Awful service, lovely employed assistant who was polite and courteous, but the older people who worked there avoided eye contact once the order was past the time it should have been ready. I was told 20 minutes and waited 50, having to ask twice for progress reports, politely responded to by young assistant but simply ignored by the older woman, what really got my goat was, no ' sorry" no jokey " finally " nothing, not even met my eyes as it was pushed at me. The lady behind me had waited an hour and had been told 25 minutes. The food is good, no doubt, but I won't go back, shame I have been visiting it for at least 20 years, so they have lost a customer

A hidden gem! Well worth a visit when open. Lovely food, and homemade cakes! The Windmill is staffed by knowledgeable volunteers who will take you up the windmill to see the views!

We ordered four different dishes for an evening meal, but to be honest there was so much salt in every meal that you could not determine what each individual meal tasted of. Chalk up to experience but there will not be a return visit.

Only ordered from here as it was late and the others had closed. It was the worst meal we've had in years. Chicken full of gristle, tasteless noodles. Needless to say it wasn't eaten and we won't be using this again, even if the others are closed!

Authentic Chinese - I love it. wish they were open for lunch everyday! A little oasis of flavour in an otherwise bleak landscape...

Very poor unfortunately. Satay chicken was dry with no decernable taste of peanut sauce. The chicken curry was watery and very little flavour. The Singapore fried rice was very disappointing. Just hand a few tiny sliced pieces of chilli in it. Never again. Oh, delivered very late as well. Much better out there.

We got home to East Sussex after a marathon 565 mile across France today and didn’t fancy cooking even though we were starving. I decided to give Yaw’s Kitchen a try for the first time in five years. I’d heard someone on the radio talking about Chinese takeaways it left me with a craving! I have to say it was much improved and really very good. The lady on the phone was polite and efficient - she told me it would be ready in fifteen minutes and it was. It was fresh, piping hot and truly excellent. Keep up the great work. I’ll be back.
