The Wharton Park Carvery in Cheshire West and Chester

Went for lunch while visiting family. Excellent value for money, large portions, good selection of freshly cooked food. Quick service but didn’t feel rushed, waitress was very efficient.

Great service, friendly atmosphere and good value food. Plenty of choice and lovely puddings. Reasonable prices. Easy to park. Nice surroundings, comfortable seating, plenty of space.

Had a beautiful meal the staff are amazing always friendly and welcoming, the Wharton now looks amazing after the refurbishment thank you all and we shall definitely be returning soon

Popped in for lunch today we both had pizzas they were gorgeous I had stuffed crust on my pepperoni it was delicious with a side of onion rings

My Husband and I stopped off for a late lunch and had the carvery. It was absolutely gorgeous. Everything was cooked perfectly. Cant wait to come back.

I am a regular visitor to this restaurant and the service and cleanliness is second to none. All the staff are well mannered, courteous and go out of their way to make sure you are happy with the service you have received. Without singleing a member of Staff out, Ian, the manager is excellent

Just been to the stonehouse carvery. Had the tastiest roast we have had for a long time. Ian the manager is absolutely superb. Dawn was also amazingly helpful. This restaurant deserves a five star review. Totally recommend to everyone.

I just wanted to share my experience of the wharton Park carvery ..we come here often and are always very happy with both the food and the service. Today was no exception..served by Kelly and Jane and both really do make their customers feel at home and happy. I really do look forward to seeing Kelly as she always finds time to have a chat and a giggle and nothing is ever too much trouble for this lovely lady. Stonehouse..Kelly is a real asset to your business..from one very happy retuning customer

Lovely food, friendly staff, great atmosphere. Food was very tasty and the staff could do enough to help you, particularly the manager. Would recommend all too try a meal there.

Highly recommend for family meals out, celebrating something or just want a cosy meal for two. There's a kids play area inside, and outside a large grassed area with seating. I booked via the app for 6pm on a Saturday (booking isn't really needed). Served at the bar quickly, we got drinks and carvery tickets. Whilst you are at the bar remember to put your reg into the tablet on the left. If you download the app you can order from your table instead. Today the meats were carved by Rowan, who was very happy and pleasant with all the customers, five stars for that man! The rest of the carvery didn't disappoint. It's responsibly priced. Only negative is the ladies toilet cubicles are a squeeze to get in.

We have been here quite a number of times always choosing the carvery, been to quite a few but none compare to here A1.!!!!

Fancied a carvery so decided to eat here. The food was plentiful and the chef who served the meat was friendly with a good sense of humour. Tables are close together and we were pleased it wasn't busy as we were frequently disturbed by young children running around. This is definitely a family place which isn't for us but if you want a quick roast dinner then it does the job.

Thought I’d treat the family to a Sunday lunch wasn’t disappointed at all the carvery was full of piping hot food the beef was gorgeous

As a regular visitor for the carvery it's a great carvery at a brilliant price with nice thick gravy 👌🏻. Friendly and welcoming staff and a relaxed atmosphere.

From step one of crossing the threshold at the stone house pub in winsford, my breath was taking away with the warm satisfying aroma of MEAT! (I knew the sweats were to follow) ☺️ the essence of fresh sumptuous veg was mind blowing! The chilled, fruity and refreshingly acidic drink I had was the perfect pallet cleanser I needed to help me through the mountain of carved pleasure! Carvery fully recommended. Now on to pudding.. if you’ve ever felt the need to fully submerse yourself in to chocolate heaven I sincerely advise the chocolate brownie is placed before you when deciding on pud pud! The staff! well what can I say that hasn’t already been voiced! Very welcoming and smiles a plenty!

Love coming here with my partner, staff are lovely always greeted with a smile. There is a children's soft play area for them to enjoy. As for the food I can't fault it, my favourite all you can eat at breakfast. Highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing service! I want to personally shout out to the manager!!! No problem was a problem always catered to our needs and considering it was extremely busy catered to all. If you are dropping your car off at the Arnold clark in Winsford. Make sure you stop by at the Wharton Park pub. Amazingly good breakfast and staff. Chloe and the rest of the staff made my stop relaxing.
