The perfect start to our annual festive get together. Staff were friendly and very attentive. Catered for all our needs. Very festive ambience. The Magnum of Minuty was beautifully presented and we all loved how our waiter ensured we were always topped up! 🥂🍾

Camilo served a large group of us for drinks and snacks. He was extremely attentive and was always there when we needed. Thank you.

Usually just come here for after work drinks but tried for a Monday night meal… Good dinner and nice staff

I’ve visited the White Horse multiple times now and not only found the staff to be attentive and charming, but the food and the buzzy post-work atmosphere to be marvellous too; I definitely recommend visiting. It’s also a great place to go in the week during the day and dog friendly too!

Arrive at the bar at 10:25, mate buys me a beer. The staff come out at 10:30 demanding we pour out drinks into a plastic cup. We do, despite only purchasing it 5 minutes earlier. They then proceeded to lock one of the doors. And when my friend, expressed his disappointment at it, the friend of the bartender asked "have you ever worked in a bar" then said "that you wouldn't understand because you are from Australia". The staff then proceeded to turn off the lights in the outside area, all before the stated time of 11.

Don't serve people a Guinness in glass only to make them pour it into a plastic cup 5mins later because you want to knock off early you absolute donkeys.

We'd organized an informal get-together for family and friends and out of town guests and the team at White Horse were excellent in every regard. From the prompt and professional responses to the questions we had, to the sectioning off of the space for us, and then their service throughout the evening on Friday 22nd - was brilliant. Whether it was drinks, food orders, answering questions, arranging chairs...they were always very helpful and attentive throughout. The evening went well, everyone had a great time, and a large part of that was due to the staff working with us.

We were having an office party with food and drinks and our experience was amazing from start to finish. Olga (from events) was lovely to deal with, always replying quickly and very accommodating with all my requests and amendments. A big shout out also to Camillo and Hayden from the bar. They were incredible and really fast serving and helping us. Thank you for a lovely night, guys!

Stopped by for a few drinks after work. Nice outdoor space, the place was packed but we were served very quickly and friendly considering the queue. Didn't eat on this occasion but the food looked good, will definitely revisit on a later date.

We went on Monday morning, so it has just enough people and was not crowded. The service was good and nice atmosphere. There are not many options for vegetarian. I only had chips. Hence, I am giving them 4 stars.

Decent pub for after work drinks

Reserved a function space, communication was clear, everything was ready before we came and food was also good. Team at the bar was working well together and super friendly.

We reserved ‘The Flowery’ area for our group of 12 people for evening drinks. Online reservation was well responded and very smooth with Olga. Amisha, the lovely waitress, looked after us so well, we didn’t have any stress of getting drinks although the bar was very busy on a Thursday evening.

We were looking for a place to do summer drinks for the department and Olga at White Horse was amazing to help us put it together. All the requests were well answered for and on the day the service and attention we got was outstanding. Very happy with the experience and thanks to the team!!

We had the outside space booked on Saturday for my brother's birthday, unfortunately it rained all afternoon so the staff let us move all the wet balloons and ourselves inside without any issues. Really lovely staff, all on hand to help. And always smiling too. Great service, very attentive. Thank you to all at the White horse on Saturday for a wonderful celebration.

Really hope this place goes under and they do a reset. Been going here for 10 plus years. Thursday night. No sporting event or anything else but Plastic glasses inside and £18+ for one lager and a medium wine. Full of degenerates in joggers and baseball caps. Promptly left after our first round. This once was such a nice venue but now the clientele has gone downhill, the prices have tripled whilst drinking out of plastic cups I can only hope the place closes down and they do a rest. How do they expect this venue to be a location for a good night out

If ya wanna quick drink do not come here !! Packed bar only 3 bar staff!! Been at bar for 15 mins and still no joy!! Really poor !!! 1 star was to generous

I have always liked the White Horse as it is spacious, has a good range of beers and wines and is so close to Liverpool Street Station. Last Thursday was busy and they have started playing music, so it is quite loud. However, if you don't mind the noise, they accept reservations. Also on my last visit, two urinals were blocked and there was a man there trying to use a plunger, but without taking the plastic mat out first; so the plunger had nothing to suck onto. I guess he was there for quite a while.

Went down recently, and my view has changed. They improved everything.

This was our second visit in a few weeks and was worse than the first time. Reasons for poor review . Last visit we were lucky to get a table for a while even though it was booked for later as were most of the other tables and this was late afternoon in mid week. We were lucky as we had booked a restaurant before we would have had to vacate our pub table. Staff were nice as was the choice of beers. Our last visit at 4.30 yesterday Wednesday 18th of January was far worse as all tables were booked and seating changed to accommodate a party. So no place at all to sit , so we left without purchasing anything and found another pub. Hope this is not a regular event and as it is a pub, surely they should keep some tables for other customers!!!

Thanks to the staff at the White Horse. I booked an area for myself and my friends which was very straightforward. It’s a nice pub, perfect for after work drinks.

Nice spot hiding in the back of the train station, good selection of drinks, was a Thursday evening which is extremely busy, possibly nicer when not as rammed, but the service was quick.

Decent place to get a drink after work, especially now that Exchange Square is finished. Can get extremely busy outside but generally not too much trouble getting a drink at the bar.

My friends all had sandwiches. Worst bread used for all three, like stale and dry. I can honestly say for £14.00 for each sandwich, what a total rip off. Nobody finished their meal. Wont be 'going back. And expensive as well

Went with 10 or so colleagues today and every one of us was suprised by the poor quality of the food. The meals taste like they were made early in the day and kept under a hot lamp, including the chips and bread for the sandwiches. I really don't recommend it - plenty of other places to eat.

The Outside area atrracted us to a beer. Little gem just behind Liverpool street station. Not only could we taste amazing beers, we also ate delicious amazing food. We had a great time and for sure we will be back soon :) Thank you white horse.

I was there last weekend with my friends.The atmosphere was nice. The girl at the bar could remember all our drinks, so I found the service really nice and friendly. Definitely nice place to start the night out!

Visited the place for the first time with my friends for some drinks. Absolutely loved the interior of place. We did not book an area but members of staff were very friendly to accommodate us and lady called Olga sorted the space for us. Service was quick and good selection of drinks to satisfy everyone's taste. Will defiantly be back to enjoy some Aperol Spritz in outside area on sunny days.

Really like this pub. Right next to Liverpool Street station so good transport hub for meeting up. Nice food, really spotless and clean. Nice staff. Not far from Eataly and Spitalfields market too.

Walk into the open doors today 21/05/2022 at 12:50 we ard we asked a staff member what time he opens and he said that they where closed and did not open till 1pm. We walked around and got back just before 1pm and witnessed 4 members of staff locked up and left, we have sat in front of the and witnessed a number of groups of people try the door to go into the bar. We do not appreciate being blatantly lied to and we will be telling others and definitely not return. Leaving now at 1: 15pm and it is still locked. Hope owners are not paying their staff for this time.

A bit pricey but it was a good burger, the burger sauce tasted like big mac sauce. Good chips and good service. Bonus points for having the sense not to put tomato in a burger!

Great pub, with a nice selection of wines and beer. Food is very good too. Great location, just behind Liverpool Street, with a nice big plaza next to it with a screen if you want to watch tennis in the summer. They've also redecorated recently and it's looking great!

Nit what it says on the tin. Our food arrived without the vegetable. However they gave us a drink which was nice. The pie was off and gravy in the pie was the consistency of toffee. Gross. The burger was nice the bun had a soggy bottom. I wouldn't eat there again. Shames it's a nice location.

Not great for the price - we ordered Camembert to start but our mains came first with no explanation, when the Camembert finally came it was cold and had been left back to set again and wasn’t melted. The chips that came with the mains were also cold. We didn’t want to pay the discretionary service charge for this reason and the waitress was quite rude to us about this
