11 of us Came for father in laws 55 birthday food was spot on but never got the kids deserts also bar staff said the app was not working so had to pay full price well over £200 but was hoping to get a 25% discount with our app but was told not working the discount was one of the reasons we visited

Good wholesome food and polite service

I absolutely loved the food and the restaurant and the service was excellent, especially a server called Natalia , she deserves a promotion for her kindness

Popped in at 3.50pm for a last minute dinner as a table of 5. Was told no tables available if we haven't booked, yet there was clearly plenty empty. We were told we could sit in the bar. A good job I've been before and know to order at the bar as I weren't told we were supposed to. There were dogs everywhere, majority on leads but one walking round freely constantly under our table and the next table had one of their dogs on the table. Salad bar was nearly empty and had to ask twice for it to be restocked. All salad bowls, main plates and empty drinks left on the table to be shoved to the side when we requested the children's desserts. I asked who the manager was to be be pointed to the same rude, face pierced, male that told us there were no tables to start. I usually enjoy Wilford harvester and have had no problems before. Whatever's changed, change it back, bar the menu, that has lots of tasty options and the food was good. Alita was helpful and friendly.

Experience ruined by terrible attitude from who I presume is the manager , we went in as a table of five given it was not very busy in there. We asked for table and was asked if we could be seated near the back and the manager said no . We let this go and sat down where we was allocated only to find there was food scattered all over the place , it was such pig sty but politely asked the waitress if they had a separate table we can be placed on and she went to ask the manager who had told her no because it’s bank holiday and they are fully booked. So I decided to go online and as I expected I managed to book on line with no isssues . One thing I hate rudeness especially in a hospitality business but the yo also be a liar I’m sorry that just takes the Micky . I suggest the chain to look in to how they do train their management team to avoid this kind of behaviour as the attitude and lie just cost the company approximately £300 business on the day and I will be sure to tell my friends not to use this one in Wilford just from that poor experience .

The food was great, but I'm fussy. It's a relaxed atmosphere, and so convenient. Loved it.

Our waiter Kayla was so friendly, hospitable and made it a really nice experience. The unlimited salad is really nice and the steak here is nicer than steakhouses. Love going to Harvester!

Very slow service and waiting staff need personality transplants! We needed more cutlery (we were a party of nine, having two courses) and the waiter wanted to know precisely how many knives and forks we needed, as there were three already in the cutlery bin, to be used! It was easier just to bring nine (or eighteen - two courses x nine people!) but he made it hard work!!

Natalia was the loveliest waitress I've ever had the pleasure of being served by. Completely made the entire experience. Either give her a raise or a glowing letter of recommendation so she can get a higher-paying job. She's remarkably underutilised there.

It wasn't their finest hour - had lots of beautiful meals here and this time the food was still lovely! However, this was my birthday meal and a few of our party received another table's food initially which was not ideal but was dealt with after we sent them back. In their defence the restaurant was very busy and we were a party of 13 people. I will go back as the food was good and every place can have a bad day especially when so busy. The atmosphere felt quite chaotic and not a relaxing birthday vibe on this particular occasion!

Best eggs Benedict we have ever had (made by chef Gopi). Great value and on Easter Sunday the service and atmosphere have been great. Our server Aleta was very helpful.

We booked for 10 lovely ladies with various mobility issues today, and we had an absolutely wonderful time. Specifically, our server Lauren was the highlight of the experience. She was incredibly patient, kind and attentive to all of our needs and went above and beyond to cater for us all💜 Thank you so much!!

We had a very nice midweek night out, food was fresh and tasty, good price for money, and Julia, the waiter, was helpful and very kind.

We were late in the evening so a little not available great to hear how busy it had been waitress was excellent

For a chain outlet it was very good. Wide menu, lovely salads included. VG service. Plenty of free parking (enter reg No.).

Wasn’t asked what I’d like to order and had to approach staff myself. Wasn’t asked if I’d like a drink. Wasn’t asked if I needed my bill. Customer service was zero. No interaction with anyone at all!?!?!

BE AWARE!!!!!! I was not aware that l needed to register my car in the car park. I was not prompted to do so, which has landed me with a £100 fine. I can pay £60 now or appeal. If l lose the appeal, l'll have to pay the full £100. I have since called Harvester, who promptly cancelled the fine. It was a lot of stress. Please ensure that you register your car on entry.

Lauren, our server, was amazing. Very attentive and provided a great experience for my mothers 94th Birthday. Thank you Lauren.

I dined in a couple of times without realising the carpark now required you to enter your registration plate at the bar. However the member of staff I spoke with over the phone, Cameron, was very courteous and helpful with resolving this. A good spot to eat, with great staff 👍

Great service by Oliver very fast and personable, the food was excellent as cooked by Andy and Nick!

Lovely lunch: food was super tasty and portions were great. Julia served us and was super lovely.

Out server was Stevie and she was incredibly polite and friendly, always smiling and happy to help, a complete joy. The food was great value for money and left me and my partner full, yet wanting more. Service times were perfect as well, cannot speak highly enough of our experience.

Went for my 30th, food was lovely and the staff were really friendly, it wasn't crazy busy but book ahead to avoid disappointment.

Be aware, they're mixing up the menus (or something of the sorts) when we went today 13th March, and because of this our Groupon voucher was invalid, only being valid AFTER 17th March. We was only told this AFTER ordering our meal and desert. No signs anywhere mentioning this nor did our server bring this up, disappointing and felt misleading.

Fantastic service from the lovely Julia as always, who went out of her way to accommodate our meal choices. Well cooked food and very reasonably priced.

Went to harvester 06.03.25 one of our favourite places to eat ordered garlic mushrooms and half a chicken and chips asked for them to arrive together my wife's mushrooms came but we sat for 2 hours and my meal never arrived at all the staff kept saying 5 minutes 10 minutes asked for our money back I am a diabetic had to leave hungry and fuming they was doing 50% of meals and couldn't cope at all we even had to clear our own table as many other people had to absolutely a disaster from start to finish

Sat for 2 hours ordered garlic mushrooms and the chicken and chips my wife got the mushrooms I never received my meal the staff keeper saying 5 minutes 10 minutes but I never got my meal they was doing 50% off meals but couldn't cope at all very disappointed and angry got my money back but went home hungry fuming

Service was amazing, greeted with a lovely smile and was quick service. They were very busy but was still seen to in a quick manner and was so polite and smiley :)

very good service all round . Thank you to the dedicated team .We were served by Julia who simply couldn’t do enough to make us feel welcome, this lady even found some English mustard that they thought they were out of . we felt so welcome we even stayed for extra drinks Julia advised us on a very nice Hardys wine . Thank you once again.

We come here now and again and we usually see Aleta who delivers great customer service. Lovely food and drink, always willing to come back to our favourite Harvester branch.

The light was of in the car park at 7pm the service the waiter was a bit rude. The food taken 45 minutes to arrive. Over all we say a solid 4.5

Salad bar nearly empty of food. I opted for chicken burger. It was so dry. No dressing at all. Perhaps it was just the wrong time of day/week (6pm Monday). Also, carpark has no lighting. Not good on dark nights

Service slow room cold food not upto scratch

Pretty poor service by a member of staff who couldn’t be bothered and lacked some basic training in removing dirty dinner plates before bringing out dessert, even when promoted. Then when I asked she seemed very reluctant and as if I had put her out. Food took quite a while to arrive, but it was nice and very reasonable for a family of 5. Also when walking out of the main and only entrance my kids had to walk through a cloud of smoke from people stood directly outside smoking, surely this should not be the designated smoking area! Sadly the service let us down on this occasion.

Never coming here again the so called manager is so rude waited over an hour for food when I asked he had a bad attitude and rolled his eyes at me salad bar was half empty but the service from the manager was terrible absolutely disgusting place was freezing had to sit in my coat just shocking absolutely shocking chicken was dry and chips was cold just awful avoid this place it needs shutting down avoid avoid avoid!!

Spot on, not been for a while, wasn't disappointed, service good, combine harvester ...ribs fell off the bone... awesome. Not sure what the sweetcorn square things was but were also amazing.... proper slab of fudge cake promptly followed. Go there n get some. 5 star.

Great breakfast with generous portion sizes. Food came out very quick as did our round of drinks. Server Matt was attentive and made sure I was ok getting to the table with crutches as well as making sure we registered our numberplate for parking. One our favourite breakfast stops when you don't wanna cook.

As vegans we are often disappointed when it comes to eating out, wether it be the lack of options or poor quality of the limited menu. This particular harvester could do with having a broader vegan selection however the vegan burger they do provide was brilliant! One of the best pub burgers we've had. I would also like to say how wonderful Julia was with being the hostess with the mostess! Nothing was too much trouble for her and she was very friendly throughout. Thank you 😊

Disappointed last visit As the meat was dry and the salad bar empty.

Friendly staff , steak was chewy . Salad rolls were hard and not fresh . The whole pub was cold . Not a great atmosphere to sit in when your cold , had to wear coat all the time we were eating . Eaten lots of times there so it was disappointing.

Popped in on a bike ride for a quick pint. Friendly and allowed us to bring our bikes in with us as long as we kept them out of the way.

I am a regular visitor to this Harvester. Love it. The staff are so friendly and helpful.

Julia was lovely and the food was very nice by Evalena - unfortunately food was a little slow but overall a very nice experience for a birthday diner.

Natalia was wonderful, so friendly and incredibly helpful with my food allergies. She checked in multiple times to ensure that everything I received was safe for me to eat, and it felt like she genuinely cared about us having a positive experience.

**Wow, just wow.** **Atmosphere and Cleanliness:** For starters, the place desperately needs an update—it's so rundown. The atmosphere was downright dreadful. When we ordered drinks at the bar, my wife’s glass had lipstick around the rim. We informed the barmaid, who proceeded to pour the drink from the dirty glass into another glass without a care! The second drink wasn’t any better; it had fruit flies floating in it. **Salad Bar:** The salad bar was a mess, with old bits of food everywhere. The pasta felt like chewing on Gandhi's flip flop. **Main Course:** The main course took more than an hour and a half to arrive. While I understand this for a party of 10+, the food still came out cold. Overall, a disappointing experience that I wouldn’t wish on anyone. Hopefully, they make some serious improvements soon!

We are frequent visitors. Sadly, we always have to wait to be attended to, on arrival. Almost feel like we're ignored, while the staff carry on talking among themselves (in plain sight of us!). But..all-in-all, good venue

Had the belly pork and the salmon fillet. Delicious. If you get Matt as a waiter then you’ll have a great meal. He really looks after you.

Sat at table quickly. Order taken swiftly. However on both our mains & desserts items were missing from the dishes. Earlier waiter was obviously not happy working there. When he'd gone the young lady who took over was friendly and helpful. Soft drinks dispenser shut down quite some time before closing. It was evident that people staying to almost closing time was not normal and we felt we were no longer wanted at the restaurant.

The salad bar in Harvesters is the main selling point. The salad bar here was well stocked and fresh. The other food was also good though it took quite a while to be served.

Server Julia was very helpful & attentive. The food was good & the atmosphere was nice. Only problems we had were pink spritz without any strawberries & my husband would have liked the salmon, but you didn’t have any.

Appreciate it was Christmas day but had a long wait. Arrived at time we booked had to wait over an hour to be seated. By the time we had been served no one else in the place so obviously no atmosphere. Food was decent enough We were not even offered coffee after the meal .

Lovely place, nice ambience. We got placed in a booth out the way of the rest of the restaurant a bit and the service was a bit slow, I feel like we got a bit forgotten. Food was delicious however and I'd go back. We went for a quick bite and ended up being 2.5hrs, which I don't expect to be the norm.

The whole visit was terrible from beginning to end. We visited for my brothers birthday. We waited an hour for food and when it came my niece's main course (mushroom tart) was burnt but still cold!! All of our food was luke warm/ cold. We felt a rough it had been sat waiting to be brought out for a long time. We were not visited at all during the meal to check if things were ok (we would definitely have complained if they had!) When my niece went to pay, the staff were all talking and she didn't feel like she could interrupt to complain. All in all it was an awful experience which spoiled the celebration.

I wanted to take a moment to commend the exceptional service provided by Matthew during our recent visit to Harvester for Breakfast with Santa. From start to finish, he went above and beyond to make our experience truly special. The event itself was great, Mr and Mrs Claus was lovely – the setup was perfect for the holiday season, and the food was delicious. Matthew's warm and attentive service made it even more enjoyable. He was friendly, professional, and made sure everything ran smoothly. Thank you, Matthew, and the Harvester team for creating such a memorable morning. We can’t wait to return with the children next year.

Food was poor quality and unappetising

Service and quality of food was shambles! Sent back a meal as things was missing won’t be comming back and do not recommend

This is a second visit within 12 months almost a year later. My previous review was disappointing but was my first visit. I was hoping that there would be an improvement but sadly that was not the case.?

Places are made by people and our server was brilliant. She was friendly attentive and all with good humour. The location is perfectly situated and food is what it is - pub food. Place looks well used which is fine but could do with a spruce up sometime soon

Lunch for 5. Good service, nice food. Very poor way of giving menu choices for those needing a gluten free diet, why not just print a menu? Using the online menu wasawful, and the servers tablet not mush better. Needs to improve.

First choice meal not available but food and service fine

Visited for an evening meal after work. Really nice welcoming restaurant. Staff were friendly and helpful. Seating area was clean. Food was really tasty, well cooked and really filling. Our server Kara was very attentive. Large car park and clean toilets. The only slight issue was a 30 minute wait for the mains after being served from the salad bar, but the food was worth the slight wait. Returned recently with group of friends and had a great experience. Service was excellent. Another great visit, had The Dirty One burger which was excellent and very well cooked. Our server Zoe was very attentive and friendly.
