This is the first time I have been here and will be the last, ordered tuna mayonnaise in jacket potato, absolutely awful, the potato was bad which was visible and it was rock hard,I sent it back and they brought me another one out which was the same, the tuna mayo was dry hardly any mayo at all, cost £9.50 absolute waste of money, maybe the young staff and the chefs need some training on quality control before it is sent out to customers. Very disappointed 😞

Went for a meal to the Friday supper club. First visit and the food and service did not disappoint. Large portions so we couldn't manage 3 courses. We had the sirloin for mains and the whole plate of food was exceptional. Serving staff were friendly and polite. Well worth the money.

Huge range of chilled drinks. Tasty bakes. Very pleasant, obliging young man serving, good at his job. I didn't dine in, I just grabbed some bakes to take home. Homemade flapjack at £2.75 - a good, tasty chunk. Homemade florentine at £3.25 and a homemade choc chip shortbread at £2.75. Good prices for the size of them.

Never had a good meal here yet, my wife enjoys it but I must be choosing the wrong things! This was supposed to be homemade Yorkshire pudding with beef stew and root vegetables. £13 and it's a tasteless frozen pudding with overcooked stew and no veg in sight. It's not even an aunt Bessie's pudding! Definitely won't be going back.

Overpriced as he'll, food was below average, customer service needed to improve as they're was not care at all. My family ordered 2 cooked breakfasts, and eggs benedict, the eggs on cooked breakfast was under cooked, toast was so hard more like cardboard and the eggs benedict was sooo disappointing more liked boiled eggs instead of poached. But what shocked me the most was the mark up on beans on toast, they charge nearly £6 for beans on toast........ won't be coming back again

Paid £9.50 for beef and onion sandwich with gravy. Beef was good but the bread was like a cheap Asda’s own brand bap. The accompanying onion rings were rock hard with a slither of onion - could be they’d fallen down the back of the oven 14 years ago and only recently salvaged to complete this order. Chips ok but lot of chips scraps at bottom of the bowl. Nice enough place but had much better here in the past.

White Bull Farm is a mediocre zoo with two terrible restaurants attached to it. This is a business, where a few animals are on display, not a farm at all. After COVID the restaurants lost anything good they had on the menu. No more steak, no more grill, just some processed and frozen dishes like the ever tasteless burgers, prepackaged sandwiches and a few other even less appealing options you can find in any pub without a cook. The road to the "FARM" is very narrow, 1.5 lanes and accident prone due to overgrown hedges. Overall, the establishment is the equivalent of a £2 microwave frozen dinner with a flashy plastic wrap.

The old lady in till very rude. And grumpy, all I ask is, could you cut the Fat of bacon, her response, no cut it yourself we haven’t got time to mess about with that. She wasted more time talking to me, then they would’ve done cutting the fact of bacon. Spend £60 in there with my family for her to be rude and not get what I wanted to eat. Too old, too rude. Too grumpy. Get her of the till.

Visited on a busy sunny Monday in the school holidays. 2 adults, 2 teens. We had a lovely meal, well organised with friendly and helpful staff. Clean throughout. No complaints at all. There is a range of prices from sandwiches and children’s meals to a decent adult meal. Ordering is done at the servery with food brought to the table. You don’t need a ticket for the farm to enjoy a meal here.

After many visits with no complaints I'm sorry to leave this review. The girl didnt seem to understand my order of 2 lots of poached eggs on brown toast and a soya latte.🤷♀️..I did repeat it and hoped for the best. After a long wait 2 lots of fried egg on toast came! Sent it back whilst still waiting for my coffee. This time we got our very well done toast with one tepid poached egg. We were hungry and just ate it and left. Felt very short changed to be honest. I will give it another go next week and hope I get a member of staff that can get my uncomplicated order right.

In August my wife and I ate here. My meal was a burger which was fine. My wife ordered the southern fried chicken burger, advertised as a burger. Usually a chicken burger like this is a slice of chicken breast in seasoned breadcrumbs.. When the food came my wife’s burger consisted of 4 tiny overdone chicken goujons. When we queried this with staff, we were told it is goujons for the chicken burger, not chicken breast. The funny thing is the shop on the site sells chicken breasts. When we got home I emailed the Restaurant, at Cannon Hall Farm. No reply was received. I emailed them again on 19th August, one week later. I received a reply stating a manager would contact me ASAP. I waited until 19th September as I hadn’t from the Restaurant I emailed them again, and received a reply that stated it would be prioritised for someone to contact me re the points I raised. To date a week later I have not heard from the Restaurant. To my mind this is disgraceful customer service. It makes me think all they want is the consumers money, without providing the service to go with it.I still await a reply from this establishment.

Went for lunch with my husband found staff young but polite, tea pot leaked all over tray and just went downhill, beef and onion sandwich very soggy, pie and peas very small portion glad we both ordered chips, pie just didn’t taste right. I have visited this establishment many times before and food has always been lovely. We spent over £25 which isn’t a massive amount but considering we ate hardly anything. Spoke to manager we were eventually refunded £15 which I wasn’t happy with but I wasn’t about to stand in the restaurant arguing. So it cost £10 !!!! For a latte, a couple of sips of tea and a couple of sips of coke. I emailed Richard directly but as far as he can ascertain food was around £12 he didn’t ask about any sides and even though appreciates customer feedback he believes we have been compensated. Very expensive experience and we will not be returning this has put me off visiting cannon hall all together which is a shame as we also visit the butcher and deli counter regular. Looks like I’ll be going to Blacker Hall Farm shop and cafe from now.

Went for breakfast and ended up just having a coffee, the menu is so short/limited even given the current crisis and everything is served in takeaway containers. The place is normally busy but there was more staff in attendance then customers eating, can't be making any money. Yet down the road at Thyme Bistro is was as full as restrictions will allow, serving proper food on crockery with proper cutlery and a much more extensive menu.

The food was not very good. The beef sandwich was full of grissle. I had to ask the staff in the restaurant to sweep the floor. My daughter paid for her meal separately. We waited 45 minutes for our meal. My daughter and granddaughters was another hour.I complained and, was told that there are two separate kitchens and unfortunately for us we both had different kitchens. My daughter and granddaughters food was awful. My daughter had the fish fingers, which was mainly batter with a tiny bit of fish in the middle. My daughter took the batter off one of the fish fingers to show us how little fish there was there. My granddaughter couldn't eat her meal. There was nothing taken off our bill for this terrible service. The staff were run ragged, not enough staff to cope. I would be very reluctant to eat there again.

I was stuffed after finishing it all! All the food looked so good and the prices were excellent for the portion sizes and quality of the food. We've visited here a few times as a family and generally always enjoyed the experience. Our recent visit this month has again been very good. The prices are very good and affordable and fair and the food is nice. The restaurant does have a fairly varied menu.On this occasion I had the pie with chips and peas and enjoyed it. In the past, I've had fish and chips and I definitely rate the fish to be a very good standard. The restaurant can get a bit manic and busy and getting a table can be tricky. However, on average most people spend around 45 minutes here so the turnaround is fairly quick. In the future, my wife and I are interested in going on one of their Friday evening bistro suppers so we look forward to that.I'm happy to recommend the White Bull restaurant as a very good place to eat.
