We were staying at an air b&b in the same road as this cafe and what a find. We had breakfast here every morning during our stay. Very friendly staff, great breakfast menu there is something for every appetite. I would highly recommend, such a shame I can't have breakfast there again tomorrow!

Away from the overcrowded sea front, this small cafe will cater for most. Friendly staff with a reasonably priced menu. Portions are plentiful. It’s on a bike route and you can put your bikes behind the adjoining gates. Not sure if there are customer toilets on the premises though.

Small but very cozy and welcoming. Lovely breakfast and the coffee ☕️ was truly great. Reasonable priced Would recommend 👌 this place .

You go for breakfast in a cafe that you walked past on the way back from the harbour the evening before. What a wonderful place . I live in Hastings if we had a café near our house like this I'd move in. 10 out of 10. . And 5 stars 🌟 I review loads on here and rarely give a 5 🌟

I visited Whitstable and was walking from the harbour to the rail station and I stumbled upon this gem of a place. I ordered a pot of tea and a chicken panini toastie - delicious!! Definitely going there again!! Love it.

Excellent little cafe with a good choice of food. Carley , Julie and Claire go out of their way to make you welcome. Nothing is too much trouble. Good food and good value for money.

We sought refuge in this little cafe to escape a rain shower and were pleased we did. The cafe is small but has a good selection of foods and good coffee. Gluten-free options are available. Staff were very friendly.

Went for breakfast, looked nice. Waited 50 min to get 4 breakfast dishes. Avoid the coffee and the cold sussauge role.

Thirst Love is an excellent little cafe. Claire and Julie go out of their way to make you welcome, nothing is too much trouble. Good food and good value for money.

Lovely little quaint and welcoming café off the main hustle of Whitstable. Tasty latte. When the sun is out, it warms up the area out front with tables and chairs. Give it a try!! 😊☺️

Winters here and two dishes added to the menu, a homemade chilli and also a nice warming soup, thai carrot and lemongrass. My wife and l tried both, delicious you won't be disappointed.

The staff here were incredibly welcoming, hospitable, generous, and friendly and the drinks we ordered were fresh and delicious. The coffee was creamy and smooth and just the right temperature and the smoothie was made fresh and beautifully cold, crisp and generously sized. They even had a vegan meal option and gluten-free cake. The only very minor critique would be more vegan options, especially a vegan cake. They also appeared to be animal-friendly and to have highly satisfied regulars

The cafe staff were incredibly hospitable, friendly, welcoming and generous with their time and their portions. The coffee was remarkably good as was the smoothie they made fresh. The atmosphere was welcoming and friendly and it was clear that they have regular customers and are animal-friendly also. The only critique would be if they offered more vegan choices especially with at least one cake (however there may not be many vegans locally or much scope for such options.)

Being a member of slimming world I'm watching what l eat, a"skinny breakfast" ticks all of the boxes.

This was a charming, slightly tucked-away local café. The food was fresh and prepared while-you-wait. Excellent range of salads, and sandwiches. Plenty of vegetarian options. The coffee was good, although the highlight was the atmosphere as locals strolled in, for this and that, and a chat. What an asset to the local community!

Visited for breakfast and it exceeded our expectations. Quality produce, great service and a lovely warm atmosphere. A little gem of a find and will become a regular haunt from now on. Amazing value!

If you want a great snack visit this cafe . It’s up a fairly quiet road and seems very busy. We were walking by early in the day so decided to try it out . The breakfast was a good buy a presentation was good , the service was very quick but it was freshly cooked . They also sell homemade cake made by the proprietor so next time will try one of these.

My husband and I took a daytrip to Whitstable during a week in London. We happened to find Thirst Love Café just a short walk from the train and decided stop in while we oriented ourselves to the town. The cafe was immediately inviting and cozy. We sat inside and had a flat white coffee, an Americano, and a slice of Victoria sponge. Everything was quite literally perfect! My husband said it was the best he'd ever had. I didn't get pictures of our food, but have added a photo of the interior of this delightful little cafe. The owner (whose name I regrettably cannot remember) was so friendly and told us where to find shopping and how to get to the beach. Between her gracious hospitality and incredible coffees and cakes, Thirst Love Café is a must if you're in the area!

It only misses a toilet, otherwise perfect!

Ended up there by chance on our first day because we had to wait for our check-in time. Lovely find as the coffee was really good, staff was super friendly. We had to go back on day 3 to try their breakfast and the experience was more of the same. Highly recommend this place, homemade patisseries and cakes as well as breakfast.

Stumbled on this little haven just a few metres from the airBnB after taking a wrong turn. How lucky we were, four adults, one baby and two small dog/wolves squeezed into the compact cafe with a warm welcome and ordered from the menu. The choices weren't extensive but well thought out with enough options to cover fussy diners and dietary needs. The drinks arrived hot in sizeable cups in moments and the food being made fresh to order took enough time to drink in the calm of the space and enjoy some friendly banter with the staff. Lots of locals popping in for takeaways and no rush have you leave. Good portions, fresh food, decent pricing, left the cafe chilled and ready for the day exploring Whitstable. Have bookmarked location and will return.

What a great find! Didn’t realise this place was minutes walk from me until yesterday. Popped in for a sandwich and a drink. Lovely polite service, good (but not overwhelming selection) and fair pricing. We will certainly be regulars to this little gem :-)

We ordered 5 coffees and a tea to take away there yesterday. You can't go wrong with tea but all 4 coffees (Americano, Cappuccino and Café Latte) really tasted like water. I haven't had such bad coffee in a long time. Either there was something wrong with the machine or the coffee was too weak or of poor quality.

The best coffee in the town, and an independent business to boot! Great atmosphere, you will never feel alone there no rush and lovely food too. Five star experience.

Great little cafe. It's really worth walking a couple of hundred metres away from the high street to go here. Very friendly place. Homemade sausage rolls are great & the Bakewell Blondie is superb. If I'm here again I'll be back. Great range on the menu.

Had a fabulous breakfast this morning, we both went for the grilled brekkie with baked beans. Everything was well cooked, scrambled eggs were light and fluffy and the sausage was particularly tasty!

OMG what a little gem! We strolled and stumbled along this beautiful little place whilst out in Whitstable today. My husband has food allergies and although we love Whitstable Harbour the restaurants are a little fussy for his diet. This gem offers simple beautifully presented fresh food, home made AND gluten free AND where we could sit with our pooch. Win win I’d say! The lady who served us was really friendly, polite, accommodating and done the owner proud. It’s rare to find customer service with a smile these days, let alone someone who cares for their customers and their needs. Well done to you all……. Fabulous place! Highly recommend! PS - we would have brought the table and chairs in for you lol!

Amazing flat white coffee with freshly prepared ploughman's sandwich and a chicken Mayo stick. Delicious. Friendly lady who served us. Would highly recommend.

Had a delicious bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. Very friendly staff. Great location to stop heading to or from the train station.

Having passed by many times we’ve finally managed a visit. What a gem! The breakfast was beautifully cooked, and because it’s grilled, not dripping in grease. Thanks to the chef for such perfectly cooked and great quality food! My only complaint, and I’m sorry that I have one, was a single observation of poor hygiene. I noticed that, before our plates of food were brought over, the serving member of staff was wiping their nose thoroughly with a tissue and then itching their nose after. But, they never washed their hands. I hope this review is seen so that it doesn’t happen again. It’s such a lovely little place and I’d love to back.

The staff were really lovely and it was a sweet little cafe but unfortunately the food wasn't very nice :( I had a crepe and it was pretty inedible where it was so dry and crispy :(

This is an absolute gem of a cafe. Wonderful friendly service. The food choice was good, tasty and brilliantly presented, just excellent. My wife was so relaxed, as The owner understood gluten free, which is somewhat rare nowadays. For me the Destructive Ploughman’s was superb and the home made sausage roll was yummy! Oh and the cafe is totally dog friendly! Thank you. Well done. We will be back!!

Very much love this place - a really nice spot. The coffee here tastes great, and the breakfasts and cakes (in particular) are a real local treat. I only discovered this place recently and have been a couple of times... but we'll be back soon!

Stopped here as we came into Whitstable via The Crab and Winkle Way cycle/walking route. An absolute find! Had the bruschetta (special), which was absolutely delicious. Also had the strawberry and mint smoothie which was also delicious. Really friendly, nothing too much trouble. A wonderful little gem - really worth a visit.

Seriously the best Biscoff cake in a lovely community atmosphere.

We were looking for breakfast in a hurry as early as possible in Whitstable, we found this was one of the first places open. The food was lovely and the owner was really nice. They open at 9 am and are gona look at changing there open hours on Google. Definitely worth a visit will be coming back when we ever come on holiday at some point

Friendly staff and delicious cakes. Had a lemon and poppy seed scone today with jam and cream with my cappuccino. All excellent and we also love the milk shakes, especially the snickers flavour. Can also recommend the afternoon teas and excellent value.

First time visit today to pick up afternoon tea for three. I had ordered this a few days before and the owner was so friendly and extremely helpful. The afternoon tea was faultless. The sandwiches were so fresh and full,the sausage rolls were really tasty...

Such a gorgeous lunch! We have ordered afternoon tea for us and kids. The selection was fantastic, from delicious sandwiches, scrumptious sausage rolls, massive scones with homemade jams, cakes, cupcakes and then some .... Everything homemade and we are all happy bunnies.
