My go to coffee and cake place in herne bay. I'm not vegan, but i love it here. Really nice atmosphere with lovely staff. Nice to have a selection of books for sale and an area for little ones to wind down. Coffee is superb and has every type of dairy alternative you can name. I recommend oat milk with an americano if you're new to this. It's a vegan establishment throughout, including the cakes, which for my money are the best in town. Ample in size and rich in taste. On a sunny day it's a sun trap on the pavement and ideal for people watching. The wonderful outlook from inside offers sea views and just a great place to relax and enjoy the best of herne bay.

Great coffee, relaxed atmosphere, comfortable seating and a lovely conversation about the Heartstopper production (yes! This is where they filmed the beach scene!) Thanks :-)

I found this coffee shop by chance on a visit to Herne Bay. It was one of the highlights of the day. Not only does it do the most amazing coffee and cakes which the owner makes (lemon and poppy seed muffins are to die for), it has a quirky diverse bookshop at the back of the coffee shop hosted by the lovely Ashlea who is so passionate about her books. All the staff are super friendly and I was so impressed, I made another hour journey to visit just so I could have another coffee and buy another book.

I popped into the Raw bar for the first time today - and honestly wished I’d come sooner. There are lots of nice coffee bars in Herne Bay these days - but the coffee I just had was outstanding. Really smooth and really tasty. There is also a children’s book shop in the back, and views of the sea out of the windows. Definitely worth a visit.

I came down from London to walk from Herne Bay to Whitstable, and decided to have lunch here first as it seemed a nice wee cafe. I had a lovely cappuccino plus a vegan sausage roll and banana and nut cupcake, which were both delicious. I sat outside, and even had a nice view of the sea! This set me up perfectly for my walk!
