The Wharf Inn in Malvern Hills

I have a season spot on this site and from day one I brought my caravan on Ian and Claire the wardens as we are disabled has help us no end very polite and welcoming the site itself is clean and well maintained fish pools look great and the pub is just kicking off nicely food menu could be better but due to just opening its exceptable great for family's too.

Good place next to the river nice bar and restaurants area

It was a good experience at first but then later on the night soon realised that underage kids was being served drinks and they was then later on throwing up behind the pub after women was buying them drinks and giving them cigarettes.There was then a couple arguing outside and we was very disappointed to say that it was supposed to be a family site. Soon into the night we then saw the bartender who only looked 16-17 drinking in the pub after finishing glass collecting. Don’t know if that’s the way it works around here but will definitely not be returning.

Electric for site expensive,don't use nothing like that at home,needs a discount fishing ticket for seasonal asif you go with day ticket often expensive

food was quite expensive and was not all that filling either. pub was run down bar staff were not very talkative kids running everywhere, all over not looked after correctly and the food wasn’t that nice and there are not many choices on the menu.

Rang in advance to reserve a table for dinner, but discovered the number on the web is no longer connected, but went anyway. Not surprised to find the premises empty and no food available, so clearly no table reservation had been necessary. Surprised really that I went, first and last time.

Had Sunday lunch for my mums 80th the food was delicious a choice of beef pork or chicken , they couldn’t do enough for my mum , put up banners fit her a card etc , drinks reasonably priced , you would struggle to get a better value , good quality riverside venue family of 13 catered for easily and we had loads of space .. very impressed

Today I had beautiful Sunday dinner at the warf it was great value for money it was massive I really enjoyed it the beef was amazing the staff looked after 13 of us for my 80th grandmother's birthday party they couldn't do enough for us they gave us our own room put bunting and flags up and couldn't of been more attentive I can not recommend enough I will definitely be back and can't thank the staff enough for there efforts THANK YOU

What a lovely afternoon. Lovely Sunday lunch and beautiful view over the river. Celebrating 80th birthday and the owner even our some banners up and bunting. Really great service thanks very much

Moored overnight, the pub has just gone through a refurbishment and looked lovely ,nice mooring and gardens ,nice pint

This is such a wonderful place to be. Right next to the river with a great view and stunning food great and bar service we are definitely coming back

Nice pub on the banks of the River Severn. Outside seating available and plenty of indoor seating with a lovely view of the river. Great menu selection with good offers, with a carvery on a Sunday. Childrens play area at front. Live entertainment some evenings.

We had a fantastic time here today staff where lovely and friendly and every member of our 10 person party loved the carvery.

Just had the cavery it was amazing best one iv had in years the cheese leaks and turkey was beautiful it was also my father's birthday so we took a cake with us the staff came in singing Happy birthday to him was brilliant and really well priced 2pints and a cavery I didn't brake 20quid thank guys will definitely be back

We are returning customers as we have a great customer experience here . We find it hard as a family to get out but here Alex & Danielle always make us feel welcome , great service , friendly staff , food always cooked fresh

We checked the website before we went. It said they were open. When we arrived for Sunday carvety they were closed. Nothing on FB or website!

I have no experience as I had booked a table for 4 on Friday 25th November at 12 30 to find the pub closed which was very annoying that nobody had phoned me to apologise or to explain why they were closed. We were meeting friends that had come a long way . Have since tried ringing but no reply . A very annoyed customer. I just need an explanation.

Amazing carvery unfortunately we caught the last one as end of season but will be back next season every Sunday, meat was brilliant, veg tatties and veg brilliant... Gravy, amazing!! And the desserts were virtually sold out they were that good. 5 star to the chef!

Went to see a friend of ours that was the elvis tribute busy place sadly arrived to late for food

Wanted a bite to eat but there was a 45 minute wait, despite the place being half empty. Enjoyed a cider by the river and an expensive packet of worcester sauce flavour Yorkshire crisps. The campsite clientele looked, and sounded, like they'd been there since opening. The language used in front of little ones made me move tables.

Perfect location on a Summers afternoon. Reasonable drinks and food. Not too busy, a better location and parking than the Holt Fleet just over the river, who turned us away "NO ROOM OUTSIDE"

Amazing location, really friendly bar staff and customers. Our food was very tasty an assortment of dishes and the Friday fish and chips was tasty and brilliant value. Definitely will go again.

Lovely clean pub in a beautiful setting with amazing views on the Riverside. Ales were kept perfectly and the food is amazing. Fish and chip Friday was first class and the Sunday carvery is one of the best I've had. Would highly recommend a visit

We decided to go here for lunch as we had a hankering for fish and chips to find there's a buy one get one free on their beer battered fish and chips. What a bargain. The wait wasn't too long either. Bonus, as we were famished! It was great to see chunky chips and not fries on the plate, with a good sized piece of fish, a nice sized portion of garden peas and a small but adequate pot of delicious tartare sauce. Also a good sized wedge of grilled lemon. The food was just perfect. I couldn't eat all of mine, as the portion size was quite big. We'll definitely go back soon.

Had our wedding reception here. Carvery was first class. Buffet in the evening was brilliant. Couldn't fault anything. Dani, Alex, Ty and the team were fantastic

Beautiful setting by the river, good restaurant varied menu something for everyone excellent food professional and friendly staff. Menu has changed still a few old favourites plus a street food type additions plus some different starters

Sat in the sun overlooking the river 7. Our meals were fantastic. I recommend the tapas.

It's a pub, they sell booze, what's not to like.

Would have given one star but for the pleasent initial service from staff... Kitchen had closed early so can't comment on food. We arrived by boat and moored up... the garden was full of unsupervised children one of whom we suspect later threw a glass or bottle at boat totally un-provoked, this could of been a very serious incident but thank- fully hit a non critical part of the boat... Would not recommend these moorings.

Could do better. Drinks were a tad expensive. The food. Mixed feelings about that. My sister had ham and eggs which was very good. My partner had southern fried chicken burger. Chips and salad. Didn't taste nothing like SFC. Also. Like my sister's salad a brown gooey sauce was poured over it. Which was unacceptable if I'd have wanted that l would have asked. And l don't recall seeing anything on the menu re that. I had burnt pork belly a ends and onion rings. Very good. The gents had no water to wash my hands with so l had to go to the disabled loo. No drier in there. So back to the men's to dry them. A group of young UN's came into the restaurant they we're noisy . But they are young. But what we didn't like was all the effin and blindin. The restaurant was cold. The food and drinks service was very polite but slow. Don't think I'd go there in the summer season as being a caravan and tent Site l imagin it to be very busy.

Had a meal here with some friends , food was ok , right on the river Severn.

Don't park in the Wharf Inn car park and we did and upon our return the car had been vandalized by stones thrown at rear windows of car and broke the glass. The pub owners were no help they did have CCTV but would not look at it for us, although they said that they would...do they know more about this then what we do. Wharf Inn area where there are holiday caravans which attracts the scallywags who vandalized our car.

Nice pub at the edge of the River Severn. Pretty quiet probably due to the high cost of drinks.

Fantastic location overlooking the Severn. Breakfast was fantastic - sausages were lovely, black pudding spot on. Only slight negative was the scrambled egg. Better than any breakfast in Germany.

Excellent carvery. Lots of choice. Well worth a visit. You drive through a caravan site so be aware children are running and cycling across the drive. They appear from nowhere.

Great place for a drink. We sat on the back decking facing the river with the dog and enjoyed a lager and a cider. Both were a really nice drink.

Came down to make the most of the weather sat outside staff were really helpful they took our drinks order then 5 mins later we ordered the fish and chips with mushy peas and my partner had steak baguette my children had pizza and chips with beans the food was absolutely cooked to perfection. The pub was very covid safe with hand sanitisers around the pub and we had to wear our masks going inside the pub, can’t wait for august we will be returning.

Riverside Lunch We came down yesterday to make the most of this glorious weather, we was not disappointed at all. My partner had a crusty steak baguette which she really enjoyed whilst myself had a fresh cheese ploughman’s also very fresh and tasty. It was really busy as well which is always a good sign. Well done wharf keep up the good work.

What a lovely day we had at The Wharf Inn. We arrived to be greeted by a friendly and helpful member of staff, who explained that it was table service. We seated ourselves at a table right along side the river and it wasn’t long before a member of staff was on hand to take our drinks order, they also explained that if we were wanting to order food that there would a small delay, because of how busy they were and the restrictions that were in place. We got our drinks which were a welcome sight on a lovely warm day and we also placed our food order, I will say that it took a little while for the food to arrive, but we didn’t mind because we could all see that the staff were doing a sterling job under the current restrictions that are in place. The food when it arrived was excellent and good value for money. So yes we will be returning to The Wharf, because we really enjoyed our time there.

A table was booked for us for 5pm. I was told they started serving food at 6pm. We arrived, no table booked, sit wherever!!We waited with our masks on at the bar for a drink for 15 minutes to be served!! There were customers that were walking about with no masks at all, there was no sanitising stations, no notice about masks being worn inside, totally NOT Covid safeWe asked for a menu at 5.45 a waiter took our food order at 6.10 at 6.15 waiter came out and said Chef has finished cooking!!!Asked for the manager, we did manage to get a meal in the end. I have never been to such a disfunctional place ever.They really need to get things sorted.Won't be going back in a rush...I appreciate times are difficult at the moment, but they just had not got a clue. I would have thought they would have been full on trying to please customers and build there business up whilst they can!

Booked table, upon arrival waited by board as instructed. After waiting a good while we decided to seat ourselves. Sat at table as 2 waiters for drinks, they said ok didnt come back. Then girl waitress asked us, said be 2 mins, after waiting 45 mins at the table we left. We were going to order food and drinks!! Service is awful!!! Other people left too when we were leaving sick of waiting!! No urgency to the young staff, they have not got a clue!! Get some staff with experience!!!

11 of us arrived for family meal. No one approached us for 30 minutes to take order. My husband went to search for a waiter “be with you in 2 minutes sir” 10 minutes later still no sign - I found a waiter who took drinks order and said would be back with menus. 15 minutes later, still no drinks and no menus. I searched out waiter who told us - in front of our bare table - that our drinks had already been served to us which was just mind blowing. Went to find manager who was mid argument with another customer who had been waiting two hours to be served Just so bad it took your breath away - we left without either drinks or food - life is too short to have to battle to be served
