Heddin's Ford in Cannock Chase

Planned a minibus trip and this was our third stop. Very welcoming, wonderful atmosphere and very high quality beer on offer.

It was fabulous. It waa warm dry and the lights were on. A happy friendly place where singing is allowed and the bar staff have a smile!

We always enjoy the Heddin's Ford pub, a cozy micro pub nestled in the heart of Hednesford. Embracing community spirit, it offers excellent local ales and a welcoming atmosphere with friendly faces ready for a chat!

Hubby and i stopped off for a couple of drinks before we went on to have a curry. Nice friendly atmosphere...nice pint of Cider

Great pub witha really friendly atmosphere. The prices are good and they have some great guest ales and cider. The beer always tastes good and pipes are obviously kept clean. It's a small pub so it's understandable that they don't have loads of different beers on tap. I would highly recommend.

Great place to go friendly people, great atmosphere

Used to be a lovely welcoming place when the 3 young people worked there. Always clean, tidy & organised it’s very quickly gone down hill. The owner was lovely till a rather loud strange lady got involved then suddenly became very clear that the premises had a very different feeling. I shan’t be going back

whilst being recomended to me , thought i would give it a try. stated open at 1pm ? , was closed , then a couple - presumed landlords came at 1.15 to open up , giving them 10 min to get organised , walked in. a pleasant decor to a medium sized room now bearing in mind itsa micro pub , advertising ciders .....they had only 1 + thatchers on the pull ?. it was a mulled cider , believed from other establishments to be served warm.......this served straight from the fridge ?. talking of fridges the room was like one COLD. now dissapointed with lack of choice + price , drank up , not particually enjoying it left and went to spoons , warmer and cheaper

Whist came here on recommendation , was dissapointed. Advertised as real ale + cider......there was only 1 cider + thatchers on pull ?. 2 drinks , 2 packs crisps £10 ....not the cheapest of places. Presentation was pleasant .....but IT WAS LIKE A FRIDGE IN THERE. No enjoyment with only one other customer. "Spoonns" 100yrds away , went there cheaper Cheaper and warmer

A warm friendly place with a good selection of ever changing beers. Staff are welcoming. Customers are a friendly bunch, will always make you welcome. Go on give it a try.

What a find! Specialist ciders and beers from a micro pub in the heart of Hednesford. And ... A meal deal! A cob.. A packet of crisps And a pint!!!! Fiver! My kind of place ... and Mable the Jack Russell is very very welcome.

Wonderful beer and a lively atmosphere made a brief pop in much grander. The Backyard Blonde and Gold were wonderful, good head and tasted lovely. £5 for a pint, cob and a packet of crisps, absolute bargain!

Love this pub. It has a nice friendly atmosphere where kids are welcome. It is dog friendly with maybe a dog treat or two, Why not Wednesdays offer a cheaper tipple so worth a visit.

disgusting toilets broken seat no toilet paper passage to toilets full of dirt and debris whole place could do with a good clean what a pity a place with great beer is going downhill fast desperately needs some TLC and someone who cares about the place

Really like this place. Such a friendly atmosphere, everyone is always welcoming. It is a small place with a handful of seats (including some comfy sofas), but serves a great choice of ales and ciders including my favourite local brewery’s offerings. Plus it’s dog friendly, so four-legged friends are always welcome!

Nice micropub in the centre of Hednesford - certainly a better bet than the nearby Wetherspoons! Always a choice of well-kept ales from the local (well, Brownhills - it's not far away) Backyard Brewery + a couple of guests, plus a good choice for anyone that's not a real ale enthusiast. The decor is simple but comfortable, and the atmosphere is always friendly and relaxed. If there happen to be sausage rolls or scotch eggs available when you visite, then be sure to try one - they're delicious, and a bargain too.

Excellent find, we went yesterday and had some great beer and wine. On a Sunday there is a complementary cheese board and it was very nice. Well worth a visit, a must when in Hednesford.
