Got recommended to come here, and have to say couldn't of been a better choice even though quiet the barmaid on tonight 2/5/2023 was just delightful one of the best barmaids I have experienced over the last few years! Good choice of beers on tap!

I find each visit to this pub is rewarding. The quality shines through.

Played some poker with some very pleasant chaps at the wharf today, and a great time. There where a few things that impressed me more than the poker. Firstly the girls on the bar 10/10... I then asked for a packet of ready salted crisps... They gave me something called a grab bag..it's massive..then finally the toilet in the gents.. the cisterns built into a white high gloss unit with a soft close seat, I sat in there for over an hour, I felt like I was on holiday. Can't wait to return, even if only to use the gents...

great bar/ pub, just been for first time with friends who live in congleton, not been before but good selection of drinks and really nice staff. had the Joshua fight on too so assume they do most sports on the screens. have pool table and outdoor garden.
