The place needs a complete refurbishment. It's a lovely old building and has just had the signs replaced which now reads correctly. Elgoods, the owners, could surely make this the lovely pub it used to be, with great food and a nice place to be. Wisbech is crying out for good eating places and this could be one of them.

I called in for a pint on Saturday lunchtime and the place was just about deserted. The football was on the big screen, while the only other customers were playing pool through in the bar. It is an Elgood's house and had Cambridge bitter cask ale. The service was fine and the prices reasonable.

Personal amable y gente amable.

Would like to say what a fantastic time I had down the three tuns wisbech tonight. The bar man behind bar was so polite and really welcoming. He must have been in his 30's, smartly dressed in shirt and tie. Not sure but he seemed like the manager or landlord. I will definitely be going back.

This use to be a fairly nice family pub with good food but upon me recent visit the barman (who was apparently the manager) was drunk And the atmosphere was horrible.

Very nice Steak meal , cannot fault the food. Only down side is the atmosphere in the lounge/ Restaurant. Lot of noise from Bar the evening we were there. As we drink in the bar can say it varies very much noise wise.

This pubs atmosphere is awful, there have been several times i have visited this pub and the manager has been drunk behind the bar or has had white powder round his nostrils after a "bathroom trip". The food tastes like it is heated up not freshly cooked when order was placed. I shall not be returning and it is not the family friendly pub i once thought it was.

I may be somwhat biased, given that the Three Tuns has been my local pub for some two and a half years, but I can honestly say that I would recommend it to anyone either living in or visiting Wisbech, thanks to the extremely well kept beers, good traditional English pub food, particularly the Sunday roast, the warm welcome extended to all visitors by the highly competent and really friendly staff and a great bunch of regulars who make everyone feel at home. The pub reopened in March 2014 after the previous landlord and landlady had left. They were a hard act to follow, but Matt and his team have followed it, continuing to maintain a high standard of customer service, offering some really well kept Elgoods' ales (my personal favourite is the Golden Newt) and excellently prepared food; the steak nights (every Thursday) and the Sunday roasts have proved particularly popular, and they are looking to extend their menu in the near future. The vibrant atmosphere in the Tuns is due, in no small part, to the programme of entertainment on offer. As well as a regular poker night, the pub offers live music, regular discos and karaoke and, after a gap of several months, the ever popular quiz night will be returning (the first one being this coming Tuesday 29th July at around 8pm). If you are interested in good, locally brewed real ale, traditional food, weekend entertainment, a bit of competition during the week and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, the Three Tuns is definitely worth a visit.

Great spread, lovely beer! Pub needs a big ovehaul, it is right out of the 70's. Pretty cool in a dirty, worn out, kitchsy sort of way. Staff were lovely.
