The White Hind in Bath and North East Somerset

Made a reservation for 6.15 we arrived at 6.05 and then walked out at 6.35 as the owner was extremely rude and the service was diobolical. We ordered drinks as soon as we arrived and didn’t receive them also we felt externally unwelcome.

Elegimos una comida principal cada uno del menú, que tenía una pequeña variedad de comidas pero todo parecía agradable. El servicio era bueno y las comidas se entregan en un buen momento. Un excelente lugar para comer y beber.

Always fabulous service and creative, heart warming food. Love the atmosphere and all the little touches like the water jugs, candles etc. Dog friendly with a lively bar. Just a great place to come to.

We've been coming here for years - 14 maybe? It's one of our favourite places. Sadly, for the first time ever I decided not to leave a tip. The food was fine, though I'm not a fan of the new pesto, the black pudding Scotch egg was under seasoned and the lemon sole was excellent, even if the broccoli was overcooked. The service however was lousy. Slow, uninterested, almost sullen. It's not as though the place was busy. It seemed to be that the attitude was wrong. Sad.

We expected better food, better service, better ambience. Instead everything was average and we were disappointed.

We visited the White Hart Inn for Sunday lunch. The fixed price lunch menu is great value, and the food was good. The roast potatoes and chocolate brownie were particularly praiseworthy. All of the good work in the kitchen was let down by the waiting staff, who were surly, slow, and inattentive. Not once did the staff visit our table to check whether the food was okay, or to take an additional drinks order. The waiting staff were utterly dismissive when we tried to catch their attention to ask for the bill.Good food, but the overall experience was diminished by poor service.

Visited here with my family (there was 6 of us) for my birthday meal and it could not have been better, food was absolutely incredible. It was of such a high standard and the service was really lovely. Thank you so much to the chefs and the the two ladies serving us, many other tables and a bar full of people still smiling and giving great service

7 of us met in the lovely garden courtyard for lunch. Good friendly service. All opted for set lunch, 2 courses for £15.00. Heritage tomato and feta salad starter generous and delicious. Mains of mackerel or chicken Caesar salad very good. Desserts of lemon posset or chocolate tart superb. Great lunch.

Had a great meal with a colleague - menu a little limited but the wine was great. When the food arrived it was great but it was a little expensive but i suppose that is Bath for you

I love the White Hart and having to write this review because I was asked to do so. I have eaten many many times and the food is always great but I have been on the end of a few very frosty welcomes but have always just ignored it. But having sent some guests here telling them how great the place was, they did not agree or like that I had sent them there. Basically yet again the welcome was rude after a period of being completely ignored and on asking if there were any tables to dine (6pm midweek) they were spoken to with contempt and treated as if idiots for not booking as there were none..they left and ended up in Ring O Bells and had a good night..I know the industry sucks sometimes but the female front of house staff really need to drop the attitude it’s doing you no favours.

We had a light dinner on a Thursday. The place was packed and the service and food were good enough.

Was recommended this place by our hotel whilst staying in Bath. Frankly, they needn't have bothered. Our group turned up for our booked table and I was treated to a couple of minutes of being studiously ignored by a staff member whilst they completed a task - all they needed to say was "I'll be right with you" and that would have been fine. Instead they then went off and returned just before we were going to walk out. Olives were good. For mains, the medium steaks arrived well done but the main problem was the lemon sole, overcooked to mush. Zero ambience, paper napkins, off-hand service. We won't be bothering them again.

We ate here for an early dinner. Reviews and website promised fresh food and the menu had a good range of options. The olives we had to start were delicious, and turned out to be the best part of the meal. We ordered lemon sole and fries, which was £17. It arrived cooked to mush, with a tiny sprinkle of brown shrimp and the ‘caper butter’ was just butter and capers, not combined. Vegetables were not included. When we ordered a salad it was out of a bag. So my complaints are really, that the pub suggests it is offering a high end fresh food dining experience, but they are not up to providing it. A really good fish finger sandwich with nice bread, bagged salad but some home made caper butter for £14 would have been great, and achievable. Staff were pleasant but overworked and we were not greeted or offered condiments or sauces. Again, not the staff’s fault, but they were struggling. Maybe we hit a bad night, but it was my birthday trip to Bath with my family, and it made a poor start. However, it was clean.

Great food, good atmosphere, walking distance from the city centre and to top it off its a Michelin Star restaurant/Inn.

We had Sunday roast at the White Hart. It's often said you can judge how good a chef is by the Sunday roast, well this was good, very good.Good quality ingredients, nicely cooked, and large quantities, all contributed to a very enjoyable meal. Nice starters as well.Friendly staff and well laid out restaurant, with decent spaces between tables.The only minor point we have is that service was a bit slow, especially between the starter and main.

This gastropub is wonderful for lunch or dinner. Never fails to deliver fresh and beautifully prepared food. Lovely garden. Don’t forget to book!

While my daughter is at her dance class, I do a dog walk along the canal and then pop across the road to the White Hart for a coffee. You get a smiley welcome, the interiors are light and contemporary and the garden outside is pretty and well kept with plenty of charm. The coffee is excellent and comes with a mini chocolate brownie, which is unbelievably fudgey and delicious.FOR DOGS: A warm welcome for well-behaved dogs, full water bowls in the garden. Dogs allowed inside the pub all day and for dinner as well. There is a big tin of complimentary dog treats on the counter. When we were there, gravy bones and marrowbones were on offer. Yum.There are plenty of good dog-friendly cafés in the area, but if your dog is happier in a garden setting, I recommend this as the perfect spot. We love gastro pubs so will be back for dinner, labradoodle in tow...

We stopped for a quick drink and decided to stay for lunch. The food was excellent, especially the fish cakes. We had a lovely warm welcome from the women working behind the bar. The decor is simple but cosy. The garden looks fab, just a shame the weather wasn’t good enough for us to venture out and enjoy it. Would recommend!

Had such a good evening here.The welcome from the landlady? and her partner was exceptional, really friendly.Timely, attentive service, excellent food (I had the steak, my partner the hake), all delicious, and a decent bottle of Voignier, all for a very reasonable price.Just slightly off the beaten track, I almost hope it doesn't become too popular ;-)

Booked an early Monday night dinner before a Bath Comedy Festival show at the Widcombe Social Club next door.We'd struggled to book as the phone was never answered - and when we mentioned it on arriving (incase they had a phone issue) we got a very cold sniffy response along the lines of 'we are busy we dont have time to answer the phone'. She then delivered the wrong beer order - and again it was our fault that she has misheard the order.But as I say the food was great - but if one person could have a better customer service then it would have been a completely different experience. It was 6pm on a Monday so cant blame it on being busy - hopefully she was just having an off day.

Had lunch there. The selection and variety offered was good (meat/fish/vegetarian options). Had a delicious rump steak. The waitresses were very helpful and friendly (we said we were in a hurry as we had a train to catch so we got very quick service). The owner/cook also came out for a chat. Good value for money. Will definitely go back.

I was entertaining a distinguished cricketer to lunch, prior to his appearance at the West of England Cricket Society that afternoon. We chose the White Hart, as it is almost opposite the Widcombe Social Club, where the meeting was held. It proved a good choice. The old pub has been stripped down, and now specialises in modern pub food, without quite qualifying for the description of 'gastropub'. The choice of real ales was limited - just boring old Butcombe or over-sweet Doom Bar - but the welcome was warm and service friendly. We both had poached halibut with a mixture of shellfish from the specials board. At £18 or so, it wasn't cheap, but it was nicely presented and beautifully cooked, a light fishy sauce showing off both the halibut and the assoccated mussels and clams to perfection. The pub was busy - not least with our Cricket Society regulars - and you need to allow plenty of time, as meals are cooked to order. It's not cheap, with a rib-eye steak at £20+, but the cooking is good, the ambience comfortable and the welcome friendly. Including drinks and coffees, the bill for the two of us came to just over £50.

This was recommended by the B&B where we were staying, who advised us to book in advance (which we did). A warm friendly welcome, and a very good and reasonably priced menu together with well kept beer. All in all a splendid evening.

Very good food, poor ambience and cold, radiator near table not working. Service was ok but not overly courteous.

While on a short stay in Bath recently we decided to give this place a try. When the barman/waiter eventually found time to talk to us this was using the monosyllable 'no'. Could we please have a table for two? We would not mind waiting for a table for a while and having a drink - is this possible? We had the impression that this is a very cliquey establishment with one member of staff who was very rude and couldn't be bothered to speak to two visitors to his city in a civilised manner. Our experience incidentally was on a Thursday evening in February at 7pm and we had no trouble finding a table later in a city centre restaurant where the waitress could not have been more the opposite of the rude, unhelpful person at the White Hart. Avoid!

As part of my partner's "Significant Birthday" celebrations I organised a surprise Sunday lunch, and invited four very good friends to join us. The welcome was warm, and although the place was packed the service was excellent, with neither long delays or rushed service - important if you want to create a successful eatery. We all had starters and for the mains three of us had the chicken, two had the roast beef & one the pork. Served with fresh veg and the BEST roast potatoes I've tasted in years. Thanks to the chef & staff for a great birthday meal!

Very good roast beef and delicious vegetables to go with it. The ambience is lovely although it does get quite noisy as the restaurant fills up. The service was fine although it could have been a little more attentive. Prices are reasonable.

We have eaten lunch here a few times and been impressed with the food and the service. As someone who eats out in a wide range of restaurants in Bath, I am surprised that this pub, which is an easy walk from Bath town centre, is not rated more highly. There is a nice airy feel to the place , yet its cosy. The management of this place seem to care about their customers and there is a sense of personal responsibility and pride that is lacking in so many 'chain' restaurants.

Truly great food here (particularly the rough pesto!) However, the beer selection is embarrassing. All they currently stock is a few (very average) lagers & few (nice) bitters, but that’s it. Not one IPA or other craft beer! This isn’t being pretentious, just a fan of great beer & from experience, people will travel to craft beer destinations nowadays. Would make a good restaurant great - easily rectified.

Not a lot to say except that our Sunday roast was absolutely excellent! Delicious beef very tender cooked to perfection and all the trimmings with it were great. Good value for money, not cheap but you need to pay a little more for quality! Service was very friendly and we all really enjoyed our lunch. Will be back! Well done guys! And thank you...

The White Hart was recommended to us so we thought we'd give it a go. It doesn't look much from the outside, but once you go in it has a lively, vibrant atmosphere with rustic furniture and, at this time of year, Christmas decorations. The welcome was friendly and the service well paced.We started with a nice bottle of Prosecco, slightly sharper with richer flavours than many Proseccos, this accompanied a range of starters including cheese soufflé which was declared to be very good, pan fried squid with chilli sauce equally good, crispy duck salad with very crispy duck and goat's cheese & beetroot salad which was very tasty.Three of us chose the venison steak with horseradish mash and purple sprouting broccoli for the main. The venison was beautifully cooked, very tender with a lovely hint of the grill. The mash had just the right amount of horseradish and the veg was nicely cooked. Our other dish was the lamb tagine with chick peas, the lamb was tender and flavoursome, the only minor point was slightly too many chick peas.You'd think after all this food puddings might be a step too far. Not for two of the group a creme brûlée and a lemon cheesecake were ordered and consumed with help from the two who didn't order puddings! The lemon cheesecake was very nice.Overall, a lovely evening, a lively atmosphere and a likely return should we be back in Bath.

We had the lamb tagine which was cooked to perfection, followed by the run and raison pannetone, the staff were very attentive and friendly, thoroughly enjoyed the evening. The prices are a little high, but you get what you pay for. Would definitely recommend it and would go back.

The menu here is very limited and very overpriced. We had a couple pints and then ordered dinner. The prices here are higher than very nice restaurants in Bath, and this was just a basic corner pub. The food was plain and nothing to recommend. Was told by the locals we were staying with that they had heard that the place had changed a lot. Not very often I don't recommend a place at all, but with all the wonderful choices in Bath - don't waste your money here

Our first visit and we weren’t disappointed. Good atmosphere and friendly efficient staff. Started with the humous for one between two of us - generous portions, followed by pork loin which was incredibly moist and tender and beautifully seasoned. Couldn’t fit in a pudding!Would highly recommend!

What can I say other than excellent. We both had monkfish and chorizo skewers that were perfectly cooked and tasty. Then we both had the sea bream. It too was perfectly cooked and full of flavour, as were the potatoes and spinach. Cheese board to follow nicely balanced with all cheese served at a reasonable temperature rather than chilled tasteless as too many places serve it. Fruity Picpoul accompanied. Fast, pleasant service. Been coming here for at least a dozen years now and never had a bad meal or service. Highly recommend.

Stopped here for a couple of drinks. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. We weren’t eating but the menu and food looked nice so we will try this next time we are in Bath. Espresso martinis were delicious.

Popped to Bath yesterday and stopped off at the White Hart for Lunch and what a treat it was, the food was amazing well presented and so tasty, the service top class all very friendly, we will definitely go back to sample the food again,

I had a lovely meal here with my Mum and Dad after shopping in Bath and a walk back down the river to Widcombe. Good food and good service. We were next to two loud tables and kindly moved to a quieter part of the restaurant. Much loved by the locals in Widcombe.

Selección de la comida era buena, y la calidad excelente.Los alrededores son muy cómodas, y el lugar tiene un ambiente estupendo.Otros miembros del personal con el que tratamos, estamos muy atentos, y un contraste con la atención que había recibido anteriormente.Agradable ver 2 cervezas, aunque no es mi favorito Butcombe, sin embargo eran demasiado fríos para sirve mi gusto.Noche muy agradable, si alguien necesita para conseguir la actitud de algunas de las mujeres se ordenan.Sin duda lo recomendaría.

Lovely little pub in a gorgeous town. Food and staff were great - try the cauliflower fritters. Did find it a little odd that they allowed dogs in the bar though....

Habíamos estado viajando durante 24 horas, y fue más allá de cansado. Una mujer en el tren desde Gatwick recomendado El White Hart para cenar, pero advirtió a hacer una reserva porque es difícil conseguir una mesa (que es una buena señal). El comedor y la zona de bar son acogedoras. El personal es muy amable y profesional. Las comidas eran deliciosos y bien de precio. El comedor hecho llenó y había un ambiente muy cordial entre los comensales. Perfecto para el hambre, los cansados viajeros.

Agradablemente ocupado el lunes por la noche. Gran servicio, muy eficiente para nosotros y alrededor nuestro. Especial fue delicioso pato pechuga asada con kale, squash y remolachas acompañada por un muy buen shiraz. También pollo con risotto de hongos, que estaba a la derecha. No podía gestionar o queso budín de buena pinta pero tanto cuando llegaron para otras tablas. El pequeñísimo inconveniente algunos ruidosos tipo cerca cómo su pareja era horrible otra señora. Tremendamente entretenido,. . . . .

Mi esposa y yo tuvimos una cena en este agradable pueblo Family Inn y nos encantó.Nos recibieron gratamente, rápidamente nos sentamos y sirven las bebidas y el agua.A ambos nos gustó la sopa de tomate y el especial con risoto pechuga de pollo y champiñones. Todo estaba perfecto.Estoy dispuesto a recomendar el White Hart Inn! Disfrutar.

Yet again when we fancy lunch in Bath there's really only one choice, here! We booked and good job too the pub was full with a lot of walk ins. Lovely warming carrot and coriander soup which we both had and also we picked the same main a herb crumbed chicken leg which was super soft and full of flavour, it came with a bubble and squeak which obviously was a way of using left over veg from the weekend but still really tasty and you can't complain given the price tag of £15 for two courses. But the small negative was the frosty welcome from the middle aged woman behind the bar who we have never met, every other member of staff has always been spot on, given the look she gave us and the look she gave the clock, maybe next time rather than making guests feel that they are late you should turn the big clock back, it's 10 minutes fast( classic tactic in the industry but don't make feel guests feel uncomfortable!)

Good environment, good food. I wouldn't take a visitor to Bath to showcase the food, but nice to hang out for a girly lunch.

Had lunch at the White Hart Inn which has a good al la carte menu and a limited Specials menu. I went for the latter and it was very good, served by a very pleasant waitress. Wine list also good and also sold by the glass. Reasonably priced and would definitely go again. A lovely garden at the back where I think we could have eaten but stayed inside just in case it rained. Not far from the rear of Bath Spa Railway Station where there is a bridge which takes you over the river. Turn left, walk along pavement and your will see the pub across the other side of the road. Use the controlled crossings though.

Recently popped into the White Hart as locals had recommended. Was originally going in just for a drink but ended up staying for dinner. Meal was absolutely delicious! Staff were polite & friendly without intruding. Made to feel very welcome!

It's a 'nice pub' that has gone through the obligatory gastro overhaul. It's light and comfortable and food is consistently good...

The garden at this pub is not visible at all from the street but its well worth a visit at this time of the year to enjoy the atmosphere of dining in such pleasant surroundings, it's a completley walled garden so you don't sit with any traffic noise. It's just the right size so soon gets busy at lunch times and has a very good reputation for food - Michellen rated for several years; I cannot fault the food for what it is very good pub grub! As you will have gussed I love the garden! Inside the bar and large seating areas provide more dining options. It's location is very close to Bath canal which has a well maintained footpath which is hugely popular with walkers and boats are often going through the lock systems so this area is well worth a visit its only fifteen minutes walk from the centre of Bath. Great for all ages and you can easily spend a couple of hours.

I have been a local to Bath now for about 30 years. You see many restaurants come amd go. This restuarant however stands the test of time. You couldn't ask for a better chief than the one has, he knows exactly how to turn food into something so tasty you just want to return.

We've been coming here for ten years, but had never eaten in the garden before. Ate twice there recently, May and July. Lovely weather on both occasions, and our guests thought it was charming. Usually a good selection of proper gastro-pub food ( e.g. beautifully cooked hake on mash with samphire). If busy, the service can be a bit slow, but the staff are cheerful, friendly and helpful. Also does excellent Sunday lunches. Always safer to book.

Mientras que en la zona un Jueves y había visitado otro establecimiento a lo largo de la calle llamé aquí para una bebida, no haber sido por un tiempo. Sólo Butcombe decepcionado y rara raza (también a la venta un Butcombe) como anteriormente había habido una mejor opción.

Pasamos cuatro días este pasado Junio alojarse en la zona widcombe, y disfrutamos de una comida de la tarde en el White Hart, siguiendo las recomendaciones de nuestro anfitrión airbnb. La comida era estupenda, pero lo que más nos gustó fue el ambiente del jardín trasero. Estaba muy caliente durante nuestro tiempo en el baño, y este jardín era fresco y alegre y a la sombra. Eso, junto con la buena comida y bebida, fue un final perfecto para nuestro ajetreado día en el baño.

Sunny Visita el viernes por la noche. Encantador jardín amurallado en la parte trasera, lleno de arbustos y flores, sofás y mesas y sombrillas. Música en vivo, lo cual contribuyó al ambiente. Cena dentro en una zona bastante sencillo, el único inconveniente era la acústica, muy ruidoso. Un menú que no era el típico pub, interesante, pero un poco peculiar. El bife de costilla era excelente, así como la lubina. Las entradas compartidas de hummus y pesto chapuzón estaba delicioso. El vino era bueno pero caro contra otros vinos pub. El servicio era bueno y el personal amable. Un buen viernes o sábado encontrarse lugar para amigos.

El Inn está a 15 minutos a pie de todo en la parte vieja de la ciudad de Bath. El aparcamiento es un problema sólo si te quedas 2 noches nd. Las calles alrededor del hotel son gratis después de las horas de trabajo, pero limitado a 2 horas durante. El hotel no dispone de parking.

Yo fui hace como 8 años y era un poco caro y mesas extraoficial de blanco y estirado.

Nos acomodaron en el bar que es el lugar donde 'dog-mesas', pero de hecho en términos de ambiente, hay poca diferencia entre estos y aquellos en el restaurante. Ambas áreas eran luminosos, modernos y cómodos.

Stopped in for dessert and was pleasantly surprised by the gorgeous garden. Staff were very accommodating with providing gluten free alternatives and offering tastings of cider before purchase etc. Highly enjoyable dessert and a beautiful setting

A beautiful, delicious, fresh plate of food awaits you in a delightful garden at The White Hart Inn just across the Avon from the Bath Spa railway station. The service is friendly, the drinks plentiful and the menu seasonal. Highly recommend!

Este lugar siempre es una gran opción para el almuerzo para nosotros, el servicio es siempre amable y la comida lo tiene todo y a un precio muy razonable. Si el tiempo lo permite, el jardín es preciosa, pero me hubiera gustado que era de no fumadores pero no se puede tener todo.

Pintoresco pub local. . Comimos aquí en el almuerzo el primer día en la bañera ya que era demasiado temprano para nuestro registro. El servicio era estupendo ambiente era precioso y la comida. . . . ¡Guau! ! ! Había una pequeña selección, pero valió la pena y fue entregado rápidamente y eficientemente.

Comí aquí el sábado como parte de un grupo grande de 25+. El ambiente era agradable y la comida llegó rápidamente como habíamos pedido. El personal era eficiente y paciente.

Un grupo de amigos y yo fuimos a El White Hart Inn mientras visitaba el baño, y en general, es un buen Carvery Roast" lejos de las multitudes turísticas.

Primer fin de sol del año en el baño. Todo estaba lleno. Caminamos a lo largo del río y bajo esta joya topamos por casualidad.

Nos dieron una habitación para 4 noches. La cama era cómoda, la habitación espaciosa para los estándares europeos, y el ambiente relajante. Cuando nos fuimos a la cama esrly, el pub estaba todavía abierto, pero el nivel de ruido era bajo y no presentar un problema. Este hotel está cerca de la estación de tren y a un precio muy razonable. También tuvimos una cena maravillosa aquí.

He estado aquí dos fines de semana consecutivos y no nos decepcionó en ambas ocasiones. Aquí tomamos un almuerzo el sábado 15 con otros antes de la rugby, toda la comida era excelente y todo vino rápido. Luego otra vez para el almuerzo del domingo, la carne asada era como el maridaje y el asado spuds más fabuloso. Realmente muy buena.

Los días que termine de trabajar un viernes siempre es un viaje hacia el este gran lugar. El personal es siempre muy amable y el ambiente es precioso. Apropiado para traer niños y perros en lo que lo hace más agradable. Normalmente es solo picar que compro yo. e. Patatas fritas o aceitunas, pero después de comprar una comida principal, guau. Fue genial. Hasta la próxima vez!

The burger I ordered came quickly and tasted very good! I also highly recommend the brownie. The service was good and the pub had a nice atmosphere.

La comida aquí es excelente. Ingredientes frescos y de temporada son utilizadas de forma imaginativa las formas y se puede decir que mucho pensamiento cae en el menú - que cambia cada pocas semanas manteniendo los favoritos firmes para quienes pudieran reclamar si ellos han desaparecido! .

Visitamos el pub para una bebida dos veces en una noche de viernes - antes y después de un partido de rugby de baño. A menudo nos Widcombe aparcar nuestro coche en colina y caminar a la baja, y este parecía un buen lugar para tomarse algo de beber en el camino. El chico detrás de la barra en nuestra primera visita no podía haber sido más amable y educado, y charlamos sobre las próximas match, que él también participaba. Ella intentó ignorar su al principio, pero luego cuando se lo presiona, ella gruñó y agitó una mano en una vaga dirección, obviamente no podía ser molestado. En nuestra segunda visita la misma hembra (pelo en una plait, anillo en la nariz) estaba detrás de la barra. Forma era brusco y poco acogedor, me sentí como una molestia. Quería pagar con tarjeta. En mi experiencia la mayoría de los lugares ofrecen la opción de compra y una opción de recibo. Ella ni se molestó en preguntar si quería hacer o no, ella contactless simplemente empuje el auricular. No me pidieron también la cantidad, y no me ofrecieron un recibo. Así que cuando vi 36 libras. 80 en la pantalla (hasta una copa de vino y un agua mineral) me alarmaron, pero ella ya dio la espalda y se fue. Preocupado, hablé a otro miembro del personal femenino, que también era bastante hostil. Cuando pedí un recibo dijo que no podría tener una como ella ya había entrado en otro trámite. Tuve que insistir en ver el recibo para comprobar hasta la cantidad que habían cobrado. Ella parecía una afrenta por la pregunta que hice; me hicieron sentir incómodo para impugnar el procedimiento, aunque tenía preocupaciones legítimas que expliqué. No todos impresionados con estas dos personas. Se piensa dos veces de ir allí de nuevo.

Fuimos a un cumpleaños amigos, pedimos bistec de tamaño mediano a bien, se servía poco común. Odio el envío de comida volver a ser re-cocinado/cambiado, al precio que están pagando aquí filetes cabe esperar para ser cocinados como ordenados. Conseguir los chefs para cocinar correctamente. Mis amigos de venado servían dieciseisavos.

Tenía una noche realmente encantadora celebrando un cumpleaños familiar. El personal era amable y familiar. La comida era buena (en el extremo superior de la escala de precios) pero el tamaño de las porciones. Tiene literalmente, la mejor pesto jamás! El marido dice unas cuantas más opciones sería bueno aunque ale. . . . .

Yo y dos amigos visitamos el White Hart justo antes de Navidad y quedamos muy impresionados. El pesto y panes deliciosos entrantes, como las 3 principales. El servicio fue a la par con la comida. Es genial poder cenar en un ambiente relajado y disfrutar de los beneficios de un bien considerado Carvery Roast".

Cuatro adultos y dos niños pequeños disfrutaron del almuerzo aquí después de un paseo por el canal.

Cuando visitar Bath siempre nos quedamos en el White Hart, pero tengo que admitir que esta es la primera vez que he comido allí. Estoy de sentir un poco absurdo porque la comida fue absolutamente deliciosa. Había tres de nosotros celebrando un cumpleaños, y el personal era genial, la cerveza buena, y todas nuestras comidas es simplemente maravilloso. Me alojaré en el White Hart de nuevo en el futuro y sin duda comer allí de nuevo!

Food was lovely and very well presented, service was a little frosty and in some cases patronising. It's a great shame the service did not reflect the quality of the food.

Visitamos un pequeño reunirse con amigos, tener una mesa reservada para 4, el personal estaba bien con lo que resultó completamente los planes cambiaron (llegadas tarde y solo me comer en el final). La comida era absolutamente deliciosa, muy bien cocinada y presentada, y en abundancia. Entrante mozzarella era fabuloso. El servicio fue rápido y eficiente, lo suficientemente amable. Great 3 course meal had by all for our office xmas meal, I had the mozzarella starter very tasty and beef for main it was lovely and soft, top roast potatoes too and cheesecake to complete a great evening, thank you. Hope to visit again.

Volver a una antigua favorita con amigos, tuvimos un almuerzo muy agradable. Mi calamar era entrante, perfectamente cocinado carne seca y agradable dentro de un recubrimiento firme breadcrumb crujiente. Principal era un conjunto único de nuevo con mantequilla, caper muy bien cocinado. Mis socios de chuletón fui extremadamente bien y nuestros amigos pensaban que su pintada (y otro sole) dieron en el clavo. Todos regados con una muy agradable Alabarino. Servicio amable, pero no entrometido en un entorno relajado y cómodo, sumado a un almuerzo super.

La última vez que me escribió un comentario que había sido muy decepcionado con nuestra visita, comida y atención personal. Nos dimos cuenta de que el White Hart posteriormente había sido quitada de la respetada guía 2017 Buena Comida.

Fuimos con unos amigos para cenar, la comida era muy buena, me encanta el pesto peligroso entrante y pan y había una buena variedad de ofertas especiales en el menú. Así que la comida y poco buen servicio hacía frío en el restaurante, con una noche de frío hubiera sido agradable para encender la calefacción! También era tan oscura que tuvimos que utilizar el iphone para leer las antorchas menú. . Quizás simplemente ma. haciendo viejo! Aparte de eso todo bien

Así que nos fuimos a cenar con amigos en un domingo recomendación por un compañero.

En este día y edad que cabe esperar todos los lugares para atender a los niños y no solo dar menos comida por el mismo precio que una comida de adulto. La comida tardó 50 minutos en llegar, sin disculpas ni actualizaciones a menos que pedimos para ellos. El personal era grosero y podría tratar con algún tipo de formación en servicio al cliente como aprender cómo sonreír. La comida en sí estaba deliciosa pero no volveríamos a este lugar.

Fuimos allí para un asado el domingo. La carne era deliciosa y las patatas estaban muy sabrosa, pero las otras verduras eran básicas y demasiado salada. También, a pesar de pedir dos cenas de asado que tenía sólo una porción de patatas (el mismo tamaño de una persona que sólo una cena asado de pedidos), así que fue decepcionante. El personal es educado, pero no especialmente simpático.

Estaba en el baño poca el horizonte y aunque un ligero desvío para llegar a medio camino este maravilloso pub no dossappoint. Reservamos una mesa para 10 para un almuerzo para reponer no desean nada grande que tenía de tapas. Entrantes y unos principales comidas que compartimos. El restaurante fue muy comprensivo y complaciente poniendo toda la comida juntos. No solamente buen aspecto pero los sabores eran geniales y el impacto completo. Variedad de cervezas muy bonito un lugar recuperarse para cualquiera un paseo o en el horizonte. Sólo puedo comentar cosas sería una preferencia personal. Excelente servicio y comida.

En este pequeño y pintoresco encontré pub, que estaba zumbando. El ambiente era excelente y la comida era probablemente el mejor que he probado en un pub. El servicio era excelente y el personal th eran muy atentos. Estaba ocupado toda la noche, que es un incidente o bien de su popularidad. Además, era un lunes!

Hemos estado en el White Hart varias veces, a menudo con amigos, pero a veces en nuestro propio, y nunca falla a dio en el clavo.

Hemos vivido a menos de 2 millas de este pub durante 14 años, pero nunca habíamos ido antes: la comida era excelente - muy comida de primera clase a un precio razonable. El ambiente era muy bueno, agradable y no demasiado alto. Estamos decididos a ir aquí.

Cuando llegamos nos dijeron que había una fiesta de cumpleaños 21 de esa noche y el bar y el jardín no estaban disponibles para nosotros. No habría ninguna comida. Están en medio de una reforma que no tenía arriba a nuestra habitación. Las camas gemelas estaban cansados y cuando les juntas había suciedad debajo, igualmente la mesa de café en la zona de chimenea. Puerta del baño al lado del mismo mal estado (pero este era economía y había una nota). Ruido continuó hasta las 2 o las 3 de la madrugada con gente hablando fuera de la habitación. El desayuno era y estaba en una cocina sombría, la nevera estaba sucio, la comida en el suelo, rebosante de bin, cubiertos difícil de encontrar. Lo que hizo este tan malo fue que la gente no parecía importarle. Lo que nos ha contactado sobre el partido antes de que habían dado la opción de reservar en otro sitio. También habíamos planeado comer allí por la noche.

Visitamos el White Hart para el almuerzo, a finales de agosto. Habíamos reservado con antelación y la mesa estaba preparada para nosotros de inmediato. Desde el exterior parece un edificio bastante antiguo pero el interior es mucho más moderno en estilo funcional, limpio, pero bastante soso. El servicio era amable y eficiente. Ofrecían una comida de dos platos por £12.50 el día que estuvimos allí, que era muy buena relación calidad-precio. No estoy cierto si ofrecen opciones más ligeras como sándwiches o comer patatas chaqueta, etc, podrían pero no ver estos en el menú en cualquier lugar.

I booked this pub / restaurant 3 weeks in advance as a surprise for my wife, we were visiting BATH ( Paradise house ) for her 65th, on arrival we were shown to a table for two, which we refused to sit at because it was a horrible corner seat, the restaurant was completely empty so we choose another table.

pre birthday lunch 5 of us .lovely atmosphere, great service,and top class food . my sons arrived by train, the white hart is 5 minutes from the station over the penny bridge well worth a visit eva stock.
