We had my mum's wake at The Willowbrook 2 weeks ago. The staff were amazing and accommodating to all our needs. A very special thank you to Debbie, who was in charge of the buffet! The food was fresh and delicious. We can't thank you enough for making a sad day go so smoothly.

Been here for breakfast a few times now, always an enjoyable meal, good deal on the breakfasts as well. Large 2 for £12 Small 2 for £10. When I went on Saturday we found it very loud and hard to hear the whole party talk. Food took over 45 minutes as well because they were busy.

Went in Christmas eve. Door staff very nice and welcoming. Bar staff very savy and great. The customers very nice and welcoming.

Was very quiet as went at lunch time. Had a breakfast. Was absolutely 💯 all cooked perfectly, the staff was very friendly and even put my blanket to my mobility on radiator to keep me warm. Will go again. The breakfast was good value to.2 large breakfast with tea and toast £12.00 😋 BARGAIN. X

Great Christmas party. Staff were so helpful, service great. New chef produced a varied menu, tasty and well presented. The team made a lot of effort to ensure all 29 of us had a lovely time. Highly recommend.

Stopped for some food, first time visiting. No car park, but one opposite that is free for 2 hours with a ticket. Food was lovely, served quickly and friendly staff. Offer GF beef and chicken burgers too! Would go again if in the area!

Great venue, you can use the car park across the way 2 hours free parking with a ticket. Great value breakfast, tea and coffee, we have had main meals here too. Definitely recommend a visit.

Brilliant gluten free breakfast tasted amazing I ordered small but was definitely filling and lovely tasting, i will be going back whenever we go out for breakfast as it was just the best gluten free breakfast I've had in a long while.

Unprofessional service. My husbands soup was served without a spoon, when we pointed this out to the waitress, she brought a spoon,but, I would describe 'she threw it down', no apolo.long wait for the main course. Roast dinner, pork was fatty, veg soggy and overcooked, watery gravy. Very disappointed. Definitely would not return.

The pub was really busy but the people wanting drinks didn't have to wait long for them. We were a party of 22 for a family birthday celebration in the function room. It was brilliantly decorated with the balloons and banners we had provided and the table ,cutlery and glasses were laid out in very professional manner. Cannot praise the staff highly enough for their service and friendly efficient manner. The food was everything we could have asked for and cooked really well. Therefore special praise for the chef. If you want to celebrate then The Willowbrook is the place to go.

Feels like a local, bar staff are talkative, can have a laugh with them and look after you. I've been going in the WB for years and it's a second home to me.

Sunday afternoon 27/3 Castle Rock Harvest Pale was excellent, sadly what concerns me a lad was bit around the lip by a quite a big dog, those with the dog disappeared quite quickly after talking to a member of staff out the front, the youth left for hospital in a car holding his mouth with a bloody rag? I would be interested to know of this lads condition is? No police where called?

Absolutely superb breakfast and at 2 for £10 you simply cannot go wrong. Everything was cooked very well and served with a smile. The sausages were q particular highlight and I'd recommend the food to anyone. Thanks all!

Not up to usual standard and service was terrible , tables left dirty and not cleared away , service very slow and Sunday dinner seemed to be frozen roast potatoes, never use to be , and Yorkshire puddings have been scaled down

Pizza was superb. Had the Korean pizza and the portion size was fabulous as was the flavour. Absolutely recommended to anyone in the area!

Went in for drinks to watch a Euro football match. As always impeccable service and a great range of real ales. Thankfully there were no what i would call 'jobsworth' staff at this establishment. Just staff that were happy to help and create a relaxed environment - the kind that used to be prevalent pre Covid restrictions. Thanks to all.

Took my daughter for lunch in the week. The weather was terrible but we got to sit at the rear of the pub. It was all covered over with loads of heaters to keep us warm. 100% recommend 👍🏼

Staff are beyond incompetent and rude, whereas management proudly allow racial comments and homophobic slurs to be made freely. Do not visit!

Solía ser un habitual aquí antes del cierre y pensé en regresar y mostrar apoyo para un negocio local.Absolutamente espantoso. Sentado en un pub casi vacío, el personal charlando en el bar y ignorándome. Me levanté para llamar su atención y me pidieron que volviera a sentarme y alguien tomaría mi pedido. Finalmente pude pedir un gran desayuno, pero ojalá no me hubiera molestado. Los cubiertos y las tazas de té estaban lejos de estar limpios y el tocino tenía al menos 3 tonos diferentes de púrpura y no era comestible.Las salchichas también eran insípidas. Dejé la mayor parte de la comida y salí del pub. Ciertamente no volveré. Sin ambiente y personal desinteresado. Sin puntos positivos en absoluto. Es una pena que solía ser un gran lugar para reunirse con amigos.

4 en punto el sábado por la tarde, me quedé parado en el libro de facturación del covid durante 10 minutos mientras 5 empleados estaban charlando 1 limpiando una bomba, deberíamos habernos ido, pero habíamos tomado 2 autobuses y viajamos a la mitad de Nottingham para estar aquí, era el cumpleaños de mi hijo, el pub estaba vacío, pocos afuera, finalmente me acerqué para registrarme, ya lo había hecho, le pregunté si podía mirar para ver qué mano sacaba la cerveza en el bar, tenía que ir y preguntarle a alguien si podía tomar los 10 pasos más o menos más allá del punto de inicio de sesión para mirar los clips de la bomba, eso fue un no, el pub estaba vacío, así que ella me dijo las cervezas, mi elección Elise Mo estaba limpiando, solo dame una cerveza de mano , su superventas y sidra de frutas.Me temo que he intentado apoyar a estos pubs y cualquier visita a un pub de Castle Rock hace que fluya mi jugo, esta nueva normalidad no funciona para mí, no me he perdido muchos sábados por la noche o domingos por la tarde en los últimos 37 años, pero lo llamo un día. Visitamos aquí con la familia: hay un gran jardín / área al aire libre, pero absolutamente ninguna sombra, lo que fue decepcionante, dado nuestro enfoque en la sol y mi piel clara. Almorzamos aquí, pedí el pescado y fue realmente decepcionante, no había nada bueno, pero las hamburguesas y Gamon ordenadas por otros fueron bien recibidas.

Just moved to the area so I thought I would sample a few in the local real ales pub. The pint of Timothy Taylor's landlord was absolutely fool by far the worst I've every tasted.

Went there this evening and the gluten free range of food was great, spoilt for choice really. They also have a wide range of vegetarian meals so all our party could enjoy something from the menu. Great atmosphere and Dog and child friendly place. front and rear gardens for outdoor seating too

Primera visita después de pasar por toda mi vida. Nunca pensé entrar antes hasta hoy. Qué delicia. Platos principales 2 por 10 de los cuales consistían en 4 onzas de hamburguesa con queso en bollo de brioche, papas fritas y ensalada (que era extremadamente fresca y crujiente en un aderezo ligero) y Whitby Scampi, papas fritas, guisantes blandos y ensalada (nuevamente muy fresca en una luz aderezo) rematado con una taza de té para dos. El proyecto de ley totalizó 11. 80 y fue la mejor hamburguesa que he probado en mucho tiempo. Gran ambiente y personal amable. Probaré el desayuno la próxima vez.

Decepcionado al descubrir que fumar en el jardín trasero de la cerveza ahora es común. Visité algunas veces durante el período de Semana Santa y descubrí que 2 de cada 3 personas fumaban en el jardín trasero. El personal vino y recogió vasos, pero nadie dijo nada a los fumadores. El lunes de Pascua, los ceniceros estaban en todas las mesas afuera en el jardín trasero. No hay letreros en el exterior que digan que no se fume, solo uno en la puerta del invernadero al salir. ¿Puede Willowbrook confirmar que el jardín trasero es una zona libre de humo o no? Si es posible, se puede hacer más para evitar que las personas lo hagan como el personal que supervisa el jardín más de cerca

My first time visit, went with Daughter, Son In Law, His sister and Hubby. 5 of us for Breakfast, Saturday 3/11/18. Lovely venue, Great Breakfast, quantity with Quality. A rare thing. Would recommend as could not find fault with anything at all. Word of warning, we got in around 9.30 AM, don`t leave it any later, got very full very quickly, people wanting table before you leave and before staff can clear away. No fault with very pleasant staff it`s just that the place is so popular. We ALL enjoyed it. My delicious Breakfast plate was left completely bare. Says it all really.

Great quality food and good sized portions, good deals if in a pair. Gets quite busy on a Saturday morning but has a great atmosphere. Shame they have changed the veggie sausages supplier as that would have tipped to a 5 star rating :-)

El personal es muy bueno y servicial ya que mi amigo pidió pollo y ella dijo que era picante; entonces preguntamos si podría tener algo más y estaban felices de cambiar. La comida estaba buenísima; la botella de vino costaba 18 libras; el entaintenment fue fabuloso sobre todo noche fantástica volveré x

A Castle Rock pub with 5 of their own and as many other real ales with good turn over. Interesting little menu too. Unpretentious, plenty of room low key but friendly pub.

I must admit I enjoy going to the willowbrook, it has a good environment and it's great seeing the local community use this place to socialise.

Called in for lunch after a morning walking through Gedling Country Park. We found the place to be pretty quiet apart from a few ladies with sleeping babies having coffee. I ordered a fish finger sandwich and my husband a cottage pie. The food was quick to arrive and was hot and tasty. My husband's pie portion was very filling and my fish finger butty was really nice as it was fresh battered fish rather than breaded as I expected. We were both really full after and languished around longer than we expected in order to put off the inevitable up hill walk back home. In summery the Willowbrook is a bright and airy pub, with good food and service and an extensive selection of real ales to please any CAMRA member.

We visited the willowbrook as a party of 26 after being let down by another venue. They couldn't have been more helpful putting tables together for us, taking orders for drinks and food at the table and sorting out individual bills. This was all done on a Saturday evening when the pub was already busy.The food was good and served hot, not easy when it all came out at the same time and obviously hadn't been pre-ordered. They made what could have been a bad experience into a good evening for all.

A crowd of us arrived here yesterday evening after a "mix up of dates" at the local italian. The staff quickly made room and looked after us. The food was tasty and good value and the atmosphere was superb. Thank you for a super evening.

Came here with my husband and grandson for dinner. The adult meals can't complain about the portions are very big.When it comes to the selection of child's meals they seem a bit odd.Fish and Chips Sausage's and Mash - that's ok Mushroom pasta Salad not sure how many children like salad.What would be more suitable would be fish fingers, chicken nuggets, pizza and tomato based pasta.I ordered the fish and chips which was nearest to fish fingers and my grandson did not eat it. The portion was far too big.

Stopped off after a long bike ride for a drink and a sandwich. I ordered the Willowbrook sandwich. This is a toasted sandwich with salad chicken bacon egg etc. The sandwich was excellent with tasty fresh ingredients. The problem with it it was too big for me but my brother who was with me didn't hesitate to finish it off. Nice fries also and no hint of them being greasy. Thank you
