1st Christmas meal of the year for our coffee morning...really enjoyed a nice relaxed meal...and good service

Sunday lunch for Remembrance Sunday, two rib of beef fell apart, was so bad we had to eat every morsel to make sure, get yourselves there and enjoy

Popped in today for a lunch time drink with a friend. The pub was busy, with a lovely vibe about it. The fire was lit and it felt warm and cosy. Bar service was great. A real Friday glass of wine treat 👍

Good service, nice atmosphere. Overcooked food.

Great to see the place nicely refurbished and helping to create better atmosphere, outdoors area is bigger with more seating . Nice touches been made.

Had a great Halloween night on Saturday! They went all out with the pub decor with the staff dressed up too. Loved the cocktails. Loved the DJ. Will definitely keep my eye open for more events here.

Ok, where do I start ? We were always regulars at The Three Brooks for Sunday lunch up until there last menu change when their offerings & in my opinion the quality went downhill dramatically and we abstained from our regular visits. Now, they had a new season menu launch this week and after looking at the new offerings for Sunday lunch we thought we’d give it a try. All I can say is congratulations Ember Inns & a big thanks to Pete & his team for what I can only describe as a fantastic Sunday lunch, the only thing that let it down was the fact that they were still using frozen roast potatoes, but I was informed that this was only to use up old stock and they’d be reverting to traditional roasties. So my overall rating for this Sunday lunch from a “Pub Chain” is a solid 8/10

Lovely experience. Came in to try some of the new menu items that released today, and i am soundly stuffed on wonderful food, lovely calm atmosphere, and highly recomend coming here to try it out yourself.

We are very local to the three brooks and we come here quite often. We ordered the sticky chicken for starters and it was cold in the middle. We had to go to the bar and the guy behind the bar was so rude. He has a bald head and beard. We didn't get any apology or any acknowledgement that we were even there. We then went to the bar to order another round of drinks and he ignored us. We won't be coming again to be served by this man. Very rude!

Following on from a previous review, I was a guest at the wake of a friend which was held at The Three Brooks. It was a really lovely afternoon and evening. The staff were polite and friendly and we didn't have to wait long to be served, considering how many people were there. The buffet was amazing with hot and cold food choices. Thanks to Pete, Hermione and the rest of the team.

Had a lovely family lunch here at the weekend. Food was lovely with plenty of choice for everyone, big portions too. Very clean with a family friendly atmosphere and the staff were very attentive. Highly recommended for everyone.

We popped into the three brooks on the way home and what a great experience it was. The pub was very clean and.all the staff on duty were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be going back for food.

We’ve been here before but live about 30 miles away so it’s not exactly our local but the food is always excellent and staff are really friendly very helpful so when we want a change of scenery we head here. As vegans you need to know you can eat a decent meal before setting off somewhere and the landlord here always make sure everyone is looked after which is rare! We will be back

The landlord of this establishment is the rudest person I have ever encountered, I have witnessed him being extremely rude to an elderly couple on a recent visit, shouting at them and blaming his staff for everything

food was awful, snotty eggs, chewy gammon. very disappointing after a 20 minute wait. they were short staffed, but even so, get the food right. won't be going back any time ever.

This is my local,I pop in for a couple of scoops, whilst out walking the dog,great service and atmosphere,unfortunately i can't comment on the nosebag,as I've never eaten here,but the grub I've seen being served certainly looks good.

Great pub busy at the front and bit quieter at the back if you want to eat.

It was a fairly quiet evening so really not much to go wrong. The service was welcoming and friendly and the food arrived in an acceptable time, cooked well and hot. The one thing that you should be looking at is ordering via your App as you don't get a 'Loyalty' stamp and that is not right especially when I did exactly that last week spending over £80!! Please address this.

Brought some friends who live locally to see the band on Saturday and they decided this is their new go to place. Atmosphere was great. Food as usual was fabulous and service was excellent. Love the cocktail deal too

Lovely pub, really enjoyed the food and the staff were very helpful especially suggesting we use the app! My Sunday Lunch was piping hot and plenty of it and the Cauliflower cheese was lovely.

Everything I hoped to get from an English pub. We had dinner- Sunday roast, sausage and of course beer, and it was wonderful!

The bar staff were fantastic and accommodated us all brilliantly with no long wait times. We enjoyed a hot and cold buffet which was delicious. Annoyingly we didn't take full photos of this. The food was lovely quality and presented beautifully. Many of us stayed until late in the evening where we enjoyed an evening of live entertainment. It was a great end to a lovely afternoon in the pub. I would highly recommend this venue for a quiet afternoon drink, an evening out but now especially for a gathering of any kind. Pete, Hermione and all the team could not have done any more to make sure all of our guests were so taken care of and they truly made it a BRILLIANT afternoon. Thank you.

As vegan I was delighted with the food choice and care the staff gave to making sure our needs were met. There was also a band which was great, we even had a dance! Would definitely return

I have to write this review. The pub is nice but having visited this pub and returned back to Australia now to find a parking fine plus a charge from my rental company for handling the paperwork totalling 140 pounds. Nobody expects that you need to watch out for parking when just going to a local pub. Thank god I didn't have time to re-visit this pub as I would have been slammed with another fine. I have read other reviews with same experience. The manager's response is unacceptable blaming the customer for their mistake in not seeing the signs. Well, sorry but obviously this is not adequate as many people get fined visiting this pub and not expecting to think about having to get a receipt or whatever you need to get to prove you are a patron. I'm sure there are issues with non-pub people parking there and not using the pub but that is not my problem or fault. Sorry but you need a better system than signs! I have had to appeal the fine and send in my bank statement.

Still a reasonable pub. Some good staff. Beer has been much better recently. Dog friendly.

Pete and the team are always welcoming and keen to make our visits as relaxed and as comfortable as possible.

We’ve just come along to a family friendly Pirate themed afternoon. Kids thoroughly entertained by staff in costumes, pirate mannequins for photos, a Captain Hook hoopla and a treasure hunt all around the site. The owners and team were brilliant. Thank you for a great couple of hours xx

Absolutely brilliant, reasonably priced, great atmosphere

Lovely local pub, friendly staff and Pete the landlord is a lovely chap. Although been here before, today we tried out the new menu, both our meals can out quickly and the food was tasty, looked appealing and plentiful. The drinks are one of the cheapest in the area and the outside drinking area is a open lovely spot in sun despite being on in a main road. Internally the pub is quaint with open fires in the winter. Tonight was a fun quiz which is normally run by a mad bearded character (Rob) with a dry sense of humour, fun had all round and held on Sundays and Tuesdays. We had a light snack cheesy garlic bread with gravy dip which was lovely. They do events and live music, the next is a Piratefest but they have lots of bangs on a weekend and bank holidays. Can heartily recommend a visit.

Table, menus and toilets were all dirty. Barman kept coming over to collect empties , that we didn't have. Unfriendly and disinterested manager. Food was tasteless.

Our local pub, good food , good seating area if you are sat outside. Some good options to choose from. Service can be better especially for outside seating areas. You do need to rider from the app or at the bar. I have been inside before, it’s a bit dark during the day. I prefer the outside area but English weather doesn’t work in our favour

Over cooked fish, should have mentioned it, but out with friends and didn't want to have food re cooked. Haddock was definitely over cooked, both mine and husband's possibly left under a warmer. Put off returning

Came in here for a drink on a Saturday afternoon, been here a few times and we warmed to the place after just moving to the area 6 months ago and was beginning to class it as our local out of 3 local pubs… the wife was at the bar waiting to be served and was next in line to be served, 3 young lads walked in and the young barman ignored my wife and served them first, my wife commented she was next and the young barman said oh well I’m serving them now… how rude no manners a lady should always come first before 3 larger louts..!! In response to owners comment below perhaps I was a bit harsh as we were upset , I’m willing to see if this was a one off occasion and see if it’s not repeated? I have deleted half of my review… The rest of the review stands at this point as that was our experience at your establishment although I may delete it all if we get a better experience the next time we are in, so I hope your bar staff have been briefed and spoken to on how to use the lady’s first manners politeness rule.

Sun was out so where better to go than the pub It was really busy inside there were several large groups so we decided to sit outside We ordered from the table and the drinks came really quick followed by the food in the time you would expect really tasty as usual all in all a great afternoon with friends This is by far the best of the four pubs in the area keep it up the brooks

Love this pub my husband and I went every week Went with my Grandaughter for a lovely meal and drink last evening . Lovely meal staff great can’t fault the atmosphere really enjoyed, can’t fault the food staff or price great

Came with friends for a few drinks ended up there all evening and having food as well place was clean and tidy will definitely be back again

We have been here before for dinner so we thought we would try it for mothers Sunday and we were not disappointed. Excellent service from start to finish from the young girl and one of the managers Food was great good portions excellent value. The atmosphere was great I even manage to get a glimpse of the football as this was showing on the other side but you would not off realise all in all a great time

The landlord has fab customer skills tonight when a the booking system was shocking and failed us from an 'enquiry' that failed us from Weeks ago even though I got a reminder of the booking yesterday. Expecting a table to be ready for us but wasn't but the landlord kindly sorted for us and was apologetic. Thank you for a lovely evening and great food

Nice place, reasonably priced. Service very good. Had to wait a while for our meals, but it was OK. Will definitely go back

Ordered ciabatta with steak, medium rare , and onion filling. It came with chips and side salad. I had to send the steak back as it was rare. Even when cooked a little more I found it inedible. It was extremely tough and sinewy. The rest of the dish was fine. The steak should not be served but immediately binned.

I just want to say, we love the Brooks and find the place always friendly, welcoming and as a whole an all rounder as a local pub. Food from the main menu generally very good. However today’s Sunday roast was well below par, and I can only commiserate with the staff who have been told by Ember Inns, that they need to produce it. It was not traditional, it was either rib of beef served on the bone and was raggy. Chicken on the bone again ( not appealing) or gammon ( which was served sliced and tasted good) Frozen roasted potatoes, roasted hard lumps of goodness knows what, with bitter greens. Awful veg!! Could not eat it… I know the menu explained the meal contents but Ember Inns need a rethink! Give us a sliced meat selection, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower fresh roasted potatoes and honey roasted parsnip. Anyway, just a suggestion. I champion you guys but Ember Inns are letting you down.

Decent food, good drinks, reasonable prices.

Great pub with good service and atmosphere. Pets are also allowed here. Staff were friendly and attentive, they did their best to get food and drinks to us quickly and made sure they came back to the table when needed. Bar staff were polite and attentive too, and i didnt have to wait too long to get my order in. Unfortunately the food isnt good value for money (£6 for three small pieces of lamb in their Lamb Kofta absolute joke) and tasted mediocre. Would go there for drinks, good service and good vibes but not food.

It’s great place to socialise for families. However, There is no play area for children. Make sure you register your car details as soon as you enter in the pub. The pub has limited seating place outside. The menu is reasonably priced. The staff are good and friendly.

Went down to visit friends again and this place never fails to deliver. Book a table for 4 online so simple even for a techno phobe like me Food was great I had the beef rib everyone else had steak all dishes were deliver to perfection yes it’s a pub but the food is great . When we finished to our surprise a solo artist started what a great idea certainly got us to stay All in all a great night well done

Great food with 40% off as well! Although it was busy when we arrived and were told there would be a wait on food, we decided to stay and the food came out in less time than we were advised, tasting amazing. Hot, tasty and very well presented and a very pleasant 40% discount available on our mains!! Can't fault it!

Just a warm relaxing atmosphere on a cold day

We took visiting family to the New Year's Eve event at the Three Brooks and had a fabulous evening! Lovely plated buffet we couldn't even finish because there was so much, and a lovely man bringing drinks to our table so we didn't have to go to the bar! The DJ was really good and the atmosphere was great. Couldn't fault it!

It's it just me or is it legal for the landlord to put the prices up by 10% at Xmas , not sure if the reason why as he charged a ticket price of £7:50 on Xmas eve where other pubs in Bradley stoke did not charge, no wonder it's dead . Just seems to try and hammer those who just want a good time, will never go there again and encourage others to do the same

We went for a Christmas lunch yesterday and the food was beautiful, we go to this pub every year for an early Christmas lunch and this was the best year for the food. Massive thanks to the chefs oberlin and Adam, we will be back next year

Ate there today a party of 8 !! but the food wasn’t usual standard One steak was returned Fish was full of bones & salad limp Vegetables were just cabbage & peas & couldn’t eat because there were not cooked The desert was crumble but was just sour fruit no crumble not good Not the best this time

6 of us ate here on Tuesday evening, from the festive menu. The food was excellent and amazing value for money. Will be returning on Saturday with different friends and am looking forward to it. Special thanks to the 2 chefs Kirsty and Hermione.

Great little pub serving lovely hot food. I had my festive meal with my work here & the staff were so helpful and polite, they couldn't do enough for you. The meals & drinks were reasonable. Atmosphere and environment were lovely and cosy with lovely warm fires. Would recommend.

Lively crowd. Younger generation having fun. Live music. Busy pub. When you park remember to put your registration in the machine on the way in so you don't get fined, it's simple enough. Fab time had by all.

The staff were very attentive. The Christmas atmosphere was bang on. My mum enjoyed the turkey. I complained that the new potatoes were raw and I was told that all veg is cooked Al dente...... I can't understand why new potatoes would be cooked Al dente.... Ever!

Despite being busy on a quiz night the staff were friendly and helpful. The steak was exceptionally good and my friends enjoyed the Xmas Dinner.

Great service and food was up to scratch warm filling and more importantly kids loved it. In fact we have booked to return on Saturday at my daughters request. Nice to see staff asking how the food was and it looked like they reported this back to the chef so my thinking is he or she may have also been taking an interest
