We stayed here in the 'Wenn's suite' as part of a wider trip. The front of house staff were very welcoming and friendly. The suite was well decorated, comfortable and had a great view of the minster. After arrival we went downstairs and had some of the food served by the chop house, cannot recommend this enough, the portions were perfect and delicious. We had a slight issue with our hot water but the staff did everything they could to fix/mitigate this. Would recommend staying here.

Popped in to eat towards end of their service and had a great meal, my chips were the best I've ever tasted

Came in here for dinner, friendly welcome, cosy but lively atmosphere which was great, fantastic waitress/bartender and food to die for. Best pub meal we have eaten for a long time. Compliments to the chef!

Fantastic place to stay for a short trip, front of house/reception staff was amazing very friendly and welcoming, I stayed in a deluxe apartment and the apartment was really nice would definitely recommend and would stay here again

We only popped inf or a couple of beers and were not disappointed as the stout & Director's beers were very tasty, and at a good price. Very reasonable prices too. Nice interior and very clean.

Great place to visit , good food good choice of beers really nice setting . Placed on the old Saturday market place opposite the minster, it sits in a very historic part of Kings Lynn . With rooms upstairs done out to a very high standard it’s definitely a great place to stay and use as a base to visit the area . My only moan and it’s a small one is while sitting outside on a lovely afternoon is the people sitting with their tops off ,know it seems petty but I feel it stops family’s and others from coming in …..

One of our regular haunts due to simple fact we get always excellent food with great service, staff are always friendly and professional. Sunday roast always amazing. Only gripe is that although they have a great choice of beers we are cider drinkers and despite having some excellent ciders in the past they now have Thatchers on draught. Keep up the good work guys.we will be back again soon.

Ended up here by chance, glad we did, fish and chips were great, good ale , and very friendly service, next time we are in Kings Lynn, we will be in there again

First time visiting. Popped in for lunch on a Saturday without booking. Staff lovely, welcoming, and efficient. We ordered 2 fish finger sandwiches, a bitter shandy and a lager shandy which came to £24. Food arrived quickly and hot - it was delicious. Drinks were lovely too. Highly recommend and will become a go-to place for us.

Amazing place. Food was absolutely fantastic. I had the beef short rib penang curry delicious which was recommended by the staff.. The staff are all lovely nice and welcoming.

We recently stayed here and found the welcome to be friendly and warm. The rooms are quirky, clean and nicely decorated. A great location in King's Lynn, lovely atmosphere in the restaurant and bar and would definitely visit again.

excellant price for spacious accommodation including a nice little kitchen, lounge, large bathroom including both a shower and a bath, and a really nice bedroom with large comfy long sized bed. The room is in need of some care with a leaking shower head and stains on the furniture (I'm sure they've been cleaned). The room faced out into the King's Lynn minster which, laying in bed listening to the bell ringing practice Sunday morning was great. Being a room over a pub in a busy party of town there was some expected noise but the area cleared later on as I suspected most people moved to the Norfolk Street area of the town. The staff were great, friendly and welcoming. In summary great price large apartment and we would definitely revisit

EXPENSIVE BAR !! £8.30 For 1 pint of lager & 1 glass of cola, too expensive for us, shame as nice bar, and could sit outside .

This is a great place. I had the short rib beef curry on two separate occasions and it was magnificent both times. Also serves real ale. Highly recommended.

A great place to sit outside in the summer. I've eaten here and it was food of a high standard, with frequent connoisseur dishes and those for the less discerning, of a high standard. I love the smell of the place as you walk through the corner door, old wood, lush.

Great food Gluten-Free visited bank holiday Monday had two mains and two small plates amazing and the service 100% . Prawn linguine and GF beef short rib Penang curry, white bait, olives and pork scratchings amazing. Sat on table 8 looking out over the cathedral with the sunshine great memories thank you see you again cheers. And to Gluten-Free people a must visit👍👍

Family meal as we were visiting from Yorkshire. Meal was outstanding and the service was friendly and welcoming. Love the atmosphere and the surroundings nearby.

Stayed 1 night with our dog. Friendly and helpful staff. Had a meal in the bar which was good. Parking out front is reasonably priced overnight and is next to the high street.

Had heard good reviews. Expected tasty meat and beers. Sadly disappointed. Two bland ales and a plethora of identical industrial lagers. Nothing decent in bottles either. No table service. Had to pay at bar when ordering - alarm bells started ringing. Cut of the day was off. Slightly surly bar staff. One order was incorrect. The two burgers were too salty and overcooked. Wanted to find somewhere in Kings Lynn for decent beer and pub food. Sadly, this is not it.

Well located accommodation at the top of the High Street. 24 hrs safe parking in nearby NCP, £5.95. Friendly and helpful staff. We were upgraded to a suite; lovely spacious rooms, with cooking facilities and jacuzzi. Some elements could be better; the room was not as clean as it could've been and needed some TLC, but nothing too major. Then again, it's the small things we notice most. Food in the restaurant is excellent and good value for money. The breakfast is really well presented and was value for money. Overall, a great stay, we will stay again

Two very personable guys on service on a quiet Thursday, early evening. Two good lagers purchased at a reasonable price. Two simple but very good meals served to us. Two courses would have been ‘two’ much for us. You should go ‘two’.

A superb meal . We were a party of 4 . Having reserved a table we were shown to a lovely table by the fire . Our hostess ( Hannah ) was first class. Friendly and super efficient . One of our party is gluten free and vegetarian . The kitchen catered in a wonderful and knowledgeable way . All 4 of us enjoyed delicious food. A first class meal ( all plates returned empty) ! . Lovely atmosphere . Definitely would make this restaurant a favourite haunt !

We booked this location for our Christmas break stopover booked in advance, the room was very cozy and very roomy excellent staff services, good food menu and a stones throw away from the town center. Very competitive prices for the rooms and meals, parking available at a small price, would highly recommend to stay at this hotel pub restaurant we are personally will be booking again, Thanks to all the staff at this establishment.

A great find in Kings Lynn. Fabulous big room very well equipped, even had a claw bath tub in the bedroom along with a kitchenette and all other mod cons. Spotlessly clean. Bar and restaurant downstairs was very cozy and the food looked great although I didn’t indulge, fancied a pizza nearby instead. No hesitation in recommending this place and a very reasonable price for the room too. Special shout out to the manager, I think her name was Zsara who couldn’t be more helpful.

We booked this a little bit last minute, but so glad we find it. Parking was very easy across the road, at reasonable rates. Welcome by Zara(maybe Sara) was friendly and helpful. We were shown to a very above average apartment(equipped for everything!!). Really impressed. Later, we drank and ate in the bar. Real Ales were in good shape and the food was wholesome and very enjoyable. Reasonable prices too. Our experience of this place was fantastic and look forward to our next stay. Recommended to all, except with mobility issues, there are stairs to the rooms and apartments.

We had a lovely stay here and wished we could have stayed longer. We will be going back! We booked this as somewhere to stay for our visit to the Sandringham Christmas Fair. There were four of us in our party (2 couples) and from the moment we arrived, the staff gave us a wonderful welcome and were very helpful, giving us numbers for cab firms to get to the Fair (highly recommend King's Lynn Cabs) and providing all the check in info we needed - it was too early at the time. We checked in on our return and were escorted to our rooms by another lovely staff member. To our amazement, we were both in suites (The Garden Suite and The Betts Suite), absolutely amazing value for money! Our suite (The Garden Suite) featured a lounge/ kitchen, separate bedroom, and ensuite bathroom. It was very fresh, clean and well decorated. We decided to eat at the hotel and the food didn't disappoint! Decent portions, beautifully cooked meat, and fish and delicious deserts. The chef clearly knows his stuff! After a very comfortable night, we also ate breakfast there, and again, this was absolutely perfect. As if this place couldn't get any better, the icing on the cake for us was the manager, Rob whose Customer Service skills are first class! He was attentive, interested, and nothing was too much trouble! He really was amazing. We are already considering going back for a long weekend.

We were a party of 21. Each and every plate of food was piping hot and very tasty. I had a roast which was amazing and I was impressed with having all fresh vegetables. Thank you to all the lovely staff, I will definitely return.

I stayed here from Monday to Friday for business. My room was massive, kitchen, living room, big bedroom and bathroom (Rush suite). Staff are very friendly & the breakfasts are very good. Definitely recommend.

We went for Sunday lunch on 15th October with 2 friends We had never been before but would definitely go again it was one of the best Sunday lunches i had had, I don’t eat meat but they did me a veggie roast with halloumi fries we all agreed the meal was lovely and the staff friendly and welcoming

We stayed at The Wrenns for the bank holiday weekend. The apartment was lovely and ideal size for a couple. The location was ideal too as you are just around the corner from the shops and bars without the noise. Opposite the Minster and close by to other beautiful historical buildings… there is a small car park outside but a bigger one around the corner (however I recommend you download the NCP app if staying in this carpark as best was to pay, machines can play up). As a place to stay I would recommend The Wrenns

Pub was great and food was amazing But shout out to manager who was excellent and very helpful Downside we had a bath in our bedroom Husband had a bath in the morning Pulled the plug out and the waste pipe wasn’t connect so water went everywhere Staff was very helpful but it was a shock!

Dropped in by chance for lunch and we were delighted by the attentive service anddd CD excellent food. Waitress could not have been better. I loved my Barnsley Chop - yum, cooked perfectly.

I came to stay at the Wenns because it was arranged by someone else. I came with no expections, a little nervous at first. HOWEVER, I was greeted by Rob and he just made my visit much more smooth and relaxed! Thank you, ROB!!! 😘....

This place is amazing. We have a lovely 2 course meal with drinks. The food was outstanding and the staff were extremely polite and friendly. We are visiting Kings Lynn and we had no idea where to go for lunch. We were recommended this place...

First visit 29th May and definitely my last. Do not bother looking at the menu online it's not accurate prices are different and meals are different. Young member of staff male seemed ok not much customer service about him. I alerted him to a allergy...

Fantastic Location and friendly staff, had an evening meal here last week, lovely menu and cut of the day is one to look out for. They have a great choice of drinks, and accommodation is available.

One of the best / if not the best pub in Lynn where they serve the best cocktails, and is a great alternative to the likes of Spoons.

This is the 3rd time I have been with a friend for a drink and been treated poorly by the arrogant manager and his team of people. Totally snubbed, rude when served, no hello, no thank you or any chat, talking over our heads to...

The first time we came here, the food and service was very good , however the second time we came , we asked for an evening meal menu . The staff member went off to find or print off a menu as there wasn’t any...

We’d booked a table for 4, they couldn’t find the booking so told us to sit where we liked! got our drinks not alcohol then took our order, no specials tonight and no burgers as they’d sold out at lunchtime so limited menu really. All...
