Cute little pub with a roaring fire. Show the football and have great Guinness. 5/5.

Came here on a Friday evening after a meal elsewhere and it was the worst pub I’ve ever visited. The atmosphere was cold, borderline intimidating. The pint glass smelled odd and it was filthy. We left before finishing even half of our pints.

Classic pub linked to London Business School and a popular spot for post-cricket drinks.

A wonderful little treat of a scrumptious pizza (and gluttonous burger)! A quiet Saturday before a walk in the park was greeted with such a good pizza we had to walk for longer. Lovely team looked after us (and adored the dog!)

Revisited today after a couple of years. Was completely empty apart from my group. After almost 10 minutes getting the draft beer ready for serving, had the cheek to add a £2. 44 service charge on top of the charge for three pints. Beer was not great either. Left asap and pub was once again empty. Won't be visiting again in the unlikely event it is still open.

We were walking past Windsor Castle on way to the Lords, stopped over for a pint and pee Staff were welcoming, lovely service, which lacks in many pubs now a days When leaving went to say bye to staff two staff were having lunch and two staff were at the bar , all four were really engaging and genuinely pleased with our business We would definitely come back when in the area agian

Fish (certainly neither cod nor haddock) and chips straight from freezer to deep fat fryer: very average for £30.00. Beer in a flimsy plastic cup £6.50, bottle of coke £3.95, also served in plastic. And a 'service' charge of £5. There are SO many places in London that are better than this - AVOID!

Lovely cosy pub 7 minutes walk from Baker street station. Attentive and friendly staff, Cristina is especially lovely towards customers and make sure everyone is having a good time. Lovely foid , Pizza is excellent! Cheffs do a great job.

Amazing pup at shot walking distance from Backer Street tube station, great food ( the Windsor pizza was the best pizza I ever had. A special thank goes to Cristina for making our experience even more enjoyable. Thank you! We will be back soon. Xx

An interesting pub, close to the zoo. Simple and unassuming. A range of keg ales on offer, also four cask pumps visible but, only one with a clip on. A good pint of Estrella but please let me see what you are charging me on the pdq (not just me) I'm sure nothing untoward but the customer should be able to see what they are paying. Reserved seats at the end of the bar as you enter, not looking very welcoming. Atmosphere in the pub was jovial and calm. A difficult review, no WiFi, maybe the reason??

We were served by Christina, who was absolutely lovely! We got a really good pizza and an additional pint for £1! Can’t complain at that. Would highly recommend ☺️

If you’re coming for some pub food you’re better off taking your money and going to Soho. Extremely oily, microwaved fish and chips for which we paid £50 total.

Arrogant owner serves off pints that aren’t even the brew you ask for - pre pours the taps into jugs to “speed up service” but doesn’t even give you what you ordered in the first place. Don’t waste your time Toilets are also a disgrace, as are the plastic pints and the owners attitude.

The female bar person with the short hair is a credit to the establishment 💎

Never had any food but seen others with food and it looks tremendous. Bar man was very friendly and banter was great. Pours a good pint and the beer was brilliant

Best bar i’ve ever been in my whole life… And i’m from London. Insane drinks and workers. I fell in love with the place and by far the best place in london, not only because of the service, but the atmosphere and food is by far the best you can find in London. Thanks for the experience!

While the atmosphere, food and service was exceptional, it was the fun, energetic and candid banter that made the evening. Christina and staff all set the "bar"/"pub" high...check this place out!

We had Sunday lunch here, both choosing burgers. They were really juicy and tasty and I recommend them. We actually booked as so many pubs get really full up at Sunday lunch times, but there was Jo need. Although there was a steady stream of customers, there was always plenty of space. There are some tables outside the front that look nice to sit at when the weather is good.

Wandered into here after walking Baker Street. Excellent pizza and a very calm vibe. The football match was on tv and some supporters were there that looked like they were heading to a match afterwards. Friendly staff and reasonable prices!

Visited this pub in error Long story. Lady behind the bar was very friendly. The exact opposite of what us northerners believe Food and drink reasonably priced. Would recommend

Just what we needed. A very friendly, dog-friendly, place. Iced bowl of water for the dogs, nice burgers and fries for us, and Leffe on tap. Not too busy and nice local feel

Beware for the sneaky table service charge for drinks! Luckily I had seen this on another review & was prepared. The waitress “pff’d” me when she confirmed there was a charge so I said I would order and collect at the bar instead - which was 2 paces away. Not a nice experience :(

The staff was wonderful. Very friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious (had fish and chips and chicken tiki masala). The leffe on tap was the best beer I had while in London. Will return again!

Hosted our club’s social gatherings upstairs and it was great. Nice food, good vibes. They overcharged the price but other than that everything was up to expectations.

Nous avons pris un déjeuner tardif dans ce pub à l’atmosphère chaleureuse. Accueillis par un feu de cheminée et une ambiance calme. Nous avons mangé un bon burger et une grande pizza, 2 plats copieux et appétissants. L’addition nous a semblé un peu salée pour un repas de pub (50£ pour 2 plats et 2 boissons), mais c’est sans doute lié à la situation de l’établissement à 2 pas de Regents Park.

As a couple of Aussies, far from home, we found ourselves here on 18 Sep 22… on the day of Her Majesty’s Funeral. The service at the pub was fantastic (Christina), and lunch was commendable. Well priced and good quality. We will be back.

Only scammers work in this pub! A girl-boy with a short haircut pours some kind of mixture into drinks, from which it quickly becomes ill. Be careful and never go to this bar!!!!!!!

Brilliant boozer. Lunchtime footy before the Hundred final at Lord's. Very busy but staff were so efficient and friendly, everything worked like a well maintained clock. Even managed to do table service. Great experience apart from the footy score but that wasn't their fault. My new pre Cricket venue.

Not a bad pub in terms of situation and staff were nice. Had a pint outside and noticed how run down the paintwork was. Didn't effect my pint, but the place could do with a facelift.

Great place! Bit smaller than the photos but it's expected in London. The staff are LOVELY and the clientele are also nice too. I didn't have food but I did bring my dog and they were really dog friendly. Even got him a dog bowl as soon as I arrived (not sure how they knew I was walking in). The location is great too because I was able to walk to Greenwich park quickly as well. Lovely experience and will return again.

Ordered while sat upstairs as there was a large queue at the bar, received an email confirming the order, price on card machine when brought up was increased by 20%, when I said no it’s not correct she said a service charge is added because they had to bring the 1 drink upstairs, if I had known this I would have waited & ordered at the bar. The lady had short brown hair & was very rude, when she brought up our tables food was angry when shouting the order we asked whose name it was under as several people ordered the same meal with slight amendments. Cutlery was forgotten, the staff in general just had an attitude like they didn’t want any of us there even though there was about 20 of us (they had originally wanted £20 per head deposit to book a table!) really not impressed with the staff & their attitude, based on this experience I wouldn’t be going back.

We went as a group because it was the Day of the EFL 1 play-offs, the beer and food was Lovely. Ronaldo and his Bar staff made the experience excellent and welcoming (and we won so we got free beer). Thank you for making the weekend much better and we will be back!

I haven't been to the Windsor Castle for a good few years. My local has changed hands and caused me a problem. Where can I get good pub grub? The Windsor Castle was always good but things change, so I thought I'd give it a go. First up the barman/waiter could not be more accommodating. 5🌟 2nd I asked for an IPA. One I'd never heard of and sorry it has slipped my mind now.. Great but of course personal taste. Then the food. The menu is 'short'. That can be a problem but also I think it is better to do a few things well rather than a lot of things badly or average. I took a burger that was clearly home made and very tasty. It was presented well and was reasonably priced for the area. Picture attached simply as I sent a gloating WhatsApp to my daughter. It's a few extra minutes walk from my office but I will definitely go again. Enjoy. 😎

Student pub, good crowd but wouldn’t recommend to eat the fish & chips.

Service charge added for drinks and not disclosed, they just show you the card machine to tap. They won't serve you at the bar, you can only order via a rude woman who comes to the table.

Super little pub tucked away in St John's Wood with a lovely menu and Stella on tap... highly recommended! Service is great and food takes about 29 mins which is a brilliant sign that it is cooked fresh and not microwaved, they also do the burgers without the Bun so keto friendly!!

I usually don't leave reviews for places unless I really have an exceptional experience with the food; staff, etc. My food was prepared to order with no mistakes. The bacon was as ordered, crispy bacon. The prices are reasonable and if I could compare it to another place nearby, it was ten times better for the same price... all was just great. I highly recommend a visit here.

What an absolute gem! 3 of us came here for an early dinner on Saturday 11th December after a very crowded and hectic day in the city. The place was eerily quiet but oh so welcoming with a blazing log fire and super friendly staff - an oasis of calm and tranquility! Food and drinks were good and very reasonably priced, lovely relaxed setting, can't fault it.

Could be a nice place but we were poorly hosted, as if the staff couldn’t quite be bothered. There is a log fire, which we asked them to light for us but they didn’t. The space is quite nice, but I’d go elsewhere in the future. The only benefit was a piano which we were allowed to play.

Had a wonderful time at The Windsor Castle, the food was fantastic but what really made was the fantastic staff, made us feel so welcome and couldn't do more for us. Really was a great night and I thoroughly recommend this pub.

Weird pub, staff are a bit cold and they charge you service charge per pint. The charge is added on when you order, there’s no bar service due to Covid regulations so the staff sneak it on without asking you when they take card payment. Very cheeky.

This pub has definitely seen better days. Disappointed with the ale choice and the staff were so incredibly not interested in serving or wanting speaking to us (a group of 10 wanting to spend money on a very, very quiet afternoon). Big shame but I can see why it was empty.

Just had dinner here and all i can say is this place crazy, the Indonesian food are awesome and authentic..Feels like my mom cook for me!!

Lip-smacking Authentic Modern Indonesian Cuisine, with Superb Service in the Heart of London……….. A very close friend of mine, got us all his close friends addicted to the scrumptious taste of Indonesian food many years ago, during our trip to Jakarta and Puncak in Indonesia during his Sister’s wedding some years ago. Since then, I’ve have been missing authentic Indonesian food in London. Although there are a few Indonesian Restaurants around, but, quite away from my home, and I wished there was one close by. He pleasantly surprised me, by introducing me to the newly opened “Authentic, modern Indonesian Restaurant” in London, opened recently by his nephew’s young son, Mr. Aman Lakhiani and his colleagues, in an existing pub in London. And, now with, the opening of “Sawah Authentic Modern Indonesian Restaurant” in the famous London Pub called “Windsor Castle”, which had been a landmark of London, & a heritage building, since ages, it’s become a reality! Eating and drinking among the young Student groups, mainly from London Business School close by, made me feel like a teenager, once again, too ! That too, in the heart of London, very close to Regents Park, and London Business School on Park Road, London. The food is lip-smacking, service is superb, as Mr. Lakhiani himself prepares some of the special dishes himself, which he artistically created with the help of his colleagues, and the ambiance is appropriate to compliment this amazing set up, making it an enjoyable experience, to repeat again and again. Just one warning, do not get addicted to it, else, you may forget the taste of the variety of other cuisines, too, available in London. I wish Mr. Aman Lakhiani, and his colleagues continued progress to attain the “Peak of Success” in all their endeavours! Ashandkaren

Fabulous pub for a Sunday afternoon (or any time) - rather a fascinating building, lots of character, and we all enjoyed the food and wine. They also have some great spirits including Japanese whiskies.

Good location near the park, often gets busy during summer specially during cricket season.

My mother hosted her birthday party here. Ronaldo was very helpful with the organising and the whole event went smoothly. It was a lovely and easy afternoon.

Visited with friends on a Friday afternoon and would never go again. The pizza came out and when it was served we were told the chef would cook another if we thought it was burnt, the pizza was cremates! We ordered 2 lots of fresh cut chips, the chips were not fresh and had been re heated at least 3 times, they were like cardboard, when I tried to break one a piece of chip flew across the table! The girl serving us was pleasant and then went downstairs had a nice atmosphere however I would avoid ordering food here. Waste of money.

My friend lives across the road and we decided to go for a beer and pizza early on a Sunday evening. A real lovely old fashioned pub. There were a couple of good beers on draft including my favourite- Erdinger Weiss. We selected a couple of pizzas which was one of the main food items that others have commented on. Indeed they were great as well as being from a wood fired oven. Add to that a warm welcome and we left satisfied.

I would encourage anyone in the local area (around Baker street/marylebone) to bypass the tourist pubs and walk an extra couple of minutes to the Windsor castle. Possibly the best home made burgers & pizzas for miles around. Meeting the landlord Ronaldo, is worth the extra effort itself!. The drinks are always clear and fresh - no dirty glasses or duff beer served from dirty pipes here, try it and enjoy

Visited yesterday for a quick meal before a graduation. Great staff, great burgers, great pizza. Very welcoming manager who was helpful with our demands. If you can walk just that little further it’s worth the effort.

Have had great work drinks there and thought they would be good for lunch. It was on the expensive side for a pub lunch. But the horrible thing is I had to wait 50 mins for my meal and the chips had been 10 times fried and were inedible. They also lost half of the orders in my group and I had to order again. Despite taking my order by hand they couldn't manage a burger without a bun. Disaster all around.
