Beautiful and clean place. The Hijabi girl is amazing, she is friendly and her service is fast! Absolutely love the service. I like the Spanish Latte. 5/5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We were trying to find a cute café with a nice view and stumbled here tucked away from the busy areas. It's compact inside with more seating upstairs and the staff was welcoming. We ordered spanish latte and matcha latte and it was good, nicely roasted.

Cute Pinteresty cafe. The coffee was good the prices are also fine. The staff is really friendly. Loved the vibe will visit this place again for sure. Very near to the hilton and dock you can definately visit when around that area.

This coffee I’ve been coming to it for more then two years and every thing is okay the last two days there is one wearing a glasses that is rude to us from since we ordered the order this experience will make me to stop coming to this coffee and I will share my experience to all of my friends because of this rude guy and we will stop coming to the cafe.

I came to Thoughtfully and the treatment that I faced was bad from someone working he is wearing glasses we asked him about our order and he started to shout we told him that we have been waiting for more than 30 minutes. This the last time I will come to this Cafe unless you find someone to raise this lad

Perfection! Really love the place

A fabulous café with indoor space including an upstairs floor and tables outside. Very pleasant, attentive staff. Delicious coffee, beautiful cappuccinos, great selection of cakes etc all very reasonably priced for downtown Liverpool. Will definitely be back for food as the menu looked as good as the coffee did. This is almost like a secret, tucked away in Cleveland Square, a little oasis of trees, is a short walk from Liverpool One/the bus station. I suggest you seek it out.

they use to have another staff before the construction and renewal of the place they were much better then the current two staff they hade bad mentality like if someone forced them to work there👎🏻

What happened to this place? When it was cow & co it was a lovely place on the square to sit in a leafy area with good coffee, we went in today and it was dire! Absolutely filthy, looked like it hadn't seen a brush and mop in years! My partner used the toilet and said it was disgusting, we bought 2 coffees and left, didn't even have lids for the coffee and was like drinking a hot cup of milk. Who'd want to sit in there, what a waste of what could be and has been a great space in the past! Avoid!

Antes de entrar en las cosas cotidianas que han ido drásticamente cuesta abajo, la razón principal de una reseña es que personalmente he escuchado a uno de los propietarios en voz alta utilizando un lenguaje capaz y riéndose. También he escuchado una conversación alegando lenguaje homofóbico e insultos de los propietarios. Definitivamente es un lugar que no puedo apoyar a partir de ahora. Este es un gran ejemplo de cómo los nuevos propietarios pueden entrar y arruinar completamente una empresa y 'marca' en un espacio de tiempo muy corto. Llevo unos 6 o 7 años siendo cliente de Pensando, voy allí a trabajar la mayoría de los días, a socializar con amigos y familiares, me he hecho amiga de gente que ha trabajado allí. Ha sido un lugar seguro, un buen café comunitario. Nuevos propietarios han entrado y en el espacio de 2 - 3 meses ha ido cuesta abajo dramáticamente. Han perdido a todos y cada uno de los miembros del personal, junto con algunos que han comenzado a trabajar allí desde que asumieron el cargo. El ambiente cambió bastante rápido, y esto se transmite a los clientes habituales, ya que regularmente se escucha al personal hablar de problemas con la retención de sueldos y propinas, los proveedores que entran y preguntan por qué no se les ha pagado, una falta de limpieza y desprecio por los vecinos que viven alrededor de la cafetería. Era un lugar donde yo comía regularmente, pero en las últimas semanas a menudo ha habido un olor a desagüe allí, miembros del personal que claramente no tienen ni idea sobre la higiene de los alimentos (un miembro del personal llevaba el mismo guante durante horas a la vez, para cocinar, limpiar mesas, salir al exterior por teléfono, fumar). La mala gestión y la falta de liderazgo claro solo llevarán a que algo como esto suceda, ya que un lugar de trabajo infeliz llega a los clientes y no es un lugar feliz para visitar. Es una verdadera lástima lo que le ha pasado al lugar, muy decepcionante.

The baristas in the store are absolutely lovely however the management and supervisors of this cafe is absolutely disgusting to their staff memebers, especially those who are female, the work environment is toxic and draining for customers to see , have witnessed horror stories and heard many from friends would highly reccomend to stay away

Solía visitar este café regularmente para reunirme con amigos. El personal era muy amable y acogedor. Lamentablemente este no fue el caso con mi última visita. Recientemente se ha hecho cargo de ella y realmente falta cuidado y atención al detalle. La señora que me atendió recién había comenzado esa noche y no tenía ningún miembro del personal experimentado que la ayudara a entrenarla, así que realmente no puedo culparla. También fue su primera noche con una hora de apertura tardía que realmente necesitas organizar correctamente que parecía faltar. Iba a comer algo ya que la comida solía ser básica pero agradable. Pero el señor que estaba a cargo de la preparación de alimentos parece no tener formación formal, ya que solo llevaba un guante y estaba cocinando, limpiando mesas afuera, manejando una bolsa de basura y hacia el momento en que me fui a fumar con el mismo guante. Alimentos e Higiene tendría un día de campo con esto. Los nuevos propietarios estaban arriba en el lugar pero en lugar de administrar su nuevo negocio parecían más interesados en cómo podían expandir la "Marca" internacionalmente. Así es como lo haces. ¡ELEVA TUS ESTÁNDARES! Esto es clave para tener un café exitoso. También me he enterado recientemente de que los nuevos propietarios han estado reteniendo propinas para el personal. Esto es ilegal. Los nuevos propietarios no han sido bienvenidos a personas de todos los ámbitos de la vida. Liverpool/Liverpudlians se "orgullece" de su tolerancia a las personas de todos los ámbitos de la vida. Espero que los nuevos propietarios lean estas críticas y entiendan que este comportamiento no puede y no será tolerado. Quisiera pedir activamente al público que evite este café mientras se desarrolla esta horrenda práctica laboral.

A beautiful place, I love sitting there, and the staff are excellent, especially Muhammad and Karak, which is nice and worth a visit

Mohammed gives thoughtfully such peaceful vibes with his big heart and genuine smile. He is always smiling no matter what, and makes everyone feel welcomed in the place.

I recently visited this cafe and absolutely loved it. The place is perfect, with a cozy ambiance that makes you feel right at home. The staff were fabulous—so friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was just right, with a great balance between lively and relaxed.

Nice little cafe with friendly staff. We went twice. I had the banana bread once and still think about how good it was months later. Nice to sit back outside when the weather is good. Service was a little slow. Waited about 20 mins for a cupcake and pot of tea. The cupcake WAS worth the wait though!

Very small coffee shop. But very friendly. Coffee fantastic and dark roasted with a rich taste. Pastries large and quite luxurious! Would definately return when back in the area.

We ordered a banana bread (no prep) & a cheese toasties that took approx 30 mins to arrive. So slow. Never known anything like it in my life!

Personally, I didn’t like the coffee, I think the roasting is very dark. I liked the croissant. The space was quiet but not my favorite feels, very small.

Disappointing experience. Food is overpriced and quality does not match the price. Service very slow. The place didn't look very clean; it would also be more 'thoughtful' if staff with a cold/cough wore a mask. Two stars only for the coffee, which was not too bad.

Cozy place with good coffee and service! Real macchiato!

Pretty terrible from the get go, what type of ‘coffee shop’ doesn’t offer Carmel sauce to go in the coffee. Waited 10 mins or more for 2 off the same coffees and two pastry’s that were pre-made. When the coffee arrived it was decent but they clearly didn’t add any vanilla and had to ask for some. It was at that point the server said ‘ i don’t think we’ve got much left’. If you haven’t got any stock then you shouldn’t be selling it in the first place.It was tiny cup of Spanish coffee and cost £4.75, decently made but definitely not worth the price! In addition my gf asked for sugar and they only had agave?? Another server had to come over and and bring the sugar cubes to the front desk.The only saving grace was the pan au chocolate and croissant but that’s not even made by them it’s made by butterholics.

Abrupt atmosphere for a cafe that should be more welcoming I.e greeting people, speaking to the options etc. This was not done on the occasion of my visit.

Really disappointed with this place after reading the reviews. Food and coffee were good but we waited over an hour for 6 toasted sandwiched despite being promised them in 25 minutes so be careful if you've got other things to do with your day!

Very disappointed after reading all the good reviews. Waited for an hour to get a sandwich half of the order came and the others in our party had to wait a further 15 minutes.Food was tasty when it arrived but totally ruined by the service. Would have walked out but had already paid.

I had a mixed experience at this café. On the positive side, my flat white arrived quickly, and the smashed avocado, though delayed for 40 minutes (!!!!!!), tasted good. However, the overall service left much to be desired. I had to clean my table myself, and the staff seemed distracted and appeared more interested in their phones than serving customers. It felt a bit chaotic. Given the food and coffee quality, I'd rate it 2 out of 5 stars, but the experience was somewhat disappointing. The requirement to pre-pay and tip left me feeling misled; I wouldn't have tipped had I known what to expect...

One of the best coffee shops in liverpool but usually you will be waiting for your order, sometimes in 1 min you will get your order sometimes 20 min, Food orders takes forever to arrive But the food tastes good, the kitchen is small thats the reason but if you have something within 1 hr I don’t recommend to order food from there because it might not arrive. And when you order coffee and food they serve the coffee first may be 15 min between them so it would be cold. The best coffee and food but the service is very slow

I don't understand why you're just keeping on increasing your prices every 2 day? We get it if your costs are increasing but that doesn't mean you over exaggerate at the end of the day its a local cafe a tiny Spanish latte is now £4.75? is this a joke. Hygiene is not the best here plus the staff are very rude! Save your self money and time and visit mother espresso which is 3 mins away and have proper food!

Really lovely place. Had a bit of a confusion with the milk choice but the staff was so lovely and down to earth about it, got asked if I’m allergic and if everything is fine which was so comforting having in mind I hate returning drinks. The drink got swiftly remade! Thanks guys ❤️

Was in Liverpool for a week, and this nice place become the favourite breakfast cafè. Nice food. Nice employee. Nice coffee.

A nice relaxed atmosphere, good coffee, and a good spot to look out in the world going by.

Food and coffee is great, and I generally love coming here. But they had one of their who was clearly unwell, coughing away quite relentlessly. If you were sitting upstairs you could hear her coughing (it was a really bad hacking type cough). Just made so many of us uncomfortable - really bad practice. If you have someone coughing away, please don't have them serve or in the kitchen...or at work. This is one of my favourite gems, but I now I will think twice.

If you haven’t been here, we couldn’t recommend going highly enough. The staff are friendly, the coffee is delicious and so are the cakes! Nice and quiet just around the corner from John Lewis.

This is such a marvellous independent, it's head and shoulders above the mass overpriced big coffee houses. The staff are wonderful, everyone is welcomed as a friend. The coffee and teas are outstanding....and the Cheese toasties with all the trimmings are sensational. Do yourself a favour and escape the bustle of the city centre...its just around the corner from John Lewis in Cleveland Square!!

Lovely staff who make a fantastic coffee. I had a both a long black and a soya latte, both great. Often places will curdle the soya milk but the latte I had was perfectly smooth.

This coffee shop is amazing! My favourite one in Liverpool from the first time. 100% recommended. I will be back to discover more and to feel this energy of this place again 🤍

A hidden gem that I only knew about through the Qatari student community in Liverpool. I used to live in Qatar so loved the atmosphere there and it brought back fond memories as the cafe setup is similar to the independents over there. Really good quality coffee and friendly staff. My only bugbear is the fact that there are people there who keep their table despite having finished their drinks and new paying customers want to sit down😡 they should be a little stricter and move people on when they have finished or at least emcourage them to buy more!

For such a highly rated placed I was disappointed with the customer service I received when I went to pay (not the same girl who served me first). Even though the coffee was good, I tried the banana cake and it tasted very little of its main ingredient. When I went over to pay I gave my opinion and was confronted with something like "I can taste the banana!", rather than listening to the customer and improving its product. Feedback is a gift!

Before the cafe closes and whilst I waited for my takeaway coffee, I asked the barista for some tissue to wipe the water off the chair so I can sit down and wait. She replied with “The coffee is going to close in X minutes, it is a waste of tissue”. The coffee was good though.

Quite a pleasant cafe that serves good coffee.

The coffee here was great. Service very friendly and very nice people. Food was good, as a vegan, lots of good options. Had a cup cake and banana bread. Both good. Full breakfast options limited for anyone, not just vegans. Oatly barista edition milk, which is great!

Fantastic toastie and great coffee at Thoughtfully Cafe. The addition of outdoor seating in the summer is a particular delight and gives a very continental feel to a wonderful cafe. Been coming here since the early days having previously worked locally and will continue to visit over the coming years for certain!
