We had an amazing day for my Grandads 90th birthday at the Wheatsheaf. The staff went above and beyond & were so friendly. The food was amazing and the pub was clean and looked lovely. It was my first time at this pub although my Nan & Grandad visit regularly & we will definitely be back and wouldn’t hesitate to book another function here! Thank you so much for allowing us to make some special memories.

Loved the £17.50 Prosecco. Is it in the shops? Staff went the extra mile to ensure we were OK. Food and drinks were lovely and not too expensive. Would certainly visit again.

Had my fathers wake yesterday afternoon and I cannot thank Tammy enough herself and team made the afternoon very special food loads of and was excellent , the drink service was very quick absolutely brilliant Thankyou Tammy for making a hard day end with a enjoyable gathering of family and friends , my dad would have been so proud

For the money the food is OK, but really nothing special. As a pub, it's got a good selection of drinks, has live music or a DJ some nights and isn't a bad place to spend an evening

We took my husband's elderly aunt who lives just around the corner, for lunch. She hadn't ever been but as it was walking distance and they were dog friendly, it was our only choice. We were made very welcome, the food and wine were excellent and we had a really lovely visit. The young waitress was delightful. Next time we get a day off and can treat his auntie to lunch, we will definitely be back with our little dog. Thanks very much x

Problems in kitchen with equipment led to lengthy delay with lunch but free drinks offered as recompense . New potatoes were uncooked but apologies and discount given. Also music was loud and only marginally reduced on request. Would however give them the benefit of the doubt another chance some other time as was much better on previous visit some time ago.

This place never disappoints. They have excellent dishes for convenient pricing, there no long wait even when they are busy.

This place is obviously one of the most attractive place to eat in the neighborhood. Whenever I go there I am highly pleased. They manage their very high level service and the topmost level of cooking they give. You surely will enjoy this this place. Highly recommended.

We love to go out. Last night we came to this delicious place which friends recommended to us. We enjoyed a beautiful time there with very good meal and a well-trained crew and a talented chef. We put this place in our phone list and we shall certainly come back very soon. We deeply recommend.

We parked outside pub for about 45 mins one evening My friend just got a fine of £100 . It's a joke we were the only vehicle and did not see any warning signs. Be careful if you go in this place

Been coming here off and on for 40 years. They need to make it more appealing to Mr ordinary, maybe hack up tarmac at front and turf /plant stuff.... Doesn't look appealing atm, otherwise good pint, staff ok,

The Wheatsheaf has completely turned around in the last few months. It’s a great place to go for Lunch with a great varied menu and constantly hanging daily menus. Staff are brilliant and friendly. Highly recommend

It passed as a pub but on the night I was there, the bar staff really have no real experience and this really let's the venue down.

Don't know how to cook chips. Disgusting.

Bar staff seem to lack experience on my visit and couldn't handle more than 2 drinks which, with a packed bar, was an issue.

The menu and service were beyond our expectations. We surely enjoyed the ambience of this spot. Great restaurant to take my family out for lunch.

Used to come out smelling of chips, but visited recently and arrived home smelling only of beer, so something must have improved...

Terrible received a parking fine of £100 for using the car park and the staff/management were about as helpful as a slap in the face. will avoid as they clearly enjoying ripping people off

Went on the fact we'd seen the chalk board outside. Wow fantastic bit of luck. The burgers and handmade chips, side salad and cloeslaw were absolutely gorgeous and delicious. The offer came with a pint or medium wine worth a fiver all for only £10.50. The home made burger was one of the best I have tasted. I even had the double burger with cheese and bacon included in that price. Don't bother cooking on a Monday get down to the Wheatsheaf in West Wickham. Picture below

Food was absolutely delicious... fantastic presentation and as much as I was full had some sticky tofee pudding which went down really well...nice clean homely pub... manager and Alfie were so lovely and friendly.

This pub has won me over completely because it is so inclusive. The way they welcome all people is fantastic - however, I watched how they served and welcomed an autistic member of the community - called Andre. They treat him with such warm, humility and dignity that it left a lasting impression on me an my friends. The venue has great staff and fantastic food - enjoy

Ate a african curry there was amazing (Bunny Chow) it was served in nearly half a loaf of hollowed out bread, a bit filling for me, but so tasty, and a great fill up for the builder's with an appetite ! Whilst there had a noss at other people's grub and I have to say it all looked pretty damn good, am defiantly going back for another try at the menu ! Great value for Money, Really nice staff ! Highly Recommended.

Pub used to be really good, used to have friendly staff and an amazing chef, now its staff just don't care and are cert rude. The people that actually own the pub are bullies and very rude and aggressive. I would not recommend anyone to go here.

We went there for a girlie lunch to try out the new menu with the new management. It was not disappointing. Home made burgers and chips which were fab and enormous portions. Don’t go away hungry for sure. Great service. We will be back. Great...

I like this place is has a front beer garden set back from the street and a nice rear garden with some nicer wicker chairs and tables as well as picnic benches and a small plastic children's play area.they seem to do a fair range of food and lots of seating inside.

Excellent staff and real ale served well. Pint of Peroni £5.40....you could save £1 a pint and walk up to the Ship who also serve good real ale ! AND THEY HAVE BANDS ON THREE DAYS A WEEK

Nice modern pub with lots of space, nice beer, friendly staff and location. Car parking available. Can’t comment on the food as haven’t eaten there, but would definitely recommend for drinking.

This Wheatsheaf was a nice pub to go to note used to be It has gone to a once thriving over 25s pub with a great atmosphere to a no atmosphere pub with no one in there full of kids We went there on the Saturday 80s evening, apart from our small party there was about 10 people in there Which i would say most were on drugs The Wheatsheaf has definitely gone to pot excuse the pun
