Decent. Lovely fish. Great mushy peas. Good curry sauce. Very reasonably priced. Nice to have a decent local chippie close to the in-laws (makes things more bearable).

My normal chippy had already closed for the evening. I decided to use Wootton fish bar as they open until 9pm on a Friday. I Had Jumbo sausage, chips and curry sauce. Worst chips I’ve had from a chippy ever. They were very dry and around a third of the portion were hard, scrappy and inedible. The sausage was of poor quality, contained gristle and definitely not a local butcher’s sausage like many chip shops now sell. The curry sauce was absolutely flavourless, didn’t even taste of curry. Total waste of £6.30 and I’ll not be returning.

Just moved to the area, and on my neighbours advice, came here for my tea. Excellent fish and chips cooked perfectly. Very happy to recommend

Only one star down for atmosphere because it can get busy and cramped waiting for food - otherwise can't fault Wootton Fish Bar

Chips are always delicious and I like the veggie burger. My husband says the fish is good also! It's our favourite fish and chip shop in the area. A few things to note, there is usually a little wait (outside as the shop is small) and there is a minimum spend to use card but this doesn't put us off because the food is great. Deffo worth a visit if in the area or want a snack when in the park opposite!!

The chips were fantastic, and my partners fish too, I often pick cheeseburgers and sadly mine from here was awful, I think they microwaved it, it was as hard as a board. But for fish and chips it's excellent.

As a lover of my fish and chips, this place was a great one . Friendly staff , great food and good price . Fish freshly cooked,the chips even being new potatoes was crisp but soft , 5 🌟 will be going back when nearby again .

Amazing, visited whilst on holiday in Kings Lynn they would have got 5 stars but they did leave a few bad chips in the bag, but they were delicious, curry sauce was really nice, fish is nice but skin is left on which is a bit of a turn off but still tasty highly recommended.

Staying local for a couple of days and we love fish and chips, but we won't be returning, service was slow, the large cod we ordered was no bigger than others regular and the batter was very thin, the chips were very chunky and not a lot of considering again it was supposed to be a large portion. Both were not too greasy tho 🙂.

Travelled to kings Lynn for weekend break, saw this chippy on Google and thought we'd give it a try. We had the Cod and chips and they were lovely, the fish was well cooked and the chips were chunky and perfect, other best thing is they have scraps/bits which a lot don't have anymore. Will definitely go again when in Kings Lynn

My favourite chippy in town that I will happily walk in the rain for! The owner is such a genuinely nice guy who you can have a laugh with but most important is the food! I've never had a bad portion of chips from here and I'm slowly trying everything on the menu. The cod always tastes fresh, sausages are delicious and they even have savloys which won over my partner instantly

Thank you to the kind customer who paid for my food last night as I was in my work uniform. I returned to your fish bar after finishing work and had forgetting my money so i returning home to collect my money and when I arrived a kind gentlemen insisted to pay for my food. The food was lovely and freshly cooked, and the whole family enjoyed the meal, especially my husbands enjoyed his large cod.

Ability to order online very useful. Service was good. Nice fish and chips.

Fish and chips were good but the pineapple fritter was a little greasy. Quite a small shop, which adds to its charm, so have to wait outside once your food is ordered. Think it would be a bit of a pain if was blowing a gale even under the shelter provided.

Fantastic Fish & Chips! Not greasy at all, just really light and crispy. Great batter and the fish is some of the best I've tasted! Excellent. The 'Cod Bites' are awesome!

We have passed by the sign at the end of the road many times but decided to call in today. Really glad we did, both fish and chips were freshly fried and piping hot but most of all, delicious!! We'll certainly be calling again when we're in the area and recommend others to do the same. Orders can be made online to be collected later too.

Seen more fish in my granny’s pond and she’s been dead for 20 years,staff are lovely and chips are good but my god the worst “cod” I’ve ever had. There was more skin and batter than fish meat.

About the worst fish n chips Ive tasted in years. Probably recooked from being frozen.

You have to wait for chips to be cooked, and fish on occasion .But if you are patient, you'll be rewarded with really nice meal. So worth the wait.The staff are warm and friendly. Sorry I knocked the fifth star off, but that's due to the waiting.

Drive pass two other chip shops to come here for a generous portion of correctly cooked chips. Always enjoyed them and great service. I am GF so not tried the battered options but they do have them for me to look at!

Visited Wootton fish bar today , only got chips , but they were very good chips and a generous portion served by friendly staff , can’t give an excellent but only because I didn’t have any other food , but I will be returning

The chips were made with oil that was abit old, small but significant changes that woukd effect the entore running of the chip shop making it far more pleasurable
