Ash was absolutely amazing! Super informative about all the dishes on the menu and how to really enjoy them! Great guy!

Been here for the first time to try the Syhiba restaurant and welcoming straight away when you walk in, took us to our table, Ash came to explain the early bird offer on to save us money but for the same portion size and go through the menu and spices with us, the portion size were excellent to say it was a deal, the normal size nan bread comes on a rack which we didn't expect and the taste was mouth watering with every bite, definitely coming back again and try other options on the menu.

Ash, Gagan and Wasim were fabulous

Probably the best in Wakefield! Always excellent food and good atmosphere with great service too. The Early bird menu is great value for money. Please note it is cash only .

All the staff were very welcoming. Ash was lovely, lively, welcoming and very informative. The lamb chops were excellently cooked and well seasoned and the special lamb and chicken karahi's (served in the pan after 30 mins cooking) were a taste sensation, the spicing was delicate and the meat just fell apart in the mouth. The mixed starter was also excellent quality with a variety of delectable dishes (the seekh kebab was tender and the bhaji was crispy on the outside and soft in the middle) 🤤🤤 We will definitely be back 😀😀

Went for a meal New Year’s Eve and was greeted by Ash he went through the menu with us all and me and my wife ordered dishes from his recommendation and they were all absolutely delicious he asked us about spices that we liked and he got it spot on . All the other dishes were lovely too our friends loved it too. Great food , great staff , definitely going back 👍🏻

This place is amazing the early bird menu fantastic choice and value. They use some of the finest spices to give you that real orthentic flavours and textures. An the waiter Ash was really great at making everyone feel welcome and went in to detail about the your dish and and flavour from the spices.

Not eaten in One meal was so salty I couldn’t eat it The vegi dishes have hardly any veg in them So when I asked for extra veg I got charged an extra £2 If there was more veg and less sauce I’d be happy Dish tonight had I piece of courgette and a couple of red peppers Plenty of cheese I asked for extra veg ! No overly happy Wont return

Starters good, prawn puri and liver tikka. Had two prawn biryanis, not good disappointing flavours, no depth. Mushroom and potato balti was OK. Probably won't get takeaway from here again.

Superb food, brilliant lamb, great keema, delicious chicken tikka and…bring your own alcohol. Best curry in the area…up there with Akbars in Leeds, only more friendly and lower cost (sorry Akbars - your lamb chops are still the best in the Universe) (Ash knows what he’s on about too (don’t tell him though))

Probably the best curry place in Wakefield. Amazing food Great service Free car park at the rear of the restaurant or a payment car park next door. Good menu selection with lots of vegan / vegetarian options. They will also make to order Cash only, or bank transfer. Early bird menu is a good deal. Waiters Ash and “H” are very entertaining and provide good knowledge of the dishes. Food - Good flavours and decent amount of heat, lots of choice.

What can I say another amazing meal. Wid finally convinced me to change from my korma butter chicken and it was absolutely gorgeous. Excellent experiance,we put them to the test and they killed it,Ordered 6 totally different starters and meals all with diffrent sides, Nan bread on cow horns were fantastic ,rice done to perfection. The main cources could not be faulted along with the sundries and starters. One of the main reasons we keep returning is the Staff,there are three or four female members of staff work at this particular establishment and along with the rest of the staff they certainly add to the top level of service which we have become accustomed to expect. I would highly recommend if your looking to dine out in Wakefield ,this is the place for Asian food and hospitality. Looking forward to returning early 2025. Biggest waste of time. Ordered a veggie takeaway. When it arrived it was mostly sauce with hardly any veggies. Ended up in the bin and ruined my evening. Don’t waste your money at this restaurant.

It’s the kind of place that feels both special for a celebratory meal yet comfortable enough for a casual dining experience. For the main course, I opted for the signature Syhiba’s special chicken tikka balti, and the nambali did not disappoint. Every ingredient felt fresh and thoughtfully sourced, which really elevated the overall experience.

If you want a sit down curry in Wakefield. This is the place. The food is everything you want, flavoursome and a filling amount. The staff are without doubt some of the best in Wakefield. Accommodating and even joined in with our Xmas celebrations. Outstanding restaurant.
