This is our local and we came here for my hen do for a bottomless brunch. The Woodlands are fantastic every time we go but they really were amazing here - they made everything feel simple, we ended up paying less than we thought as they spotted that some of our meals came under an offer, and they were absolutely brilliant with the bottomless - we nearly always had at least 2 drinks each as they wanted to ensure that no one was kept waiting. It's the best bottomless brunch I've ever been to and they really are fantastic.

We went for afternoon tea. It’s a lovely pub, beautifully furnished and we couldn’t fault the service. Our waitress, Molly, was amazing. Afternoon tea consists of a range of triangular sandwiches, a mini sausage roll each, a sultana scone each with butter, clotted cream and jam, 3 mini cakes each and fresh fruit. As you’d expect afternoon tea comes with tea or coffee. We opted for tea and were given a small pot of tea each. When we asked for more tea, we were told that only the first pot of tea was free and anymore was at an extra cost. I’ve never known to be charged extra for a tea bag and some hot water when having afternoon tea!

A lovely family style gastro pub. No chain brand food here with everything cooked fresh. It's not the cheapest but you get what you pay for and the food and service was excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. Highly recommend

Lovely surroundings and good staff. Menu is different as well as basic pub food, other choices too. Such as Stroganoff, sweet chilli chicken and lots of others

The service is outstanding. The staff are all friendly and welcoming. Glasses collected with none left on the table, Charli was lovely when she served us, happy, polite, nothing was to much trouble. Credit to the company

I celebrated my 60th birthday here on 6th January 2025, WOW, this venue is absolutely amazing, the food, the staff friendliness, we stayed in the presidential suite as well here in the Titanic hotel & the whole experience was just incredible & 1st class, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND, THANKYOU SOOOOO MUCH for making my special occasion so special

Was not what I was expecting for such a luxurious hotel and restaurant! Disappointed is an understatement, the starters was the only part of the meal. Steak and chips for main , full of fat and the chips was over done definitely not worth 38quid and the deserts absolutely terrible.... ice cold custard and ice cold crumble as if its just come out of the fridge , brought this to the attention of the waiter and was told regardless I'd still have to pay for it... very rude! 220pound for 2 people and the food was terrible it was supposed to be a Christmas eve special occasion but we ended up leaving. The staff was dressed in scruffy trainers too...definitely not expected for a 5* hotel

Service was great. Our waitress Alex was exceptional considering it was only her third week. We asked her about a starter as we weren’t sure what it was and she did admit she didn’t know which was better than fibbing us of which is what happened in the bar when we made a complaint! I would like to see staff trained better on the food and drink they are selling!

I absolutely love this restaurant! The food is always amazing, the staff are very attentive, helpful, polite, chatty and funny! Especially the young dude wearing the jacket... he was always busy ensuring that we and everybody was looked after! Very professional! This restaurant has the most amazing atmosphere! Always a joy to return! Love the food, staff and the venue!

Lovely venue and afternoon tea was amazing. Only thing was there didn’t seem enough staff and we had to keep asking for things. However it was very busy with Christmas so on the whole it was a lovely experience

I have been here before and never had a problem , the young man that came to table was very nice dressed in black suit , the other young man who was dressed in the waiting on clothes jeans was not very helpful , we asked for a desert menu and we picked desert and my friend wanted ice cream and he didn’t say what flavour there was we had to ask , he also yawned and was if he didn’t want to be there . I also noted that one of the chefs who was dressing a plate had a bottle of something and he squeezed some on to his hand and he looked up clocked me looking at him turn his back and proceeded to lick his palm of his hand . He must of thought I couldn’t see him but the angle I was I seen him . He then wiped his hand on apron and carried in what he was doing .

I had afternoon tea at Stanley's Bar & Grill with my cousin as we wanted to do something special on our day off work - it was perfect. Beautifully presented, with a range of teas, which was kept topped up throughout. It was excellent service and we enjoyed the lovely atmosphere. Recommended - we will be certain to visit again.

Stayed at the hotel for my birthday enjoyed a lovely meal. Lovely girl from Belfast served us. She was very helpful and a credit to the team.

Fabulous roast lamb. Served very pink which none of my three guests would normally eat, but they loved it ! An excellent Sancerre wine, and scrumptious desserts, we left well fed and watered !

A big thank you to Lee and his team for taking such great care of us for our parent's memorial. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We had our own private space which was lovely and it made a huge difference to our day. There was excellent communication throughout the booking process for a large number of people and I would recommend it without hesitation - thankyou.

A very enjoyable afternoon on the 13th Nov. Only downside is I felt that the size of the food portion compared to other events I have been to here was a very short measure. All my group felt the same.

Ordered a glass of prosecco with our meal and did not receive it although we have been charged for it. Everything else was great.

Great for catering for celiacs, but nearly 1 and 1/2 hours waiting for food when booking a table is a bit long , never had to wait in any place for this long, not good when took a toddler when hungry , service was slow too

A beautiful Afternoon Tea. We had to have a Gluten Free option and it was excellent Matthew our server was great, very polite and attentive.

Can honestly say this was the nicest afternoon Iv had. Missed a bit of sausage roll or pie but didn’t deflect our enjoyment. The young man that was serving us was very helpful and nothing too much trouble. Will be back again.

We ate from the Dockers menu as part of DBB. The food was excellent. Good quality and served in a timely manner.

Received vouchers as a gift hence my visit but wish I hadn’t bothered. Went for afternoon tea at £28.50 on top of which they added 10% service charge I didn’t realise until I got home. Food took about 40mins to arrive despite them already knowing my order prior to my arrival. Not value for money in my opinion. I have vouchers left over which I will not be returning to spend. View over dock was effectively view of adjacent derelict building. No ambience although did attend on a Tuesday early afternoon. Struggled to park and no space in car park so had to find space on street.

Had afternoon tea for 2. Service was great, plenty to eat, cool environment and the carrot cake was amazing.

We were the only ones in the restaurant and so were first to order, yet we waited 45 minutes for our drinks. After 25 minutes I asked where they were & it was a further 20 minutes before we got them. We had already finished our afternoon tea by the time they arrived. Staff did not seem too concerned and it was difficult to grab their attention. Food was ok, nothing special. A service charge is automatically added to the bill…I would not have tipped otherwise. Won’t be returning; I expected much more. However I’ve since heard many friends have had similar awful experiences there so I assume it’s standard

Had a lovely meal at Stanley's at the Titanic Hotel. The food was delicious - excellent flavours and well-presented, and there was a nice choice of options on the menu. The staff were absolutely exemplary and I couldn't praise them enough - so attentive and happy to help, always checking in to make sure I was ok and if I needed anything. Thoroughly recommend a meal here!

Service was slow & quality of food was not great. Vegetables very al dente & roast potatoes were hard. The red cabbage had a funny liquorice taste too it but that could be down to personal preference. Could not fault the meat though - beautifully cooked & tasted great. No real ambiance in the restaurant. Music playing very quietly in the background but so low could hardly hear it.

I think it’s terrible that you are now expected to pay for car parking and when I asked for some tap water for the table I was told ‘we don’t do tap water any more.’ It felt like we were being squeezed for every penny which really tainted the experience. I’ve been here fore afternoon tea many times but unfortunately this will be the last.

Staff disappeared after bringing the food. For a whole hour and a half not a single member of the team either approached the table or looked in our direction. Had to stand up and go and ask for more drinks. Couldn't get them to bring the bill to the table so walked to the exit to pay.... waitress didn't even look at to us, just printed out the bill and handed it to us silently.

Food was lovely and for the first time I was able to have a lovely gluten free desert. I ordered Sea bass from the gluten free menu and it was perfectly cooked, crispy and tasty. The chef did a great job and the staffs were very attentive and amazing.

Noisy. Bacon was overcooked and shrivelled. Tomatoes were cold in the middle - plate was filled with potato squares - butter was rock hard coffee wasn't hot enough Staff were lovely

Chilli chicken breast inedible, I’ve had dried fish that was moister than this. Table staff apologetic but still charged for a meal I didn’t eat. Be warned this is style over substance.

Our service was great. All of the menu items were explained and we did not feel rushed. Partner was very happy with her afternoon tea as we celebrated her birthday. Staff went above and beyond and provided a celebration platter free of charge. True act of kindness and consideration.

After being seated we were greeted with the most miserable waiter i have ever had the pleasure of meeting. The food was tasteless and we received the wrong order. My husband decided to take the incorrect order to avoid any further delays. Again the waiters response was just rude. I would not eat in this restaurant ever again !

Pretty decent meal with lovely service from Sophie. Loved my prawn starter and mother and brother loved their pork belly and burger mains. My main, rack of lamb, was a little spartan with only 2 ribs, admittedly additional pulled / shredded lamb was generous under the mash, but I’d ordered rack, not pulled / shredded.

After using the restaurant on a previous stay I expected far better, ordered a ribeye steak and specified it to be cooked as the chef would recommend, when it arrived the centre of the steak was cold and the fat was raw and not rendered at all. The waitress was called over and the problem highlighted, when she returned the steak to the open kitchen you could see the disgust on the chefs face and an obvious trap off, not what you expected when the kitchen is open! The second steak arrived and was far better, incorrect chips and a sauce I didn’t request. Overall very disappointing.

Excellent venue to celebrate a special birthday with afternoon tea. High quality food and service in beautiful surroundings. Looking forward to going again!

We had breakfast twice (saturday, sunday) and tea on saturday. We were extremely satisfied with the service we recieved.. and the food was outstanding each time.. very impressed with every aspect
