A lovely place to come for breakfast. Also had a few evening meals here. Great food everytime. Love it when Pam and Molly are working as they are so friendly and welcoming. We are regulars here and frequently use vouchers to enable us to afford to come as a family. We came on the Sunday at 5.15pm wanting the carvery to be very disappointed to find it ran out at 3pm. So we sort out what we want and go to the bar to order. There is one person serving and a big family order was being taken. Someone was waiting at the ba to be served and was finally served when another person came behind the bar The queue was getting a lot bigger and it was about 10 minutes before we had our order taken. Either they need more staff or they need to get an app for quicker ordering and less queueing. Also, maybe need to make sure they have enough food to last the day.

Excellent service from Harvey, Kieron & Rachel. Nothing was too much trouble & they all had lovely smiles. The chicken & ham pie was delicious. The mud house rose was lovely & dry. Thanks.

We were looking for somewhere different to take our grandson for food and a playarea for him we checked the Internet to find somewhere with a player each and this place advertised an indoor playarea brilliant incase it rains we told our grandson's booked a table we arrived in plenty of time we asked about the indoor playarea to be told that there wasn't one just a slide and climbing frame outdoors in unkempt garden area disappointed we ate and left consoling our grandson sorry but won't be back in a hurry

Staying in Premier Inn next door and booked table for 8.15pm. Ordered a starter and a main course - the first of which took 20 minutes to arrive. After I had eaten that and my main- and the person who served me at the till allowed me to keep my tab open. I then asked a member of staff who was curt, to be honest about a desert and a coffee. ' Too late' she snapped, we stop serving at 9.00- a fact there was n o mention of in the menu or any notice at the bar. She just shrugged her shouldedrs. I then had to queue for 10 minutes to pay my bill- not in a happy frame of mind as there was one person behind the bare selling drinks and sorting out bills. Accept it may be unusual, but no way was that in any way shape or form an acceptable way to treat a customer

Relaxed and friendly place, tend to go here for family meals. Food is always tasty and plentiful, staff helpful. Have tried a couple of other local pubs recently and been disappointed, we always end up returning here. Great discounts if you sign up.

like winwick quay as it is easy to get there plenty of parking. The staff are very polite and helpful. Harvey who brought our meals was very nice to speak to . We enjoyed our meal and would go back again soon.

We just went in here today for a quick lunch on the way back from somewhere, as we hadnt been for a while. We had the value deal 2 meals for a set price. I had a burger and my husband had a club sandwich and chips (you pay an extra £1 for some chips). It was lovely especially for the price and the burger had a nice taste and wasnt greasy and was lean. We got brought out 2 club sandwiches but when explained I had ordered a burger the lad who served us was very polite and just brought the burger out to us. The manager (I think it was the manager with glasses) and the lad behind the till taking the orders were friendly and it had a relaxed feel. We would return to here as good value nice food with friendly staff.

Ordered a child’s fish bites and asked for jacket potato instead of chips, I was asked if I wanted 2 small or 1 large jacket, I said whatever comes is fine, little did I know they were on potato rations! The 2 that arrived were a tiny bit bigger than the fish bites. When we told staff they were tiny the reply we got was ‘ I know, ridiculous isn’t it!?’ We also had to send back a minute portion of burnt chips. Staff are always friendly but service and portion sizes have become somewhat of a joke in here now. Sad as I feel they will soon be losing a lot of regulars!

Our favourite local carvery. Food is always of good quality and plentiful. Staff are friendly. Both fizzy and hot bottomless drinks are available making it good value. The layout of the restaurant means that you can have effectively a very quiet family meal which is helpful won't our son who can be overwhelmed by noise.

We always come here for family breakfast as its the best value for money during the school holidays, Treated my sons today before they go away for a few days, and it was possibly the best visit weve had, despite it being really busy, our server Pam, couldnt of been any more attentive and friendly, we made a special request of the chef, but said if he was too busy, not to worry about it, Pam did come back to say it was too busy, but to my surprise when the breakfast came out, she had the special request too! So hats off to chef Mike too (best fried bread ive had in a long time). Highly recommend coming for breakfast, especially as for £9.99 2 kids eat free with every paying adult! Nothing was too much trouble today!

After an eventful morning we came here for breakfast. We thought breakfast was till 11. Turned up at 10.40 and the manager said we was too late but he could make us some bacon and sausage toasties. We was made up absolutely star service. The manager deserves a recognition 👏

Been ages since I have been here but as stopping in the hotel next door gave it a try. Good service and the food was good quality and reasonably priced. Nothing to rave about but good enough for me to return for a second night.

I was only able to choose one meal option, but we actually had breakfast and dinner here on two occasions whilst staying at the Premier Inn next door. There were 6 of us and we had a variety of dishes: burgers, sweet potato curry, smothered chicken, mac n cheese bites, and steak. Every meal went down really well with the family, but I have to give an extra shout out to Tez who cooked the steak. I asked for medium-well, but asked for it on the more 'well done' end. It was perfect, really soft and moist but without the pink showing. The nicest steak I've had outside of an actual steak house! In addition to the food, the staff were really friendly and the service was excellent, would highly recommend and we would definitely stay here again on the way up to Scotland.

The 4 of us booked in to the Premiere Inn next door and chose to have our breakfast and evening meal at the Winwick Quay. We found the various dishes we chose over the 3 nights to be tasty and good in size and price. These ranged from battered Haddock and chips, Piti Piti chicken, smothered chicken, curry and a mixed grill, to name a few. The starters and desserts were also excellent, my waistline will tell. A special mention to Benny and Molly who welcomed us on out first nigh and all the other outstanding staff. We are planning to return next year.

Came in with my boyfriend for a Sunday roast, everything tasted very fresh and delicious with a plenty of sides to choose from. Not our first visit and will definitely return!

Arrived fairly late on a Sunday evening and was pleasantly surprised to find that the carvery was still available. Karl, the duty chef on the carvery, kindly waited until I had been served and eaten my starter........he had been about to start clearing everything away after what must have been a long and busy shift. Similarly, Conor, who was taking food orders and serving behind the bar, was efficient and friendly.
