Me and my wife recently had Gastric sleeve surgery and contacted Three Flames prior to our visit to see if they could cater for smaller portions as we cannot eat big portions. The restaurant came straight back to us and said nothing is too much trouble and that they would cater for our needs no problem.... and that is what they did. We have not enjoyed a meal and eating experience so much in years. This place is now our families favourite restaurant to eat at. The food is of outstanding quality and the service you receive is amazing,nothing is too much trouble. Anyone who is thinking of trying Three Flames please do!!! you will not be disappointed. We will definitely be returning here!!! Thank you to everyone who made our experience at Three flames such an enjoyable one.

Should of been there Saturday night. We'd book a table 2 weeks in advance for valentines just to be told we had no booking. Won't be attempting twice.

If you’re looking for a night out in the style of Frankie & Benny’s—where birthday celebrations happen at nearly every table, sparklers fly past every five minutes, and the music adds to the lively (or chaotic) atmosphere—this is the place for you. The food itself is average and overpriced for what you get. While the steaks are cooked to the requested temperature, they’re water-bathed before being finished on the grill, which leaves them lacking in flavour. Additionally, they aren’t rested properly, affecting their texture. As for the option to have edible gold on your plate—I personally find it pretentious and gimmicky. Instead of focusing on flashy presentation, they should put more effort into simply cooking great food without rolling it in glitter.

Best steak I have had in a very long time! We came for my little brothers birthday but did not tell the restaurant this. The waiter noticed my brother wearing his birthday badge and brought a dessert with a sparkler in which I thought was a very nice touch and shows that the staff there take a lot of notice. Will definitely be coming back

Went for a fifty birthday,food and surroundings were top rate, chose private room for the occasion,staff were very nice and nothing was too much for them .One of the best places around this area we have been to.👍

Came here last night for the 1st time, and it was outstanding. The food was very nice. The cocktails were banging. The onion flower was so tasty. Our hostess Natalie was very friendly & always attentive. We will definitely be back.

The staff are so lovely, I don’t usually pay service charges when automatically added to the bill as we like to tip when it’s deserved but they definitely deserve it at three flames. The food was outstanding, and so was the service. Such a pleasant experience. Thank you

Decided to go here after seeing their Facebook posts. Food looked amazing on there but omg still wasn’t prepared for good it would be! Blooming onion was perfectly seasoned. Sauce was lovely. Had the fillet steak burger. Was so tender and well cooked.. Service was also second to none! Their attention to detail wasn’t too much but not too little. Loved the ambience! Well done guys!

Had a lovely meal this evening, I have no complaints. The onion flower was amazing and the steak cooked perfectly. My partner said it was the best burger he's ever had. We spoke to a member of staff about the food and he said its all made in house even the bread buns. Would definitely recommend, thank you.

Food is delicious just a shame they automatically add a service charge of 10% to the bill.

They falsely claim to sell halal meat, but when I asked, they admitted that only the Japanese Wagyu isn’t halal. As a Muslim, this is completely unacceptable, especially since they couldn’t provide HMC certification to back their claims. This is blatant deception, and I urge any Muslims reading this to avoid this place. Their claims are misleading and disrespectful to our beliefs.

Let’s just say, I’m Argentinian and Eastern European, and we love our meat—and know a thing or two about it! The quality here? Absolutely top-notch. I couldn’t get enough. The surf & turf was pure perfection, melting in my mouth with every bite. A true culinary delight! The staff were incredibly polite and welcoming, making the experience even better. Whether you’re hosting a business meeting or celebrating something special, this is the place to be!

Lovely place and amazing food as always at Three Flames, we were really pleased with Sunday roast; delicious beef dinner with all the components: cauliflower cheese, broccoli, potatoes and yorkshire pudding! Worth to mention rich gravy.. Definitely recommend dine here, we will be back.

You have to try this place it is fabulous. We are looked after from the minute we step through the doors to when we leave. Superb food and service, we will continue to return and highly recommend anyone to give this fabulous place a go.

The Restaurant is simply EXCELLENT! - can't even suggest an area of improvement! The food was of high quality steaks that were prepared to exact requests and VERY tasty. Will be going back again soon.

Recently had a Work Xmas gathering. Food was top notch i would recommend the surf and turf and the truffle oil mac and cheese. Fair price for fantastic food and service.

Paid to "hire" the private room. It's next to some noisy banging noisy hammering room, no music, no accessable entry so had to struggle with steps, lift was out of order. Noisy constant banging throughout the whole meal, did I mention no music in private room? Also, when you book on their website it states "deposit", turns out it's room hire and they don't tell you, their manager reckons you should know that a deposit is an actual charge and not really a deposit. Paid service charge for crap service too. I won't go back and neither will the other 10 I was with. Did I mention the noisy banging throughout the entire meal?

I don’t understand gold leaf on steaks, it’s not nutritious, it’s not digestible, it’s ostentatious and just sort of in bad taste in the world of so much poverty. The food is nice, great service, lovely menu.

Fantastic experience tonight. Been watching the videos on social media and come down, my expectations were exceeded by a country mile. Food and service was amazing, price was good for quality of food and the building was top notch.

Ok the steaks are small but they are very tasty Our service was shocking and that was maybe because she was very new to the job or it appeared to be. We waited 25 mins just to get drinks when we arrived. The restaurant was however very busy. Onion flower is recommended it’s something special. The Facebook steaks in the adverts are a lot bigger than the real thing. £310 for 6 of us incl tip.

I don’t like the idea of a restaurant adding a service charge to my bill. Its a choice whether to tip staff. Nobody should automatically add it to a bill. The restaurant is a nice place. Really well set out with friendly staff. Food is good but not reflective of the price. Meat wasn’t melt in your mouth & a little tough considering the price we played. I don’t t mind paying good money. But price should reflect the quality. I think for similar money Miller & Carter is better. As is Rythre Arms.

Staff were attentive and allowed some to order from set menu with only 10 mins left as we were late due to an emergency on the train. Starters came and went almost straight away just after 7pm. Had to chase staff at 7:50 as no mains and had to leave for a train at 8:10. Steak wasn’t one large piece and was heavily salted which spoilt it. Thinner pieces were over cooked for some. Had to rush through mains and dessert so we could get a train. Staff kindly took off service charge due to issues. Aware this is all over tik tok but it wasn’t worth the hype unless you go for the insta.

Well worth a visit if you love beef in all it's forms.😋

Lovely steak house that does a bit of show cooking and have that bizarre gold leaf trend that I’ll never understand! The starters were lovely and looking around the room there were some amazing dishes coming out of the kitchen, the only criticism we had was with the Three Flames Sliders, the caramelised onions were not really caramelised at all and didn’t really add to the dish other than making the buns very soggy and I was surprised that the burgers included cheap cheese singles like McDonald’s rather than actual melted cheese, especially at this price point?! Other things such as the Peppercorn Sauce were such high quality it’s a shame it was let down by easily resolved things like this.

Three Flames has to be making the best steak in Yorkshire, if not in the entire country! Absolutely finger-licking delicious steaks. Frankly speaking, everything we ordered was perfect too: the onion flower and beef sushi for starters set the bar so high I thought nothing could beat it, but then the steaks with chimichuri sauce arrived and we were in heaven! Excellent customer service as well. A place I’m looking forward to coming back to many more times! Absolutely in love!

Absolutely fantastic restaurant. My wife and I visited last night and had the halloumi and beef spaghetti starters. Both dishes were beautifully cooked and full of flavour. Mains were the fillet steak and cheeseburger. Both main dishes were brilliant, well cooked and sizeable portions. The peppercorn sauce and chunky fries were the perfect accompaniment to the steak. Service was fast and friendly and with drinks the bill was £91. Amazing value meal in a beautiful setting. Will definitely be back

All excellent. A little pricey but great for special occasion. It us up a flight of stairs so not accessible for wheelchairs etc. But worth enquiring about that. Free Carpark at rear all good.

steaks are quite thin and nothing special, not sure if other reviewers have had a good steak before, but I can assure you I have, and this is not amazing steak. Really disapointed to be fair, get same standard in a chain pub, for half the cost. even my herby fries did not really taste right

Nothing but praise for this place! Been meaning to go for ages given how local it is and am so impressed. Great service, great atmosphere, great decor and most importantly…fantastic food! The onion flower and beef ‘spaghetti’ are a must for a starter! The steak main was so tender and cooked perfectly and all round excellent value for money given the overall quality on offer. Just nothing to complain about and will absolutely be back again…and again!

Tabel of 6 arrived at 19:20 for a 19:30 booking, booking was messed up by restaurant so we was moved to a private room after almost being turned away. Starters finally came at 20:30, mains didn't arrive till 21:30. The food quality was excellent, delicious and cooked to perfection.

Fab food well prepared nice surroundings attentive staff

Starter was amazing, we shared it, too much for 1 I think. We had the 35oz tomahawk as a sharer. The steak was cooked well but at best luke warm. It must be difficult to cook a steak medium rare that thick and it be hot but this was quite cold. For a 70 quid steak I also expected more than 1 half tomato and 3 bits of asparagus. Also I don't agree with a fiver on top for chips. Overall a good meal but for over £120 I expect better. Service was excellent though.

Amazing service- could not fault! Thank you so much for our free drink for my partner’s birthday, it really is the tiny touches that make your experience incredible. Thank you to our waitress and to all staff. Highly recommend the onion flower as a sharer, chicken skewers were amazing- the flatbread! Short rib was incredible too. The sticky toffee pudding to finish- delicious!

The Three Flames is absolutely lovely inside with a great atmosphere. We were seated in the bar area when we visited. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was outstanding, particularly the onion flower starter. This is best as a sharer to be honest. We shared it three ways, and it was plenty big enough! The only downside really was that our mains were a little slow, though to be fair, the restaurant was extremely busy during our visit and it really wasn't a problem for us. Just more time to chat and enjoy a drink. The staff were very attentive throughout our visit, reguarly topping up water and we never had to look around to try to get someone's attention if we needed a top up of bar drinks. A personal pet hate of mine is that there is a service charge added onto the bill. I will always tip if I've had good service, but prefer to have the choice of whether to tip and how much. Overall, it was a fantastic meal out and highly recommended. We will definitely be returning.

Not sure why the great reviews, average steaks, average and bad sides (spinach side is awful), really loud music in background, mixed with happy birthday music every 15mins, bit like TGI Fridays. Also 80 mins between starter and nauns. Price is way too high for this level, £119 for 2 starters, 2 mains and 2 drinks. Not recommended, won't return sadly.

Dined here for a special birthday, the food, service was first class. However, as there was a group of 5 we were not in the main restaurant, the room was very noisy and did somewhat spoil the atmosphere. Overall though a lovely meal the steak was excellent.

The staff really go out of their way to make the experience perfect. We were. A big table (11 of us) however we never experienced any issues with meals coming out at the same time as the others!

Beautiful food, the creamy spinach is gorgeous, all the staff were lovely and polite, made you feel welcome, cannot fault this restaurant at all. Definately be going back. It is also fully accessible, lift outside the building to take you upstairs, tables in the terrace are good for wheelchairs.

First visit , lovely modern building , great atmosphere, attentive knowledgeable and very helpful staff . Steaks and sliders were incredible. As was everything else. Highly recommended and looking forward to our next visit.

A few of us went in here just for drinks, but we were too tempted by the look of the food. This place is a modern style steakhouse, with all the range of meats on show as you walk in. We were greeted by a lovely waiteress who was very helpful and kind all night long. She continuously filled up our water without asking, which I thought was a nice touch. The food itself was fresh, and everything tasted really good. We all had haloumi for a starter, which I couldn't fault. The only slight issue was that our burgers weren't piping hot. They were slightly cold. However, the taste of them made up for the inconvenience. Appart from that, it was a 10/10 meal.

From entry to leaving absolute 10/10. Food service and atmosphere all was on point. Great place will definitely be returning. I am somewhat a type of customer if you imagine Gordon Ramsay in kitchen nightmares😂, but this place left me impressed. 👍🏼

Visited this restaurant after seeing rave reviews on line and it didn’t disappoint. Beautiful decor to a very high standard. Our server Deena was so friendly and helpful and made us very welcome, in fact all the staff seemed lovely and happy. We ordered the filet burger with herb fries and the 8oz sirloin steak with chunk chips. Oh my goodness, the best steak I’ve ever had, cooked to perfection! We can not wait for our next visit.

Amazing food, top service, highly recommend!

The only thing I liked here was fillet steak which still was served strangelybecause it comes in three pieces. The waiter was nice and attentive in a non overly manner. As a starter we had onion flower and beef sushi. The onion wasn't fully done so it was like eating raw onion in some places and it was tasting bitter. Beef sushi was disappointing - they describe it as "beef tenderloin sushi rolls, melted parmesan, creamy avocado purée with wasabi, crispy potatoes". Now to my surprise when I cut it, it was a massive ball of rice with merely any beef as the slices of meat are so so thin. I was hoping it is a ball of beef where the outside is nicely seared and inside is raw with the ingredients listed in menu set aside. The whole dish smells of chemicals as they use a gas torch blower. Not nice. We wanted some veggies so asked for asparagus - we were served with 6 stems! Calculation is £1 per stem! No choice with your carbs really as they only have chips. My partner ordered t-bone which was rather chewy and he also expected it to be much thicker. We always leave the tip, and we did it this time too, how shocked my partner was when in the car he checked the receipt and it says they already add service charge of 10%. The lady taking our tip didn't say a word about it. My partner looked at the price on the bottom of the bill and added over 10% of the sum as it was making it a round number. We ended up spending £180. Not telling us about service charge made us feel as we were robbed. We think we will stick to Miller and Carter which never disappoints.

The steak was beautiful staff amazing
