Met up for lunch with friend, had great catch up at white heart, hadn't been for a while. Very friendly staff, prompt attention, clean, tidy, was quiet, which with meals served like these was a shame, but suited me loved it. Meals were amazing, haven't been for sometime as dont often go town, I had Gammon, chips, egg, pineapple, peas, side onion rings, my friend had Mac & cheese, piri piri added, garlic bread, side salad both meals were cooked perfect,

Food was so nice. Staff were lovely, nothing was too much. Lovely place, such a relaxing atmosphere. Definitely a must visit place.

Went out with mates for a nice chilled drink it was amazing sat out side as it was nice day the music was on out side staff kept coming out to see if everything was ok very clean garden kids loved it aswel x

Absoloutly fantastic pub!, Warm welcomes everytime, locals are very polite and friendly. The food is easy 5*. Perfect pub for friends, family and just to have a relaxed pint. 5* all around! GREAT STAFF!

I parked up at the pub and as I was early to meet my friend I thought I would nip to the shop however straight after getting out of my car the owner very aggressively told me he would slash my tires if I did not come into the pub, I then said I was meeting a friend for some food but was early and explained I was just running to the corner shop. He then again told me if I don’t come back he will slash them. Once he went back in side I called my friend and said let’s go somewhere else as I feel very threatened as a young woman and did not want to go inside. I sped walked to my car and left. Will never go there again.

I am a support worker for a local service who care for adults with learning disabilities and quite often visit the White Hart for lunch or dinner with colleagues and residents. We are always made very welcome. The staff are friendly and the food is always good with minimum waiting time. The pub is clean and tidy and I would certainly recommend it.

I'm always greeted so friendly. Very family orientated pub. Lovely to chat too whilst at the bar. Both very attentive staff. I am a regular here and my daughters always are treated so well with lots of activities. Kitchen is always open now!

Foods on point beers good not bad at all

Ordered the cowboy burger and the Mac and cheese. The food was excellent and was served quickly and the staff were very friendly

They stand and allow people to egg people on in an argument its disgusting even the person this woman was shouting at was with her daughter and grand-daughter but not one of them did anything disgusting

Ann and Stu are friendly & welcoming, food and drink are great value for money with some good deals during the week. Free parking if you’re using the pub, open till 11 in the week and 12 Friday and Saturday. Family friendly & dog friendly.

Came for a drink, decided to have a steak, as it was steak and drink Thursday. The food was absolutely amazing, compliments to the chef Chris. Very friendly atmosphere. Will absolutely go again

This places food is apsolute tasteless, mac n cheese looked like dog water and wasnt even half full and the garlic bread was hard enough to build a house out of… apsolute tragedy on a plate straight out the microwave

We have been here a few times and I must say that the staff are lovely they interact well with all the customers .. food was lovely even my 2 picky eaters enjoyed their meals … they enjoyed the park and making friends with the other children there and they made the most of the karaoke too .. our over all experience has been wonderful…. Went for drinks and was peckish so thought I'd try the fish and chips, didn't realise I ordered a whale the fish was so big and tasty and definitely value for money, will be back for food again

This is such a smashing little pub.. Clean, friendly staff, food at very reasonable prices, a must really.. And they have just started the Sunday lunches after Covid.. The drinks are also very reasonably priced to, we pop in quite often for a lunchtime drink.....

The White Hart Inn is a gem of a pub. Much bigger inside than it appears at first sight. Lovely outside space. There is a selection of well kept beers and the food is plentiful, of good quality and competitively priced.

Good beer. Good food. Reasonable prices. Good service. What more can I say??

You're in Cannock, you fancy a drink, why not visit the Hart, wide selection of alcohol and soft drinks, for the dd, families welcome with outdoor playarea (note current restrictions), food served by the charming and helpful staff until 8pm.

I've been to the White Hart a handful of times now and each time I've had an amazing time. Its a really lovely pub with a lot of indoor and outdoor space and I can't fault the staff and their level of attention to detail. I'll definitely be coming back!!!

Great night out really friendly and local vibe

My first visit to this pub. We were in a group that had previously booked two tables of six. However, because we had one extra, we were happy to be split into three tables. However, the manager refused us entry and we had to sit outside and it was cold. Some of our group had traveled from far away, so it wasn't possible to find somewhere else. The pub was empty, so was easy to socially distance our table. The remained empty from when we arrived at 7pm to when we left at 10pm. Kitchen was also closed so no food either. I would not return here. If I could award zero stars, I would. The only redeeming thing about the whole night was that the young lad who served us did a great job. Edit: I dispute the reply. We have been to pubs as a group and sat inside. You allowed two tables of six initially so why not three tables distanced? We would not have 'mingled' indoors as we know the rules and so does our group organiser.

Not very good customer service. Could have easily accommodated us indoors as they were empty but made us sit outside in the cold at 7pm in the evening. And closed the kitchen when we would have liked food.

It's sad to say but this place used to be the heart of cannock, not much of an atmosphere anymore at all But with that said staff were fine and beers was good

Excellent service by friendly staff

Visited on Friday whilst the sun was out to make the most of it. Have been to other places in the area since they opened up again but I haven’t felt comfortable in any of them and neither has my wife. It was nice to see such friendly staff and so much concern to follow the rules to protect other customers. During our visit, the manager was almost attacked for refusing entry to some clearly drunk people and it was dealt with swiftly and firmly. After this he made the effort to go to every table and apologise for the trouble. Never seen that in cannock before. It’s been years since we last came to the white hart but obviously things have changed a lot and we will be returning soon. The staff are all amazing and the garden is great when the suns out. My best wishes to all the staff because they are doing such a great job and I don’t think other people appreciate the efforts they go to. Everyone deserves a pay rise and a congratulations for the work they do!

This is a super watering hole, staff always efficient and helpful, lovely clean premises, VERY good prices and an excellent pint.. would highly recommend the White Hart.

Visited this pub for my mum’s birthday on Saturday. We had some incredible food with excellent service. Kudos to the chef! The young man who served us was friendly and polite, his supervisor was giving him small prompts to help him along with his service and she later explained that as he is autistic and has not done food service before he just needs a little patience and prompting. She always spoke to him like an adult without being patronising whilst helping which was also lovely to see. It is so heartwarming to see in our town that the White Hart owners have such inclusivity in hiring and they have measures in place to ensure customer AND staff safety and comfort are paramount. Despite us being brand new customers we were treated as though we had been coming here all of our lives and felt like we were a part of their little corner of town immediately. I could not recommend this pub higher if I tried, it is the cleanest, most cared for pub we have been to. You can tell that a lot of hard-work has gone into the standards and also the staff looking happy to be at work proves that this place is filled with understanding and love. the owners were courteous and well done to the young man who served us today. You will never feel like you don’t belong at the White Hart! We will definitely be back again! Thank you again guys :)

Had a really wonderful experience at this pub today. The supervisor with long hair was friendly, polite and super attentive to our needs. My child is heavily autistic and she was extremely patient with him and spoke to him like an adult instead of babying him which made my family feel so safe and welcome. He is obsessed with her bright pink shoes and because of her we will be returning! She ensured that the entire pub was spotless and that all current government guidelines were followed by all customers in a polite manner and even witnessing her interacting with other customers proved that she is a very capable and kind young lady. I am unsure of her name but please pass on that she made our experience so incredible today!

Can’t find better staff anywhere! So friendly and attentive which makes every visit a pleasure. It’s clear all staff enjoy their job and work well together and get along as it shows in their work. Tables are always spotless as staff get to cleaning and sanitising straight away. Great place to go for food as it never disappoints. Easy accessibility for those with disabilities, even with the one way system due to the pandemic. Great food, great staff and great atmosphere highly recommend

Went for my first pub meal today since lockdown, really enjoyed it. Good food and felt very safe and welcoming. Staff were constantly cleaning and checking people were wearing masks. Thank you both at the White Hart😀

Really good food, reasonably priced.

Visited today for some lunch with my mum and Grandma. We love to visit when we can and today was the first time since lockdown. Safety measures and any changes in how they were operating were fully communicated to us and nothing was too much trouble for the lady who served us. The food was incredible, with amazing offers on at the moment. This visit really made our day.

No atmosphere, not really welcoming at all

First time visit since pubs open would highly recommend, I think they have had a new chef the steak was divine and my partner had the fish and chips the batter was light and fluffy and decent portions. The drinks are cheap would be back...
