was very hot with just chicken with no vegetables. Singapore noodles also very disappointing. Would stick to Chinese dishes as duck pancakes were generous and tasted nice

Take away dishes. Awful food - I can only assume that most of the sauces were out of a packet. KIds liked it - but poor tasting food that can be better made at home with sauces from a jar!

Takeaway - worst red thai curry I've ever had. Thick, lumpy texture like gloopy baby food. Will not be going back. Other dishes ordered were very disappointing, nothing tasted fresh

Visited Bude for the first time and found Tiandi from a google search, didn’t check reviews or anything just took a punt. Took the laziest option and went for the meal for two, the food was great, really tasty and I will certainly get takeout from here again the next time I’m in Bude.

Second time we have had a takeaway. The portions are a good size. The food is piping hot and enjoyable

Ordered following a recommendation by the staff at Sandymouth Holiday Park. We were not disappointed. The food is very tasty and well cooked. The only downside was the cost of delivery to the park, which is a couple of miles from Bude. £8 was excessive so beware of that.

I ordered a Thai red and thai green curry from Tiandi and it had to go straight in the bin. The food literally tasted of sick and was inedible. The owner refused to refund or replace the food that I can’t believe anyone could stomach - who likes the taste of vomit? Super frustrating as I was having the kitchen done so had to order out. Will not be going back here again.

Really lovely takeaway meal. Ordered a variety of vegetable & chicken dishes, the food was excellent and there was plenty of it. I particularly liked the satay vegetables and vegetable chow mein. Husband really liked the Kung Po chicken. The lady who took the order via the telephone was excellent and thoroughly entertained my teenage young lady by calling her father sweetpea when he collected the meal (you really made her giggle)

We ordered a Chinese takeaway from here and we were really impressed. They delivered to our holiday camp site in a really reasonable time. They offered a good vegetarian selection and all the food we had was yummy. We were on holiday but if we return to Bude again it’s something I would love to reorder!

What a transformation from my last visit several years ago. My usual Chinese takeaway was closed so I gave Tiandi another try. Great service from Caroline, great food and piping hot even though we ordered an hour in advance. Best sesame prawns on toast I’ve had in years. Will definitely be going back

Simply the worse take away food I have ever had. Most of it ended up in the bin. Sweet and sour chicken & thai red curry were inedible-curry tasted like eating raw curry powder, coating on chicken was stodgy. Only the ribs were edible (just). Disgusting. Cannot believe anyone would go here more than once.

I ordered a delivery to a campsite (Black Rock campsite) and the person who took the order was so nice and polite. It makes a lovely change to have such a nice conversation when ordering food. The food arrived and the guy who delivered it was also a lovely guy ... this company is so friendly. I gave them beer and chocolates as a tip (I didn't have cash sorry) the food was very nice and I would eat it again. The people I dealt with were amazing 👏 .

We have loved the food here for years! Sadly though it lost its charm and the food was quite frankly awful! However, tonight we took a chance as my parents came down and fancied a change in takeaway. I’m so glad we tried this place again after reading the recent reviews. The food was DELICIOUS! The portions were generous, we were 5 eating and had plenty leftover for a repeat this afternoon (we are looking forward to that too!). The seasoning, flavour and taste BRILLIANT. BETTER than before. This is now on speed dial in my phone as the whole experience was OUTSTANDING. Polite, courteous, friendly phone manner, quick service, hot fantastic food! Enough said! Will be back soon for sure. Staying in Widemouth for my 60th, beautifully cooked, well seasoned and lovely sauces, was still hot on delivery, (driver and the female who took our order by telephone both excellent) quite possibly the best Chinese takeaway we've had for many years, highly recommended, definitely 5*****

Due to Covid restrictions we have been unable to eat in but certainly looking forward to it when we can! Have used the takeaway service many times and have yet to be disappointed with the food. Home delivery service with over the phone card payment was a real life saver at times too. We do not have a single reservation in recommending the food quality.

We ordered a selection of food to share between 6 of us, the customer service was brilliant - food was delivered pipping hot. Could not have asked for anything more, everything from the crispy seaweed to beef Szechwan tasted absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend

Whilst in Bude I thought I would treat my family to a takeaway. Sadly I chose this place . Due to covid takeaway was the only option. It seemed busy with telephone orders coming in regularly. The ladies taking the orders were busy . 1 young girl clearly new to the job was mixing up orders . We ordered and waited 10 mins for our order . Once received we took our food back to our campsite 10 mins away . On opening the order we found different meals to what we ordered . Sadly by then due to our hunger and roadworks to get through to return the order we ate it . Spare ribs in thick sweet n sour sauce . Sauce so thick it wouldn't pour . The rest was just about a 6/10

Myself and boyfriend ordered from this restaurant for takeaway and were pleasantly surprised. Chinese isn't my favourite dish, however, the food was very tasty and great value for money.

On holiday in Bude and tried this restaurant for takeaway. Friendly service on the phone, arrived quickly from friendly delivery guy and the food was very good - better than any Chinese where I live! We were very happy!!

We ordered takeaway from Tiandi twice during our week-long stay in Bude and loved it both times! Ordering on the phone was straightforward, the food was ready to pick up quickly and the prices were good for the sizes of portions you were given. The chicken in black bean sauce, vegetables in szechuan sauce and chicken chow mein were dishes we enjoyed the most, but all were great!

Really good experience with Tiandi. Free delivery to where we were holidaying. Really fast too! The portion sizes were great! We all had tofu, and there was enough for the next day!! Really impressed. Great flavours too. Highly recommend!

I looked on Trip Advisor for a Chinese Takeaway/Restaurant and settled on the Tiandi. So pleased I did. The staff were lovely and the food was amazing. We had a meal on the Saturday after arriving at our holiday destination and it was so good we had another meal mid-week. The food stayed piping hot on return to holiday house (12 miles). Cannot recommend this enough. Excellent in every aspect.

We were staying at Widemouth Bay outside of Bude but the restaurant had a delivery service. The food was outstanding and both the lady taking the order and the delivery driver were very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

We decided to have a chinese takeaway whilst stopping in Bude. We ordered over the phone at 5pm & was ready for collection within about 15 mins & parked easily outside to collect. Nice food & lovely chicken curry. Bit pricier than we pay at our local as we have free chips or boiled rice for the price of the curry where as you have to pay for rice & chips extra here but still nice.

Had a take away from here after a long day at the beach. It was so good, all the food was hot,fresh and tasted amazing. Would recommend!

Fantastic service (thank you Ashley & Chef). Seated immediately, fantastic service and food freshly cooked and served within about 15 minutes. Very happy with the food, Sweet/Sour Pork H/K style, egg fried rice, seaweed and prawn crackers, every bite full of flavour! Eaten Chinese locally (Abingdon) for around 10+ years and this visit for the first time has been absolutely fantastic!!

We stumbled upon this restaurant and decided to enter. The lady at the counter was very polite and has a great sense of humour. We ordered the Thai king prawn green curry and red curry both of which were delicious. I would visit this restaurant again.

We Have eaten here lots&always been lovely food until tonight&we had the worst takeaway ever,cold& greasy food&seems it was ready so quickly am guessing it was all just microwaved!very disappointing!

We regularly eat our Chinese meals here .. best in Bude, Holsworthy or Launceston in our opinion. Full rich flavours not cheap and bland,no cutting corners. Highly recommend

We were struggling to find somewhere to eat when we came across this Chinese restaurant. To be honest from the outside it didn't look that good but we were hungry so went inside.We were greeted by Caroline who was so friendly and chatty and then ordered our food.So they got the soup wrong but soon changed it and the rest of the meal was great. Caroline kept us entertained the whole time we were there. A very enjoyable evening. Thank you.

The staff are nowhere near as attentive, (sat behind the counter gossiping and stuffing their face with prawn crackers). The restaurant now only takes cash, and was was almost empty on a Saturday evening 8.30pm, never a good sign. The standard of the food is noticeably poorer under the new owners (it has gone from outstanding to borderline alright) and even though I asked twice if an additional dish was with this takeaway order, and twice received a reassuring Yes!!, wen I got home it was not, so like others I paid for something I didn't receive. If you want nothing special food at special food prices, with some of the dishes missing, from unprofessional staff in an almost empty restaurant, this is the place for you. I won't be going back as there are better restaurants locally.

Utterly awful, took 20 mins to even take our order, then missed a complete meal, offered no compensation only for me to do a 25 mile round trip to collect the missing items, this was a special treat fir my sons birthday, ruined. Food wasn’t even very good to boot. Will not be going back

Me and my husband visited here and the food was very good. We had a sharing starter, sweet chilli chicken, sweet and sour cantaneese and coconut rice. It was lovely and very well presented. The staff were very friendly. The decor needs freshening up and I would recommend a small doorway to the toilet door. We sat down next to a curtain only to discover the toilet door was right behind it. The plastic table covering is a bit tacky but the food and service more than make up for it.

Despite walking in without a reservation for a family of 4, they managed to fit us in for a mid week meal. The menu offers a wife variety of Chinese and Thai dishes and is of good quality. Ingredients seemed fresh and well prepared. Each dish has its own flavour and character, unlike some we’ve experienced where they all taste much the same and are caked in MSG. Service was friendly and efficient even with a mostly full restaurant and take-aways going out of the door. Caroline and her colleague (sorry, didn’t get her name!) were welcoming, friendly and accommodating.Borderline 5 star, but dishes are above average price based on what we’d normally expect to pay (set meal for 4 is £76, but we went a la carte, but in fairness you are in a tourist town in high season!) and worth noting that they only take cash.If you fancy a Chinese to Thai meal in Bude for either sit down or take-away Tian Di won’t disappoint

Great place with great food and Caroline the lady who served us was friendly and knowledgeable of the food that was on offer. Great value for money. We went there the last night we were in Bude but she (Caroline) wasn't there. Hope to see you again when we next visit. Keep on smiling

My family and I visited this restaurant twice - once to enjoy the Chinese Food and the second time to try the Thai food being served. Both occasions were good and we enjoyed the cuisine enormously. Caroline who served the Chinese food seemed very knowledgeable and gave us advice.

Had a takeaway from here. The food was delicious and staff were very friendly. Would highly recommend to others.

It was ok. Had worse, had better. The green curry was kind of gloopy but tasted good. The samosas and spring rolls were just plain odd (battered?)The yung chow chow fried rice was a bit dull and tasteless. The prawns in the prawn chow mein smelled less than fresh. The salt and pepper chips were superb and the house special chow mein was delicious. The chicken wings and sweet and sour king prawns were lovely. Crispy duck was so-so.

Tiandi definetly serves the best Chinese in Bude. Meals are always on point and delicious. We've eaten in lots of Chinese resturants all over the country and this one is proper. Fantastic professional service too and always quick to cook up a phone order for collection. Wouldn't go anywhere else for a local Chinese! 10/10!

Absolutely the worst food I've ever eaten from a Chinese take away!!!! Avoid at all costs!!!! Had salt and pepper chicken that you COULDN'T even chew and a chicken curry that was SO thick it wouldn't come out of the container. Full of MSG.....

Been here loads before was always great. Terrible food barely warm and tasteless. Waitress in a hoody not a good look. No welcome in not shown to a table as there was plenty empty ones. Place isn't very clean either. New owners have ruined what was a fantastic place to eat. Will not be going back.

This was my first visit to Tiandi...and was not disappointed. Superb food served quickly and piping hot. Great service from Caroline who was attentive and efficient. Already booked to go again for my son's 18th birthday and hope for another great evening out.

So....... We had a mixed starter. The won tons were greasy, satay chicken was as tough as old boots and sauce like paste, squid was bland and clearly not fresh considering their location.

To say this was the worst Chinese I’d ever had is an understatement! Me and my wife visited this place on Tuesday and it was nothing but a disappointment from the start. Firstly I asked what Chinese beer they did, the waitress didn’t know (I asked as it just said ‘Chinese beer’ on the menu.)

Had a take away from here last night and was not impressed. Mixed starters were very heavily battered,mains were chewy and Far too sweet (sweet and sour chicken a d crispy beef). Read the reviews on here before ordering so can only assume their local Chinese take away aren't as good as ours. Wouldn't eat from here again. My children love Chinese food but didn't rate it either. Husband didn't mind it.

Had a great Chinese at Tiandi this evening. The food tasted lovely and was served quickly. The staff are very conscientious, especially Caroline who was very welcoming and kept us entertained throughout. Would definitely come again if I was in the area.

Went here as fancied a cheeky Chinese. It did the job as had a vast selection of British-Chinese dishes but food didn't taste freshly cooked. The two waitresses were really lovely though and toilets also very nice for a restaurant

Popped into Bude tonight for a cheeky Chinese. Started with an old favourite of 1/5 crispy duck with pancakes, then we had king prawn with mushrooms, roast duck in plum sauce, crispy chilli beef and green chicken thai curry (spicy!). Service was slick, food was excellent and served quickly. As with most Chinese restaurants, lots of choice, and a thai selection as well. Would recommended if you fancy a Chinese meal and if you're in the vicinity of Bude.

Came here for a weekend and wasn't sure where to eat. Tried this Chinese restaurant and it was absolutely amazing!! Food was so good, it's actually the best Chinese I've ever had. Everything was fresh and piping hot, staff were lovely and attentive. Would definitely go back.

Popped in one evening in the week, quite empty then restaurant does takeaway as well as eating in. The restaurant was tastefully decorated and suited for a casual or birthday meal. Portion sizes are good and staff were friendly and the price reflected the in house eating ie: sweet & sour chicken balls (7 of them) £8

wife and i went for meal glad we booked because was full and turning people away, must be under new management, set menu was ok but not such good value as in the past. same as everywhere else got stung on the drinks bill. if you want a nice thai which is tasty, quick with great service this is the place for you

Arrived early evening without booking & were sat - served & paid within 1 hour - excellent value - 2 courses & drinks for £35. Food good & menu covers most popular options, nothing negative to say apart from only take cash at the time of this visit .

I understand Tiandis has changed hands recently. Used to be the best chinese/ Thai restaurant in the area. It's now okay but the food is nothing like it used to be. Its decent but that's all. we went as a party of 10 and the Staff really friendly despite all the noise we made,

We came to Ti andi in March with group of 11 people, unsure at first due to reading some poor reviews since tiandi changed ownership to Ti andi, but! Must say both the food and service was perfect!. Great food came out quickly and presented well!. Everyone was happy! And price wasn't bad too!. Would definitely go again!. . This was also a birthday party and they also gave us a birthday card and put up a banner and ballons!!. *Unrequested* But was nice to see they had really made an effort!.

Freshly made, excellent Thai food. Good Breakfast too. Very friendly staff couldnt do enough to help. Very clean inside. Very reasonably priced and top value for your money.

We stayed at the Premier Inn in Bude & decided we wanted to walk out to dinner - this place is about 2 minutes away from the Hotel - we booked a table & found the food to be very good & great value for money - they tried hard to give good service & overall we would recommend this restaurant or for takeaway-we have used other Chinese suppliers in Bude & this one is by far the best -take cash ✅

Firstly to clarify that this is now a Chinese restaurant, not Thai as in its previous guise and it has changed its name to Tian Di. Still offers some Thai dishes but these are an afterthought. Based on the food alone might have given it 4 stars but two things let it down - firstly food is served on cold plates so it loses its heat and freshness very quickly. Secondly it it is cash only, no credit cards, so if not prepared for this expect the walk of shame two doors down to the adjacent cashpoint.

Had an excellent meal here, although it was very quiet in the restauran for a Friday night. Our meal was brought quickly, tasted delicious and was competively priced. Waitress was friendly and was very helpful to our vegetarian with her choice of food. Would recommend for a visit.

We were in Bude for the weekend. Arriving in Bude slightly late in the evening we tried this restaurant. Food was quickly cooked and delivered. We had a selection to share. The food was all very nice. The restaurant is a bit tired and could do with a bit of a refurb, the men’s toilet was a bit of a mess. When we arrived there were signs on the door saying cash only so we had to divert to a cash machine. And at the end of the meal we asked the lady a question about Bude, she couldn’t understand us or speak English. The food was good and next time we’re in Bude we’d go again. Would I recommend? Yes if you want a quick bite to eat with no frills.

Had a Takeaway yesterday from Tiandi & have to say it was Fantastic,We ordered an mixture of Starters from Duck&Pancakes; to Spingrolls & Prawn Crackers,Followed by Sweet &Sour; Chicken,Beef Satay,Singapore Vermicelli & Chilli Crispy Shredded Beef & egg fried rice,Everything was cooked to perfection & the Staff were very nice & Loaded the meal into my car for my 79 year old father in law,we have been visiting Bude for the past 6 years & have always used this Takeaway & have always had a Brilliant Meal.

Myself and the wife visit Bude once a year and cant believe we have never visited before !! Well that's sorted as the food was amazing the lady serving was great and full of fun and it was such a relaxing evening we will be back and cant wait. Well done everyone xxxxxxxxxxx

Walked in greeted by a lovely lady who instantly made us feel so comfortable in a restaurant we’d never been to. Instantly the menu looked appetising and reasonably priced. The food came out very fast and perfectly presented. Working in hospitality myself I’m very critical! Me and my partner throughly enjoyed the night! Mainly down to the fanatic server Caroline who was the highlight of the evening! We couldn’t stop laughing! A credit to the company! Made us feel right home! Will be visiting again very soon!!!

Visited this restaurant on our first night in Bude. Ate out due to the hotel we were stopping at being busy with a function. Had a lovely meal, although rather expensive.

The staff couldnt be faulted, very friendly and effucient.The food was really enjoyable and the price excellent. I will definetly be going again.Bude needed a Chinese restaurant as no balance with the Indian restaurants.

The food here was really great, both the prawns and nuts were plentiful in the prawn and cashew dish. The noodles were tasty and made just as we had asked (fussy family member!!). The sizzling squid was very tasty and the sweet and sour a good choice.

Well Wednesday night in a cold Bude, and we fancied a Chinese, but where... So we drove down the main street and spotted TianDi from driving past, okay, it's not the fancy Chinese restaurants you get elsewhere in the country, but the food is hot and good with the portions being on the large side to say the least!!! We would definetly recommend it for a 'quick Chinese'

This used to be our favourite restaurant in Bude. It has been taken over by a local 'budget' Chinese restaurant and has gone right down hill. Give it a miss.

We went here as we were on holiday and wanted a Chinise meal for my wife 50th Birthday. The staff were very accomadating and even gave my wife a birthday card and put some baloons up for us. The food was wonderful and we had a great family meal.

Had an early evening Thai Meal with friends. Take away was busy but we were the only party dining in. Choice of dishes was extensive and the food excellent. Service was great. Friendinly staff.

Ended up going from london inn kilkhampton as power went out in villageThere were 8 of us and we had a great tasty meal food fresh hot and served with a smile excellent value for money thought it was going to be expensive for what we had but ended up 20 a head which included starters main and drinks would definitely go again

Okay so the place is tired and scruffy. The staff were friendly enough and accommodating as I'm not a fan of Chinese although one of them didn't really know the menu very well and at one point I noticed them talking about us behind the counter (whispering and looking and laughing) not sure what that was all about. Apart from this, they seemed okay. Food wasn't amazing but like I say, I'm not a huge fan of Chinese food as it is. Decor was tired. Overall I wouldn't return in a hurry.

Had a take away meal and not very good. Burnt prawn toast and crozzled duck. The chow mein was ok but i have had.much better. The two ladies behind the bar didnt have a Clue what they were doing and i had to point a drink out for a customer as they didnt know what it was !!!
