Heading to see Macbeth at Dock X, booked this delightful restaurant online. Arrived early and we were concerned that shutters were down but just before 5:25 they opened up and we were invited in. 6 of us were served, ate and parted in plenty of time for the show. Very friendly welcome from all the team. Good menu with plenty of choice and the food was excellent as was the service. Took "doggy bags" of fudge out at the end to enjoy at the theatre. We will definitely visit again and I thoroughly recommend the Yellow House, thank you for a lovely experience.

We booked this restaurant for our works Christmas party. Well it was awful, where do I start. Waiters need to brush up on their social skills. Food was presented poorly. Waiters never once asked how our food was or if we needed anything. No atmosphere seeing as it was Christmas. We asked if we could have crackers on the table which they gave us but was shocked to have been charged for them. A very dissatisfied evening.

I absolutely love everything about this place: its food, its staff, the ambience. One of the very best places to eat in London. They always have vegan options. They treat customers so well - you really feel welcomed and appreciated, nothing is too much trouble for them. I recommend their pasta with nduja, their French onion soup, fillet of bream with leeks risotto and their pastries and desserts, particularly their fudge and profiteroles :)

Another wonderful Sunday lunch at the yellow house. Delicious food, expertly cooked and convivial atmosphere. The puddings are always fabulous! Thank you so much Robert and Jamie for making our group of twelve diners last Sunday so happy.

Fabulous Sunday roast, friendly service, a little dissapointed I didn't have space for one of the lovely desserts on offer!

I booked a Christmas dinner for my mother and I as a treat for my mother who rarely gets out. At a pop of £90 per person I was expecting the meal to at least be of a certain quality and standard, but unfortunately it was not. When we arrived despite having booked this over a month in advance they didn't have our table ready and was told to sit down somewhere and wasn't even offered a drinks menu. When we finally sat at our table we both noticed some things that I know are not satisfactory on a hygine level. The Yorkshire puddings were just dumped next to us out in the open in a box and I saw the desert just sat out I'm the open next to people sneezing and coughing, when I saw the chef dishing this up for people he was just using his hands, which didn't seem to be clean and putting it onto a plate. He could have at least used a utensil to pick it up with (yuck). The starter came and it wasn't great, just a lot of avocado dumped onto a soggy base of corn fritter. Then the roast dinner was the ultimate disappointment, I wish I had taken a photo. We ordered the beef, we asked for one well done and the other medium well. On our plates were a sort of beef steak just dumped in the middle of the plate and my mum's well-done piece was as tough as an old show and my medium piece was also really tough and chewy, despite it being pink. We barely ate any of it, can you imagine this is supposed to be a wonderful occasion (Christmas Day) which was ruined by this experience. When we asked to speak to the manager he was very defensive telling us nobody has ever complained about the beef before (which I fail to believe) and that it's Scottish beef. As someone who eats out a lot and is used to fine dining and nice restaurants, this was not the one. He wasn't apologetic at all, just felt very accusatory and unwilling to understand the issue even though he could see how bad it looked, but perhaps that's what he is used to. I paid a £100 despoit for the meal and then they charged us £65 with the discount added. Can you imagine!!!! £165 for the worse meal ever and he acted like he was doing us a service by making it seem like he had added a 50% discount. As a business owner myself, and someone who has a lot of local clients, I will be speaking about this experience to a lot of people. Utterly disappointing!!!

Best white pizza ever ! Tremendous service and friendly staff ! If we are ever back in London will definitely be back to try other meals ! Family’s other meals were delicious aswell!

We are here as a party of 10 (including 3 small children). Children’s menu not huge (soup, pizza, pasta) but good quality and value. Food was brought quickly, all together and was hot when brought to the table - unlike some places who do none of these things. Steak was correctly cooked to order and tasty. Some good wines in the £20-£30 range although something under £20 would have been nice.

It has great service great food 👍 and the staff are very friendly and kind. They will always help you if need be this is why I have five out of five stars.

Friday fish was mushy, my fault ordering as expected a once a week dish to be a good one. Chips, very large cuts and portions bigger than the mushy fish batter. Penne arabica was mushy overcooked and came out steaming so kept on cooking to more overcooked-ness. The sauce was strange and not spicy and had sugar or a sweetener in it, not Italian. We looked at the menu before going to our new neighbourhood restaurant, we thought with a good list of pizza and pasta it must be good. The staff were nice, good service but the food was quite awful. A couple in another corner table had a hit or two of pot inside, mentioned they came off a plane and did not need to quarentine as an extra ambiance to the evening.

Outstanding steaks. Good pizza. Wonderful gooseberry sorbet. And everything else was very very good: the wine, the cocktails, the bread, the hummus etc Highly recommended.

Absolutely delicious food – from hand-crafted freshly-prepared pizza («Four Seasons» is my favourite) to perfectly cooked lamb. Plus, an excellent selection of wines (I highly recommend «Mâcon-Villages Domaine Chêne» white). Not to mention fresh bread and desserts! My family and friends have been eating out and ordering with The Yellow House for quite a few years now and always happy with the quality of ingredients (great to see chef sourcing fresh local produce from the nearby market) and service (their team is very friendly, enthusiastic and honest). Just came in here as it's a ten minute walk from my flat and me and a friend wanted a quick celebration dinner. Inside it's a bit strange looking, somewhat unfinished early noughties feeling out the back, but you can see the pizza oven and the chefs prepping food which is always nice. The drinks menu is pretty reasonably priced - cocktails for about nine quid, glass of prosecco for £5.50, decent beers on tap. But the real draw is the food. It is so so so good. We had the chicken livers and the arancini, both delicious (the rosti the livers were on was to die for) then a sirloin steak (perfectly cooked) and the lamb (beautifully medium rare). I had the best carrot I've ever had in my life at the Yellow House which is not an accolade I saw myself giving out well into adulthood. We finished it off with brownies. Sadly, these were not warm, which was a shame as it made them a bit claggy, especially with the super thick and creamy cornish-style ice cream. That said, they were still really tasty, but could have benefitted from being warmed up and gooey rather than fridge cold and dense. Service was friendly enough and pretty understated – there was someone there when we needed them but not much chit chat. Their covid measures also looked effective, and the playlist they had on was great. All round, maybe not a location for a super posh dinner out as it all feels very understated, but if you just want some of the best pub food in south London for a nice evening out with pals, The yellow house is absolutely ideal, highly recommend. One of the best steaks dinners I've had in a long while and the Creme Brulee's for desert were perfectly done. The service was quick, courteous and professional and I like the fact that you could see the food actually being cooked as they have an open kitchen. The bill for 2 for a three course meal came to £70 (plus a generous tip). Pricey but worth every penny if you like steak. A thoroughly enjoyable experience all round and would I visit again? Yes!

We have had table for 4, this is our local restaurant that we visited several times before. This time one of our dish was pizza and it was served with a notepad, YES YOU READ THIS RIGHT, notepad was under the pizza on the plate. When informed waitress she apologised and replaced the pizza, however, no manager came to apologise (as previously if we have had any issues at all we always had manager coming to see us in person) and pizza was not taken off the bill in the end!!!!! We are regular local customers coming there many times before and as I understand that mistakes happen I really felt service was unacceptably poor. Even thou chef did apologise while we were leaving through the door that just didn’t feel right. Very sad as loved visiting this place where now I don’t think we will be back again. We were celebrating announcement of our wedding and it kind of ruined our experience. Wouldn’t recommend.

This time we came on a Sunday evening, which I wouldn’t recommend for two reasons:1. Restaurant shuts early so no bookings taken after 7pm and not many others around2. Quite a few dishes were taken off the menu. We nevertheless enjoyed our delicious and well- priced steaks served by the friendly staff.We’ll be back a different day.

Pizza with buffalo mozzarella is just delicious, perfectly baked and the tomato sauce is unreal! Totally unexpected! I will come back for sure! Really raccomandare if you are in the zone!

Fui hoy a almorzar el domingo con la familia y, como han dicho otros, ¡no juzguen este libro por la portada! ! What an absolute gem of a place. My friend and I stumbled past here by accident looking for the station and we are so glad we went in.Incredibly tasty food, rich. Mouthwatering, full of flavour, plenty of choice for vegetarians and gluten free.Great drinks list. Lovely friendly efficient staff.It was hard to stop ourselves at 2 courses... Neither of us live near Surrey Quays but we have already made plans to return for more of the menu.Hugely recommend.

Ate here recently on a dismal wet October evening. The coq au vin and buttery mash were ideal comfort food. The atmosphere here is informal and friendly with a good range of dishes including delicious pizzas and pasta alongside various more “restauranty” options. Good value.

Very good food and value for money!! I had starters kings prawns very good and mains pizza Margherita was great and bavette steak was surprised tender, juicy and very tasty!! Service from the waiter wasn’t great as food was! But the chef when we were living hi asked if was everything okay!! That’s was great!!

Nothing to get particularly excited about. Reasonable food and competent service. Lamb rump and pork chop very acceptable; pasta dishes were very tasty.

Had the chicken livers and chicken meatballs to start followed by the Onglet steak and the pork with bacon and mushrooms followed by an apple tarte tatin. All very nice, and very attentive chef who came to the table and asked us about our meal. Convenient for cinema, bowling and Southwark park right next door

Had a drink the night before in here, then had a meal on the Saturday night.

I initially came in here with my sister and niece for a drink, from the bar we could all smell the lovely food so we decided to eat here as well. We ordered 2 Pizzas and the ham and mushroom tagliatelle. The Tagliatelle was absolutely gorgeous and so were the pizzas. The staff were lovely and overall we had a very nice time here. It’s a convenient place as it’s literally opposite Surrey Quays Station so in no time at all I was home. 10/10 and I will be back !

I popped in here for a quick Sunday roast and they were so kind to fit me in even though they were fully booked all day for Mothering Sunday.

We came here as this restaurant has a good reputation for their pizzas but when I saw their steak menu I decided to order one instead and I definitely didn’t regret it. The meat was cooked to perfection and very good value for money.

This restaurant, just in front of the Surrey quays Overground station and 10 minutes walk from Canada water, is very comfortable from whomever would like to have a nice quiet family night or catch up with their high school cohort. I can see large group gatherings taking place here. The restaurant is beautiful, and veru friendly.

Fui aquí el domingo para una cena asada era muy pobre. Tenía una pata de pollo, era más como un gorrión. Las papas eran nuevas. The staff were friendly and attentive . Food was excellent with a good selection of dishes to choose from the menu. The atmosphere was relaxing .

What a little gem! Moved to the area 7 months ago but this was our first time at The Yellow House and boy we have been missing out! Would highly recommend, great service, great food, great chefs! The Chef's mums recipe homemade fudge was delicious!

This place is superb. Pizzas made properly in pizza oven, great food, ambience and really great service including welcoming children. The staff were great with our 2 year old granddaughter. All food cooked to order so there can be a wait. No problem. Excellent.We visited at 6pm on a Thursday with son and family. Welcoming from the moment we walked in. Can't speak too highly. Will definitely be back at our next visit.

Dined here on Saturday 8th September. Received a very warm welcome from all the staff and excellent service. They offer an extensive menu to suit all tastes and the food did not disappoint. All four in our party had different dishes and all were very well presented and very tasty. Keep up the good work. We will definitely return on our next visit to this area

This is a terrific flavour combination and together with the wood fire cooking, makes a very yummy pizza.

We enjoy coming here for anything:delicious pizza, juicy steaks or just a drink. Always excellent service and the best pizza in the area, chilled music, good atmosphere. I’ll be coming over and over again! P.S. prosciutto pizza is fantastic!

We like to visit this pub as we are local, but it is most of the time closed unfortunately, one of the only nice places to eat and drink in surrey quays, good pizzas, standard drinks selection, great service and cosy

Great tasting food, well decorated and friendly staff. A nice atmosphere with low lighting. They have done well with the location with a varied menu and pretty good value for money.

We’ve been coming to the Yellow House now for nearly a decade, and it’s one of those fixtures that makes living in the Surrey Quays area fairly pleasant. It’s always busy, friendly and additionally you get ample portions at a decent London price. You’d probably describe it as a neighbourhood restaurant, though the food is excellent!

Amazing bread and pastry chef ensures everything from appetisers to home made fudge is fantastic. Pizza pasta and the specials are all worth trying. The dessert menu is of course to die for. Worth a detour to try it

We live close by to Yellow House and I only wish we could go more often. We have never had a bad meal here, with excellent, tasty and filling food, and great service.

The food here is fabulous. Much better than we were expecting. The pizzas are really good and the lamb kofta starters were very tasty. Definitely, reccommend trying this place out.

Living in the area, I’ve been dining at the yellow house for the past 2 years, with my partner, friends and family.

The pizza was really tasty and authentic! The atmosphere is great, very relaxed and warm, the staff were friendly and helpful.

This is not a specific visit review, but from many, many visits over the years (both at this location and many moons ago on Plough Way).

Easy to get to just at the door of Surrey Quays station or a short walk from Canada Water Station. Great food and some interesting menus for special events eg burns night.

Good food is always on offer here. You also see it being cooked in front of you at a very cool looking kitchen bar. Very friendly staff who remember you from visit to visit. I have gone with groups and on my own and found it to be enjoyable regardless of whether or not I am a solo diner. This is not the same for other restaurants. My only complaint - the mains are usually so filling I can't manage desert! I have been known to just pop in for a desert because they are so yummy.

We have been going to the yellow house for a couple of years now, and every time it is delicious. Wonderful pizza, wine and staff all great!

This is very nice local bar and restaurant with delicious pizza. Very nice staff ( most of them working for long time since they were open). They are very friendly and you feel there like at home.

The drinks here are perfectly adequate but the service was unfriendly. No effort to please the customers - instead we were regarded as something of an inconvenience.

I have been to the Yellow House many times over the past few years and I feel so lucky so have this place on my doorstep. The food is delicious (the tiger prawn and chorizo pizza is my favourite) and the service is always excellent. Every time I go back I love seeing the same familiar faces - Jaime in the kitchen, James the waiter and this time we were served by Szymon who was friendly and attentive. Whenever I have friends move to the area, this is the first place I recommend. I have been to the Yellow House so many times that I managed to collect 1000 points on my loyalty card so my fiancé and I have just enjoyed a free 3 course meal for two with a bottle of wine, which was lovely!

We were the only people in this bar/kitchen at 5.45pm but it was filling fast an hour later. The surrounding area seemed dead, gloomy and unpromising but this place was near a newish arts venue we were going to (The Printrooms) and both places will no doubt lift the area as a place to go at night. We were very pleasantly surprised by the heady cocktails (Negroni and an 'Upside down 'Martini'), the service and the delicious breads and main courses (hake and chicken which came with perfectly cooked vegetables and creamy mash). Will definitely visit again.

On business in London in the excel arena we needed a really good meal for a full team of staff We have been to yellow house before and never been disappointed We turned up and it was really busy as there was a run in the park next door but nothing too much trouble !The food was utterly amazing as usual and all cooked on an amazing wood fired oven or charcoal grill Great to see the standards are maintained in every area We will be back next time in London Thank you keep up the good work Hopefully see you soon

We love this place. We hadn't been for a while and met friends there last Sunday for late lunch. One very welcome addition was the flat white martini which was divine. There were 7 of us and as usual there were no complaints. I had the chicken paillard and the garlic mayo was delicious, followed by the chocolate brownie which, despite my very best efforts, was too generous a serve to finish. One of our friends had one of their newish pizzas and it looked amazing. The wine was excellent and we all left, yet again, very happy with this fantastic place. If you haven't tried it - definitely give it a go - we've never had a bad meal or bad service at the Yellow House.

The service was very good. 3 of us had pizza, which were all really tasty. The side of chips were also good. Glad we booked, as the restaurant became very busy by 8pm.

We stopped in to try their wood oven pizza and found the experience to be less than optimal. It all started when we were waiting to be seating and saw the chef dip his finger in a pot that was cooking and lick sauce from his finger. We actually walked out because we were disgusted. We decided to go back in and try the pizza because there was another person cooking the pizza. The service was extemely slow to come, but when the server did arrive she responded quickly to our asks. The kitchen is open plan and in the dining space. Needless to say, the heat from the kitchen made the dining space extremely hot. We ordered two pizza's and bread and olives. The bread bread was very good and baked fresh; however, the olives were one variety and quite standard in taste. My husband ordered four seasons pizza that was saturated in grease and oil; we though it may have been a result of the artichokes not being drained properly before being cooked. Either way, it was soggy and oily. Also, about a quarter of his pizza was black in one section and burnt beyond eating. He is Italian and doesn't mind a bit of burn, but this was charred. My margarita pizza was ok, but too was soggy in the center. When asked by our server how our meal was, we showed her the burnt pizza. She did go to the cook and tell him, to which he shrugged his shoulders and said "That's just how it's cooked." In addition to the initial disappoint when the cook stuck his finger in the cooking pot, we were also suprised by the fact that the pizza/bread cook was also moving furniture, seating people, and delivering bread to tables. Usualy speaking, cooks/chefs stay in the kitchen for hygiene reasons. We will not be back and am disappointed becuase we had high hopes for this place.

We came for wifes birthday 4 adults 3 children . Now im a long time fan of the yellow house, and this is why , they dont treat us like just another customer, we are treated like family and old friends , and they always look after the children as well, food they bring out all the childrens stuff first so they get stuck in and dont get bored, the adults starters three grilled squid and seafood soup, wonderfull , mains to roast beef and to lamb dinners , absolutely the best, and for deserts they bought out homemade birthday cake and all sang happy birthday to my wife a great way to end a great meal and a great day. Many thanks guys.

Can't fault it, nice garden, lovely pizza and attentive staff! It wasn't too expensive and had a nice diverse menu!

We came for a friends' get-together, and it was a great evening! Wonderful food (mushroom risotto was fantastic!), very attentive service, lovely wine, and the home-made fudge was a fantastic end to a great dinner! Loved the lighting (very cosy) and the atmosphere (not too noisy) too!

We had our first and final London meals in this restaurant as we were staying very close by. Had an amazing Pizza on the first day there and a nice Sunday roast lunch for my last day there. Lovely ambiance, service and food. Chef came out to speak with us. All in all a very nice place that I would be a regular at if I were a local.recommended

We are regulars at Yellow House. The food and service is always top drawer and would thoroughly recommend it.

Unexpected in this corner of London needing to entertain a colleague and found the Yellow House on TA.Super friendly welcome from the staff. This is a really nice local bar/restaurant and despite it being a rainy Tuesday evening, had a steady stream of customers indicating that it’s a popular local choice. We enjoyed a few drinks in the bar, including a ‘special pale ale ‘ which was great and then went through to the restaurant. Had a really nice table in the corner.The restaurant has the kitchen in one corner so you can see everything being prepared and the fresh ingredients used throughout. Our party shared a selection of starters; the bruschetta and calamari were both tasty and well presented. We noticed some other diners eating super looking pizza’s so ordered the Asparagus and prosciutto and the Four seasons. Both were delicious.Service was excellent all evening, friendly yet polite and the bill was reasonable. I recommend and would certainly revisit.

popped in after a long week. warm welcome taken to nice table, they have tweaked the menu, some old favourites are back , started of with a couple of great cocktails. starters one crispy squid home made tarter sauce and lemon and one pigeon salad and fantastic dressing pigeon cooked to perfection. mains roast free range duck ( five spice ) the whole breast curly kale and on a bed of creamy coconut risotto, best risotto I have had since Venice. one bavette steak( huge ) in café de Paris butter and hand cut chips wonderful. deserts a portion of the home made three house chocolate truffles and the meringue now this was always good but they have tweaked it and made it even better both deserts no good at all if you are on a diet fantastic , washed down a with a great wine , great service through out , this restaurant never lets us down , superb meal all round

The food was quite good although a little expensive. The service was excellent. The restaurant is very nice inside.

This place has become our favorite in the area. The ovenbaked pizzas are excellent and they have a great choice of wine (our favourite is the "Vierkoppen" a cabarnet sauvignon from South Africa). The staff is super friendly and if you are happy to wait for a bit the bar, than you usually can find a place on Friday evening without booking.

Wow! Having never been to Surrey Quays before, I used TripAdvisor to find somewhere nice to meet a friend for a bite to eat as she was staying in the area. I was not disappointed so thanks to all the previous reviewers. The food was amazing, very simple but very well cooked. I had the chicken breast and it was perfectly seasoned and accompanied by some amazing fat chips which I would happily eat again right now! My friend had pizza and honestly said it might be the best pizza she had ever eaten, high praise indeed. We were also really impressed with the staff who were friendly and attentive but happily left us to enjoy our catch up. Highly recommended as lots of others have also said. Give it a try :-)

now I'm a long time fan of this restaurant , and there are new restaurants opening up in and around the area , some good and some not so, but the yellow house I'm my opinion is still way out in front of the others. this was our first visit in a while, took a chance made a late booking for seven. four adults and three small children ages 7,5,& 2,bt as usual they got us in. fantastic welcome from old friends , they set up a table in the bar area , and by the looks of things they were fully booked , no surprise really .mums greeted with a glass of prosecco, I had my normal espresso martini , no need to order they know I always start off with one of these , now the food, great mothers day menu ,starters one smoked salmon, one fish soup fantastic full of taste and a wonderful thick broth, and to sautéed chicken liver on toasted brioche and madeira jus , no complaints, great starters , mains to royal scotch roast beef with all the trimmings one roast blythburgh pork and roast spuds apple sauce braised onion, and one roast label anglias chicken breast with bread sauce and all the trimmings , again no complaints excellent mains. the children had spaghetti and meat balls , and a portion of the best chips anywhere , us adults were all after one ,deserts , by this time we were all near busting , but we just had to have the wonderful home made chocolate cake with fresh cream , to die for, the children all had ice creams , all of this was washed down with various cocktails , and never ending apple juice for the children, and great coffee at the end. wonderful food and fantastic service throughout as always , did not wait for anything even though they were full to the rafters , a great mothers day feast, and the new restaurant's in the area could all learn a thing or to from the yellow house , well done guys many thanks.

I had a meal there with friends 2-3 times. All plates well cooked with very good ingredients and nice appearance. The owner was super friendly and very helpful in giving advise about which food to choose and which drinks match our selection. Overall, really pleasant experience and very good to see independent restaurants like these do well in London.

My husband and I nipped into The Yellow House for a quick bite to eat after shopping. The pizzas are amazing! They took just slightly longer to make but we weren't fussed. However before we even noticed, the chef came out and apologised. They were so worth the wait. Our waitress was brilliant too and when she came to our table with the dessert menu and a plate with the most delicious looking chocolate cake, we just couldn't help chuckling at that clever ploy. And we couldn't resist either - I can confirm it was very scrumptious.

We were jet lagged tourists who needed a bitePro warmly greeted seated and waited upon quickly very nice young lady. StandardAmbiance and not to busy befor seven on friday.We asked for one portion between two graciously served on two platesFish and chips friday special chunky chips and two pieces of fish not bad but quite pricey. Burger and chunky chips very average and pricey. Looks like the pizza might be good seems to be the favourite

We used to visit the Yellow House years ago when it was at a different location. It was great, after about 12 years, to rediscover this little gem and to find the same friendly host.The menu not only comprises excellent pizzas but a full range of dishes to suit most pockets. The atmosphere is relaxed, yet the service is friendly and efficient.

A nice bottle of red with 3 pizzas on a crazy, windy Thursday. Perfect combination. The pizzas were yummy. I had the Jerusalem artichoke and wild mushroom pie. A tiny lit lemony but still delish. My friends had the buffalo mozzarella pie (very good) and English salami (good). Pizzas were a little slow coming out of the small, wood-fired stove. The owner sent over some bread (with chili oil) in the interim. And we had wine and good company too! We will definitely be back!

Just opposite Surrey quays station this is a lovely bar. A Restautent also but we didn't eat. However I've heard reviews of how great the food is . Great pizzas great staff and great wine. Defiantly visit here and enjoy the modern surroundings and a contemporary feel. Open of evening time mid week . Perfect place to visit with groups , friends or just to pop in alone. Thumbs up all round.

My husband and I went for our Valentines meal (a day after the official date to avoid the crowds) at Yellow House before heading to the cinema. The food was amazing, olives and tomato salad to start followed by a fantastic mushroom pizza and burger with great homemade ketchup (although the chips were a bit anaemic). I also had a delicious lycee and raspberry martini while my partner enjoyed the draught beer. The staff were friendly and attentive enough, although our starter arrived before our drinks but then we had ordered them at the same time and one was a cocktail. With our bill we got complementary homemade marshmallow which was melt in the mouth yumminess.All in all we really enjoyed our evening and will be back!

Visited for the first time before moving to new Surrey Quays development. The welcome was warm and welcoming as was the service generally. The piazza was fresh with great flavours and the burger in home made brioche buns delicious. We also enjoyed a mushroom risotto . The deserts were also tasty especially the lemon tart but we found the vanilla ice cream a little too creamy. We will be back.

I came here with a small group. There are cocktails available - not something I usually have. The pizza was lovely and a huge portion. I didn't order dessert as a result but did try some of the ice cream. It is home made and was the best I have ever tasted.

The Yellow House is a fab local restaurant offering a quality menu. The chefs are highly skilled- bread, patisserie, burger buns etc are all made in house. I can highly recommend the fish and chips on a Friday night after work! We've also had their burgers, pizza and items from the grill (different visits obviously) and enjoyed it all. If you're a pudding lover, the homemade offerings are wonderful but don't overlook the ice cream. The Yellow House ice cream is simply wonderful! Good cocktails, friendly staff- check it out!

We felt real lazy, first week back at work after. Xmas, so we thought we would use deliveroo , and orderd two pizzas and a portion of there great chunky chips with mayo, the food good as ever and what you come two expect from the yellow house, but dilverroo , spot on very quick and polite service , and the food was pipeing hot would use them again

I've been to this restaurant a couple of times before and always liked it. My husband took me here recently for my birthday and it was particularly good as they went to a big effort to decorate my dessert and sing me happy birthday (even though I was a bit embarrassed to be honest) as he'd told them when booking it was for a birthday. The chef also came out and had a chat with us afterwards, much nicer than the service you get in more chain-like places.The pizza here is really amazing, in particular it's much better than other similar places in the area such as the Canada Water Cafe. Also, if you don't feel like dessert, they have this little plate of really nice fudges for only a couple of pounds, which I often order as it saves me from feeling like I'm always the only person who doesn't want dessert without actually requiring me to eat a huge dessert!
