Its off a main road up a narrow cobbled street, easily missed. Only 3 ales on, again all pale, citrus or fruity albeit kept quite adequate.

Four resl ales and two ciders. Yet again in the CAMRS Good Beer Guide.

The Three Fishes Inn is a 15th Century Building on the tiny, narrow, cobbled fish street in the medieval part of the city. There was an excellent choice of beers larger and cider, including five cask conditioned hand pulled real ales. The ones we tried were in excellent condition. The staff and locals are very friendly. This great pub is featured in the Camra good beer guide. It's one of my all-time favourite pubs.

We found this place by accident when looking for a drink it is so old and quaint . But one thing I found was its smells of wee not sure if it is wee or the old building but it does need a little tlc because I would not want to eat here if the food was really good. Staff seemed very friendly the drinks were a little pricy to. I know its old and quaint but if its wee and I'm sure it is then it needs to be freshened up . Before I walked in a man having a cigarette said you will get used to the smell this should have been a warning but I was willing to give this old pub a chance.

Shrewsbury. The town that pretty much sleeps on a Sunday and Monday apparently. Well, that was our experience walking around the town. However, it led us to the Three Fishes. When we entered it was nearly empty, save for a couple of regulars having an argument. Not the best start. But after that quietened down, and more people came in straight afterwards, it turned into what it should be. A nice little pub, with good staff and a good atmosphere. We had a couple of drinks but as it was closed for the rest of our stay we couldn't go back, although we would have.

Not a bad pub but needs to have a warmer atmosphere, especially at Christmas time, not much in Christmas decor and the saddest Christmas tree I've ever seen with one string of lights and about 5 decorations. There were plenty of drink options but not a very warm, friendly welcome, I get that it's busy, but... as it's Christmas, I've been kind with the stars.

Popped in on the off chance because our regular venu was closed. The place was deserted, with only two tables occupied, which is generally an ominous sign for me. However, the waiter was very genial and the meal was excellent. We did consider the sandwich menu a tad expensive so opted for the breakfast at two o’clock in the afternoon! We were not disappointed. My partner had the full ‘Carriages’ breakfast, and I was pleasantly surprised to see I was able to make a selection from individually priced items, thereby creating a personalised breakfast. We were also offered a choice of how we would like our eggs prepared. I have had many breakfasts in my time but this was, without doubt, the very best. The presentation was faultless and it was cooked to perfection. The coffees we ordered were also excellent. On reflection we decided that perhaps the sandwiches might have turned out to be worth their price tag so will definitely be going back to find out! One final consideration was the toilets. So often I leave a venu, never to return, because of the poor condition of the toilets. However their toilets were pristine with complimentary hygiene products available. I am only surprised by how quiet it was. I appreciate that it is primarily an events venu but, if you haven’t done so already, then I recommend popping in for lunch.

Came here with friends for lunch and the food was fantastic. I had cream of mushroom soup which was delicious, full of mushrooms, not too creamy and full of flavour. Then I had the rabbit which was also very nice and perfectly cooked. Not cheap, but definitely delicious quality food and a lovely traditional atmosphere.
