Not sure why the great reviews, average steaks, average and bad sides (spinach side is awful), really loud music in background, mixed with happy birthday music every 15mins, bit like TGI Fridays. Also 80 mins between starter and nauns. Price is way too high for this level, £119 for 2 starters, 2 mains and 2 drinks. Not recommended, won't return sadly.

Fantastic food ,friendly staff , very clean

Dined here for a special birthday, the food, service was first class. However, as there was a group of 5 we were not in the main restaurant, the room was very noisy and did somewhat spoil the atmosphere. Overall though a lovely meal the steak was excellent.

The staff really go out of their way to make the experience perfect. We were. A big table (11 of us) however we never experienced any issues with meals coming out at the same time as the others!

Beautiful food, the creamy spinach is gorgeous, all the staff were lovely and polite, made you feel welcome, cannot fault this restaurant at all. Definately be going back. It is also fully accessible, lift outside the building to take you upstairs, tables in the terrace are good for wheelchairs.

Steak burger surprised me it was good.

First visit , lovely modern building , great atmosphere, attentive knowledgeable and very helpful staff . Steaks and sliders were incredible. As was everything else. Highly recommended and looking forward to our next visit.

A few of us went in here just for drinks, but we were too tempted by the look of the food. This place is a modern style steakhouse, with all the range of meats on show as you walk in. We were greeted by a lovely waiteress who was very helpful and kind all night long. She continuously filled up our water without asking, which I thought was a nice touch. The food itself was fresh, and everything tasted really good. We all had haloumi for a starter, which I couldn't fault. The only slight issue was that our burgers weren't piping hot. They were slightly cold. However, the taste of them made up for the inconvenience. Appart from that, it was a 10/10 meal.

From entry to leaving absolute 10/10. Food service and atmosphere all was on point. Great place will definitely be returning. I am somewhat a type of customer if you imagine Gordon Ramsay in kitchen nightmares😂, but this place left me impressed. 👍🏼

First time at the Restaurant with 10 adults and a child, for a birthday ,the food was amazing the staff were so good, even delivered care cake and cut it, We will returning again soon so glad we picked this restaurant.

Ordered cheeseburger & chips. The burger was lovely, no grease or anything, the onions were sauted & very tasty. Herby chips a nice touch. My favourite was the salad, the dressing was amazing. Thank you!

Visited this restaurant after seeing rave reviews on line and it didn’t disappoint. Beautiful decor to a very high standard. Our server Deena was so friendly and helpful and made us very welcome, in fact all the staff seemed lovely and happy. We ordered the filet burger with herb fries and the 8oz sirloin steak with chunk chips. Oh my goodness, the best steak I’ve ever had, cooked to perfection! We can not wait for our next visit.

The only thing I liked here was fillet steak which still was served strangelybecause it comes in three pieces. The waiter was nice and attentive in a non overly manner. As a starter we had onion flower and beef sushi. The onion wasn't fully done so it was like eating raw onion in some places and it was tasting bitter. Beef sushi was disappointing - they describe it as "beef tenderloin sushi rolls, melted parmesan, creamy avocado purée with wasabi, crispy potatoes". Now to my surprise when I cut it, it was a massive ball of rice with merely any beef as the slices of meat are so so thin. I was hoping it is a ball of beef where the outside is nicely seared and inside is raw with the ingredients listed in menu set aside. The whole dish smells of chemicals as they use a gas torch blower. Not nice. We wanted some veggies so asked for asparagus - we were served with 6 stems! Calculation is £1 per stem! No choice with your carbs really as they only have chips. My partner ordered t-bone which was rather chewy and he also expected it to be much thicker. We always leave the tip, and we did it this time too, how shocked my partner was when in the car he checked the receipt and it says they already add service charge of 10%. The lady taking our tip didn't say a word about it. My partner looked at the price on the bottom of the bill and added over 10% of the sum as it was making it a round number. We ended up spending £180. Not telling us about service charge made us feel as we were robbed. We think we will stick to Miller and Carter which never disappoints.

You will struggle to find a better steak than here, went here for a birthday meal tonight. Staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for us but did so without being overbearing. Actually made steak rare when I asked for rare rather than overcooking it. The only negative have to say is soft drinks are very expensive for the size. Will be returning

I recently dined at Three Flames Steak House, and it was an exceptional experience. The restaurant is beautifully designed, creating a lovely ambiance. The staff were polite and attentive, adding to the overall positive atmosphere. The food was incredible, with every dish thoughtfully prepared. The steak, in particular, was cooked to perfection. The only downside to our visit was the disruptive behavior of children at nearby tables, which wasn't the restaurant's fault. It's just a reminder that some patrons can't handle their kids. Everything else was perfect. Just be aware of the service charge on the receipt; it was significantly higher than a usual tip, which might catch some off guard. Despite this, Three Flames Steak House is highly recommended for a superb dining experience.

Well what can I say the food is incredible an the service is outstanding you need to come here I'm the most picky moody hard to please person you could meet an my opinion its 12/10 here unreal this is my 2nd visit me an the wife love it here the don't wait get yourself down to three flames like yesterday , thank you guys again , from Jack

on arrival the place looked amazing as we walk in a man asked if we had a booking we said yes never asked the name of the booking just said how many people and asked if we wanted the terrace or in the restaurant.we wanted the terrace which was disappointing as we thought we could look out of the window but never mind.we was taking to our table given menu never asked if we wanted any drinks a waiter came over asked if we would like water we said yes but can we order some cocktails which then he took our drinks order. drinks arrived then they took out food order. all the food was amazing nobody came and asked if everything was ok then i had to leave my table to grab a waiter to order more drinks which took awhile to arrive on the drinks arriving i asked if we could order desserts was surprise they didn't do custard with the sticky toffee pudding but it was nice.again nobody came over to ask if everything was ok i had to leave my table again to request the bill. The waiter brought the bill which we all said can you take the service charge off we would have lefted the service charge on if they would have been better customer service as the food was amazing but the customer service let you down big time.The chef is doing a amazing job but the service lets you done.

Chicken kebabs. NO SAUCE. so dry on flat bread. Why not offer a garlic, chilli or some kind of sauce because it was dry. One little tomato in salad. For extra chunky chips they are frozen! For an extra £5. So expensive. Then a service charge of £9 added.I don't mind paying but at least serve fresh chips not from a frozen bag. Also not much choice. Service was good. Polite enough staff.. overly expensive for What you get. 😒

We probably made the mistake of going here for the first time for a Sunday dinner because it was extremely disappointing and will probably stop us returning to try the full menu. Considering this restaurant specialises is meats, I can’t believe they serve Sunday dinners with readymade bisto gravy! I can’t remember the last Sunday dinner I had in a restaurant with bisto gravy. My Husbands was so thick it wasn’t even mixed properly and was like jelly which he didn’t realise until he started to pour it on his food so he asked if they could pour the gravy off his plate and they said they would make him a new roast. This arrived 5 minutes later with no gravy on the side at all so my Husband asked for some and she said she would get some, it took about another 5 minutes to bring the gravy and by this time he had eaten half of it. The gravy ruined both of the dishes how disappointing for a “steak” restaurant. The amount of chicken on my roast was poor too compared to some. Wouldn’t return.

My brother and sister-in-law brought me and my husband here for my birthday and it was absolutely fantastic the food was to die for and the staff was brilliant the atmosphere was so calm and relaxing I would be definitely recommending this place to everyone I know the staff even brought me a dessert with a sparkling candle and had wrote on the plate HAPPY BIRTHDAY in chocolate sauce..i asked if i could take the bones home for my dog so they went a wrapped them up for me honestly it was an amazing night.

Had a great time with my friends and the food was excellent! Hats off to Saeed who helped organise our friends birthday surprise, delivered top class service and I’ll be coming back because of him!

Fantastic service here. Very attentive. The food was very good with the Onion Flower being excellent. Loses a star due to my fillet steak being cut into 3 thinner slices. I prefer a thicker steak. Flavours were good. Also adding on 10 percent service to the bill will put off some people. Service charges should always be at the discretion of the customer and the customer should pay what they feel is fair. I would have paid a healthy tip anyway as the service was great. I would go again as the food is very nice

From walking in its got the wow factor, the staff can't do enough for you they are not in your face or anything just really good at assessing your needs, something we british were world leaders in once upon a time, however we could learn a valuable lesson from this multicultural business, and then the food absolutely 💯 spot on the best can't praise enough can't recommend enough

I am surprised that this place has such high reviews as I would not come here again, not worth the prices!! I wanted to award 3 stars but when we came home we added the food items up and it came to £96.50 total yet we paid £106.50. Either way the food is ridiculously overpriced, Starter: Dried Halloumi with very little balsamic and 1 cherry tomato chopped in half Main course I had the Angus steak (£18) And my partner had the (£30) my partners came in 3 small pieces. The solitary half piece of grilled tomato was cold and 3 pieces of asparagus I had creamy spinach as a side dish which was nice but an absolute rip off at £6 Dessert: ice cream, the menu is unclear about the flavours, it says 'chocolate with seasalt or clotted cream and raspberry ripple' but apparently there were more flavours that weren't listed? The 'clotted cream' and 'raspberry ripple' are separate flavours The sticky toffee pudding I have seen on other reviews as having plenty of sauce but mine was very dry! :-( It was difficult to communicate with the staff due to language barrier but I will say the waiters were really attentive and pleasant.

Looked after from the minute we stepped through the doors to when we left. Superb food and service, will return and highly recommend to give this fabulous place a go.

We visited three flames as a group and the staff couldn't of been more attentive, they made sure we were happy with everything and kept us topped up on drinks. Very clean and welcoming! Definitely worth a visit if you haven't been the food was phenomenal will be back soon with the family.

Had a couple of Steaks, halloumi and couscous. The steak was just perfect and the rest of the food was excellent. I should have ordered the Tomahawk, definitely on the list next time. Gets a bit noisy around the bar area, so maybe not what I would call a nice quite romantic place, but all in all good experience.

The food was good, the filet steak was very nice. The beef sushi is more about the experience of having it cooked in front of you than the actual flavour of the food. All the staff was very nice, but there were some issues such as staff members being disciplined in front of customers, and staff turning around and answering other staff members/ customers in the middle of their sentence while talking to you. Not a showstopper, but good food.

What a great night! Most restaurants closed on Monday but not Three flames! We have celebrated my sister birthday with a steak burger and a nice chicken meal. Food fresh, delicious and the atmosphere relaxing. Great song loudness which not cause people shouting across. Great service with waiters and kitchen and bar staff smiling. We had an extra guest, which was not a problem for moving the seat to a bigger table. Thank you for an amazing night! 🎉

T-Bone for me and a veggie burger for my wife. The steak was perfectly cooked, delicious prime quality meat. The best steak house in the UK, so far.

Lovely venue,well laid out. Service excellent. We were looked after very well by a young lady(name unknown). We had the set menu offered between 16.00hrs and 18.00hrs and had one starter,two main courses and two desserts plus two drinks. Very reasonably priced and very enjoyable.

We visited here on Saturday for the first time. Restaurant decor was lovely. Everything was finished to a high standard. Food and service was very good. Music was a tad loud but am sure they would have knocked it down if I had asked. prices were about what you would expect in a good steak restaurant. I had A Tbone steak it was £30. £4 extra for chips and £4 for sauce. So comparitive with miller and carter as there Tbone is £38. They offer a set menu on week days and Saturday lunch time which is £30 for 3 courses. Food was really good. I would definitely visit again.

This restaurant struggles with its identity. For a local restaurant in Wakefield, it's trying too hard to be an upmarket establishment, akin to crafthouse or the ivy in Leeds, and pricing equally expensive for the area. I've had a meal at The Ivy in London of a similar menu, which was less than the bill at Three Flames. The decor was a strange mix of quality fittings, yet had menus like a Spanish restaurant with plastic pages and metal table numbers like a local cafe. Unfortunately, the food didn't match up to the pricing, I'd say the quality was below what I'd expected, I've certainly had better meals at other restaurants in nearby Ossett The staff were friendly, however came over a little pretentious at times, clearly aligned to the identity trying to be portrayed. It is not a Michelin star restaurant. I'm sorry to say I won't be returning, a real shame I was really hoping I would become a regular.

We’ve been here a handful of times now and it never disappoints! The last few times we’ve been have all been for the Sunday Lunch, and it really is one of the best Sunday lunches in the Wakefield area. £23 for two courses and wonderfully good meat, along with a good selection of accompaniments makes it a brilliant choice.

Amazing service from start to finish. From being seated at the table, wine and water poured, food came out very quickly but was nice and fresh. The steaks were cooked to perfection, so flavoursome and exceptional value for money! I’d highly recommend and will most certainly will be returning!

Been here 4 times and I’ll be returning again next week. I can’t recommend this place enough, I’ve honestly never had a better steak, The place is really classy inside and fantastic service. Food is always cooked to perfection, You can tell a lot of pride goes into what they do. Three flames is the only place I will go for steak now and will continue to spread the word about this 5* restaurant . Keep on doing what you’re doing guys.

The best burgers in Wakefield for sure who knows if not in the whole West Yorkshire! Fresh, well seasoned, simple and perfectly cooked on the charcoal grill. First time in a while I have no regrets after takeaway. Highly recommended!

Sunday lunch here was great also running was there al’a carte menu,we chose 2 Sunday lunches 2 children’s and the whopping tomahawk steak which was dry aged for 30 days at least full flavour and cooked over the charcoals,I’ve had steak all over and this was my favourite so far,what a beautiful restaurant three flames is warm and so comfortable and the staff simply can’t do enough for yiou,we have two young children and as you know here they are child friendly,if you are looking for a just a couples or a family meal they can accommodate everyone there’s plenty of space no squashed tables and there is even a lift if you need. All in all I can’t recommend enough worth a visit.

Booked for a birthday treat. Service was shoddy with lots of different waiters/waitresses. The waiter that took our order initially however was great! The A5 wagyu was lovely however the T bone and the fillet steak were below par. Fillet steak was presented in 3 slices rather than a chunk of fillet and grizzly. The T bone was soooo thin with hardly any meat on the bone. After a long wait for the bill, we then, after sitting twiddling our thumbs for 20 minutes, had to find someone who could take our payment. We were positioned next to a large table who were also celebrating a birthday but were so loud, we were unable to enjoy any conversation for our birthday meal. We made it clear when booking we had an elderly person in a wheelchair with us for our birthday celebration, so would have expected them to position us somewhere else. So whilst the A5 was good, the rest was disappointing sadly.

Came to the restaurant on Friday night booked in for 7.45 with my 2 children, Absolute shambles had heard really good things but left annoyed and kids starving ended up at mcdonalds. I know it was busy and had a large party booked in... but had to chase up the drinks, the starters turned up for the adults but kids didn't arrive, had to wait another 15 mins until they turned up. At half nine no more food turned up tables that arrived after us had been given there starters and eating their mains?? Ended up speaking to the manager to chase up the mains was promised he would find out and let me know he never even came back. My husband went to the speak to the manager 15 mins later, was speaking to other customers that had waited over 2 hrs for their mains. Ended up leaving and paying for what we did eat, Really disappointed, the service was shocking. Will not be back

Absolutely shambolic, had to ask to order drinks and food, had to ask for the food to be served, orders were wrong, bill was wrong and staff didn't seem to know what to do. Even with the January discount the food was massively over priced. Avoid here and go to Abdul's next door for better food, service and prices!!

We had a lovely date night here a few days ago. Food was delicious, with portions being a lot bigger than I was expecting, and staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. The atmosphere was quiet as we went early in the evening, so it almost felt like we were being watched at points, in anticipation of us requiring anything, but once it got busier, it was fine.

The restaurant, staff and food are all fantastic. Cannot recommend this place enough, everything from an intimate dinner date to a family/group meal.

This was the worst steak I’ve ever had. I normally would choose a fillet steak however was told it would come up on three cuts of meat which I found strange. So I ordered the rib-eye instead. It was the worst tasting ribeye ever. It tasted more like ham than anything. I assume the meat was off as I have no other idea why it tasted like that. I would never come here again, especially for the price and lack of menu items.

A bit of a mixed bag tbh, starter wasn’t great not much flavour and the wrong sauce to go with the onion flower. Main course - Tomahawk was very good, sides bland and felt there was no work or effort gone into them. Firstly I don’t understand why the meat is in the counter, you can’t pick which size steak you want as there’s 5/6 on the menu. But no choice to pick, which surely would equal more profit for the owner but non existent. Secondly the waitresses have no knowledge or experience in an environment such as three flames, not attentive, brought the main out when we hadn’t finished our starter and because it’s an open kitchen I could see the main course sat there until I had finished - not great. Finally, from what I have seen the business is up for sale. Not sure if this down to new premises or that the business isn’t working. But, this was clearly shown in the owners body language and mannerisms throughout my time there. Which lends itself to that the money isn’t where it needs to be, which is a huge Shame TBH. The restaurant is in the wrong location but could excel hugely if it was closer towards Sandal 5 mins down the road. Verdict 7/10 as the tomahawk was excellent but there is multiple things which could be improved upon .
